A great place for beginners

If you go during the work week its wide open. No rushing through your round.

Staff was very nice.
Course was in very good shape.
Able to make tee time online and so did not have to go inside at check-in to pay for the round.
It was billed automatically to credit card.
Great place to golf. This place is all about the customer experience. The course is challenging and fun to play. They have plenty of mature trees, decent hazzards ...and will allow you to use every club in your bag. I have played here several times. One time they supplied golfers fresh apples and water while golfing.
Love playing the par 3 at Indian Tree
Great warm up after long lay over.
Okay course. They always have open spots at the last minute.
Awesome golf course!
Going there w my son and practice.
Nice restaurant on site to have a bite.
Always a nice range! Note: currently hitting of mats only for social distancing.
Nice course for the price. Nice variety of different kind of holes.
Great place to golf. Public course. They have leagues and also meetup groups there for singles at the bar.
The course is in nice condition, the staff is friendly.
Right down the street from home. Great beautiful course
Excellent par 3 course for beginners or for a quick outing
Great golf course in great shape. Lots of various areas to practice each part of your game. Affordable grees fees and 19th hole.
Comfortable bar and restaurant.
Played the par 3 course. It was great practice for approach shots and a lot of fun. Pace was nice and relaxed, not crowded, challenging greens if the ball doesn't land in the right spot. I'll be back for more.
This is by far my favorite course that is very affordable! I am always impressed on how well maintained the course is, it also has a beautiful scenery in the heart of Arvada. Love the course and definitley recommend it to anyone.
I went to a Bernie debate watch party at the club. I thought that Klobuchar stood out as failing hard, Biden gained a bit, Warren not shaking Bernie's hand afterwards was bizarre.
The prices are pretty good. The grounds are very well kept and the course is super fun. There's a driving range, putting green, and a chipping green. They even have a par 3 course. Only downside is the place is usually fairly busy and most 18 hole rounds play a little bit slowly.
Beautiful golf course, but our tournament was called due to sever lightning and heavy rain
Well maintained and great course. Only saw the drink cart once per 9
Gorgeous course, difficult, but beautiful. Quite a value
Glad the driving range was open on a winter day. They also had nice new pads with adjustable Tee's to hit off of.
I like Indian Tree because allow carts on the course on warmer winter days.
Also, their restaurant has tasty food and drink, especially draft beer, at very very reasonable prices.
Thought we were going to play 18 but we're done after the front 9, they gave us a voucher to come back anytime and finish. Liked the course a lot so far
Definitely agree that they overbook the course at times, but they maintain a good quality course. It's not the best in Arvada, but they have some great practice facilities and club house that always makes a round of 18 enjoyable.
Very nice course and reasonably priced. Greens (all but 1) in great shape. New carts (no GPS though). Did not try the restaurant. Well done!
Always plays well and is a fun course. Wish they accepted resident cards instead of Apex cards for discount. Be prepared for a lots of up and down if walking.
Beautiful course, challenging without being overly difficult. Can't wait for the par 3 to open back up so I can try that!
The course is beautiful with fast and true greens.
The service is amazing!
This is a Must Play!
Thank you!!!
Excellent golf course in Arvada. This course offers 18 regular holes, a 9 hole par 3 course, a driving range, a chipping range, and prwctoce greens. This course does an excellent job of maintaining their greens!
I really like this track. They keep it in good shape too.
Course is cheap and we'll groomed for a public course. Par 3, driving range, and a full 18. Not your typical flat Denver course, very well done. Lots of fun, but difficult. Grass driving range!
Edit 8/17/18: customer service was very disappointing from 2 male employees. I talk Indian tree up to everyone about how amazing the staff is, and then I take my friends here and got my first unpleasant experience. Great way to lose both old and new customers. Sad day.
Expensive for what you get: beat up fairways, chunky greens, and covered in goose poop. Unfortunately, the last one is hard to deal with. Cup placement is a bit ridiculous at times too. They'll put it at the apex of a green with falloff on every side. This isn't a PGA course; make it a bit more playable
One of my favorite courses for the price. Staff is friendly and course is always up to par.
Well groomed course, club house fare great finish to the day
The course is in great shape! Pleasantly surprised!
Great day of golf. Challenging course, nice layout!
One of the best courses in the northern metro area.
Great all around staff, conditions & reasonable cost.
Very well maintained..they're careful with the covid. Felt good to get out for the first time this year.
Played the par 3 with my son. Great place to learn! It does get crowded on weekends.
Fun inexpensive course. Good shape for a public course. Nice variety of holes. 2nd time I ve played it and pace of play both times was good. Greens had a lot of ball marks that weren t repaired but expected with a public course
We have playing Indian Tree for 20 + years and love it
No water was available on the golf course at any of the tee boxes and it was 98deg.
one of my favorite golfing spots! not snobby like some of the other courses I have frequented in the past.
People are nice, course is well watered but no puddles. Wonderful mountain views.
Mature and beautiful. Just need better signage pointing people to clubhouse
Delightful course in great condition, staffed by friendly folks. It's what a golf experience should always be!
The course is in amazing shape and great staff a definite must play ........
Golf course was great. But skip the dinner. I'm from MI where there isnt a bad golf course. The dinner was not great at all. It came in a basket!!! I've never ate at a golf course where food came in a basket. Very weird and not very good. Its like I was eating at a car navel. Also, if you want beer for your round, make sure you get there 30 minutes before your round. Its always slow, and there is only one bar tender. Recommend the golf, but not the circus food.
Definitely pros and cons. I'll probably play it again because it's close to where I live. But I do enjoy a few other courses more.
I chose this course because of the website and it is somewhat close to my house. The write up on the course and the superintendent made me think the course would be immaculate and play really well.
Overall...i wad disappointed. The fairways and tee boxes were rough and in need of lots of repair. Some things were being worked on - like cart paths and how they engage with the fairway...but tee boxes and fairways had many dry and bare patches. Sure...its spring...but other than aeration. There was no sign that the golf course was doing much. They weren't even outlined with paint to signify "ground under repair"
Overall there were two things that saved my rating from being lower.
First, it was a great day for golf. And any day you can get out is a good day.
Second was that we got bumped. I know... sounds crazy. We were running late due to traffic. I called to notify the shop of our ETA. While they were rather snippy on the phone (a negative) when we arrived, we had been placed in a later group...definate plus.
I have friends who have played here so I'm hoping my experience is due to spring golfing conditions.
This is a great vourse and beautiful lanscape design. One of the best rural golf courses in Metro area.
Why is the city owning golf courses? Not a very good use of public property. Turn it into a park and open it to the public (for free).
Very good Muni course. Pretty straight forward but you definitely get a good bang for the money you pay.
