I am very claustrophobic and was so pleased to have my exam here. The staff was so wonderful in helping me feel that I was the most important patient, and telling me what was going to happen every step of the way.. The tech was so helpful and kind.
I will have any future imaging done here and will tell all my family and friends.

My wife had an open MRI here and had a great experience. Her tech was Sig and he was very informative about the process and the images that resulted. Her appointment was on time and efficient.
I was scheduled for an arthrogram of my knee. I was well taken care of....toured the facilities. Efficient staff, and got my results right away. Nice to know after two years, it wasn't in my head. Also got my first cortisone injection, and knee has felt great since. I would definitely recommend this imaging center to other practitioners. This place is Doctor Approved.

I had an MRI today and Sig was the technician who took care of me and did the procedure. He was excellent - very helpful, caring, professional and efficient. It went much more smoothly than I feared and even with the incessantly loud noise, I was relatively relaxed. I highly recommend Open Advanced MRI and Sig if you need an MRI.
I couldn't have been more pleased with not only Jennifer and Kaira at the front desk who, initially, put my mind at ease with their competence, willingness to answer any questions I had and their professional demeanor which put my mind at ease. Upon my arrival, their surroundings were bright, cheery and comfortable. When called in by my technician Tim Sanford (I apologize if I misspelled his last name) he welcomed me to see the MRI and how it would operate and explained how it would function. I couldn't have been more comfortable and felt as though I was part of the family. I would highly recommend Open Advanced MRI NW in Tigard to anyone. They are a first class A number one team! Yes they are really nice, but I give one start because it takes more than a week to get the results (it might takes more since I am still waiting). They said that the doctor would get the results after 2 working days (three working days maximum), after a week there was no results (we had to call to get them fax and never got them during the hour I was stuck at my doctor office for nothing). I also asked to get a copy of my MRI by snail mail and never get it. I still do not know what is my problem.
So yes nice place to do an MRI, they also answer the phone, but if you are in pain and want to know what is your problem do not go there.
I had an arthro last week on my right thumb. I get a call stating that you need additional views . Number 1 , we live in Welches, Number 2 , I pre med myself, I need my husband to drive me. Number 3 , My husband works at the VA as a CT tech , he cannot take anymore time off and I have no once else to drive me to Tigard for this.
I already paid 200 of my deductible for this and now you didn't get what you need ? This is unreal , I trusted that you knew what to do, and now all this time and money spent and I have to come back. You need to figure out how I can get recompensated for this.

My mother was visiting us from Canada. She has been suffering from a lower back pain, radiating down her leg, for a while. It was very hard for her to get a diagnosis, and more importantly, some pain relief in Canada. She was passed around from one doctor to another with long waits in between appointments and no results. I have heard of interventional radiology before and how it could work wonders and wanted to try this option to help my mom with her debilitating pain. We made an appointment. She had an MRI followed by a local steroid injection treatment the same day. She has noticed a tremendous improvement in a very short period of time. Within 2 days she was able to move around much better and her pain was completely gone. It was very impressive. She was very happy with her results and very grateful that the procedure had such a dramatic effect. Thank you so much dr. Larhs!

Office staff is very friendly and all work together to ensure a smooth and easy process. The tech is knowledgeable and answers any questions you may have about the exam.
I have seen Dr Larhs for an acute lower back pain that left me incapacitated (not able to bend my back). He performed a highly skilled CAT scan guided injection with steroids in my lower back that was absolutely flawless!! Once I left the office my back was 90% normal, which I found to be quite remarkable given the pain I came in...
Being a physician myself, and quite aware of his exceptional credentials and experience, I found the entire office experience to be extremely smooth and professional.

This place is a SCAM! They quote you one price then bill you thousands later. They wont admit fault and will send you to collections. After paying $1000 for an MRi they billed me again.

