Modern art but a classic view of Paris from the 5th floor in the evening just before close.
free for kids under 18, loved it because it's very big and too long to walk at once, if you're a tourist and you already have your legs screaming from pain. very nice art, and different forms of it, famous artists like picasso and a very inspiring place. the shop is very nice too! and the views are amazing.
Superb museum! Only annoyance, people who can "hang out" in the neighborhood.
Magnificent and magical as much for the place, the view as for the exhibitions!
Haughty staff "pff for children, here? !!", complicated access to have to go around the building, for nothing ... In short, to avoid.
One staff at the main entrance was rude and pompous. More strict than the Louvre!!! The structure was the only thing I liked. Visit the D'Orsey or Louvre for more satisfaction.
THE center for art and culture in Europe! Always worth a visit - but then with a lot of time. For a day should hardly be enough to discover all the treasures and to receive all suggestions appropriately. I recommend to schedule at least three days for the center - if man is not here for a very specific cause. My love for the Center began with the exhibition on Satie's 'Parade' - and she keeps it
Not particularly impressed by this museum, I expected more .. but all conceptually, modern and tasteful. Some of the exhibits really liked, some just did not understand. If you are a student of the European Union entrance is free, but please note, only on the 4th and 5th floor! If you want to see all the exhibitions, the ticket will cost about 13-15 euros (I do not remember exactly). Need to keep in mind, the museum for a couple of hours is unlikely to be able to run around))
The collection of this museum is famous for a reason. Every visitor to Paris should go here. Entree fee was reasonable for a museum of this size (14 )
Notre Dame viewed from roof top bar of Le Centre Pompidou
Must-see cultural place/museum in Paris. The building itself is really unique, colorful, industrial and playful. To access exhibitions or permanent collection, you must take an outside elevator all along the building to the top, allowing you to enjoy a 180degrees view of Paris, including Eiffel Tower. Exhibitions are always top quality.
Visit the museum interesting but I do not stay a fan of the art "too" modern ... some beautiful works anyway for my taste ...
The concept of 'keeping service lines out of the building' on display here.
My favorite museum in Paris. If you enjoy modern art this is a must. The art here is so creative and cool to see. A variety of large and small pieces, some which you can even walk inside of! Give yourself 2-3 hours to explore this place.
A very beautiful museum. To visit for its collections, its architecture and for the superb view of Paris
Museum of contemporary and experimental art, well preserved and with many interesting works. If you are passionate about this artistic branch it is a must. The structure partly Italian (thanks to Renzo Piano) has a very strong glance on the outside. Open until late evening. Free admission for children under 26 EU
Superb exhibition space full of visual riches but ephemeral exhibitions at prices still too high for students, why access is not free for art students as it is for many other museums?
Great place for lovers of contemporary art. If nevertheless you like more Gothic cathedrals then you will be bored here. Good layout, interesting architecture.
A great place to sit, chill, and watch people wandering by. I used to visit this place pretty often.
It is a space that was modern in its day, but today it looks like a factory. I did not especially like it. The very curious store with many original and design objects. Various spaces: library, children's activity area, exhibitions, bookstore ...
Permanent collection of modern art is all-star. The contemporary collection is less impressive, but has a great series of works by Richter, a rare find. The building is an experience by itself, even though it needs a bit of renovation.
Modern contemporary art. Open at 11:00. 3-4 hours investment
The Pompidou Center is one of the best museums with a permanent museum and temporary exhibitions on the 6th floor. I am extremely satisfied with the interior, very clean and very secure (gantries and gorillas). Thank you for this great place I recommend.
Very long queues, but lovely fountains and places to sit next to it
It is a place where you can see modern art and planning exhibitions in contemporary art architecture. I recommend you to have a spare time for 3 hours, and the gallery is divided into 1-4 so you can see many things. More
I've been here a few times, and the quirky architecture is always an inspiration. The exhibits are on the pricey side but they're usually really good. We went to the "Le Corbusier: The Measures of Man" exhibit, and that was absolutely fantastic. Good to spend at least 3-4 hours here since it's a huge space with so many interesting shows going on. The street performers out front are also an entertaining option.
One of the best place in Paris to see the city view. The buildings is closed in the evening, and only those who reserved in the restaurant on top is allowed to enter.
Today August 15, 2020, we had booked 2 tickets with my daughter for a guided tour of gallery 2 at 1:30 p.m. My daughter suffering from claustrophobia, we asked for access by stairs. We were asked to join the reception and that a security person come to accompany us. However, the person who should have accompanied us explained to us that the outside staircase was not secure (no guardrail) and that we could not take it. When I pointed out that if there was a fire we would have to use the stairs even without a guard, this person replied that it was not the same. !!
