Unfortunately, the park is getting on in years. The staff in the Adventure Factory and Grand Cafe prefer to chat rather than serve. More showers would be nice in the Aqua Mundo.
Repairs to the dishwasher were carried out immediately.
We went out to eat twice. Once at Nonna's. That was good. On the last evening we were in the grill restaurant. Top hospitality, attentive staff and fantastic food-even if not cheap. Children's burgers would be great here.
We had a VIP bungalow. Unfortunately, the towels weren't all clean when they were unpacked. And it wasn't vacuumed properly either. The bread service came very differently. Sometimes at 7 a.m., sometimes at 9:30 a.m. It would be nice if you could tell preferences beforehand, we had 5 raisin rolls for several days, 4 of us 5 don't like raisins .... There is a lot to be reworked with prices ...

It was very nice but my group of friends and I all got big wounds from the mites walking around in the sheets, we had already seen on the news that it is very dirty there that disappointed us but they have to do something about the sheets because we all now have large wounds and that is not nice
Nice close to the water and only a stone's throw to the sea. For older children super suitable, unfortunately for small children not too much play possibilities. Very nice is the car only on arrival / departure days are allowed so the small undisturbed romp / games.
I like the maritime flair, the marina and the huge clean beach with several cool beach clubs near the resort. The park is constantly being renovated, there are still some areas that are a bit rocked. Overall, Port Zeeland is very nice and ideal for day trips to the area.
Great weather, great location especially if you like boats. Shared facilities (pool, restaurants etc) are a bit worn out and small though. The buffet restaurant is your best option by far. Don't forget to check out all the nearby beaches and bring or rent a bike.
Good park with good adapted measures during corona time. You can still enjoy it here, swimming is possible by appointment, every day. Have been coming here for years with great pleasure. Only the Germans do not like the measures, so that is a shame.
Just like the year before, had a good holiday. Children enjoyed the beach at the park itself. Friendly staff. Also worth exploring the area (Ouddorp and Burgh-Haamstede)
Nice house, beautiful park, beautiful environment, friendly service. Aquadome more focused on younger children, but certainly fun. Many activities. Nice to spend a weekend.
Long weekend between Christmas and New Year's Eve in VIP house 299 with my wife and 2 dogs. Chosen for this park so that the dogs could also get a breath of fresh air by the sea. Het Huisje was ala centerparcs. You can see that it has been renovated, but apparently the door and window frames do not need to be renovated.
As always, cars are always left after they have unloaded everything at the park. Great to warn people with notes but unfortunately some people remain anti-social. I would say write down the license plate and when they come back refuse the car from the park.
The TV on the fireplace is quite large. 50 or 55 inches. Too large for the viewing distance from the couch. You could see it better from the table. The TV could have been hung better on the wall. Add to that the channels are not in HD (or the TV is of poor quality) and it looked annoying.
The oven in the kitchen is placed very high (too high). I am 1.75 and my wife 1.60. I could reach it, but if the oven was hot, I had to be careful not to burn my arm at the oven door. My wife could not even .. quite a dangerous situation. The dishwasher was placed next to the tray for the pans. Not really smart when you want to replace this outlet. In short, I understand that the kitchens are being purchased en masse to keep costs down, but that has not been thought through smartly.
The fenced dog outlets are many in the park, but much too small. If your dog is not a chihuahua or fikkie, he can hardly move in it. For our medium-sized varieties, which need exercise, it is impossible to do.
We also had dinner one evening at the grill. The soup as a starter was lukewarm to cold and you can see that the quality is not high when compared to an average grill restaurant. The price you pay after that is less.
The sauna and the large 2-person pool in the cottage were super, even the sandwiches were delivered around 8 o'clock in the morning. Crockery was also sufficient.
The park itself is neat and better than many other center parks because this park was taken over by CP a few years ago.
As mentioned, this park is 2 km from the Noorderstrand (brewery dam) wonderful to get a breath of fresh air and to see the dogs enjoy.
