Great Center Parcs, nice swimming pool and good facilities. You don't have to leave the park to enjoy yourself.

A really nice park. Big but clear. Larger market domes than usual, but very nicely designed. Of course, everything looks a bit older and rundown, so no five stars. Nevertheless, everything is clean. The Aqua Mundo could tolerate a few more pools, or different pools, and one, two water slides more. However, the wild water course is almost enough.

That is not what I mean. It was the first time I heard about the park.

Normally you would have to write two reviews. Once for the park and its facilities and once for the bungalows.
The facilities in the park and the staff is just great. The friendliness of the staff is simply very good, but that too cannot tear everything out.
We were in this park about 25 years ago, it was probably still the same curtains and mattresses!
Curtains with mold stains and mattresses where you first roll into a hole. I don't want to go into any further shortcomings in the bungalow. However, you can also get a certain basic care and cleanliness in an older bungalow (wash off the heating, do not touch up vacuuming under the beds and doors with different shades of white)!
Even when bungalows are being renovated, you also have to make the cleaning team and technician team a little more sensitive.
In the next year we will start a new attempt there and then I hope that I can revise my review with one or two stars more.
As already described above, the staff should have deserved 6 stars, but the management shouldn't rest on it!

I go there with my family every year. Friendly people, great nature and bungalows. You can book activities such as riding lessons, archery, etc. You have a small shopping center and a swimming pool ...

Center parcs too expensive and worthless houses, the old junk still from the past

I was more than satisfied with the holiday in Het heijderbos.
The bungalows are practical and comfortably furnished, unfortunately they are a bit old due to the use and the time and the park would do itself a favor by removing the carpets. All in all, nothing you can't overlook with a pair of flip-flops.
I found the leisure activities within the facility great. Above all, something else was always thought about for children and so there was always something to participate in. What was very important to me was the hospitality and helpfulness of the staff at all times. These are general characteristics that I really appreciate about the Netherlands, but Het heijderbos has set an incredibly good example. Were there one afternoon at an Orry & friends performance and I have to say you had the feeling that the actors are really there with heart and feeling. Very nice for the little ones. And the nachos that you can order at the tables are more than recommendable.
Another advantage is that the travel time was very short for us and the facility is very easy to reach.
We would love to come back and wish the entire Het Heijderbos team all the best for the future.

We liked it a lot. Visited the Center Park in Zone 8 in November. Very idyllic forest area. We have been to the Aqua Mundo every day. Take with you: a diving mask! In the Jungle Dome it was even fun for us adults in the climbing park. The area is excellent for walking. Many hiking trails, which can be reached with a short distance, z. In the park "De Masduinen". Groningen / Arnhem very close to shopping.

You don't have to leave the park. And park is very beautiful in nature. Houses are very old-fashioned.

Personal house was not really clean.
Lighting for the house was broken you see nothing when it is dark I had already fallen with bags in hand I reported this and nothing has been done about it.
At grandcafe it took quite a long time before you could order and then pay there is no structure in the system of the staff running together.
The pool was over saturday you still had no seat.

The park can be fun. But everything is badly arranged. If you have reserved extra services, you will have to check them on arrival to get them. And that is not possible through the app wasr centerparca says the app is great. But you can't do anything with the app. So you have to go to the supermarket in Corona time because of your reservation of the barbecue. Which then was not there. So it became a baking tray. For your breakfast buffet you had to visit a restaurant to reserve a time slot there. Let it all run through that app and also respond via the app that you have reserved and immediately ask when you want to do it.
Houses are musty and have too little ventilation.

We were only in the Aqua Mundo. It is very nicely designed, but for 20 euros entrance was not enough for us. There are definitely better Aqua Mundos. Pity eig: /

Nice and big park. Enough to do for young and old. Is in need of renovation.

Nice and quiet park. Beautiful greenery and car-free. Enough to do for the kids.

Everything is there. It is a pity that it is outdated, but it is said to be completely renovated.

the pool is bad the whitewater and the wave pool you almost drink my father had a concussion because he collided with a stone in the middle of the whitewater course and the waves of the wave pool are very high my father almost drowned and the houses stink and it is very expensive I will not book this

Very nice swimming pool, unfortunately a bit crowded.

Can't take the pressure anymore if there is a busy weekend like the 4 days in the area. They have forgotten to use extra cleaners so that you are only allowed in the house at 4.30 pm. MI ridiculous !!

