A unique place which houses a wonderful restaurant!

A destination for contemporary art exhibitions! The works of contemporary art masters from 1900 onwards are displayed. The Centre Pompidou is an outstanding piece of contemporary architecture, a landmark of Paris. The first and second floors are libraries, and the third and fourth floors are art museums.

The food is very expensive for a poor service .
The waitress pretend to be super model...very useless.!
The only things I appreciated is the view.
My conclusion : Going to George for Cofee is enough . Avoid diner or lunch...the bill is incredibly expensive for low quality

Art of many forms and eras. Walked around for hours and still did not see everything. Such a great place for lovers of modern and contemporary art.

Free giant library and perhaps with the best public schedule in Paris. Gigantic collection and overlooking the adjoining squares to study at ease. In the audiovisual area you can find all kinds of Parisian flora and fauna and learn from them.

The museum itself, a must see in Paris. Museum shops where you will find books and interesting objects.

One of the great places of international culture not to be missed.
When you arrive in Paris, you need to have an eye on the various programs we offer and on our temporary ones.
A multipurpose space where tomorrow is already present.

Unfortunately it was a reconstruction period. But it is a fantastic building with special Paris view

A nerve center of culture in Paris.
The architecture is still original but Renzo Piano did not think, as often architects, the passage of time and especially the dirt accumulated on his pipes. A little spitting, France what!

Those who want to see certain artists! Not overloaded with exposure! With an excellent rooftop cafe overlooking Paris and Notre Dame

A must. Even if the exterior escalators are being renovated, the interior is still just as good. From modern art to contemporary art but also temporary exhibitions, it is good to walk around and discover these works.

Spectacular exhibition center. Despite the years it has been built, it continues to impress.
In the front facade that gives to the pedestrian square a great escalator it crosses, and the later one that gives to the main street the pipes of several colors can be observed, each one for different services, that are those that do of this particular building .
Inside there are several temporary exhibitions ....

One of my favorites places in the city!!! if you go up to the last floor you can get this amazing view of the city.

A beautiful cultural center, very eclectic in the choice of artists .....

Monument that has made a lot of ink in Paris since its construction. Located in the heart of Paris some will see a work of art, others a wart. The peculiarity of the center are the numerous red white blue exterior pipes symbolizing the air, water and gas outlets. Many art exhibitions are organized inside and a restaurant offers its top-floor menu

Another must-see point on the map of Paris. Known for history lessons, you can finally see live. It's impressive

It's a very famous museum alright. Lotsa art. Recommensed for lovers of famous museums with lotsa art in them

Modern building, cool in summer. Great place to go with your family or friends. There are often fun and original expositions. Just outside you will often be able to enjoy street performers crazy stuns and dazzling magic for free. It's very well located close to many shops and restaurants.

Great Picasso exhibition, went there because of the cubism and we were not disappointed.

Thing is we went there with a handicapped person. Nothing well displayed or indicated, terrible attention by the security or entrance people.

The place is dirty and its such a mess. They shall also control the amount of people getting there.

Best views of Paris, great exhibitions. Very immersive. Save a whole day for it. Especially if you want to eat. There is a rooftop restaurant (although very expensive).

There is a coffee shop in the roof top, free entrance, great sunset!

We somehow overlooked this modern art museum in the past. This time we reserved a full day to walk around. This was one of the best modern art museums we ever visited. Holdings are several times more than any other museum. This is a must see place in Paris.

You may like it or not, but the Center Pompidou is a fundamental building in the history of architecture, with respect to which there is a before and after: it is the work with which a then unknown Renzo Piano invents the 21st century, with almost thirty years in advance.

Always amusing expositions, great service and beautiful place

Just a big building where unlikely you get lost. 4 galleries with temporary exhibitions, a library, a cinema and permanent modern art museum. Quite frankly the only thing worth - if you're interested to that things - is the 5th floor balcony Weber you can get a couple of shots of Paris. The building verses in a not well cleaned/maintained status.

You should visit only the last floor of the permanent exibitions which is fantastic if you are a fun of modern art You can see some paintings of Picasso, Mone, Kadinsky and others. I found the other floor at least non artistic and too bad for my taste and it is a waste of time.

It's a great museum, especialy the modern art section amazed me

Wanted to see Paris from above on the 5th floor viewing platform. 5 entrance fee for that, which does NOT incl museum. VERY MISLEADING! You cannot really go outside, except for a very small area near the elevators. You can only look at the city thru the very dirty plexiglass tubes and only on one side of the bldg. Disappointing.