THEY ARE VERY AT FAULT FOR MY EXPERIENCE AND KNEW I WAS UNDER THE IMPRESSION THIS WOULD BE DONE WHILE I WAS OUT, I BROUGHT IT UP FROM MY VERY FIRST CALL. I DON'T CARE WHAT MY MRI REFERRAL SAID, I CARE WHAT I SAID MULTIPLE TIMES BEFORE THE APPOINTMENT. I NEVER SAW A DR TO MONITOR MY SEDATION MEDICATION. I DON'T GET THE RESPONSE ABOUT THE MRI MACHINE BUT YOUR NECK IS LOCKED INSIDE A BRACE AND PILLOWS ARE PACKED AROUND THE EDGES, BOTTOM LINE IS ITS NEVER OPEN FOR THE HEAD! SINCE I WAS TOLD BY A VERY GOOD DR THIS PLACE IS AWFUL, I KNOW I'M NOT ALONE. SAD THING IS THEY BILLED $1769 TO MY INSURANCE AS OF A BILL I GOT YESTERDAY FOR ABSOLUTELY NOTHING AND THEY WILL GET AWAY WITH IT. THEY KNOW THAT TOO! I ONLY HAVE X AMOUNT OF MONEY UNDER MY ACCIDENT AND IT'S EXTREMELY HEARTBREAKING A PORTION OF WHAT I NEED FOR TREATMENT WENT TO THESE SCAMMERS.
1000% stay clear of this place! I was referred here to have an MRI under iv sedation. I kept asking should I eat before I come, etc. I even asked again. I was so confused.
They kept hounding me to find out how much money I had left on my PIP. Since my accident I ve never run into a medical provider demanding that info. So far everyone has done all the work to verify what they need before I come. They actually went as far as saying they couldn t proceed without it. I told them this was something that seriously should have been dealt with before I came. It was like set me up for a scam right off. I called my insurance while there because they were not giving up and my handler told me they did not need that info in a very stern voice and to have them send them a bill. Then they kept demanding our private insurance- even when I went back they kept hounding my husband. This was a car accident claim, my primary insurance had nothing to do with it.
Once back I was still under the impression I would be out. Found it odd I had to sit in a tiny room in a chair with magazines from years ago. Then they gave me a few options of liquid sedation. One I knew specifically didn t work for me because I had it for flying before. Did nothing. They gave it to me anyways- I should have refused. Why didn t they try the other? I got an instant wave of sleepiness and then my heart started racing and anxiety got worse. They had me lay down to try.
THERE IS NOTHING EVER OPEN ABOUT AN MRI OF YOUR HEAD- the machine could be invisible but they still put a brace over your neck and shove pillows between the gaps. Then you go under a board so it s like your head is in a closed box and locked it. The tech tried to give me ear plugs and a mask. He told me a story about being stuck in a cave as a kid - he said it helped him to be blind folded to get through it. My heart is racing just thinking about it. I told him to stop. That is the last story you tell a very claustrophobic person clearly having an anxiety attack before an mri. I have whiplash and neck pain- the medicine they gave me caused all my pain to intensify. I finally said I couldn t do it.
First of all they knew I was under the impression this was IV sedation but chose to ignore it. BUT to top it off they billed my PIP for $1500! I ve reported this to my insurance company as fraud. Their cancellation fee wasn t even that high. I can see being charged for the medication and a brief consultation and that s it. This place is a complete and total scam.
My new specialist just today told me this place is awful and he never sends anyone there. My previous referral didn t know. He sent me there for IV sedation. He knows know!
This place is incredibly unprofessional and complete insurance fraud scammers. Absolutely no care for humans or understanding of claustrophobia! If you are in pain and are extremely claustrophobic and your pain has created more anxiety make sure to have your MRI done by professionals in a hospital. BUT seriously just don t go here at all for anything EVER!
Evita and her staff made a hardly bearable procedure virtually painless. The professionalism, kindness, attention to your needs, and attention to your comfort were their top concerns. Also the open MRI was such a great comfort to me, I could have never endured this procedure in the traditional "tube".
It was a pleasant experience. The staff and the tehnician who performed the scanning were very professional. It was faster than I thought, and by the time I know it, I was already done! No Anxiety at all. The machine was pretty open unlike the ones in Tigard or Tanasbourne Imaging Clinic.

I was claustrophobic and they we're patient and kind.
My wife got an MRI done here. We we're allowed to go in the room and hold her hand while the machine was running. This was really important because my wife is claustrophobic and the space for the scan is very small for someone who has that phobia of small spaces.
First appointment of day , they booked someone else , and me for the same time, still waiting 45 minutes now .......

I was extremely nervous for my appointment. The open MRI was so much better than that tube I was afraid of. Everyone is very professional and nice which also helps with making it a comfortable experience.

I have been a patient at OAMRI NW for about three years now. I need very careful periodic screening for a very high risk condition, and I trust the detailed and customized care of this small boutique practice. I've been in many doctor's offices where I felt like a number and not a person, and it's refreshing to see how this practice is so different! Everyone, from the front desk to the technician clearly care for the patient. The experience in the MRI machine was in fact so comfortable that I fell asleep almost every time (thanks Robert for letting me choose my music during the exam!). Very importantly, I feel like Dr. Larhs will take the time and has the expertise to read my MRI's in the most careful way possible. Everything medical is so nerve-wrecking - thanks for taking the stress out of it!

The woman I'll refer to as V helped me schedule my appointment. I did not have a previous referral to see a specialist. V didn't think I could get an appointment without one. She took my number down and said she would double check to see if that was a requirement. In no time at all she had called me back and let me know I didn't need one. I now have an appointment. She may have saved my life. I will try to never forget her, depending on my MRI results if course. Even so I will make a reminder. So at least I can know the story of the amazing woman who helped me. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
The people are nice, just be prepared to wait. I am writing this review while waiting for my appointment to start. I arrived a half hour early and it is now a half hour after my appointment was supposed to start. Still waiting! Good luck!
Had to change from 2 stars to 1. It has now been 1 hour since my appointment time and still haven't been seen. PLUS, the receptionist just left. WOW!!! Still waiting, will update you with results.
Said I would update, so here it is. Finally got in an 1:20 after my scheduled appointment time. Did the first part no problem. Went to add contrast and the tech couldn't do it. Got stuck 7 times and still couldn't find a vain. Was told to reschedule. Whats another whole day for a 15 minute procedure. If you have other options TAKE THEM!!!!!!
