The best contemporary art museum that doesn't need a horse!
In addition to the permanent art exhibitions, special exhibitions, restaurants, and libraries are all excellent and offer free outdoor observation decks!

Because the collection is huge, you need at least three to four hours
If you're running out of time and want to take a quick look, it's probably not bad to watch the name-oriented events such as Matisse, Picasso, Kandinsky, Pollock, Mondrian, Juan Miro and Braju!

It is said that the entrance line should be separated from the outside of the building, but if the line is long, it is said to go to the restaurant and it is written in the restaurant waiting line. I went to the gallery waiting line because there was a short line when I went

The building's exterior and interior are completely unobtrusive, so it's a good idea to search for an architect's piano!

We were slightly disappointed that the Paris museum pass only covered the permanent collection and not the current exhibits but you can still purchase as ticket there as we did at the kiosks. The views of the city here are amazing.

Lots of places available but never enough compared to demand, it's not always very quiet due to the students chatting instead of working or going to take a break in the cafeteria, the cafes are a bit expensive, a "balcony / terrace "is accessible for smokers or to simply get some fresh air. The staff is present to provide you with information, and the Vigipirate plan is still in progress with bag verification and passage through a detector.

Very disappointed, only a part was open, a construction site to be avoided given the already impressive one of Notre Dame. The structure is very degrated and dirty. I hope to be more fortunate the next time I go to Paris

Exquisite permanent collection of modern and contemporary art.
Security is very strict, but once you are in, the gallery staff are very friendly. There is a large bookstore on the first floor as well as a small cafeteria.

Pro tip:. The neighbourhood is filled with wonderful little shops, used clothing stores, small galleries, restaurants and pastry shops.
Plan to make a whole day of the area.

The Pompidou is a center of Art and Culture, designed by Gianfranco Franchini, Renzo Piano, Richard Rogers and Sue Rogers.
The different colors of the external piping of the Center Pompidou are differentiated according to their use: yellow lines for electricity, red for elevators and escalators, green for water, blue for air.
Inside the square is positioned one of the most extravagant fountains of Paris, also called "Fontaine des automates", which, realized in 1983 by Jean Tinguely and Niki de Saint Phalle, is composed of 16 colored aluminum sculptures that move thanks to the water jets.

The collection of contemporary arts are magnificent. The featured art exhibition is excellent as well! As for the building of Centre Pompidou itself, it is not so good in my humble opinion, I am afraid. It feels more of city shopping mall, instead of an arts venue. With that said, Pompidou is still a great place to visit if you can spare a few hours.

Both the experience of visiting the museum's surroundings and the institution itself is worth the trip. Just outside there are many people resting and enjoying live music. There are several street vendors, cute shops and establishments from the most diverse niches. Inside the museum, a vast collection, mainly of contemporary art.

At first sight seduced by the architecture of the modern clothing period. The exhibited works are pleasant without transcendent beings. Somewhat disappointed even sometimes by some who for some might not be up to the place, its prestige and its history. Despite everything, the main gallery is just stunning. The spaces are ventilated allowing the works to fully express themselves. Museum to visit despite everything.

They have a self guided VIP (Very Important Pieces) tour of 20 of their most famous works of art which is wonderful. Excellent modern art collection. I used the illustrated VIP map as a scavenger hunt with my daughter to see if she could find the pieces!

If you are interested in modern paintings, it is a very good museum! It is recommended to those who think about the caustic rain because it is until 9:00 pm when the museum pass starts. Sang chapel / It seems to die. I think the modern museum is good, but the modern museum is really doing this kind of art, so I went around the hall. I have more sculptures and fixtures than paintings.

It is a polycultural establishment born from the desire of President Georges Pompidou, a great lover of modern art, to create in the heart of Paris an original cultural institution entirely devoted to modern and contemporary creation where the visual arts would be associated with books, drawing, music as well as cinema.

Beautiful place inside and out. We can go a whole day without seeing the time go by. Very nice view over Paris on the top floor.

Please make sure you like modern and contemporary art before you buy a ticket. If you think it is not your style, just purchase the panorama ticket only, which will give you amazing views from level 5, but does not include entry into the museum.
The customer service wasn't great, with the information desk pointing our family of 5 (2A, 3C) in the wrong direction, with little or no interest or kind greeting. We were then redirected by another member of staff to the correct entry, again with no interest or kind greeting.
The men's toilets were FILTHY. Not sure why, when there is a lovely clean museum they want us to be impressed with, but behind the scenes was disgusting.

Beautiful sunset view. The indications to buy tickets are very confusing. You re better off buying them online ahead of time, particularly at busy times. There were no indications that you could not buy special exhibit tickets at the regular counter and they directed us to the self check out where we had to wait again in line for a while. You also need to have your ticket already to use the coat check so you can t even save time by queuing at both at the same time. The public here is very bourgeois.

