First time in in many trips to Paris and enjoyed my time in there

It is very interesting to do various contemporary art exhibitions every time. There is a boutique inside, so you can enjoy it without having to look at the exhibits.

Excellent contemporary art collection (fee)
Public Library and public indoor and outdoor performance spaces (free). Public restrooms inside were nice too (free). Special exhibit was excellent (fee). Could spend most of day here!

Very confusing building, lots of empty space compared to the amount of art on permabrnt display. Not my favorite.

Incredible collection of modern art in a pioneering building. 14 tickets covered all exhibitions as well as the permanent collection, well worth it. Vasarely Sharing Forms exhibition was extensive. Too many great pieces of art, we must return

I was impressed that I bought a bottle of Cola 600ml for 5 Euros in the restaurant inside ...

The building look outdated now and seems not so well maintained.

One of the most beautiful museums in Paris see the best, very familiar places!

Special building.
Beautiful for its cheeky appearance. Fortunately, the neighborhood is full of really ugly buildings, so you can't say that the Center Pompidou is particularly ugly.

The Pompidou Center was opened in 1977 and is a place dedicated to modern art such as: painting, sculpture, cinema, literature, music, etc. It is also known as the Beaubourg center, it is located in the Saint Martin More

An amazing collection of modern art. Absolutely a must see for art lovers.

Expected to see more works here. But had nice collections.

Very poor condition inside and out. Square is under refurbishment, grime and dirt outside. Inside dusty and dirty. Toilets broken and dirty. Staff unfriendly and look bored. Lastly the exhibits are poorly curated making it very hard to understand the themes and hence making the whole experience worse. The top of the escalator is under repair limiting access to the views at top and the glass enclosure dirty. Showing its age very badly. I was here 19 years ago and it was fun but now it is disappointing.

The art ... it depends on what do you consider art... very subjective

Pompidou is is an art exhibit and museum... and it is very interesting. Everything from Picasso to contemporary. Cost is reasonable. Although I know French closing times are strict, ensure that you check the closing times with a couple of people ... to avoid being ushered out "early" ... as we were.

Amazing building, gallery, exhibitions!!!! But be warned it's very expressive to but a drink there 7 for a can of coke !!!!!!

Modern and contemporary art. Great visitation. Among the many traditional art museums visiting one and contemporary art gives a freshness to the visitation by Paris.

Big and calm, there's quite a lot of people in the afternoon, but not too crowded (maybe it's because it's currently August), you also need to queue at the entrance, but it moves forwards quickly. Cafeteria and toilets on the second floor, and Wifi works very well! I kind of wish I could borrow the books, but I also understand they do it to maintain the quality and the availability for everyone.

Possibly the best museum of modern art in the world, not just because of the collection, but because of the building architecture and the vibrant community around the museum. In the summer outdoor movies are shown in the adjacent plaza, where Parisian families and tourists enjoy open air meals, and a range of food vendors cater year around. Definitely worth a visit.

Seen from the outside, I don't appreciate this structure in such a classic city ... my opinion.

A museum not to be missed in Paris, especially for lovers of modern art. When I visited it it was really crowded, which made the visit a little less pleasant.

The Center Pompidou is always magical even if it is uneven as for the exhibitions there is still creation and beauty

6 hours looking at modern art. Left feeling quite uplifted, if exhausted and bewildered. A wonderful experience and the views are fantastic too.

Cafe is outside the gallery, and you can only enter once, so you cannot take a break midtrip (restaurant prices are obscene). Layout is unnecessarily non-intuitive; we saw several people turned away from the entrance to go back to the baggage drop. There's no exits on 4th/5th floors near the main lift. If you're on 5th you need to exit on 4th then find the lift at the opposite end. It feels like the layout is intentionally complex... is it part of the experience?

This place is wild. A HUGE library that is connected to an art museum. Mostly modern and contemporary.

We went there on a Sunday and then there was free entrance. Do not put yourself in the wrong queue. The one on the front is for reading hungry people who are going to the large library. 20 mins queue was worth it. Unfortunately, the Dali department had closed but there was a lot of other things nice.

I enjoy a lot of contemporary art work in the near future.
It is also attractive to open until late at night.
The view of Paris from the top floor of the escalator was also pretty good.

Difficult to give an opinion on an exhibition center like this one. In any case, the evening visit, with few people, is very pleasant

What's not to love about the Pompidou. Great permanent collection of modern artwork.

I was at the BPI, just behind. It's really huge, the library is on several floors and it is very quiet despite everything. Do not hesitate to check it out!

Nice monument. Unfortunately, the museum was closed on Tuesday and we could not visit it.

We only admired from the outside, it was pouring with rain and the queue was still long to enter

Very beautiful as a center, there are art, painting and other exhibitions, a large library, a space for students, to work, to study. There is also a cultural space, cinema dance, the size of this place could be used for dance rehearsals, for dance groups.

Avant-garde design, an excellent center for art lovers or just strolling around and looking at its interesting design

Great cultural center, library, and museum. If are staying in Paris for more than a week you should check out Le Centre Pompidou. Currently the exhibition is holding Roy Lichtenstein. The library is open to the public and doesn't skimp on resources.

Frustrating queueing systems with unhelpful and rude staff

Great collection, but bring a comfortable pair of shoes and some water, as there s A LOT of art to get through.

Excellent museum displaying the progression of modern art over the past century. The building itself is designed with a modern aesthetic

Excellent architecture but pricey exhibits. Worth the admission price.

Here the museum is so big I took a day to see all of the art pieces in here. And also for me, without an audio guide, the modern art pieces was hard to understand what artists try to express about.

Buy tickets before you arrive--we skipped the long line of unticketed folks and went right in when they opened in the morning. The exhibit was spacious and it was fun to see French school children there learning about art.

Beautiful works to contemplate, nothing to say the disappointed but exorbitant prices, 5.50 for a coke ..

What to say; modern art, great articles and history.

The Modern Art gallery is much better than the Contemporary Art gallery

The museum is great, I could see works that I had seen only in photo in the history books. And little more but not least: a magnificent view of Paris with the Eiffel Tower and the Sacred Heart Nivrau 5

You can get to the 5th and 4th floors for free on the first Sunday of each month. These floors hold the permanent exhibitions. There are many interesting paintings to consider made by famous artists like Picasso and Kandinsky.

Modern Art is really not my thing however I enjoyed the experience here. Had my 9 year old with me and she enjoyed herself as well. The architecture and the surrounding outdoor atmosphere really makes it a great place just to spend the day indoor and outdoors.

An overrated place. Okay, the design of building is attractive but not a must-to-visit kind of place in Paris. However, there are good restaurant nearby, especially Vegetarian.

For those who love modern and contemporary art it is a must-see stop in Paris! All the big pieces of art are not lacking in the appeal and the exhibition flows pleasantly in the beautiful center created by Renzo Piano. A truly rewarding experience and absolutely recommended!

Interesting place with a lot going on, went there for the exhibition on protestation and loved it!

A great multipurpose center. There is a library where you can work and read. And there is a museum and an exhibition center. The museum is stocked with a variety of drawings and modern arts which you can't afford to miss. Take your time and explore the place. In summer there can be long queues but do not be perturbed as what awaits you inside is just spectacular.

I went to the free day of the first Sunday.
The view from the roof was good. I saw the Eiffel Tower and Montmartre Hill.
The work seems to have different tastes. I passed by other than my favorite painters, such as Picasso and Milo, and went to other museums.

A beautiful phenomenal museum in the heart of Paris! Unique architecture!
