We did 3 trails and it was awesome. There is alot of ups and downs which can be very tiring but hiking is ment to do that. Lots of cute dogs too!

Great hiking trails, well maintained and some superb views. Did not take photos unfortunately

a must-go if you re in DFW area! the trails vary in difficulty & there is plenty of shade throughout. bring water & have fun!

Awesome hiking trails in a beautiful setting. You definitely forget you are in the city. I go at least once a week. Highly recommended.

Amazing moderate hiking spot. Beautiful views with a variety of challenging terrain. At times the amount of people can be daunting, but most have curtesy to let faster moving people pass. Cedar Brake is probably the longest & most difficult trail they have @ 2miles long. No bikes allowed-a plus for hikers, & the multitudes of terrain keep it fun every time you visit. Love this place! Would like to find more gems for hiking in the metroplex like it!

Great trails! Who knew you could find nature in the middle of DFW.

Super tranquil hiking trails. Many waste bins & seats along trails. Water fountains & restrooms available. Great place for dogs & families.

I love this place! It has a great variety of trails for beginners to more advanced trail-goers. It is pet friendly, clean and always a good time! 10 miles worth of trails.

This is one of the best and most accessible locations to hike in the Dallas area. I enjoy that mountain bikes aren t allowed and dogs must be leashed, and even when the parking lot fills up there is still plenty of room on the trails.

It's amazing, can be crowed during peak times, but everyone is nice and courteous. After the trail you will have received a full body workout!

Great place to hike for the whole family. Trials are easy to follow and they are challenging enough to provide a great workout, but not too intense.

The park is great. Great work out and it's clean. Taking my dog on his leash is really nice when I see others doing the same. I'm telling everyone about this park. Feels a little like LA park Runyon Canyon Park. It's just over all a great park. I'm hooked.

This place was a BEAST! If i could do it again, I'd consider myself pretty athletic. Views were very nice from the top of the trails.

Perfect biking trails for all mountain bikers. Very clean and safe and is big enough not to have a whole bunch of people cramped up in one spot.

I love it, me and my girlfriend go almost every chance we get. Challenging trails that will 100% push you to your limits, filled with friendly people and dogs. A top 5 hike for sure.

Trails are well taken care of and it's the best place to run or hike in dfw.

Love the trails here! They have a bit of elevation to them so they pack a little bit of a punch! There isn't a lot of bike activity so you get the chance to hike unencumbered. The park is also open till it becomes dark which is pretty neat.

Rustic, but miles of trails. Busy on weekends and holidays. Muddy after rain. My dog loves it. Some level walks, lot of hill climbing. Been on the trails in every season. Go on a sunny day for great scenery. Could use more maintenance and better parking.

Fantastic park to hike and enjoy the outdoors without worrying about mountain bikes running into you. Incredible views overlooking the lake and surrounding hills.

Had a great workout this morning with my dog on the Cedar Brake trail.

Everything is beautiful, I just wish they would charge a little less and have more designated swimming areas. Cedar Hill State Park was great all in all, I will definately try the other parks on Joe Pool Lake.

Such gorgeous views, creative decor, ample trails to choose from with photo ops. This was a very pleasurable experience for my group and I.

Love this place! We go once a week and do a 5 mile hike. It s safe and easy enough for the dog to keep up. The only downside is people playing music on portable speakers...it kind of takes away from the atmosphere.

Love the park. It is well cared for and the trails have the right mix of challenge and accessibility.

The trails are beautiful and well maintained and the scenery is nice in many areas. I've hiked here several times with my toddler and she has a blast every time climbing up and down the steps on the steeper parts of Bluebonnet, Possumhaw, and Cattail. (Cattail was ROUGH with a kid, though!)

Loved it there, tones of trails, very fun and peaceful place to do some walking and maybe jogging, might wanna still watch your step because there are some things you could trip on like roots or rocks, I went to take photos and I got a couple of good ones, but it was winter so most of the plants arnt as green as I would have liked, but I'm sure in the summer it looks amazing!

Love to hike here trails are in good shape. Even if it's hot the shade makes it easier to walk.

Nice and saw boys scouts cleaning and repairing. This place seemed well cared for and clean. No maps on site which could be potentially dangerous if inexperienced hikers were to attempt a hike.

Wonderful place. Very good trails and well kept . Guess mostly run by volunteers and to see this level of upkeep is commendable. Great job by the volunteers. One of best places in DFW area for being close to nature

We've gone herd for many years. I've always loved this place. It has really picked up since the last time I went, but there was plenty of parking and it wasn't overcrowded.