All in all great weekend alone if you want more luxurious and better food then you might want to look better for flying holidays abroad. The prices are about the same with a week all inclusive. Quite big money what CP requires.
Beautiful place, beautiful nature and beautiful site. Very strict staff (more than necessary) very uncomfortable. "The rules above all" very little desire to help the customer, to be understood, even more at the reception. Nothing in French, almost nothing in English. Dutch and German dominate (center park group yet bought by a French group ...?) We are however 4 in the group to speak Flemish frequently, the Dutch accent is marked and no desire to be understood by speaking Dutch slower or by articulating. A lot of things closed with the Covid 19, or file bcp longer by health measures, without really that it is clearly marked on their site ... They have their own rules, probably known to the Dutch but coming from a foreign country , nothing is explained to you, ease, you do not speak Dutch fluently, you do not know the customs there, then you "get in trouble" ... and yes ... Otherwise, very beautiful place, quiet, family, relaxing, everything is doable by bike, lots of relaxation ... Francophones having no basis in Dutch or German abstain !!!
The cottage is perfectly correct and equipped basic. The pool will deserve more amenities. Indeed the wild river is very soft and the toboggan with buoy is very short. The mini golf is very nice
Only went for a day visit. Great for kids and great indoor stuff when the weather is bad. Cannot comment on the rooms or service as we did not stay overnight nor eat there. Although the facilities are excellent, it looks like it could an expensive getaway.
For the great location, there is the second star. For the park only 1. The houses are okay. The rest is dirty or broken and the food in the park was enjoyable on 1 of 4 evenings.
Nice park in a grand location. Well maintained and pleasant to stay. Cottages are fairly spacious and reasonably affordable out of season. It is in a remote corner of the Netherlands.
Typical Center Parcs. Especially nice, right on the water. Small marina. 10 minutes walk to a beautiful North Sea beach with a variety of water sports.
Average Center Parcs. Very noisy and most accomodation is ready for an update. The WiFi in the "cottage" (which was really an apartment) randomly worked one day and not the other one. The stock at the supermarket is laughable, be sure to go by car and visit a town nearby for groceries.
The first problem on arrival: instead of 3 p.m., our 12-person premium house was only ready at 4 p.m. Nice, we got food vouchers as compensation. Moved into the house the second disappointment: the promised towels were not there - there was no compromise: Had to borrow towels for 6 euros per person. The house itself is ideal for 12 people: large dining table, huge sofa corner, two flat screens, two bathrooms with sauna and shower bath and two separate toilets. Kitchen was small, but perfectly okay. Large Ami-style refrigerator with an ice cube machine.
Nevertheless, the house was very shabby: mold in the bedrooms, on the ceilings, walls and curtains, bathrooms old and somehow slightly disgusting, shower curtains only hung on a few hooks and looked really nasty, the floor in the house was not mopped or vacuumed - so very dirty! Typically Dutch it was also very badly soundproofed, of course somehow unpleasant with 12 residents.
The complex itself is neat, spacious and pretty. It's about a 15-minute walk to the beautiful beach!
There are plenty of entertainment options, but there are many with a catch: the main attraction, the swimming pool, is small, packed and not heated enough. Far too few changing rooms, we had to move in the hallway. Group bikes for three, four or six people are fun, but almost fall apart. Roadworthiness questionable. In the "Adventure Factory" there is everything a player's heart desires: billiards, darts, pinball, air hockey and and and. However, everything is extremely expensive. Familyfriendly? Segways can only be rented with an instructor. How so? In other cities you can also try your hand at something? Only the super cool indoor mini golf course is recommended. We had never seen such crazy trains before.
All in all, the stay was great - which was more due to our group than to Center Parcs itself. Too many little things that spoil an actually relaxing weekend.
We were in a VIP house with our family. Beautiful bathroom, fully equipped house. Costs something, but then you also have something. Staff was super friendly.
Only discord was the Grand Cafe. When you consider how easy it is to make chips, schnitzel and fish and chips, it is quite clever that this is completely messed up. Fries too soft, schitzel too weak, too little sauce with fish and chips and also only on the fries (which were also not fried enough) and not on the fish.
