Working with Shannon Mays was a breath of fresh air. It was a long journey, in search of my new home, but she was patience and understanding, throughout the entire process. She was very attentive to my needs. She truly listens and doesn't make you feel like you have to commit to a purchase you really don't want. Great personality a and a real straight shooter. Best Realtor I've worked with over these past four years, seriously, I think she's number six! Super love her to death and I recommend her services to ANY AND EVERYONE!

I had the displeasure of working with Atta Hussain. He is probably the worst agent ever. He was slow and very difficult to work with. He also never picks up the phone. He does not keeps his promises and scams people. For example, we had came upon an agreement that would both make us money after I had signed for a house. Instead, Atta Hussain took more money than promised and never gave me my full amount. I suggest you do not work with him because he is not trustworthy.

Doesn't respect the neighborhoods they buy properties in grass completely untended too while the property is up for lease, weeds growing several feet high when they're there at least once a week and well aware. Come on, it's Houston, lawn guys are practically beating doors down offering to do lawns front and back for $20 have some respect

I've been a Realtor for close to 15 years in Houston. I've worked with a small broker and with one of the largest franchises. I've been an agent at Champions going on four years. I don't have anything bad to say about the brokerage. They are there when I need them. My broker always either answers his phone or calls me back if he can't talk right away. You have to realize, there are over 1500 agents that have their license with this broker. The odds are not all the agents will have the same ability to service clients as others. This is true in any brokerage. I'm proud to be with Champions Real Estate Group and if you're a seasoned agent looking for a home, I would highly recommend that you talk with them.

I agree, the agent for the buyer of my home is on this team and she is very slow and appears to not even understand the law. We are in default of our contract now over a week and must think she is above the law. I just don't get it.

Tried to talk to Mr. Osorio Ignacio (Owner) about possible improvements with Champion's Google Reviews. He was very dry and rude.

Strongly would not recommend this company in regards to general hospitality.

My wife put in an application on a rent house, and 3 days later had still not heard for them. On the 4th day say say everything is good, but then increase the deposit for no reason. After contacting them again about this it takes 3 days for a simple response. After which they ask for a picture of our dog, weird but ok we send the pictures. 2 days later they ask for a picture of our family. Nope that was it, I don't know exactly is going on at this company but it's shady and weird. Judging from the other reviews that's just how they are. I would rather go homeless than ever use this company or anyone affiliated with them. So no I'm out money for the application because this company is just creepy and weird.

Thanks for wasting my time and money, I guess this is how they make their money!

There is something shady going on here...
From my experience their agents work slowly and only if you follow up consistently
If you are interested in becoming a realtor then try using them, you will get A LOT of practice and have to do most of the footwork and calling yourself anyways.

Only because I have to chose a star. As a professional broker for the past 17 years, I have never worked with such an unprofessional and unpleasant group of people before. I have been waiting on my commission check for the past four weeks and have received nothing but headaches from the check being misplaced to the paperwork not being correct. Nevermind that the closing was done in October and December is next week.

I am a REALTOR with Champions Real Estate Group and having seen some of the negative reviews about Champions Real Estate Group, I would like to say that not all agents or REALTORS are the same.

Now, maybe some of the people commenting, that had a bad experience with the company, received some bad service from some agent, doesn't mean that all agents are the same, and also please note that Champions has over 2000 agents under their brokerage. I, for instance pride myself on giving the best possible customer service and being a problem solver and offering an easy exit guarantee to all clients that work with me. That means that if any client is not completely satisfied with my service, they can get out of any contract they've signed with me and I offer that in writing.

Thank you!

My husband and I Leased a property from an agent for champions real estate and it s been a terrible experience. He represents the owner of the home but he will not return our calls for repairs most of the time. When he does he says someone is coming to do the repairs on such and such day but no one ever shows and repairs are never made. There is mold on the ceiling in one bathroom and it wreaks of mold. We have to have a plug-in in the room to kill the odor. Also, the water pressure is extremely low throughout the house. So low that the sprayer in kitchen sink will not stay on and water in the master shower will not drain because there isn t enough pressure to push it down the drain. It just settles in the back of the shower. We Never received a punch list, garage door opener and after 3 months we just received a back door key. BEWARE OF ANYONE WHO WORKS FOR CHAMPIONS REAL ESTAE GROUP!!! These are very shady people!!!

