Amazed! Modern and contemporary art at its best!! I wouldn't visit it again on an admission-free day though (1st Sunday of each month). Too crowded and very (very!) long queue to collect our stuff from the cloakroom.

Is an interesting place for people who enjoy modern and contemporary art. The views of Paris are awesome (saw sacre cour here was incredible). The first Sunday of the month the entrance is free for the most important galleries. Additionally they have a public library open til 10pm.

The permanent exhibition is very rich. Temporary exhibitions are uneven, not always relevant. The top floor of the building has a terrace offering one of the best views of old Paris.
Taking the elevator to go up, slowly get out of the center of Paris and stop just above the roofs is pleasant.
The cinema offers a rich cultural activity. The library, despite the waiting time, has documents that are subject to permanent renewal and is therefore at the forefront of knowledge.

When I first saw the Centre Pompidou, I thought it was a little ugly. At least in comparison to older Parisian buildings and churches. But I'll forgive it because a) it's a modern art gallery and b) the view from those escalators was the best I saw in my brief trip to Paris. You can take in Notre Dame, the Eiffel Tower and Sacre Cour practically uninterrupted. If I'm being honest, it's the view over Paris that's making me give Centre Pompidou such a high rating.

Orse Louvre Orange Last seen the night before returning home. The top two floors are an art museum, and only one floor is free to use with the Museum Pass. Dali, a place where you can see various works of contemporary artists such as labyrinths, it was a fun place to have creativity.

Everything has already been said about a constantly evolving museum that amazes you every time ... I only needed a few minutes to realize that the entrance was from the top floor but the outside climb offers a breathtaking view of Paris.

Viewed the outside area of this building and it was full of pipes and coloured sections. I was going to visit inside until I saw prices at the entrance for tickets after reading online that it was a free place to visit. I like the design of the stairs.

The architecture is original and unusual that we can even enjoy the beautiful view of Paris if we climb by modern escalators.

I visited especially for the exhibition on Cubism, which was very interesting and Susie enriching.

This place is made for lovers of modern and revolutionary art.

A high place of contemporary living creation that offers to see outside a magnificent entanglement of colorful and huge pipes and which protects a magnificent and large library and a museum with permanent and temporary exhibitions that opens our minds to the world , on others .

I had already been to Beaubourg a few years ago. today, the exterior is reduced to appalling conditions. dirty discolored paint broken and unrepaired glass. and the disposition at the present moment is of secondary importance. and it seems that the French have had enough of this Italian-English masterpiece.

Fun to go to! I am not very interested in modern art, but it was easy to get into and the view from the top is fantastic. It's also great to go in the tubes - it feels like you're a hamster. 8/10.

Perfect place to find inspiration for photographers and artists from all over the world. Spacious galleries and various genres. You can also enjoy one of the best views of Paris skyline from the 5th of the museum.

It houses many works by artists of the past such as Monet, Van Gogh, Degas, Picasso, etc. Besides the works of these artists it is possible to admire temporary works by artists of today. Some are really well done and they reflect a lot about today's society. Recommended!

The "pompishlags" present in front of the center are very welcoming and have an incredible community spirit, while remaining respectful and open-minded. Don't be panicked by their extravagant quickdraws, they are people with a big heart, always ready to get to know each other.

Modern art has an image that makes it difficult for amateurs to get involved, but all the works collected in Pompidou are interesting and studying. You can enjoy the sunset on the top floor and the Eiffel Tower. Since it is open until 20:00, there are many people who seem to be returning from work after sunset.

Contemporary art gallery. Paths prepared for thousands of tourists marked on the outside with tapes. That day empty. The permanent exhibition starts with Chagala, but it only gets weirder over time.

Having been to the Renzo Piano exhibition in London recently I couldn't resist seeing his most iconic building; I didn't go inside but I don't think you need to as quite literally all the building's internal services are presented on the exterior, complete with an 80's primary colour scheme for added theatrical value!

This remains one of my favourite places in Paris, the views of the city from the top two floors are some of the best.
As for the art, while I am by no means a modern/contemporary art aficionado, in fact I generally dislike both, I do appreciate that some of the very best pieces available can be found here.

Excellent collection of modern art. I particularly loved the Kandinskys, but overall the variety of pieces in their permanent collection was impressive. The view from the top floor was in itself worth the trip in my opinion. We ate lunch at Georges, the cafe in the museum, and were pleasantly surprised by the list of vegetarian options. Note that although the view from Georges is great, you don't need to dine there to get a great view from the Pompidou top floor.

I think the number one in Paris is Orshego, and number two is windblown.
Even if you do not like contemporary art, there are many general art works, and contemporary art works can look around and find good works that you like.

Souvenirs are also fun and full of things to buy.

Lots of construction going on at the moment. Prices are high if you want to drink something in the cafe's around centre Pompidou. The fountain is fun. And there are some nice vintage shops in the area.

Stunning array of modern Art and very easy to spend two to three hours here. Nicely curated and hung so you can move easily back and forth between pieces to get a sense of how artists intertwine and respond to each others' work. Some rooms have been designed to reflect the collecting habits and tastes of 19th century collectors. I always revisit the several Kandinskys Gris's and Braques they have on show and usually find something to see that I've not spotted before, I never have a sense of over-familiarity here. During this visit the centre were showing an exhibition dedicated to all aspects of the development of the Beat Poets et al, and to be honest I was expecting it to be a bit obsequious and sparse. I was so wrong. If you haven't seen it - go. Now. It was so impressive, and despite often being previously deeply annoyed by reading and listening to Ginsberg talk about his experiences with all the Beats I found the display of his photographs and post dated captions moving and an insight into a history I'd mainly only read about. There was so much to see and hear (and I don't want to spoil the experience for anyone by cataloguing everything), but for me the highlight was seeing Kerouac's rolled out full length original version of OTR. I have never been obsessed or even inspired by the cult of Cassady and co, but still felt the breath knocked out of me to see this piece of work in the 'flesh'. So even if means making a special trip to Paris to see this exhibition, it is well worth the time and effort.
