Building looking not the most beautiful outside but once inside, there are small nuggets in the work of art. After, there is something for everyone. Some works are really puzzling and make you wonder after the visit.

A small flat (two, in fact) but will be difficult to adjust: the size of the elevators. Difficult to go with several elevators and the size of the shelves in the shop (I saw only one, the 4th floor, I think). In these departments, it is difficult to stroll with a group of people in wheelchairs.

Great plus point: the group tours are very well organized.

The Pompidou Center excels in its mediocrity right now ... and is turning more and more into a "DisneyLand" of art.

temporary exhibitions very short (Bacon !!!) and super expensive ?? !! (12 euros per person for 10 minutes of visit).
In short, a bland museum, which rots on itself being satisfied with its name to bring onlookers :)

Enter the museum hall, it's free and gives an overview of the place. Perhaps some will then be tempted to explore the floors where temporary exhibitions are always interesting. And the permanent background offers a good overview of what modern art produces best!

Go!

This museum building it's a beautiful piece of art by itself. I had the luck to see a Magritte expo when y went. The regular expo is good, but not as great as others like MoMA for example. Is a must see of Paris, speccialy if you like art and seen museums. The only thing, didn't find a good audio guide for it in the museum. As in every museum in Paris there is long lines to get in, but is worth it. Also since is open from 11am up to the night I better to do it in the evening so you get the chance to see something else in the morning. I did it after going to the arc of thiunph and walk though the commercial district

One of my favorite places in Paris. At the time of its construction, the Center Pompidou, as it is known in everyday language, was a landmark and lighthouse. The concentration of several cultural institutions in a building was something new and has not lost the groundbreaking for me until today. This has often been copied. Currently, however, certain restrictions due to construction.

One of the best museums in Paris. It contains an amazing collection of modern art. The building itself is very interesting and you have access to some great views of Paris. We went there on a Friday morning and the place did not feel crowded. The galleries are arranged nicely so you really get to see the art. It is a much better experience than the Louvre.

This is a concept that is aging well. When I was young, I went to the library, which always seems so busy. Now I enjoy going to the museum, collections of contemporary art are surprising, often, and renewed. No way to get bored, we can come there often!

Modern art. Closed on Tuesdays. The Centre Pompidou is much nicer since its renovation. The last time I had seen it, it really looked in bad shape. This time, the pool outside (Stravinsky fountain) was drained, but you could still see the Niki de Saint Phalle sculptures.

You have the choice with large exhibitions
But I particularly like Pompidou for the student place with 2 floors of desk, library, computers, charges, to work and focus with free wifi
You have a balcony to have a break, have a breath or to smoke and a place to eat something.
It is definitely the best place to work
It closes at 10 pm everyday except the Tuesday which is closed.

Very nice museum. It is a bit complicated to understand how to access the various exhibitions as it is poorly equipped with indications. Information written only in French, English and German. Fairly clean toilets.

That colorful metallic structure that surrounds it makes it original and beautiful. But the place with that Picassiana fountain is the best. Sitting there for a while and seeing the shows that street artists offer is the essence of Paris.

I center of cultural activities such movies, library and changing exhibitions. A bookstore with cool pocket calendars and many other things. Free WiFi. A place to sit down and rest from the hustle and bustle outside.

I'm doing art direction in Fashion industry and this is a place I often visit 4+ times a year. The way Pompidou exhibit art works is the best I've ever experienced. It's fluid and vivid. No matter which floor or gallery you are at, you can always see an open space for you to digest what you just absorbed. Every time you walk to the end, it's a full glass of Paris view to impress you that art wasn't just born. It comes with the history and goes with the present. Funny stories happened to me and some my ex here. It's a place to store nice memories and create some new ones even I'm alone here mostly.

