This convention center is beautiful. I cant speak to specific cons or how crowded they get and thus make things difficult to navigate. But the location of javits is incredibly convenient, its huge, and very well put together, and even with 100k people the temperature is fine. The only reason it doesnt get 5 stars is the wifi straight up doesn't work and in most areas you cant really get phone signal.

This is a big convention center, but not so big it is easy to get lost in. It is easier to get in and out of, and find places to eat and go to the bathroom and have meeting spaces in this convention center. I have been to other convention centers and they must co-design them with prison architects and labyrinth makers to make it impossible to get out of. Great design and lay out and pretty good services are offered.

I have gone here for bookcon and dragcon, two very different events. The Javits center is always well staffed and clean regardless of the crowd. There is a woman who works the register at the food court who is a delight. She keeps things moving with a strong but friendly hand.

Humungous place with great facilities. Just minutes away by foot from the Ferry to Weehawken (NJ), The Empire State building, The Vessel and numerous food joints. Parking is extremely limited.

Salon du Chocolate NY was really good! There were lots of vendors with all kinds of chocolate, demo show, hot chocolate, and the best fashion show! This is a two-day exhibition inviting vendors in NY and other states so you can enjoy samples of numerous brands. I saw some colorful chocolate with special shape and chocolate liquor that were great as a gift. You can buy in this event or get discounts for ordering online. Better to go there earlier on the first day because the fashion show was held that day. Plus, it was crowded and the vendors sold most of their products in few hours.

Amazing convention center with an all glass structure that is both "green" and beautiful. Tons of space for exhibits and trade shows with plenty of different areas with varying sizes to accommodate a variety of needs.

The Javits center is large enough to host a variety of events. The number of booths that were available in the center was large. The different areas were laid out logically. The information center helpers were very nice

I am here at least 4 times a year for different shows. It s a good location and lots of room, just no close parking that isn t outrageous but it s NYC and don t think you ll get a drink & snack for under 20, otherwise it s good.

Very big place for conventions. Bathrooms very clean. workers are on the clock with keeping that bathroom clean. There are more than one bathrooms there. I think they're two sets of bathrooms there there may be more not sure. Staffing and the commute isn't bad

Great experience! Got there at 9:30ish in the AM. So much cool stuff and exclusives. Staff very friendly as expected and food was really good in the food court! Comic Con never disappoints. Cool and friendly people in general and lots of cool outfits.

I've come here for a couple of things including the international auto show and the franchise expo. Nice venue I recommend you buy your beverages or food prior to arrival the prices are a bit high.

Much too crowded. There were kids jumping in and out of the cars and I couldn't even get into any of them. You think the parents would say something to their kids and try to correct their bad behavior but no. Horrible class of people there. Everyone very rude and obnoxious

A big, wide, well lighted place by the Hudson River but you got to prepare to walk some distance if you are commuting from somewhere. We were here for the print fair, which wasn't crowded that day. I enjoyed my time here.

I was there for the New York Times Travel Show. Easy to get to. Take either 1) 7 Train ends at Hudson Yards, short walk to Javits Center or 2) A/C/E Train at 34th/Penn Station and about 10 mins walk. Get your food/drink BEFORE you get into the center. Plenty of "street meat" & hot dog trucks along the way. I also recommend Maison Kayser if you want to sit down and eat. The best thing about Javits Center was $4 bag check. They check luggage as well as coat, all for the same price of $4 per item. Best $4 I spent this weekend was dropping off my heavy tote carryon for only $4 while I walked around the convention before heading to JFK!

I went to the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center for the NY Auto Show and it was phenomenal. The place itself was great and spacious and the event was very appealing. If you plan on eating there though, you'll have to spend quite a bit.
