A space to change your point of view and to relax. For a student, it is very easy to access (since it's free for -26 years ). However, some exhibition remains a puzzle according to the artist ... even for a student in art.

Beautiful contemporary architecture, leaving a beautiful place to a wood structure. Worth the detour. I was less seduced by the expos.
I really liked the way the works are organized and echoed, as well as the brief but instructive explanatory notes. The airy and clear spaces allow you to appreciate the sculptures at their fair value and to circulate without constraint even when there are many visitors. I regretted that there were not more galleries open during my visit but the price is adjusted accordingly.
Bad. Very disappointed is the quality of the works and the architecture of the building that leaves an interior space your damn bad and unheated hall.

If only for the place and the neighborhood (a brand new shopping district around the museum). It is very nice and informative to follow the temporary exhibitions, I saw a fascinating about couples painters and artists.

The second and third floor were closed and we have not been told this at the entrance - I would suggest to ask in advance as it is not worth it to pay 12.00 to see only half of it.
The restaurant was closed as well even though before going there we Googled it to check if we can have a coffee there.
Beautiful building. 4 main galleries. one had an interesting exhibit, one was closed to build an new exhibit. There other 2 were used for one exhibit that did not interest me personally. Very low entrance fee, very nice but expensive restaurant. Gift shop was ok.

The art that cannot be understood is modern art. The exhibition hall is not big, there are not many.

Too bad there is no more turnover of temporary exhibitions
It's hard to review this gallery because the exhibits are all temporary. I can say that when we went all the exhibits were quite disappointing and didn't even really fall under the "modern-art" category. Additionally one of the floors was closed so we had even less to see. Nonetheless, it's a really beautiful building and art is subjective. I'd recommend going, but check the website to see what exhibits they have first.
The place is magnificent, and the only building, designed by Shigeru Ban and Jean de Gastines, is worth the detour.
It is better, however, to find out about the theme and the calendar of exhibitions before going there. During the last months of each exhibition, one or even two galleries are no longer accessible for the visit.
