This Convention Center is one of the biggest I ever seen. With a modern design it could fit at the same time four or five different events, all of them in perfect ubications but their floors and distribution.
Very kind personnel are working there and they are really helpfoul.

i've been to javitz center various times but the new york city comic con keeps bringing me back. the spacious venue serves as a great place for thousands of fans, companies, and merchants to meet up over the weekend. the escalators always work, but the place always seem to be under construction for some reason. will it ever be completed?

They loaded my truck in 14 hours!!!
I had 2 stops, they loaded it in wrong order.
And they refused to fix.
Never come back here again.

Huge convention center with amazing public transportation near by, I've gone to the past 4 NYIAS here and I have to say they have been amazing. The theatrics are second to none. The content is amazing, and the facility is kept clean and reasonable pricing on concessions too! They even have complimentary coat check

NY Comic Con is always amazing. I also go to a few other events at the Javits center. It is really really big. The place is so big that you really want to understand what door you are entering before you go because it will actually change the directions to get there. You can loose 30 minutes circumnavigating the building if you enter on the wrong side.

This convention center is like a small city within the city. The location is a bit out of the way, but that makes sense considering the size of the place. Every time I have been here it has been very clean and even when it s packed there are spaces to get away from the crowds.

If you need a quieter space to get away from the crowds and regroup I suggest going down to the halls near the food court, but not quite into the food court. They are close to a restroom, much quieter, and even though there are a lot of people you can find a spot where you aren t right next to anyone.

I've been going to the Jacob Javits Convention Center for years due to several conferences. It's a great facility, with plenty of food options and clean restrooms. The staff is great and they do a great job of adapting the Center due to the different types of conferences there. The one negative is that it can get crowded, but it really depends on the conference type. For example, the car shows do not get crowded, but New York ComicCon gets really crowded. Overall, this is a great place to go, but it might get crowded if the event pulls in a lot of people.

Don't really need to say much cause it is a very popular place with something always going on inside. Its famous around the world. Plus it looks real cool on the outside and inside.

In one week, I was able to wear Mixed Reality/Augmented Reality devices, attend a Vice President Joe Biden + Governor Cuomo economic discussion, witness multiple fashion shows, and the opening of train line 7 made it MUCH easier to get there.

LOVE IT!

Comic Con is coming, so is the Auto Show, the Food Show, Steam Con.

Umm, yeah. So, 5 stars baby, all the way.

The javits center is a 4 star, the Salon Du Chocolat is a 2 star unfortunately.
It was cool to see the Variety of Chocolate and Creativity the Chocolatiers had. We have never experienced an event like this before with chocolate but their were some things that could have been adjusted. When given a bag I got excited because I thought we were about to get a lot of chocolate after paying to enter but the samples were barely a bite size and ontop of that with the lines things got really frustrating. We had to also pay extra to buy chocolate their. I would rather look at the website, see the line up and check out those peoples instagrams instead.... sorry.

It all depends why you're here, but the Javits Center is a pretty good host for a number of things. I used to work at a bed and breakfast in the area and we had guests who went there often. None of them had complaints, whether they were here for ComicCon or something else. I've been here, too, and found it perfectly functional and nice.

The Javits has held a lot of conventions and events that I have attended. It's very large with lots of space to spread out and not feel completely smashed in with other people. However, I knocked off a star for accessibility. There is only 1 elevator for use by the public, and waiting for it takes ages. There's always people in the elevator when it gets to your floor, so you can't get on. In my case, I had someone with me in a wheelchair who needed ample space in the elevator. We waited about 10-15mins to finally get into the elevator, and there was actually a line forming behind us of other people who walkers or baby strollers or wheelchairs. Having just 1 (small) elevator to service such a high volume space is nonsensical. You would think a massive venue like this would be able to cater to their audience a little better.

Awsome place to work, I enjoyed the security of 1st. Waving my electronic pass, then going to the union desk to find my name check that, then goto my designated spot on the show floor and signing in. Yeah loved that lol