A strange building that appears in a mixture of traditional buildings.
That is the Pompidou Center.

A place that mixes the Museum of Contemporary Art and the library.
But the contemporary art in the collection may be a little old.

The Pompidou has an amazing modern art collection displayed in an awesome building with great views of the city. I love the Matisse and Kandinsky paintings they have on display, and there is an especially beautiful room of Matisse cut-outs. I'm not usually a fan of contemporary art, but their collection is constantly changing and I have seen a lot of great works.

Also they have a lovely (albeit pricy) restaurant on the sixth floor which has great views of the city and very cool decor.

Very nice temporary and permanent collection, styles quite varied. I think everyone will find paintings that will please him according to his taste but of course we are in a museum, so we touch with the eyes and not with the hands

There is plenty to see here, and while we were looking forward to going, but we did not find it as interesting as some of the other Paris museums like the D'orsay, Rodin or Picasso museums. The worse part of the visit for my partner was when my partner was pretending to point at one the paintings for an image I was taking to send to a friend about where is Wally (no idea what it was myself), and one of the patrons/guards shouted at her to stop touching the paintings, she tried to explain that she had not touched it, it only looked that way cause of the angle the photo was being taken.at. He never believed her and kept shouting don't touch the paintings, which upset her, unfortunately I found it funny, which never went down well. The 3 stars are based solely on what we thought of the museum.

Always beautiful permanent and temporary exhibitions! Rather new currents ... Beautiful exhibition spaces!
For tickets, obliged to ask to make a resa on the internet because more direct sales. It takes a bit of time but we were able to get back to Expo Bacon.
Do not forget to admire the building itself and the view it offers on the roofs of Paris and some great monuments! Too bad at the moment the esplanade is closed for work.

Queuing system outside is a joke. 2 huge queues and only 2 security scanners and then once through the doors the no ticket queue merges with the fast track queue making a mockery of the whole system.

What we found appalling when we visited was just in front of us in the fast track queue (already purchased tickets) were a lady and her daughter. They, it turned out, were in the wrong queue. The guy at the entrance wouldn't allow them in. He made them leave and rejoin the back of the other queue. It took 45 minutes to move through to the security scanning despite being fast track. The other queue moved no faster or slower. And once through the doors the queue you had chosen made no difference. No advantage had been gained by this lady joining the wrong queue and it would inconvenience nobody for her to have been allowed in... Petty officialdom at its worst.

If you are into your art then you will more than likely enjoy the Pompidou. I've never really been into art and to be honest I found the actual building to be much more interesting than the exhibits inside. It's described as an inside out building and is pretty cool with a great view of Paris from the top. The good thing about the Pompidou is they have their own app you can download to your phone so no need to pay for an audio guide

About CENTRE GEORGES POMPIDOU

Centre Georges Pompidou is a world-renowned cultural institution located in the heart of Paris, France. It is home to the first collection of modern and contemporary art in Europe, as well as a wide range of exhibitions, performances, debates, and activities for children. The Centre's iconic architecture and stunning views of the Marais-Beaubourg neighborhood make it one of the most popular tourist destinations in Paris.

The Centre Georges Pompidou was established in 1977 as a tribute to former French President Georges Pompidou. Its mission was to create a space where people could come together to explore and appreciate modern art and culture. Today, it remains one of the most important cultural institutions in Europe.

One of the key features that sets Centre Georges Pompidou apart from other museums is its focus on contemporary art. The museum's collection includes works by some of the most influential artists of our time, including Pablo Picasso, Henri Matisse, Salvador Dali, Andy Warhol, Jackson Pollock and many others.

In addition to its permanent collection, Centre Georges Pompidou hosts numerous temporary exhibitions throughout the year. These exhibitions cover a wide range of topics related to modern art and culture - from photography and film to design and architecture.

But Centre Georges Pompidou isn't just about visual arts - it also has an extensive program dedicated to performing arts. The museum regularly hosts concerts by some of today's top musicians as well as theater performances by leading companies from around the world.

For those looking for something more intellectual or thought-provoking than traditional entertainment options like movies or TV shows can offer there are also debates held at this venue which are open for public participation on various topics ranging from politics & economics through science & technology all way up until philosophy & ethics!

And if you're traveling with kids or looking for family-friendly activities while visiting Paris then look no further than Centre Georges Pompidou! There are plenty fun-filled workshops designed specifically for children that will keep them entertained while they learn about modern art & culture!

Finally we cannot forget about architecture! Designed by Renzo Piano & Richard Rogers this building has become an icon not only because it houses such an impressive collection but also due its unique design which features exposed pipes colorful escalators that run outside building walls giving visitors amazing views over city rooftops making this place truly unforgettable experience!

In conclusion if you're planning trip Paris then be sure include visit at least once during your stay because there really isn't anything else quite like it anywhere else on earth!