Well, avoided the catering industry and had a nice meal in Ouddorp itself. We will definitely go back
Super nice park, if you like the sea I recommend you stay here. Nothing is more beautiful than watching the sun go down over the beautiful sea. Nice water sports clubs in the area
The accomodation (we had house # 270) was ok, but we had an ants invasion in a storeroom. The food in the center park restaurants all from our group of 9 felt not very good. The prices we found in any case justified but significantly excessive. Positive is the friendliness of the staff.
The 4th year we stay there for a weekend, neglected, cigarette butts from front door to street, on terrace, and full of dog poo bungalows for 6 people too small, little kitchen countertop, lots of flies in the inside terrace for us been the last time
Great location in the province of South Holland Zeeland. It lies directly on the Brouwersdamm, which separates the North Sea from the Binnenmeer. Suitable for families as well as for couples. Especially the apartment and the headland are recommended. Unfortunately, the food in the main building of the center park is not recommended. Bad quality for an expensive price. Better to look outside the plant.
I don't like to complain online, but I must have said this. Visited a park outside Belgium for the first time in thirty years. I was charmed by the fun children's cottage online ... What a disappointment. The bungalow was dirty, the playroom cold and without light, and if you cannot use that space, this bungalow became very tight for four ... Problem reported to the reception next day and they came up with a nice alternative as a solution. Too bad that we had to move everything that far on foot ... Swimming pool nice, shower area and sanitary facilities often very dirty !! Park fine, but smaller than I am used to from the parks in Belgium. I found the staff even less so. Service in restaurants and bars was against their liking, lifeguards weren't exactly friendly or checked on their mobile phone, luckily I can swim;) Of course it makes it a lot less fun if you can't even put a smile off, especially to my social 5 year old son I thought the reactions were often cool! Too bad for a child-sized stay. I will choose a Belgian park again next year!
Beautiful place with plenty of activities. Great to see the pool open late so you can swim before or after tea, or both if you like. :) As English speakers we had no problems understanding instructions for activities as everything is translated.
Clearly one of the older Centre Parcs. Still a good one though. Beaches nearby are really nice. Ouddorp is an easy bike ride away, lovely little town. Recommend the Plus supermarket in nearby Scharendijke.
Center Parks with a fantastic location, on a harbor and close to the beach and Zeilclub, beautiful renovated houses, nice swimming pool with enough seats, very nice area for walking and cycling, many activities for young and old
It is very hot there, you can say that it is too hot and the slides and the whitewater course are just nothing. The wave pool is 1.40 deep so you can stand upright in the waves.
The 8 person's house was (compared to the other parcs) small and has dangerous stairways for little kids. Also the house was full of dog hairs and the dishes were dirty! There were more like this problems, so I went to the front desk and the lady wasn't interested. The aquamundo was also a very big dissapointment. Closing an hour before closing time, slides that suddenly stopped and so on... One time place, never go again to this place! This place gives centerparcs a very bad name. The restaurants are a little bit expensive but the service engine staff are awesome!
Nice park in itself. Upon entering the house it smelled terribly of sewage air. Staff is friendly and helpful. Toilet door jammed and squeaked. The gates at the bottom and top of the stairs also squeaked terribly.
Seers nice facility but in the swimming pool little variety, and in the turbo slide wait times of 20 minutes are not uncommon, but in spite of the beautiful is the food in the pool itself quite expensive but what is normal if you think that it is of course right in the park
Nice park, in nice location. In some places a bit dated, but house was still very clean, or as they say here: very clean! There are many Belgians, very cozy.
Nice pool, only downside is if you want to order some food at the bar or get some drinks and it is busy it takes a long time before you are helped and once you are helped you have to wait for the food because only one person orders and must also prepare the food.
Very nice especially if you have a house to the marina. Very clean park. Unfortunately the house was not optimally clean. Slices very dirty and in the apartment a few things. Prices in the restaurants a bit high but the quality is right. You can walk to the beach for a while, but it's worth it. We like to visit the park again.
