Very beautiful place. From the outside ... The interior needs to be modernized and renovated, in order to eliminate wear and tear. Clean room for us. Two bed instead of a double bed not necessarily top cons ... Otherwise the staff very well except at the restaurant. And the balneotherapy area a bit small and poorly explained.

This is the 5th time that we have come and we were surprisingly a little disappointed. We got the room a bit late, the bedspread was dirty, a dirty towel
also stood under the sink. Not having water in the room (which we usually have) we called the reception which is not nearby and they said we had to move. And all this in a prestige room. . . We found that really weird given that we are always well received. The thalgo center great nothing to say.

Very nice domain, just a pity that it is not maintained. The rooms are large enough but some renovation is needed here and there. We wanted to book a massage but everything was already fully booked, too bad that the hotel guests (we were there 3 days) did not first get the question or priority for this. It is advertised as a wellness hotel but we were not allowed to experience much wellness, the sauna complex turned out to have to be paid extra and was also overcrowded so only being able to use the indoor swimming pool. Too bad, had expected a bit more for so much money!

TO AVOID !!!! Unsanitary baths. Mold in old cabins. Mold over the pool and smelly odors. Rusty massage tables. A star for the room and breakfast BUT DOES NOT ABSOLUTELY CORRESPOND TO A 4 * !!!!

The location is very quiet but the rooms are very old. The air conditioning was broken. The hotel is not very clean either, but this may be normal in Belgium. The best part of the hotel was the food.

Average business hotel, rooms are dated as indeed is the overall look of the hotel, room service menu limited.

Not easy to express so I will do it in several steps.
Reception: Nothing to say, perfect for a 4 star
The rooms: Overall very clean. But bar fridge which has been used but functional and above all empty sic.Tv flat screen ok but poor picture quality. Very clean bathroom but shower head that does not hold and tub shower system which has had its day. Overall the bedrooms should be refreshed. We feel that they have lived.
The hotel: We notice a lot of dilapidation, traces of significant humidity in the ceilings. In some places completely refresh. In some toilets there is no more paper for wiping hands and some urinals that are out of service with a garbage bag around them. In short, a major repair should be done because for a 4 star it is not worthy.
The bar: A bit dated but quiet places. Significant trace of humidity on the wall. We notice that the place has lived and that it needs a makeover. During our stay electronic cash register broken down. So no possibility of payment by card .... pity
The restaurant: Well very good and a perfect service at your service. The perfect wine list with correct prices. The small downside of cobwebs in some mood lamps on the tables. Not very cool for a recognized restaurant with a certain price.
Breakfast: On the whole correct, not extravagant. But spiders in the corners of walls ..... Po very cool for those who are afraid of them.
Thalasso treatments: Well for my part, I was delighted. A big thank you to the staff for your attentions.
The Talasso space: Ouch. This is the point that annoys and agrees with many opinions. Turret above the completely screwed pool. It's raining inside. Part of the ceiling around it no longer exists and traces of significant mold around it. The ceiling around the pool peels off and is cool. Some hydrojets in the pool are no longer working. Some are out of service. The Jacuzzi is in a very advanced state of operation, controlling this dilapidated one. Less ceiling pieces too. The hammam. We notice a lot of cracks and less piece of wall. The protective covers for the steam jets are rickety. The lighting is not functional completely lamps are ruined. The changing cabins have had their day they are dilapidated and really prefabricated.
In short, if I had to judge the whole thalassotherapy fair, well that would only deserve one star because it is absolutely necessary to refresh and renovate the space. But there are also positive points and therefore logically I put 3 stars but that is not worth the rating of a 4 star hotel. I admit that if the hygiene goes for a walk there, not sure that it can still open.

