Great place for a morning walk. Some of the trails can be a little challenging if it's wet because they can become slippery. There's plenty of shade and really nice views. There are restrooms at the entrance and picnic tables.

Ok

This is a great hike, there really isn't anything similar in the metroplex. Very busy on weekends, but still the trails are not overly crowded. The escarpment trail is stroller/rugged wheel friendly, but the other trails are definitely for hiking only.

Beautiful trails and scenery. It's a great place to get your work out if you enjoy the open outdoors. The paths are clear and defined. Only issue is the description of which way the trails are leading you. They can get a bit confusing but in the end its worth it. Please remember to bring water, and use the bathroom before starting your journey

Me and a friend went on Sunday and we had a blast. The trails were marked well and gave heads up when you would hit another trail. It was near a road that was heavily had construction going. The trails had a great incline and could be used for all people for all fitness levels. There are some trails that are used more frequently so there will be runners and become heavy with traffic at times. On a Sunday there was not a big of a crowd, I would go afternoon 1 or 2. The trails had ponds and sights that were great to view and capture the scenary around you. Make sure you bring water because you will need it I promise you. People should visit it there is incredible nature walk that people need to see.

We have visited for about 8 years! Love it for what it's for. Today someone directing traffic hollered MASK while walking up! I've been three times this week and this is the first time someone told us we must wear a mask. My question is are you checking everyone in their cars going in while your directing traffic? Anyway, he then said we could go in without it. I passed on his aggressive offer.

We love the trails! Family friendly location for all ages. My parents love going with us when they come home for the holidays or vacation. Wonderful for kids and dogs. Bring lots of water good tennis shoes and expectation to find little creatures (butterflies, bunnies, insects, snakes, etc.). A good peaceful place, close to the city, but out from the mess!

This is a good place..I feel safe walking there when I do go alone. I forgot to potty - for lack of a better word - before I went and had no choice but to use their restroom & I was surprised to see how clean it was for an outdoor public restroom. Since I've returned to this trail I understand what it means when people say they love the smell of outdoors - there are parts that has a pleasant natural smell. If you want challenges there are various trails that will give you a challenge & there are parts that are suited for people who are limited with how far or much they can do. Overall I like this Preserve. Also, it is dog friendly for people that like to bring pets & the pets I've come across don't tend to get in others space for the people who are a little fearful or weary of dogs.

This is a good place for hiking during the weekends. It has several hiking trails; the best is Cedar Brake, a trail with some elevations and nice views. The park offers free parking and has some picnic tables to relax. There are many families walking with their dogs.

It was a trail in a forest. There was some ups and downs throughout in the way of trail. Some ups were little bit high. There was some spots of flowers and different birds with colorful butterflies. On the top of the trail there were a view point of the whole trailing zone with some part of city. The view was really refreshing. In between of the trail there was a pond. Beside the pond there was a rest taking place. From the rest taking place a beautiful view of hills can be seen with tortoise in the pond. The whole trailing zone was very energetic. Personally I have enjoyed lots in this forest trail.

Amazing place to go hiking in DFW! 10 miles of beautiful trails, great overlook spots and decent restrooms. It's a donations appreciated location, but if you go often, definitely definitely donate something. It was packed this past weekend with the great weather and if everyone there donated even $1, it could really go a long way.