As a realtor, your job is to communicate to your seller/landlord in order to get a property sold. This company has the absolute most unprofessional realtors in Houston. I just spoke to a realtor, Stella Chibundu, about leasing a property to one of my clients, and she cut me off mid-conversation and was very rude. Never again will I ever suggest one of their properties to a client. The only reason why they're getting one star rating is because I could not post this without rating them. Otherwise, they'd have no stars.

Adriana Perez is the best! She helped us in the process of selling our first home and buying our second home! She knew what we were looking for and was able to find us the perfect new home! The whole process (selling and buying) was super smooth! I am very appreciative of her! Thank you Adriana!!

Broker promised and didn't deliver. My mom was selling her home and the realtor (a realtor in Champions Group) was handling the sell. The initial 'buyers' kept delaying and information was passed to the buyers without permission. The buyers defaulted on the contract but refused to release the earnest money (as required by the contract, in defense of Champions Group they did not know the buyers would be unethical). I spoke with Ignatio at Champions and he reassured me that he would speak to both realtors (they are both part of the group) and that he would send the Demand Letter to the defaulting buyers. He was very reassuring. He basically left a message for the buying realtor and then said he wouldn't send the demand letter. I still can't figure out why he told me he would send the letter when he seemed to really have no intention of it. My mom hired an attorney to handle the process. My issue is if you aren't going to follow through with something don't tell me you will.

Hello! I had an amazing experience working with Adriana Perez! Adriana helped my wife and I find a new home last summer and she is great! I've worked with several agents in my lifetime and I can say that she is top notch. Adriana is very knowledgeable, professional and great at communicating. She really went out of her way to make us happy and very comfortable to find the home that best fit for us! I definitely recommend her to anyone looking into buying or selling real estate. Five stars all around!!!!

Love Ignacio and his wife are awesome. They work super hard and it's a privilege to work here. The comments on here should be specific to the agents, not the company as we are all independent contractors. As an agent, I've recieved more support from this company than previous companies who were big name brokers. I have had many try and recruit me and I will not leave champions. They provide everything we need and more. Thank you for giving someone like me the chance to work with such a wonderful company !

Not a good experience at all, lack of professionalism and ethic. A realtor can't never tell a client " You can not sell a Dodge at the price of a BMW" . How can a sales person dares to tell a client that!!! My house is not a million dollar house, but neither a hut. Thank you Elena Q. And good luck with your next client. By the way , this has nothing to do with "Sentimental Attachment". As you said- this is about BUSINESS.

A year ago we hired this office to get us a tenant for a condo. They looked for us the worst person with 3 evictions, they charged us a month of rent of $ 1,050.00 plus $ 300.00 for a contract now we had to hire an attorney to evict the tenant owing 3 months of rent, we paid an attorney to filed the eviction order. Because of them we have lost around $ 5,000 dollars. They are not professionals.

Ashley, thank you for taking the time to write your review. I am sorry you feel this way. I have replayed my conversation with you on that faithful day. You had a couple of questions which I did respond to. You had a comment to which I responded "Do you have any more questions?" and I did not hear anything. At that point, I disconnected the call.
In life, we meet different people and they all have a purpose they are sent to us. I thank God I met you.
Have a prosperous career.

Hi Steve,
Thank you for taking the time to write your review. I am sorry you feel this way. When you sent your request "offer $1100/month ........", I did respond by email (as that was the best mode of communication from where I was) that the property was listed for $1250 and $1100 was not acceptable by the landlord. When the appointment was scheduled for showing, I was under the opinion that you got the email and still decided to view the property.
I am sorry if there was a miscommunication.
I did refund your $47 as you requested.
Hope you got it.
Thank you for your business.

