Arranged a waiting appointment whilst brakes on my Mini were serviced. Good communication before the appointment. The service was completed in just under 2.5 hours from checking car in to driving off again. Waiting area clean and good WiFi. I like that the service centre emails you a vehicle report as soon as the work is completed. Good service overall but prices on the high side.

Excellent work done on the car, as always, but abysmal customer service. Diagnostic report received at 8.45am; no call to allow me to confirm I wanted the job done. Phoned 6 times the same morning, no reply. Had to get someone from BMW to physically go over and drop them a message at 12.30pm. I have spent the whole day not knowing if the work was being done, and whether it would be completed. All for a new valve, which is a 15 minute job! Such a shame as I have been a customer of Mini for 10+ years, and they have been faultless up to now.

Mini had MOT recently . I like the service I received of the vehicle health check and seeing the video link of technician explaining what he is seeing around the car .It's great to have the car back nice and clean after an Mot or service . Tim in the Service Department is always friendly , gives great customer service and it's good to see the same faces when I bring the car for an Mot or service.

Unfortunately my experience with Chandlers Brighton Mini was a negative one. My Mini was booked in for an MOT at 10am, whilst I understand that Covid 19 precautions make all interactions difficult I felt that I was an inconvenience. I checked the car in on the screen and left it to have it's MOT - I understood from the text I received that I had checked in successfully and that would get a text when the MOT was complete - from the check in I had expected this to be by 4PM. However 4PM came and went with no message so I phoned to find out how my car had got on. I arrived at the garage at the same time as a couple collecting their mini so I had to wait. Due to some delays I had to wait - during which time I was treated to a loud and rather negative assessment of a member of staff's abilities which I could hear from the next room. During my wait three members of staff walked through the area where I was standing without bothering to ask if I was ok - so my impression of Chandlers Brighton Mini - unwelcoming, uncaring and unprofessional, maybe they would have been more enthusiastic if I had been there to buy - or maybe not!

Booked a time to have my breaks done. The work started at 9 and was finished by 10:30 (they called us while we sat in the showroom, in front of them)

I did not get my keys until 12:15!!!

No apology, not explanation and some dirty gloves left in my car. When we said about the gloves we were told that they weren t theirs and they must be yours.

Won t be going back there again anytime soon if I can help it.

Bought the car in for a screen wash top up as you have to use bmw own screen wash and a rattle behind the seat belt panel driver side. Took all morning and I still have the rattle.

Mini Countryman in for its first service. Easy booking, opted to wait the 90 mins. Staff very polite, coffee to hand, tv to watch and all completed with 10 mins to spare Video of the service, talked through the results and the best bit, nothing to pay as covered by the Mini TLC package. Great experience, thank you

Friendly yet professional staff. Prompt turn around of service and MOT plus a few extras. Picked car up and it was spotless.
23/02/2020: Another visit. Booked online for service and MOT. All turned around with no hidden surprises. Staff again were efficient and professional.

After a service I noticed some damage that had been caused during the cleaning process (drivers mat). After contacting MINI they were immediately apologetic and took full responsibility giving me a new mat.

The staff are always friendly and polite and the servicing itself is always spot on.

Recently collected my JCW from Alexia at Chandlers. Firstly the car is amazing but more importantly, the dealership is better than first class. From the moment I walked in to the moment I collected the car I was treated with respect and courtesy. The atmosphere in the dealership was second to none as were all the staff from the receptionist to the General Manager and admin looking after my paper work.

I can t rate them highly enough so if you re looking for a new or used car no matter where you are in the country, go to Chandlers Mini in Brighton.

My initial contact was poor the promise to call back didn t happen. So I had to call mini for the third time to book in an appointment to get my brake pads replaced.
I had an waiting appointment wasn t offered a coffee or a drink whilst I was waiting for my car to be worked on which was a 90 minute wait.
The video & feedback of car was excellent which is the most important to me.
I feel since customer service at front of house could be better & all customers should be treated equally & not by gender when offered drinks etc

I am the owner of a Mini cooper d which shortly after its warranty expired developed an intermittent fault. The guys at Mini were supportive and caring throughout the long process of discovery to fix it. Not only did they ensure I was helped financially by BMW but they kept me in constant touch. I cannot recommend Chandlers highly enough. They are courteous trustworthy and smart

Bought my mini. It s under warranty. Had an issue (software issue with the infotainment system). Took it in to be checked over. I told them prior to drop off that pick up would be a few days as I m a healthcare professional and I work long shifts (sometimes 8am to 8pm). I was phoned a few times to say it was ready despite my previous warnings. Clear they got irritated and left it under a tree. It s come back filthy (it certainly wasn t in this condition when I left it there). Thanks Mini.

I took my Mini Cabriolet into Chandlers BMW Service Department in Portslade for a Brake Fluid Service yesterday at 10am. I had a phone call an hour later to say the Mini was ready to be picked up! Excellent service, polite and friendly staff and a card offering a free wash and valet when lockdown rules are lifted. Thank you!