Nice park, but the houses are in a very dirty old condition. Musty smell in the comfort bungalows, no sink on the toilet. Cobwebs everywhere, though cleaned. The attractions are great also the swimming pool etc. However, you have to pay extra for almost everything.

Unfortunately in this Center Park a little grubby, indefinable liquids on the ceiling, toilet very old and accordingly. Laundry in the toilet not available, you have to wash your hands once across the "apartment" in the bathroom. Lick !!! The prices in the shop beat all previously visited center parks to lengths ... already outrageous! WLAN also very moderate, download speed of less than a Mb had ... not seen for a long time something like that! Conclusion, poor facilities and for how almost everything else (thanks to the euro) just too expensive!

My rating refers only to the fun pool! For a day guest is the price with 16 per person absolutely normal and comparable or even cheaper than with similar offers in the wider area (Aqualand or Aquamagis).
This bath is not for absolute slide fans who need a lot of variety ... BUT it is great for those who want variety and fun.
From the wave pool to the plunge pool, the wide slide, the small tube to the wild water canyon is really all the best.
The canyon in particular is ingenious, from the gentle ride in the outdoor area to the bang hard drop in the interior (with bruises guaranteed) and the finish in the dive pool. You can not get enough.
Gastronomy is reasonably priced and typical fast food with Dutch specialties.
A star suit because many corners look a bit rocked and one or the other stains can be found.

Some photos look very different from the real ones, it is very dusty and there are many bugs. I can't feel at home here, the style is also old-fashioned. I'am sorry!

Beautiful and clean Park, great location, you can make beautiful bike rides, and Gennep and Cuyk is worth a visit

More than 30 years ago we and our family also visited Heijderbos a few times. Now with our eldest son and his family, the cottage was fine, no criticism but next to us were 2 German youth groups, lots of drinks, music noise at night. Kindly addressed, no result. Such groups not next to a family with small children! Stricter action against roadside parking at the cottages, of course, exceptions for the disabled, but the entire "street" was full. So please pay attention to this!

Normally you could tell from the number of stars you give what we thought of this long weekend.
But you cannot give 0 stars.
The food in the all you can eat restaurant was nothing to sneeze at.
It was cold, leather chicken nuggets. The fries cold.
A steak that you are still grinding on 2 days later.
The beds are bad. Etc Etc Etc
For anyone who does not want to be here, must think 3 times.

Booked vip cottage for a mid week with family Really enjoyed the activities for/with the kids. Very nice en professional employees who really are helping and entertaining every body for a nice stay

Just back from a week heijderbos 11 month old baby house 411 stale densely grown mice weasels, and no sun and stink within a day all our clothes were damp stinking was missing everything. Paid a lot of money door buttons broken lighting broken, the first days only called with reception about what was broken and dirty, but action was taken immediately by sending a cleaning team. For the musty and damp we had to open windows and doors and turn on the heating. No light at all at the house you just got gloomy. Finally decided to say that you don't want a moist environment for seventeen hundred euros for a child of 11 months and moved to a lighter house on Wednesday. 111 vip cottage just like 411 everything was broken and our child had to skip an afternoon slap because there was a broken baby bed then he got a camping bed from the year block. Anyway he could sleep. And not damp but they are old houses from the 80s you can't dawr a young family with small children really terrible I thought it was the only thing we wanted a little bit of grass that our child could play outside on a play mat could not. Then he sat among the nettles. We were allowed to stay a little longer but that does not make it right I have asked for a refund and we luckily got it back. We no longer think centerparcs are scandalous anymore for so much money for old junk. and the renovated houses have been refurbished labbedepoepie, the belief is only a waste of money. Unfortunately there were several people who complained and saw and heard from other people plaza and swimming pool great people also know well about the bad houses. This is not good though. but no more fine for us

Very good, especially plan the bikes. No need to come with shopping, there is a shop where prices are not more expensive

A midweek Centerparcs heijderbos booked last minute with bungalow race. Eden cottage VIP 4 people taken and this was very well equipped with sauna, double bathroom and extra comfort. Really recommended. The park is well maintained. Aquadome is not really super big. A wave pool, one slide, a super fun whitewater course accessible from 5 years, four hot tubs, an aquarium that is too cold and a children's paddling pool for the little ones. In the Jungledome, however, you are quickly bored. Bowling needs to be renewed, but always nice to do with the family sometime. For the rest, a lot of extra entertainment is provided. The shows are often interactive. All in all had a very nice midweek in Heijderbos

The Market Dome has such a great atmosphere and makes you feel like you're on a day trip as well as on vacation.

