Over the years I have visited this museum of modern and contemporary art, located in an area very popular with young people, the building is a must of modern art, which at the time aroused much criticism from the Parisians. the works are divided into many rooms and floors, the part concerning the Impressionists is very rich, all the great painters from Van Gogh to Matisse are widely represented, useless to list them, the museum of contemporary art is very rich, the rooms have large terraces with sculptures and small pools, from the top floor you can enjoy a breathtaking view of the city.
on the side of the Center the original Strawinsky fountain, nearby excellent restaurants very popular at affordable prices.
Do not miss the Church of St. Eustache, one of the oldest in Paris, 200 meters away, where you can listen to many concerts in the evening.
For that visit Paris are attractions not to be missed,

A must-see museum for modern art. The building itself is splendid, an excellent teaser for what awaits inside. We have a yearly pass here, and its worth every cent. There are regular and changing exhibitions, and did I mention that the view from the top is probably one of the best in Paris? As with most popular spots in Paris, it is best to visit on a weekday, or if you must go on the weekend, do it in the morning. As the day progresses, lines get longer and longer, a half an hour wait just to get into an exhibition is not unusual.

Even though the main gallery isn't free, there are other temporary exhibitions that can be viewed for free. If you're a student, you can visit the library inside for some study session.

Sensory overload :) Honestly, the amount of stimuli, ideas, craft, in other words, art in general, to be perceived at the place exceeds capabilities of an average art lover brain. Possible to sightsee during one, hasty day, better to be taken in two. Cannot recommend high enough.

Very pleasant library with a large number of books. However, waiting to enter when full is done outdoors without any weather protection. 2 hours in the rain and in the cold it's been a long time ...

This is a complete museum that has its history from the beginning of its construction with the choice of the person who built it. This museum features works by great nineteenth-century painters and Modern Art. Particularly for me it is very difficult to understand this modern art. Even so, I believe that in the future with the largest number of museums you will visit, you may see with other eyes of modern art. At the moment I am happier with the artists before this time but we always need to learn more.

Love the place and their fabulous expositions.

Love the place and their fabulous expositions.
It os unfortunate that their is so many construction around the center for so long it makes the access quite difficult and absolutely confusing.
With such an important center in the heart of the city the surrounding should be more taken in consideration as this could help so much to share culture to many social class.
Building isn t really visually attractive and now with the years it seems to not been taken care of really well this is also really irresponsible as this massive structure is now part of the visual of such an important part of the historical part of the city.
Expositions are a must but the visit to the center is definitely a desapointment compare to what other metroploe in the continent offer as an experience.
