I still find it ugly to charge people to enter a building that is not finished building! There is still a lot of scaffolding around the museum, which means you can not see the building below. Also the stairs are outside so it's cold.
I propose to remove it to make a nice pool to do laps on Monday, after work.

Thank you for understanding
Jean-Francis

One of the most beautiful museums in Paris. A real must for those interested in modern and contemporary arts. A permanent collection perfect for the uninitiated. On the top floor the Georges, a restaurant bar with a view (the service is not great).

This is one of the must visit museums in Paris and a must see building too. The museum often hosts great exhibitions and has a nice gift/bookstore. The building itself is a work of modern art hence worth seeing on its own. It offers a beautiful view over Paris from the roof. The area is also very interesting and lively. One can often find musicians and artists perform or draw in the street around this museum.

Modern art will not find a better cradle than the Georges Pompidou Center. The quality of the works and the range of artists that you can admire is such that visiting the museum in one day is not enough to take the tempd to appreciate this art.
The Center also has a beautiful computerized library with a very large collection. The view of the city from this place is not to be missed.

Must see in Paris. First for the views of Paris, second for the 6th floor restaurant and third for the art. Even if you are not a "museum person" don't skip it as the views of Paris are breathtaking. For art lovers this is quite a treat.

The staff are very cheerful and helpful. A very well laid out place with a beautiful view over the rooftops of Paris. Only downside, the external appearance which leaves something to be desired and which seems relatively "dirty".

An excellent museum for art lovers.

Each exhibition tells a good story and there is a collection of modern works in the museum is very rich and impressive.

A museum of modern and contemporary art, with endless permanent collections. The first Sunday of the month admission is free for all to these collections. Temporary exhibitions are obviously paying in all cases (about fifteen euros I think)

Great museum for modern and contemporary art. Don't let the external size deter you, because the collection spans "only" on two floors.
Pretty unique and iconic pieces, some marked as VIP (in Red).
Guided tours offer a glimpse to the museum highlights and the guides are knowledgeable and collaborative in their explanations.

Located in the heart of Paris, the museum structure, designed by Renzo Piano, impresses with its discontinuity with the surrounding buildings. A large "meccano" abandoned on a carpet. The exhibition presents a whole series of goodies for lovers of modern and contemporary art. There is also a children's area and a beautiful shop, but expensive. More than positive experience!

Beautiful building! Spacious and pleasant spaces. Some of the works on display tend to border on the art for some in my opinion. All the subtleties and contemporary art controversies :)

A superb place of culture and knowledge. I no longer count the hours spent during my studies, in the library doing research in peace, in the multitude of works available in the different departments of this institution. Amazing by its architecture at the beginning, but what a place of culture and knowledge accessible to all. In addition, the area is really nice with these bistros, restaurants and shops. Another place to see and especially to live ...

The museum itself was a treat. Great views from numerous vantage points and outside exhibits. The various modern art collection was nifty as well. The only disappointment was the stinking Le Georges restaurant. Overpriced for what you get. Fresh food, small portions, prepared super fast. Ironic this place is at the Pompidou because that's all I got, pompous assed serviced that had the gall to point out the price doesn't include tip. Tip is for above and beyond service, it's for deserving service of which this did not deliver. Save your money for the entrance fee to the museum, at least the modern art is more deserving.

Love the view from the top floor. Otherwise the surrounding construction was overwhelming. You could not get a sense of the building architecture. The entire plaza in front was closed and it was no easy to find the entrance.

As someone who does not claim to know anything about art, it's an...interesting place. The building is cool, with its exoskeleton colour-coded for functionality. The art is a bit of a refreshing break after all the paintings of winged babies and naked women in Paris' other galleries, and who doesn't enjoy a piano that's been asked to pieces and glued to the wall?! But I still don't understand how a plain canvas with a yellow stripe down one side finds its way onto the wall of a gallery, I'm afraid.
Oh, and the air conditioning was very pleasant break from the recent scorching weather! =]