The park is nice in the green. There are also many good activities. The park is already very old ... Our house was totally dirty and dusty, also our skylight was leaking, which is why ants are constantly crawling. When we arrived in our house, we also had direct vacuuming, as the ants crawling all over the kitchen and in each corner a spider sat. Simply disgusting. Once and never again!

The park and all amenities are top notch! But the outdated houses are really no longer possible. Fortunately they are renewing them. So check which house you book.

Cottages may be kept better, it all looks a bit run-down

Cottage was not super clean but okay. Food in buffet restaurant and Italian restaurant was good. We expected worse given some reviews. The pool is okay only the 'snorkeling zone' is a joke. Without your own diving goggles or chlorine goggles you will not see anything. Outside of that ridiculously small. However, what we found extremely disappointing were the absurdly high prices for drinks in the market dome. We had agreed with our children to also spend the entire Monday at the park. After all, it says everywhere that you can use all the facilities on both the arrival day and the day of departure. Just a pity that it is forgotten to mention that everything is closed except the pool. No bowling, jungle dome or miniature golf. No more heijderbos for us. Given the pretty high prices for a house you can get something more. But hey, they are full so this will not be a real reason for center parcs to change.

Had a fantastic time with the kids 30 years ago and now a great time with your grandchild. The houses have been refurbished, nature is still as beautiful

Nice park with slightly dated houses for a lot of money .. The grandchildren love it, so well .....

The park is beautiful, neat and well maintained. Unfortunately, this is the opposite with the cottages. Our 6 person house was not cleaned at all. We only had 4 outside chairs, 1 with three legs and the other had a big crack. The food at restaurant Evergreenz is unfortunately not recommended. Way too expensive for the quality they deliver. Due to the corona crisis, many activities were closed, or soon fully booked. Just wanting to do something impulsive is not an option. Everything has to be planned. In the pool there was also a lot closed.

Just returned from the Heijderbos.
Had a good holiday, had a great time.
Unfortunately on arrival, our cottage was not clean. Had early check-in but our cottage was only clean at 3.10pm. This is the third year in a row that this has been the case.

For the rest, a great holiday and a wonderful time.
We come here every year but I think next year we will go for a different holiday. Every year our holiday starts with hassle with the early check-in and we find this very annoying with young children.

Swimming pool was pretty full, it's quite expensive, but worth it.

Had a great weekend ... nice pool and lots of other fun things to do. The indoor jungle is also great fun for young kids.

The positive:
Nice staff, beautifully landscaped park and despite Corona, almost anything is possible - with restrictions, of course. But the staff try very hard and have clever ideas for solving problems. The swimming pool is great too.

Now the negative ...
Our bungalow was totally filthy. Dead animals on the walls and ceiling, butt stumps in the garden and the general condition is more than in need of renovation.
In general, shopping is way too expensive! (1L milk costs over 2 ) in the in-house pizzaschmiede the salami pizza costs 14 and the highlight was the highly touted buffet.
70 (!!!!!) for two people, so we had great expectations. In the end there was not even half of the advertised selection of meat, fish and pasta. Allegedly because of Corona, but the price stayed the same. The food was not tasty at all and the best thing was that a mosquito was baked in the "homemade" baguette.
There was no money back here, and apparently the manager didn't think it was particularly bad either.

Conclusion: I would not recommend this vacation to anyone, especially families with small children!

The children have fun there despite the rain. Aquamundo fabulous, the cottage was disgusting, the dishes in the cupboards were full of traces, the WC smelled like pee and so on

Not a nice place overall. The houses are clean but old. The whole park is not in a good condition, half is under construction and the other half looks like a virgin forest, not like a well kept park. This might be a plus for those who look for this. There is a fake little lake and a fake channel who now has only mud and dirty water. Many things are closed due to corona or they close early. In the evening there is nothing to do. The place looks deserted after 8pm. The only nice thing is Aqua Mundo. It has a nice pool and 2 nice water slides. Because of corona they let only a limited no of people inside which actually makes the experience better.

Still one of the most beautiful parks for me.
The activities are wide-ranging and offer something for every taste, so that families or groups can sometimes divide the interests accordingly. The complex itself is very quiet and designed so that everyone is looking for peace, this can also find. On the other hand, action and sports offers are waiting for all those who long for it.
Small drawback: The bungalows are not quite so contemporary but who spends his time in the bungalow?