What a desappointment!!!!
We were in room 305 from Saturday 11th to Sunday 12th November.
When we arrived, the mini bar was not working. Either we are not the type to complain so we do without.
Late in the evening when we come back from the restaurant, we decide to take a shower.
Surprise ... No hot water at all !!!! Too late to notify reception so we notify them the next day.
All the young man managed to tell us is: It will be a total of 12 for the cost of the stay and the rental of bathrobes.
Do you find it normal for a 4 star hotel that there is NO apology or NO gesture? While there was no hot water, the mini bar did not work, not to mention the horrible (coffee?) Stains on the ceiling and the curtains.
We loved the SPA, which I had been to before and was not disappointed, but the hotel was a first and it was downright mediocre.

Cozy and charming Norman style building. Friendly welcome and clear explanation. It is best to reserve a restaurant for the evening at check-in. We had a room in club300. The rooms are modern (not new) but in keeping with the rustic style of the building. However, the toilet in the bathroom could be a bit cleaner. The garden and adjacent forest offer an oasis of peace. (The 3.7 km hike is highly recommended, starting at the start of the trail 1 km from the hotel). The food was very tasty at an average of 28 for a main course. The spa was very relaxing, but the changing rooms could do with an update.

Friendly! Not too busy on Thursdays. Only B mole ... not always very clean. But I recommend the 3 hours for a perfect relaxation!

Very nice place but it would take a quick decision to sell or re-inject a few million not to see this beautiful place disappear. The staff, the care, the meal nothing to say against for real estate there is work. Thanks to the staff who have not left the ship yet.

Unbelievable what I have experienced with this hotel. A room reserved through Hotelspecials and upon arrival the hotel appeared ... closed !! Apparently this was a decision that the management had taken at the last minute without notifying their hotel guests. An outright shame! Fortunately, Hotelspecials offered a more than equivalent alternative in the neighborhood.

Not at all warm welcome; change of room impose on arrival (going from prestige to classic) we are informed on the first day of a boiler problem. That we will not have access to the jacuzzi or to one of the two swimming pools!
Room with disgusting smell old decor problem of water jet for the bathtub. No remote control the staff didn't know how this was possible. Too bad the hotel could have potential. But at the moment it is not worth 4 stars everything needs to be redone the premises are in some places moldy. The breakfast is really limited we had the right to an outdated croissant is this normal? I would not recommend it to anyone very disappointed with our stay. The opening hours of the bar very amaze that it closes as early as maximum 10pm. Disappointing apart from the rather comfortable bedding otherwise the rest leaves something to be desired. I will not come back .

Castle, certainly ... but old !!
We stayed here for one night in early November 2016.
Beautiful exterior decor but old-fashioned interior: carpet on the floor everywhere but with large stains, hair in the pool, blood stains on the bed sheets, ... Compulsory breakfast (20 ) is not worth it at all: apart from the fresh orange juice and scrambled eggs, everything else is presented in small industrial pots. No cold cuts or salmon.
A real labyrinth to get to the bedrooms: narrow corridors, stairs to go up and then down, go through the backstage of the kitchens (with smells as a bonus), ... a real headache!
A balneotherapy center, of course, but not the largest in Wallonia, as heard in the hotel's advertising program.
Decent sized rooms with decent bathroom.
Positive points: good gastronomy at the castle restaurant, beautiful exterior setting!

The outside of the hotel and the bar are nice. The rooms are really old and in need of a renovation. The atmosphere in the restaurant is nice, however the service is substandard...

Unhealthy spa, mildew packs that threaten to fall into the main pool. Smelly odors near the bubble bath. Painted paintings. Half of the jets in the pool no longer work. All for 20 euros per person! Shameful!

Dear Chateau Limelette, spent last weekend with you and everything was to your liking. Environment and room wonderfully rustic and staff extremely attentive full. Chateau Limelette was not new to me, I was allowed to stay here once in 1998/1999 for a meeting of the Brussels firm Orbotech. In a one-liner "Chateau Limelette = Chapeau".

Abandoned, the hotel no longer maintains its exteriors that have a great potential. He takes care of the reception, and afterwards it is disappointment on disappointment. Scandalous room for a hotel called "4 stars", with a EMPTY minibar that is next to the bed and makes noise unnecessarily all night (can not remove the plug, in addition), two broken bulbs, no lock the door or 'do not disturb' card. The breakfast was ridiculous, poor buffet, bread rolls, nothing too fine. The staff who served us in the morning was in jeans / sweet hoodie ...