Bells exhibition the place is conducive to miscegenation of cultures still world but pleasant to visit
An amazing range of art and exhibitions! An amazing day out!
Not a big fan of modern art but the place is great. The view from the last floor is gorgeous and the surrouding area is great too.
Museum very interesting, a very different architecture from the normal one of Paris. Interesting exhibits and a spectacular view of the city.
The following layers are quite suitable for learning, the museum above is especially like! Basically all works after 1914, many Picasso many abstract parties have many novel ideas! If you like something that is unique, very novel and very personal, then you must like the Pompidou Museum. Anyway, I find it very interesting~
Beautiful looking exhibition centre, especially on a crisp cool night with a cloudless sky. The lights and architecture really stand out and are in a way a real safe haven in this cool and edgy part of town that reminds one of Shoreditch and Brick Lane in London or Trastevere in Rome.
Lots of shops for younger people and those willing to be more adventurous as well as plenty of restaurants and snacks.
Definitely have a stroll here and onto Le Marais
I went to the Pompidou Center Thursday until 11 pm, so I went slowly past 7 pm.
Special exhibition halls on the 6th floor are open until 11:00, and the modern art museum on the 5th floor, which can be viewed with the Museum Pass, is only until 9 o'clock.
It was so good to see the works but ..
Really good place to visit and lots of thing to see
This is a great museum with some interesting pieces of old and contemporary art.
The building itself looks amazing and it's a usually calm place.
It also have a restaurant in top of the museum, so if anyone wants to eat there, it provides a wide selection of food and drinks, also it has a nice view of Paris.
It s an interesting experience even I don t know much about modern art. You must get the Center of Pompidou s podcast. It s a good audio guide.
The bui6to me is ugly but I suppose what's interesting are the exposition inside. Definitely a buzzing art place for the street artists during the summer more than the winter.
Great collection, well-spaced, kid friendly. Our children wanted to go see works of Picasso and got to experience a lot more.
I imagined this legend in a much more impressive way. It looked very "ruffled".
When the weather is good, it is suitable to take a walk. You don't necessarily need to buy a ticket to watch the exhibition. The scenery is enough to enjoy a leisurely afternoon.
Hello, what a beautiful cultural center! From the artistic discovery, bookstore, and all these exhibitions! Only good moments and memories. The exhibition Vasarely, beautiful, explicit, revealing and simply beautiful!
The permanent works, are offered to us, various, different, beautiful, mixed in styles even if they are differentiated by pictorial era!
A delight!
From the roof, we can see the rooftops of Paris, the monuments, Tower Eiffel, Sacred Heart, Pantheon, Notre Dame! The roofs so typical of Paris, so fond of people.
The Pompidou Center is the place to stroll, discover, learn, marvel both inside and out ..

Fabulous museum with an eccentric and non traditional collection. In a beautiful building with fantastic views of the city. Worth the price.
Wonderful place for the bizarre works that animate it ... it's like feeling Alice in Wonderland
Loved it and had great art. Line wasnt to bad either !
You have to love contemporary art, a number of interesting works.
Absolutely amazing. Huge museum and I loved every second of it. There was so much to see and different types of art. I felt like a kid on a playground. It was truly amazing and inspiring.
One of my favourite places in Paris. It's just a shame that such an amazing building is looking rather shabby.
One of the must see in Paris. Not only for the quality of the exhibitions but also for the beautiful view from the top. I love the building itself too... Reminds me of my childhood when I attended a school facing the Museum.
This is the museum of the XXI century. With this large pipes and Piazza Italian.
Exhibitions and visitors from around the world flock each day.
The feeling of being one with the culture to be unique too.
Unforgettable moments.
Ok place. The timings on the website is not clear. It says 11pm on Thursday. But apparently only 6th floor is open with a special ticket. Paris pass not valid.
I dont understand modern art. It seemed boring to me.
Scruffy area but very popular with tourists and young people
Stunning exhibition about global resistance made this visit very special. Centre Pompidou never fails to deliver
Beautiful museum. Varied works well exposed. Friendly staff. Very pleasant
Excellent. My fiancee and i had great time. complete weekend in Paris !
The best museum in Paris,I love it so much, highly recommend
Pompidou Centre is a complex building in the Beaubourg area of the 4th arrondissement of Paris, near Les Halles, rue Montorgueil, and the Marais. It was designed in the style of high-tech architecture by the architectural team of Richard Rogers and Renzo Piano, along with Gianfranco Franchini.
Exhibition of Francis Bacon was amazing
Very good despite the works. A real pleasure to visit the exhibition on Bacon ...