A beautiful museum in itself, but very attractive exhibitions and you quickly get bored of the museum. But that's going to glance.
Very unpleasant staff: I was in a room filled with balloon fish in this room a staff supervising the room and under his eyes girls played with the balloon fish then I tire so my daughter go and play with her and then the supervisor is done replace by another and the girls also leave and then a new supervisor arrives and shouts at my daughter because she is playing with the balloons in short this supervisor being very stupid that explains my note.

There are people who can not fully appreciate the Pompidou Center, since it does not respect the canons of beauty that, usually, an art center should have.
Personally, however, I find it exceptional in all respects!
Always full of people walking quietly, curious tourists and street performers who play or exhibit their works of art .. STUPENDOUS!
The interior is gigantic, two boutiques full of art books, stationery with the most important portraits and a huge library available for students, workers or simple readers!
I have always loved the Pompidou: cutting edge and full of life!

Difficult to put a bad note to a museum, finally especially like this one. The place is magical permanent collections very beautiful. To walk, to dream, to ask oneself, to observe to imagine stories by putting one's eyes on these works. Finally here go go it's great. Then the view on Paris is amazing!

A must visit every time I travel to Paris. Huge collection of various artists and amazing exhibitions all the time. Great spot to relax, with an amazing playground for the kids and a lovely bookstore of a large collection of all the categories of books.

It is an architecture that represents the 20th century. The design was decided to be a Renzo Piano and Richard Rogers project through an international competition, but it has been a controversial issue since then. When it was introduced in Japan after its completion in 1977, a famous Japanese architect said, It will be destroyed in a few years. I was able to visit for the first time in 1982, five years later. The French newspaper at that time also featured a special article about this problem child for maintenance.
But this problem child is very attractive. It is still built as a spear in the old streets of Paris (although it is a spear, as usual). We still insist on the post-modern appearance and create a new landscape and transmit a new culture. .
What's more, the interior is a fascinating architectural space that gives us a beautiful view of Paris from there. . In the west direction, the Notre Dame Cathedral is now about the resurrection. Eiffel Tower and Defense in the north direction. In the east, Sakura Claire Temple stands on a small hill. And the exhibition of wonderful modern art shows the new face of Paris.
The Pompidou Center 40 years ago, 20 years ago, and 2019 will always talk attractively. Nearly half a century ago, this architecture will remain an attractive problem child.

I love this place; the architecture is stunning and still modern. One my favourite art modern museums in the world. If you have the opportunity, try the restaurant the George at the top of the museum; excellent food and fantastic view on Paris roof top

There are many fun and cultural activities for young and old but it is also the dissatisfaction of many because of its international renown which generates a very high attendance especially during school exams and other cultural events.
My advice: You do not take it at the last minute to visit or spend an afternoon in the Center.

I love this museum ... If you love art, the Pompidou center will enrich you with its permanent and temporary exhibitions (which were also very appreciated by my children). For example, I was lucky enough to see a beautiful exhibition by Picasso, fortunately for me. Stage not to be missed in my opinion, the structure is very beautiful to visit with multiple views of Paris. The ticket is valid all day and you can enter and exit the same day several times. In fact, I visited the museum two times.

Love it

The rooftop view is excellent, comparable to the view from the top of Printemps. The modern art can be hit / miss depending on what you're into. I think the more permanent exhibitions will always impress, however once or twice I have been left dumbfounded while trying to find the merit in some of the temporary showings.

If you visit the Pompidou Center, make a detour to the back of the building, you will discover a very nice little place with terraces cafes fountains, animated by musicians and street dancers

Great value with first rate exhibitions. This was my first visit since not long after it opened. Then it seemed so excitingly modern, but now it's just a little tatty and dated, eclipsed I'm afraid by the Guggenheim, Bilbao and Tate Modern, London, otherwise it would be five stars.

What to say apart from the banalities? Magnificent place, exceptionally highlighting the works (on the 6th floor in particular, where I have just visited, on the eve of the closing ( ), the Matisse exhibition). And what a superb place of conviviality and exchange!