Great exhibitions but the building itself is the highlight. The building is beautiful but the main square around it is often crowded

This bouliding has cnstracted just by metal. It has abig lybrary as well as musem, pompidu.

A must if you like modern art. When I visited (June, 2018) they had two futuristic exhibitions also with a virtual reality feature. Very enjoyable!

Beautiful bibliography and exhibitions always offbeat

An interesting collection of works, the view from the top is just magnificent.

Art asks questions, modern art asks unusual questions that would never have been asked without this art

Superbly curated, what a profoundly important collection, a must for any lover of contemporary and modern art. You can manage it in 3 hours, if you are in a real hurry. Sorry, I skipped the Louvre this time and had a lot more fun here.

Showing it's age but still an icon. Cost for the view is pretty high.

A unique place for two reasons: the building itself is a masterpiece of contemporary architecture. In Paris, he was initially controversial, but today is his pride. The exhibition in the museum consists of three basic parts: already recognized classic contemporary art, contemporary art, which can be described as "new" and temporary exhibitions. It's worth being everywhere . Moving around with tubes around the building that allow you to admire the panorama of the city gives you extra impressions. I would highly recommend!

There are no more stairs to exit. We have to queue for a very long time (especially in the cold and in the rain) to go down, it's scandalous! And if there is a fire, we die while waiting for the elevator? (Otherwise the museum is fine, but I hope they will find a solution before the end of the work!)

Interesting, dynamic for a dip in architecture and modern art! Beautiful view from the top floor terrace. The neighborhood is also very lively, full of bistros, street art and small shops.

Looks cool from outside but we decided not to go in as the cues were unbelievable

Pompidou has two entrances.
In addition to the two long lines in front of the Pompidou building
On the other side, there is a line that goes into the library.
Library lines seem to be long, but they are relatively fast.
The library is free, but you can read books and have a cafeteria, where you can have a drink and have a computer.
If you have time, stop by or you will be connected to the museum and gallery as soon as you turn right.

There is no international student card discount, but youth is discounted.
Also, the youth museum is free! I say ticket 0 Euro if you say. If you purchased the Museum Pass, the museum portion is free. Although the gallery is excluded, the museum itself is really rich in things to see. It's a house of contemporary art.

Be sure to take a look because you can go up to the observatory on the 5th or 6th floor with a museum ticket. Eiffel is on the left and Montmartre is on the right.

And be careful of your wallet in the shop here too ..! Pretty ..

In addition to the Louvre Orsay Orangerie, visit Pompidou.

A very important place to see if you haven t yet. Inside you have access to a museum and several exhibitions, shows and concerts, but also The Kandinsky library. You can find a place to eat inside and buy souvenirs. The diversity of what the Pompidou Center has to offer makes it a place where you should go at least twice.

The permanent contemporary art exhibition is on point. Highly recommended

The museum does not warn people in the event of an earlier closure.
[12/01] we bought our ticket less than a week ago for 11/01 at 6pm, once in front of us we are told that it is closed.
Today 12/01, at the time of the complaint, we are told that this has been known for 3 weeks! We were not warned of anything, ditto for many other people.

It's hard to walk past Matisse, Bracques, Picasso, Kandinsky. It's beautifully done and captures so much. Check out Franti ek Kupka's abstract canvases. Or Marc Chagall's dreamlike illustrations for a collection of folk writing by Jean Fontaine. A multi-day pass won't get you into the temporary exhibits, just the Museum.

The Centre George Pompidou building is as much an attraction as the exhibitions it houses. Great views from the roof and gallery levels out to the Eiffel Tower and Montmartre at night. There are a heaps of places to eat in the CGP or outside near the Canopy.

We have not entered but it is really a beautiful sight.
Worth a trip in the evening because you can see all its grandeur

One of the most important museums of modern art around the globe. Located in the most artistic areas of Paris, next to Mare. Always a joy visiting this area.

Famous museum of modern art, designed by the architect Renzo Piano. Ticket 14 in the standard of Parisian museums including wardrobe (recommended, there are very few benches or armchairs in the exhibition) to visit on a rainy day to pass the time, in a day of good weather to be able to admire the view over Paris.

One of the nicer public libraries in Paris. Well equipped and a huge accommodating arrangement

Revolutionary place. Wonderful. They could improve the exhibitions, schedules, introduce guides in Italian and ask those who take over the management of that wonderful restaurant to know how to cook
