I hereby write, my review of shame. I attended the 2013 international Auto Show. Once you were in you were not allowed to leave the building - no re-entry. Why you ask? Well it was so you were forced to buy their substandard, union labor backed, food. Overpriced and ill served. The entire event was very unorganized - early admission ticket holders were treated to a security detail who had no idea early admission tickets existed. We were almost denied access until i made a scene and forced security to look further into it. Their excuse - "sorry, we've all only been on the job for two days". Sad excuse, shame on the show.

Clean and modern space as noted, but their glass ceiling was supposed to be broken on November 8th (was reason I went). Instead it remained fully intact - just fogged up a bit by hysterical millennials sobbing. Very sad!

Very large and large to host events with thousands of attendees. The downside is that it has very few toilets and outlets to charge your phone and seats, so you have to be on the floor and get ready to make a long queue when using the bathrooms (if they are women wait twice) and stacion is to charge much worse battery, go prepared with an external battery because it is very difficult to get current unless you have a European to American converter.

Great conference hall. I have been lucky enough to come to Comic Con several times and the truth is that it is a joy. I do not put 5 stars because the level of the food they serve inside for me leaves a lot to be desired. At the time of eating better leave the premises and look for a restaurant nearby

Super big building, everytime I come I always see something new, this time I was just helping to build a booth for the convention, so I got to wall almost everywhere, if you like products, or love trade shows, this is a great place to do so. Always. Check their website to follow with the events. They have food court, Starbucks and even a chase ATM

Eh, I understand that there aren't many locations in the city to have shows/conventions, but I've never had the best experiences here. Their food options are subpar and for the events I've gone to, I wouldn't be able to leave and come back. The space is decent though and it's accessible enough so ultimately the venue won't stop me from going to good events there.

I have to say right off the bat that the lines are fast, and the center is massive. (Obviously)

I go for the spring NYIAS (New York International Auto-Show) and it is nicely laid out and provides a lot of walkway space when going through.

I will say that some parts are a little confusing, and the layout on where food is located is not laid out in a way of ease.

One other thing (that doesn't go against the center) is the amount of automakers there is low. High-end automakers should come to NYIAS. There are plenty of high level people in NY and surrounding states that come here looking for high-end cars. Although Porsche and Maserati is there, Ferrari, Bentley, nor other high end automakers go, like TESLA, or Rolls-Royce. BMW also left last year. Even though Manhattan Motorcars bring the best, there aren't individual booths for those cars. There are just too many low budget brands there that don't interest most people.

Overall, (back to the center itself) it is a nice, airy environment.

After all these years you still can not get here by subway. I usual have to get off at 34th St and walk to the westside (faster than a cross town bus). Nice that they now have a Citibike station right outside so now I can just hop on a bike to get there and back to the subway.

Inside is nice but rather plain except when looking out through the front glass. There is are all no good place to eat and I usually wind up getting a dirty water dog outside or leaving my event to eat.

I have attended a couple of New York International Auto Shows (NYIAS) here and an ASIS NYC security event. The venue is well set up for max convenience and use of space. The staff and security are very helpful and professional. Bathrooms are accessible everywhere.

Every year, right after Thanksgiving, the local dental societies of Manhattan, Brooklyn, and Staten Island put on a dental meeting. It offers continuing education, and exhibitors consisting of dental manufacturers, sales outlets, and individuals offering their ideas and products. This occupies the entire second level, plus parts of the first and third levels. Over the years, I have watched a fairly dysfunctional convention space improve to the point where the technology for presentations is up-to-date, most of the facilities (including rest rooms) function correctly, the leaky roof appears mostly fixed, and the food offerings have expanded and become mostly edible. If the intense construction going on in the area includes transient space (hotels), one of the big shortcomings will be overcome.