They need ZERO STARS!! The Realtor/Owner: Zhong C (Patrick) Zhang is VERY UNPROFESSIONAL... We trusted him since we were coming from another state .. we was told that the house was in very good condition and trusted the pictures he posted in the HAR website.. On the day we got there , the house was totally in horrible shape. The kitchen counter and bathroom counter tops was falling and wopped (appeared to be a flooded house). They tried to paint over the rotted baseboards with paint. You touch the baseboards and they fall apart. Mold on the ceiling. He agreed to replace all cabinets and countertops but took over 2 wks to even come by to start. I didn't have a kitchen sink for 4 days!!! Also agreed to repair other items in the home that's still not fixed yet. When the maintenance man did come in he damaged walls or didn't even bother to paint the back wall or fix the damages caused by ripping out the cabinets... His repair of the ceiling was by just putting a TRASH BAG in the closet?? My back door doesnt lock...I have a hole in the kitchen wall near the baseboards that lead to the outside....rotted . I have a hot wire under my sink and have running water coming from the brand new pipe.. water all under the sink.. I m afraid I will get electrocuted ... We no longer use the sink just in case ... I wash my dishes in the bathroom. .He has threatened me that if I withhold partial rent to fix the other items... that he will evict me the 1st day of missed rent.:Its now over 2 1/2 months and he has still not came in to fix the other items and is ignoring my emails and messages....This week I ve filed a lawsuit... hopefully I get some justice .. DO NOT USE HIM AS YOUR REALTOR!!

Horrible experience trying to buy a property from this real estate group. Specifically a girl named Angelina Le. She and her seller ACCEPTED my offer I was so thrilled and excited to be in my new home. Then she had us sign the contract and then accepted the contract and held it HOSTAGE and left us without communication for nearly a week RIGHT AFTER getting all my signatures. We tried multiple times to get in contact with her. No answer no response. Then she contacts my agent a week later to tell her someone else had a better offer after the fact. If this is how they do business and they hire UNPROFESSIONAL people as ms. Le you guys should be out of business. I hope I never come across her again because it was truly a disappointment to ever had dealings with her.

terrible agents, Sandra woodard listing a property that she owns without disclosing the information. lied to her broker Adriana who BOTH are non professional. Loud music and tv playing in background while yelling and accusing client when there was no such thing. I thought Sandra was unprofessional, her broker champions Adriana is even worse. takes the side of her agent and her lies and accuses my clients of false information when everything is in writing clean and clear. then when confronted adriana immediately says she doesnt know, the exact same "i dont know" that sandra used when confronted on a lie she was playing. I really wonder how these 2 even got their licenses, how they can get any sales with their attitude and lies. There is ZERO ethics with this group. Zero professionalism, Zero respect of any kind. Right when adriana picked up the phone she was utterly rude, already accused the client of wrong doing before even knowing what happened. its very unfortunate that the agent owns the property while playing the game that she has to present it to the owners.

In response to Cecilia Diaz comment below. When a...

In response to Cecilia Diaz comment below. When a house floods twice, and the rehabbing is not done in similar or better fashion than the other houses for sale in the same neighborhood ( Robindell ) It affects the price. Real Estate prices are set based on the market conditions for the area. When there are too many houses for sale on the same street, and very little interest from buyers to buy in the area, the market shift - which means that the house prices go down. When a seller decides to ignore the Comparative Market Analysis for the area , and don't take the comments from guests at the open house seriously on property condition to do the right improvements, or comments from other Realtors in regards to appraisal - then the seller is being unrealistic.
On your comment criticizing my performance as a Realtor, you failed to mention that the house has been listed with two different real estate companies, and two different Realtors. Also that there were 3 open houses, an offer to purchase your house at a very realistic price , and two Realtors who backed up on making offers on behalf of their clients after finding out that the house flooded twice after reading the sellers disclosure.
Was it unethical to speak with the truth about your house condition when compared to other properties? Was it unethical to disclose the age of the kitchen cabinets, and report how old was the AC unit? Was it unethical to ask of you to turn on all the utilities for the open house? Was it unethical to provide you with comparable in the area and explain the appraisal process for buyers wanting to buy your property with a bank loan? - Was it unethical to talk about the lack of a dishwasher in the kitchen? Was an unethical to transmit the comments from showings in regards to the 3 types of tiles in the house? There was not unethical behavior on my part.
The use of a car trading example is justifiable when the property in question is being advertised at an overpriced value, and when the so call improvements dont meet the buyers expectations, or the seller cant understand the real estate market. If you want a Realtor to lie in order to gain your business , then I proudly say that I am the wrong agent to represent you!

