Nice place, clean. But no trash can across the trail!

This place has amazing hiking trails. You can get all of them done within a day. It's a good place to practice for more strenuous conditions. The scenery is nice. The water works. The bathrooms are.... Well they're bathrooms. It's dog friendly which is nice cause you can see the cute dogs on the trail. It's my go to day hiking spot.

Nature. Busy weekends. Uncurbed dog mess. Many nice varied hikes.

Cedar Brake Trail is a beast!!! However I loved every drop of sweat!

I love going here, you can hike at your own pace. Bring water! You will definitely get a good work out!

Very hiking and trail running friendly. Leashed pets allowed. Wet conditions can close trails going thru the creek areas.

went on hike with a group of 8, including young kids and dog. we loved it. the trails are easy to follow and you have several choices based on time/difficulty. Will definitely return

I drive an hour just to hike here. The views are beautiful. The trails can be challenging if you want or you can take the easy road. Either way, you get a great workout and the chance to enjoy nature right in the middle of the city.

This place is definitely a hidden gem. I have been going to Cedar Hill State Park for hiking for quite a while. I never knew this place was right next door. The trails are very well maintained and very pretty. There are plenty of benches along the way, if you need a rest. There is an easy, flat, short trail, and a longer steeper trail for those who want more exercise. I saw lots of butterflies and wildflowers. There is a shop that sells toys and misc items. The staff was friendly. I will definitely be going back.

Ran here in the trails once. Got super tired, I ll go again this winter, cause the summer heat is too much to run here. I ll be back:)

We visit this place often. The difficulty of the trails varies. There's some easy enough for kids and others a little more difficult. There's enough shade on the trails to help with the heat and there's even a small pond at the end of one of the trails. Good views, well maintained.

I never knew my love for hiking until these trails! It s nice and shaded well (at certain times). They have trails that will challenge you with hills & stairs, while still having some that are more flat if you re starting off or taking it easy. Many commoners are friendly here, too; they will greet you if you cross paths. Definitely hooked on the Preserve!

I went to this place for the 1st time a few days ago. It is a great place unlike the parks around the area wher I live, this is a reserve so of course it is huge. It offers different trails to choose from with different lenghts 1, 2 , 3 miles. You can finish a 2 mile and join another for 1 mile. It is not an isolated place. There was a good and diverse group of people: all ages and races, some walking in groups and many by themselves which means it must be a safe area. Also the trail offera different physical challenges ( more /less slope places, stairs, ..) and views that make it very interesting. I hopenthe weather allows me to go back again soon.

Terrific trails with a fair amount of elevation and challenging terrain. Right in the middle of the metroplex but somehow the beautiful scenery makes you feel as if you've escaped back to nature. This place is alive, just look around and you'll see nature smiling back at you. Great place to walk your dog, elevate your heart rate, or even just stumble around high.

Love all the views and trails! Each one it s own challenge and adventure. Really enjoy hiking here and getting a kiss of nature.

Nice scenic and well maintained preserve providing multiple hiking trails, a chance to step out of the urban environment, picnic areas and oprotunity to learn about North Texas flora and fauna. Just a short trip via car or by DART from downtown. Highly recommend.

Some nice views and good location for a moderate weekend hike for those looking for something to do around DFW. Be sure to come early as there is very limited parking near by but you can park down the road and walk in. It can be crowded, so don't expect to have the trail to yourself but you rarely get stuck not moving on the trail. There is a considerable amount of elevation on this trail, so be prepared for that depending on which routes you take and do your research before heading off.

Although it was raining, the terrain was beautiful. Well organized trails, marked well. Low wild life. Maintained trails. A gem in the metroplex.

Trails R Us... hubby and I did this for the first time last weekend....it was great loved the scenery, nature at its best, was not prepared for the inclines but I did it.... ready to go do it all over again!!!

If you're looking for hills, this place has them; steep annnd gradual.
Plus a lot of the trails connect to each other in some way so you can create your own route each time which is great because I've been on those one's too where the route becomes unappealing after a time. There's plenty of shady areas if you need a break or are concerned about heat exhaustion. Parking seems available and don't pass up the opportunity to donate to the preserve as often as you can. Please pick up after your pets.
Go and enjoy yourself like I did!

I think I've made it to most of the trails inside of Cedar Ridge. The hiking trails are stunning. I'll make sure to add some pictures next time I'm there. One of my favorite places in all of Texas to go hiking!

It is one of the best trails I have been to in Dallas. Raining when I was there, but the trails were so well maintained it was not that bad even though it was hilly. There are signs everywhere for directions. Will definitely be going back there when I get a chance

This is the only place in DFW that you can hike on hills. If you love mountains this is the closest you can get in Dallas. Great place hike, break fresh air, explore, and enjoy nature. Be aware, this place is getting popular, so that comes with issues. Some are not respectful and trash the place, so please take a plastic bag with you and pick up some trash while you hike. Other than that. great place.

One of my favorite places to go to many trail options. Paths for beginners and experience. It can get very very over packed to where it's Not Safe during Covid-19. It's the best trail below, i20, in Dallas.

There were a lot of trails to choose from, some short and others around the 2 mile mark. Beautiful with deaignated paths.

Love this place more than any trails I have found.. They say 9 miles of trails and that is an understatement. If you shake it up it can be as many miles you need. Love the pond. The turles come from clear on the other end from hearing my voice. I can't wait for it to open back up. The only down side is some peope who go there. It is rude and revolting to use any form of listening device except ear buds or have loud conversations on the phone while doing your walk. You are not that important. Your music choices are not so amazing everyone should love them too. If you come out to nature, BE IN THE NATURE and quit being a weak slave to your chains, aka your phone. Speaking of chains. The dog leash things goes for everyone and every dog ( or cat ) ( yes, I saw that once ) ( atleast she had her cat on a leash ) it just keeps your pets safe from being attacked by bigger pets. Be polite, be smart, and don't be a ( eggplant emoji )

Not a your regular suburbs trails, great experience, different trails. Steep steps, curvy trails. You can wear tennis shoes, but hiking boots will be purchased next time I go.

A nice place to walk around and clear your head, and not to mention a great workout area

This place was so lovely, the scenery was great and there was a decent cover so there was not too much sun exposure, there are various steps on certain trails and various bumps throughout the trail to direct water flow. There are benches through the trails if one needs to sit down and rest. Overall great experience.

A great challenge that gives you a full body workout

Very nice trails to walk! Closed on Mondays! An park closes once it gets dark! Multiple trail options from beginner to expert! Just bring a backpack with lots of water and good walking shoes!!

Its beautiful and peaceful here. There is so much shade. The views are gorgeous. We had a good time.

Great place to take the family and dogs, many choices in different trails and difficulty.

My favorite place to hike. There are so many hiking trails of different lengths and difficulty. I can take my 2 year old and walk through the butterfly garden and get her out into nature on nice, even paths or my German shepherd and I can do the longer trails that have stairs and steep hills and get in a really good workout.
