Magnificent view of the old city and smashing shows

If you ever want to see elegant models (seem to have run away from the Dolce & Gabana catalog) you have to be here. Everything about these waiters is pure perfection, both men and women! You would almost forget that there is a museum beneath you! And the food is also top quality..To dream of.

Love this place! Especially the library behind the museum. You can access a lot of books in different fields
The museum organized interesting exhibitions. I definitely recommend this place to enjoy Paris. Plus you have a view on the top!

THE museum of modern art and when I say LE c is in the world

The exterior is rather repugnant because of the soot of cars that settle on the colors of the center's metallic structure a little disturbed by the contrast between the style of the ancient buildings and this modern super structure that does not fit into the environment just like the Pyramid in the Louvre. But you should not miss the exhibits in the center because of the mantle and the busy environment that is reminiscent of the Tel Aviv Central Station area.

Amazing experience architecture/view/art. A few things could be better like they checked our ticket at every floor and their machine doesn't work well with the mobile phone ticket. The line to buy a psychical ticket is huge. Also the view of Paris is nice but the glass is dirty so not great for pictures.

One of my favorite museums in the world. Extensive modern and contemporary collection, as well as rotating exhibits. Plus you can have an excellent view of Paris and the Eiffel Tower.

Get ready to stand in line to enter the building, to stand in line to buy a ticket, to stand in line for the cloakroom, to stand in line for the toilet, and then finally.. another long line (today >20 minutes) to actually enter the museum. If you re really into it you could even wait in another line to enter the temporary exhibition (today >60 minutes). Maybe it s better to go during the week, this was just ridiculous and made a normally relaxing museum visit tedious and draining.

On the plus side, the rooms are surprisingly quiet and of course there is the amazing art +views over dreamy Paris.

Wonderful modern art museum. The architecture itself is worth the visit. The temporary exhibitions are always very interesting, and the view on Paris from the rooftop is breathtaking.

Very interesting. Here you can see a range of exhibitions at a nice price. For those who do not appreciate art they can climb to the 6th floor of the building for the value of 5 euros and have the opportunity to see Paris. Must visit, worth every cent request.

Truly fantastic collection and really well presented. Very varied mix of modern and contemporary styles and the expositions are terrific. The view of Paris is a bit of a letdown however. Considering it costs 5 you may as well head to Printemps for free.

Best museum in the world. I could spend days there. Exhibitions are always interesting, whatever they are! The place, sublime, is arranged for everyone (mom with stroller, disabled ...).
To do at least once when visiting (or living) Paris.

It' a free library where you can focus on your work in a calm place, lot of books are available and it's open late at night (10pm approximately)
The down side, there's a security check up at the entry, so if you come during affluence time it may take a while before you get in.

Beautiful building, worth a trip just to check it out. We had a wonderful time enjoying the exhibits and greatly appreciated the way it was curated.

An exciting museum of modern art. School students listened to the teacher's introductions to more interesting works. Advise!

Lots of exhibitions with art from 18 century to modern time. Several spots where you can get a nice view of Paris. Excellent roof-top restaurant.

Personally, I find that the building is far from ugly and really has its own style.

Architecture by Renzo Piano and always beautiful and very interesting exhibitions. The nearby square is animated by street artists and many locals.

Cultural and artistic Mecca of Paris: many exhibitions including some free (learn about the program) a large bookstore dedicated to contemporary art, a cafeteria high that gives a view of the entire ground floor. .

Insane paintings from the Fauves to the present day (7 stars for it) but catastrophic lighting unworthy of such a treasure museum, it dazzles everywhere or the light reflected in the pictures (1 star for it) makes 4.

Nice art with variety good little store down stairs but cafe up stairs not that organised and a bit arrogant. The art is 5 stars but the cafe is only two. Great art centre and does not feel crowded as well as having tidy bathrooms.

THE MUSEUM to visit absolutely when we love modern art! Fantastic collection and important temporary exhibitions of artists of the 20th century! It is also here that you will find the works that make references on Art. My favorite museum of the capital.

Very nice view over Paris, especially in the evening. An elevator to the left of the entrance leads to the restaurant for free. But you do not have to eat or drink anything if you stay in the stairwell. About the main entrance one comes also legally for 5 upwards. At the entrance, the bags on explosives or similar. controlled, as in almost every major museum in Paris.

I visited yesterday the Bacon exhibition at the Pompidou Center. I was very disappointed with the scenography. No explanation is given to the simple amateurs, the brochure in free access is very conceptual and does not allow to have access to the inspirations of Bacon. I do not understand this bias, where is the open to the public. The brochure is made for those who want to discover, it's his first idea .. Too bad ..

It displays works from the many artists who lived in Paris during the first half of the XX century .It's a nice place...

It's an absolute must for a Paris visit. Besides the exhibits, the building itself is an expression of contemporary art. Don't judge it on first appearance as it tends to grow on you.

A very complete art center, full of exhibitions, with its own library and several rest areas including the restaurant on the top floor and a cafeteria at the entrance.

Excellent museum!! Widespread of modern and contemporary art! Displays many movements of modern art from cubism, dadaism, cinetic art and many more! Tickets can be bought here or online for 14 euros. There are also cinemas, a biblioteque, restaurants and a couple shops.

I hate most staffs here. They were the worst and unfriendly people who we met in Paris for 1 months.

Amazing art on multiple levels. All types of installations. This is definitely an all day type of location. There's lots of shops and places to grab a bite to eat near by.

Just used the library. The exit is practical. No need to go for a ride!

Great museum, which is a work of art itself. My daughter loved the Gallerie Des Entants. More museums should have an interactive exhibit like this.

Extraordinary place, I recommend going with time. In addition to lectures and free activities.

Beautiful and interesting gallery on Vasarely. A huge collection of works and installations of enormous impact. Then, of course, it depends on the tastes of the individual because the kind of works may not be appreciated by everyone.

Extremely pleasant place with a lot of creative people coming to seat on the sidewalk drink and make music not war:) the building is also interesting like it was turned inside-our. Very nice gallery with permanent and temporary expositions inside. Must-see when in Paris to feel the climate of the town:)

One of the displays actually made me think I was seeing things! Very riveting and emotionally engaging art.

Ultra modern architecture. First time we passed by we didn't realise it was an art museum. Costed us 14 pp to see but was well worth it. It was huge and housed many great works. The building inside is beautiful so is the restaurant on the TOP floor with view of Paris. However, restaurant is expensive - with staff all dressed formally.

Always a pleasure ! On the other hand, the Bacon exhibition is a real disappointment. Fortunately, Beaubourg offers other treasures