We like a lot of the staff, but, the environment, the rooms, nothing makes us want to go back. Do beauticians also work outdoors?

- Outside area clean, but very neglected / run down, mold in the spa area, pool water very cool,
- Breakfast and facilities ok, but for a 4-star hotel and the corresponding room prices you can expect more

A flat for the restaurant: the service and the quality of the dishes served to be desired

Hotel aged, patched up by place, soft mattress, a real pothole and pillows too big, hello back pain in the morning ... In the spa, 2 out of 3 lockers took the chip but did not give the key. We had to go out of the spa in jersey to ask for help at the reception and we were not the only ones with this problem .. Arrived at the spa, it was overcapacity. No place in the hammam or the jacuzzi and crowded pool ... The prices at the bar and restaurant are very high. The wifi in the room is not free and costs 10eur per hour knowing that the 4G coverage is very low, one wonders if it is not taking customers for slot machines. Breakfast little varied, not up to a 4-star.

For the Spa: Nice place and nice setting for a very reasonable price. However, I find that a slight refresh is expected because a little dull.

OK overall but not exceptional. Rooms a little outdated but warm. Spa facilities a little limited but pleasant if not too crowded. Expensive restaurant for the quality of the dishes.

We have just returned from a short stay from 27th to 28th of september 2016 in room 505, but our disappointment is great, the property as a whole no longer deserves 4 stars. The spa was crowded, a lot of noise, impossible to relax, the room very big but nothing more. A fridge that does not work, a wobbly stand-up lamp, curtains filled with stains, the shower curtain that soaks in the bottom of the bathtub ... hence the dirt on the bottom of the bathtub ..not hygienic at all and as not many customers take an old fashioned bedding. What about the terrace and furniture on this terrace. We have a view of the tennis court ... more maintained .. foam on the ground and net in poor condition.
And to top it all the evening meal at the restaurant, very average for 40 on ... except maybe the presentation of dishes. Do not talk about the service, not a thank you, not a s p, we did not even ask if we wanted wine .... a brasserie meal, with frozen french fries ...
Advice for the landlord is urgent, without some actions and investments, your institution will have sunk within two years.

Quiet place to relax. The access to the thermal baths is included if one lodges on the spot. On some dates the price of the rooms is very interesting and the breakfast buffet is irresistible! The restaurant of the hotel is also a quiet and relaxing place where you eat very well. I recommend!

I booked at the Chateau de Limelette to offer my wife a romantic weekend, I had asked for a bottle of champagne in the room ...
On arrival, while my arms are loaded, unloading, the receptionist rather than giving me a hand asks me to move my car ...
The bottle was there, hot, we waited an hour to get an ice bucket.
Nothing very serious, but it breaks and annoys the moment.
The staff you meet don't say hello, not a smile, nothing.
I'm used to a little more consideration and politeness
For dinner, nothing to say, we ate well, drank well for a reasonable price.
At breakfast, the staff remains to watch the room without moving, we do not even bring your drink to the table. Orange juice is a bad canned juice, the cheese served is "babibel" ...
A contrast with the motto of the place "La passion du Service" ...

The REAL CATASTROPHE is the installations of another time, both in the spa (hygiene) and in the rooms, the corridors, everything seems to be falling into disrepair ... visible electric wires, water infiltration everywhere, paintings in the disgusting corridors, the carpets ... and so on and the best ...
The most laughable (because in the end it makes you laugh) are the bathrobes and towels in the spa which have not had to be changed for thirty years ...

Bedding, furniture, wallpapers that have had their day ...

This is absolutely not worthy of the four stars displayed ...

The management seems to really abandon this place both in terms of work and management ...

Really basic lunch, bad TV quality, free Wi-Fi but unstable, inaccessible by public transports, big room and huge bathroom, the big swimming pool is a good point

The restaurant is especially recommended. Rooms are in need of a makeover.