I always get a great service from Chandlers Mini when I take my car in. The whole process from booking, checking in, receiving updates and when complete is smooth and stress free. Plus this time, they went the extra mile to allow chips on my wndscreen to get repaired whilst on site, which saved myself and the person carrying out the repair the need to arrange for another date, which I was really grateful for. Thank you!

Not great

Booked in for MOT and Break fluid service, I double checked the day before and emailed on the day that I dropped off the car, but it all went wrong, I called later on Tuesday to pay, they didn t know the car was there. They didn t think to call and ask if I had dropped it off. I had emailed in in the morning but there was no reply the person was out of the business and no one was checking the email. I didn t call because the last two times I called it took forever to speak with someone.



However buying a mini or bmw I expect great quality and exceptional service. I have not had this. The Mini is great to look at and great to drive, but the quality of the product is not great, it s not the same quality as a BMW, and then I have issues and problems around the service department. It s not been a great experience perhaps my expectation is too high.

It s all been spoken about this morning and sorted which is great. I m not after anything I just want a great reliable product (which its not) and great service (which I don t have). Another example of this when you call it take 15 mins to get to speak to someone if you dial the main number, I expect better than this.

Because of all this, and having purchased BMWs and Minis since 2004 15 years and all the cars only being serviced at your dealerships I m off to Fiat on Saturday to test drive a 500. You may have lost a customer who knows and I ve had 10 minis, with my first brand new Mayfair in 1988. It s been great fun, but not great quality or great service.

You wanted feedback I hope it helps and please get the quality right with great service, that s all I want.

Chandlers serviced my Mini and it was an absolutely easy process from start to finish. They communicated at all stages of the work, I had email confirmation as well as texts to my mobile and a courtesy call. They did a fantastic job on replacing the brake pads and disks that needed doing and did a complete health check on the car and told me exactly what condition it was in. Extremely polite, faultless service - I will definitely be going back there and have no hesitation in recommending them.

Having visited Chandlers before looking for an upgrade to my old 2007 Mini and speaking with one of the sales team i thought i would do some homework of the Mini i wanted and could afford.
Decided then to have a look around a few Mini garages only to be ignored really by some of the staff who worked in them.
Guildford,Farnborough, Sorry to mention but its true.
Saturday i thought why not go and have a look around Chandlers Brighton and see what they have after viewing many on line.
sat down with a coffee and lexi, not a sales person but more of a friend approach to looking for a car, sat in a few then looked at ones within other branches and then Bingo!! the car i wanted the colour, spec along with all the bells and whistles.
Hour later car ordered depsoit paid along with so much more then i expected in terms of warranty, aftercare,and a fantastic service. week later car collected even better then i imagined in the flesh.
I cannot say enough about my experiance from Chandlers.
Thank you to Alexi and the team for making a dream!

Great service. Fast with excellent customer care. The service department contacted me ahead of my booking to remind me I had a free check-up included in my service pack. The car came back to my cleaned and ready to go! And it was only in there for a few hours

Truly first class experience, couldn t have asked for a better health check on my Mini Cooper S. Receiving an in-depth review of my car by video means I don t have to try and remember everything too and all for a really decent price! Can t recommend these guys enough, so genuine and lovely too!

Reasonable experience but would have expected a better valet considering the price I paid today. Service was expensive. I wasn't given necessary paperwork and had to go back and check if I should have received not paperwork, service details etc.

I booked a full service, advised them that the air...

I booked a full service, advised them that the air conditioning needed attention. I also requested that they did a safety check of the car as I was due to go on a long journey. When I collected the car I asked if this had been done, and if the tyres were all ok. I was told everything was ok, there were no issues to report. The tyre and the pressure had apparently been checked. 2 days later the tyre pressure warning indicator came up. I took the car to a local tyre garage. They pointed out to me that the tread on the front tyres was very low, they were in poor condition, and underinflated, and would not be safe on a long journey. Clearly no such check had been carried out by Chandlers despite my request.
I also believe that the service was a 'rush' job. When I checked the car in at just after 8am, the first collection time I was given was between 2 and 4pm so selected this. At just after 2.30pm, the work on the car had still not been started. I was then told it would be ready at about 4.20pm. This seems a very short space of time for everything to be dealt with, so I am not surprised that certain things were overlooked. My concern is how much of the service was actually carried out. For example, I can see that the convertible roof mechanism has been oiled, but for instance the drivers door creaks when opened so I have had to attend to that myself.

Always look after me as a loyal customer. Josh was absolutely brilliant. He worked very hard to get the best deal and car for my needs. He was a delight to deal with. Lovely new show room where you will be served tea/coffee/juice whilst you are with one of the sales team. I always come away with a huge smile!!

Good after sales care and my car is serviced well. The staff in all departments are very helpful and polite.

Although I don't have any issue with the work done...

Although I don't have any issue with the work done or how I was treated, I was completely baffled by the logic that having just booked a service I am now required to book it in again in less than 4 weeks for a further brake fluid service! Why didn't they do it at the same time?
I had to take time out of work for this service and now I have to do it all again in a couple of weeks....................utterly ridiculous!