Absolute WORST service EVER. Dealt with Gladys Wang who thought she was VERA WANG. Horrible ATTITUDE. Her co-agent Lisa Lee was also completely oblivious to following instructions or handling applications in a timely manner. Gladys is rude, could not hold a conversation regarding the property and frankly couldn't have cared less. I requested a 2br with a budget of 1800$ a month. All I asked for was for it to be safe and in a nice area. The condo that the agent (his name is Afam) got me into seemed nice at first. However the area was not safe at all. Both roommates cars parked in the designated parking area had their cars broken into, and then one of their cars got stolen completely. They are after the bottom line, if you do end up going here, avoid Afam.

I have been very pleased with Champions Real Estate Group! I'm not to sure why the other reviews bash Champions so much. I was working with a gentleman named Paul and he was fantastic! My work schedule makes it very difficult for me to make it to there office so Paul actually came to me so I could pay the application fee's and what not.
He's also great with follow up, he'll text you if he can't get a hold of you via telephone which I think is awesome and his customer service was awesome. I recommend Champions to anyone who needs a rental property or buying a property.

Vicki Looney - I do not recommend this particular agent. She was the agent for the buyer of my home but, in my opinion, failed to explain important details to the buyer prior to closing which caused confusion after closing. After closing she refused to communicate with the buyer any further to clarify important points that should have been made clear before closing. She certainly did not go the extra mile to assist in a smooth transition all the way to the end.

One of the most unprofessional agents I have ever witnessed before. Unfortunately my mother had given them responsibility of selling our estate of which the basics could not be done, overpriced the property (to gain a bigger commission) and was still unable to deliver on a sale. As a result had to find a more suitable agent which led to this particular agent to send insults rather than accepting that they unperformed. BEWARE of this real estate group and use your money on agents that actually provide results.

I worked there for 28 days. Champions NEVER returned my emails or phone calls when I was there to ask questions about the 4 transactions I closed. They also make all agents have their clients signs forms that protect Champion's liability, but do nothing for the client, especially the buyers who are multiple buyers and know they need to get an inspection, and know about radon, lead, environmental issues, etc. Their training is very limited. You can never get a hold of the broker or the broker assistant for specific advice. I was told to wait 4 days for an answer to my transaction, and I still didn't get an answer. It takes almost a week to get paid from the rental transactions. Finally, I'm applying for my broker license and Champions has not responded to my 5 attempts to get them to sign that I closed 2 transactions when I was with them. My 28 days were a waste of tim, and but iI saw how a real estate company can make huge amounts of money while offering their clients and real estate agents limited expertise, and that's scary for both clients and agents.

Elena Q. With Champions Real Estate Group was a great partner and advisor in the process of rebuilding our house after it was flooded during Hurricane Harvey. She gave us excellent advice on what to do and what not to do during this process to accomplish the goal of selling our house without issues always trusting reliable contractors and keeping a record of every step of this process (professional water restoration process, licensed and qualified electricians and plumbers, trusted contractors and even suggested paint colors ) . Once our house was completely rebuilt following her guidelines she carefully inspected every inch of the house, analyzed houses for sale in our area and suggested the market sales price to put our house on the market, we were really amazed by the results: more walk ins and offers than we could ever imagine in just ONE day on the market, we even had to decline receiving offers and stop showing the house by the second day. Thanks to Elena our house was sold after being just ONE day in the market and for a very fair price, we even sold it for $5,000 over the asking price.
We were so happy with Elena that we decided to trust her with helping us buying a new home, after visiting her suggested properties we found our perfect new home...we absolutely couldn't be happier.

Thanks Elena Q.

Unfortunately I had a very poor experience while dealing with a Agent with this company. The Agent had a house listed that my client submitted an offer. We were told that there were multiple offers and everyone should submit their "highest and best" by a certain date and time. I was told that my client's offer was not accepted by the Seller but coincidentally the Buyer whose offer was accepted was represented by the same Agent that listed the home. I reported this to the Broker who admitted it was a conflict and would call me back and I have not heard back from him. To me this was a very unethical and shady deal...
