Very impressive, exciting architecture and exciting exhibitions.

I had booked a stay in the Metz region before confinement with the aim of visiting the museum. In the meantime, I broke my foot and still wanted to respect my visit program. My situation is complicated from time to time, but when I think of the elderly with motor problems and the disabled, I find it shocking the lack of seats in most of the museum's rooms. The "folklore" exhibition was interesting but I couldn't see the latest rooms Likewise when there is a video (except dancing) nothing is planned to watch it. My disappointment is tinged with anger ...........

Pompidou is always Pompidou. Aesthetically and architecturally it is always gorgeous. I must admit that the internal exhibition disappointed me, not so much for the quality but for the number of works. Of three floors available, only one was open (the ground floor) and only a part of it could be visited. Let's say that turning calmly in half an hour ours was over. If you want to go and visit it, I advise you before you get well informed about the exhibition program.

A spectacular place worth visiting with contemporary exhibitions. Very nice view of the cathedral of Metz, as well as the most beautiful station France.

You will love the exhibitions as much as the building itself!
Take advantage of your visit to go out on the terraces and admire the buildings from the inside.
There is also a small brasserie on the ground floor, which serves good homemade dishes for a more than fair price.

I find it a great MUSEUM but for us citizens I find expensive 25 per adult so often x 2 plus paying parking in the area is expensive but it's worth it

Impressive building especially outside with a mega wooden sail .. Beautiful. Inside expos in 2 to 4 spaces. Bar and restaurant also present in the museum.
All close to the station and in a metamorphosed cartier.
Too bad the terrace on the 3rd floor is not more arranged. D on top we also realize the volume not used under the vault ..

I found the museum to have exactly the wrong mix of pretentious and bizarre. All of the abstractness of overfunded modern art with none of its potential for reflection.

The city was freezing cold when we visited, and the Center was a safe haven! The Japanese exhibition was an interesting walkthrough at a reasonable price.

Frankly something that I'm not interested in saving is worth something else there has visited Metz more beautiful

Modern designed building which constrasts with the surrounds. Unusual interior space which is divided over several levels. Events include modern art exhibits, art-related activities for children (typically by reservation), exhibition visits and screenings. Various entry-ticket options including. Gift shop. Toilets. Elevators to all levels. Near large shopping centre and restaurants.

A museum of this size closes at 18:00, welcome not the warmest, we agree to make you pay 12 for 30 minutes of visit, for the unemployed come with all your proof, we question your status, what can it do well? serve me "culture" if you do not look like normal visitor, at best a student of the fine arts, gap between the content, the container and those who work there, can do much better for the accessibility of works for people with reduced mobility, we do not force people to take off their shoes to reach an interactive work that is no longer active, that the gallery staff can guide us and enlighten us even succinctly on the topics addressed ......

You have to choose your exhibitions otherwise the place is very nice with the edges of the Seille. .. and the stores of the Muse. ...

A beautiful museum, the architecture of the place is worth, in itself, the detour. There are many interesting temporary exhibitions. Transparent elevators are a real attraction. At the top there is a terrace overlooking the large entrance hall. Opportunity to make beautiful walks near the museum on a path that crosses beautiful lawns. An ideal place for family visits, to do and redo!

This museum invites to stroll, to daydream, time for an artistic break! While our daughter was at her young audience workshop. the rest of the family was seeing the exhibition of the moment! Nice idea of Sunday morning release!

I had the chance to see Mr LEE UFAN's exhibition at the Pompidou Center ... a happiness! I love the brightness of the paintings and the minimalism of the sculptures ... I was also to see the exhibition of MMe HORN Rebecca ... his work is more disturbing and more questioning for me and I had more trouble to appreciate ... But culture is that too!
For 10 euros I stayed more than 3 hours in a beautiful museum very clear very spacious.
