Super exhibition on Rebecca Horn. The cartels explain the works very well, which is not the case in many museums. No complaints.

Beautiful building, original exhibitions. Too bad the place is not fully used. There was only 2 expo during our visit. I advise to watch before going there.

Modern art museum just by the train station in Metz, showing exhibitions selected from the Pompidou's collection, housed in a fantastic modern building. One entry fee grants access to all the current exhibitions, so you can dip in and out as you see fit.

As this is a provincial offshoot of the main museum in Paris, there's no permanent collection and the enjoyment you'll take from visiting will depend on the temporary exhibitions taking place. I'm not a huge fan of modern art, but always find something interesting while visiting. The building itself is very beautiful and well worth a visit, even if not into modern art. Tickets are free for those lucky enough to be under 26 and range from 7 to 12 for others depending on how many exhibits are open. If living in the area, get an annual ticket for 37 valid for two persons.

A magnificent museum which is worth a detour when you are passing through Metz. Whether to admire the superb architecture of the roof or to visit the exhibitions.
Do not hesitate to ask for information from the people monitoring the exhibitions who will not hesitate to give you more details about the works on display.
Do not miss on the third level the superb trompe l'oeil formed by the curved glass directed towards the cathedral which gives us the impression of seeing the cathedral from very close, astonishing and surprising!

Spacious and pleasant museum, interesting works, my teenagers aged 13, 14, 17 and 19 enjoy regularly discovering new exhibitions there, so much so that I ended up taking the M pass

Very nice museum both by its beautiful intertwined wooden frame that welcomes you on the square that by the proposed exhibitions.

Very interesting museum. Exhibition on the basement is fantastic. Only the exhibition on the third floor has no viewable concept. Pictures of artists like Picasso are mixed with african art without any link (we weren't able to find the missing link...). Btw: Building is extraordinary and the people working at the museum were very friendly. Disadvantage is that there is no possibility for handicapped people to park their car next to the museum. That's very sad for such a museum.

Excellent expo on "The painting at night" I urge you to take a guide, it can capture all the subtleties very interesting works on display and it does not cost very much. We went out delighted!

It is an impressive building in its sweeping architecture. We chose the current exhibition on three levels and were not disappointed. The exhibitions were arranged with love. Even the children (5, 8) liked it very much.

I lived in Metz at the opening of the Center Pompidou so I had the pleasure of going there many times during the first months. Since my move a few years ago I had not returned so I did not hesitate to come to discover the new exhibitions during my stay in Metz for a weekend. The place is always beautiful, the exhibitions are always very interesting and the surroundings of the center have really energized the city center with a new gigantic shopping center.
