I have nothing but positive things to say about this hospital and the staff there. This review will be for the labor and delivery and recovery ward. We had an excellent experience! Our nurses were absolutely incredible the entire time we were there (March 2020), and went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. With the ever evolving situation in regards to the Coronavirus, the hospital went out of their way to make sure we stayed safe. This included us getting tested upon entry, and a strict no visitors policy which we totally understood. Big shoutout to the labor and delivery team including Dr. Evans, Rachel, Heather, and everyone else who helped us welcome our son to the world! The recovery nurses (Shout out to Michele and Brooke..among others) were equally amazing!! There aren't a ton of rooms in the L&D/Recovery area which I really liked...a small town feel if you will, and not a giant hospital. My wife and I felt like we were valued as patients, and not just a number. I will also add that the food they brought to the rooms was pretty good for a hospital...(strawberry cheesecake was the bomb!) If my wife and I decide to have another kid in a few years, we'll definitely be back!

I have been a patient of the nurses Kelly, Bethany, and Jana at Pulmonary Rehab at CPRMC for the last few months, and have graduated today! I cannot express my gratitude enough for the program, the doctors, the facility, and the nurses roles in my rehabilitation. I am stronger and healthier because of them. I also appreciate the quick and courteous registration process. I will miss seeing all of their beautiful smiling faces every week. The best part is they sent me away with the ability to keep up with what they have taught me there.

I was hospitalized with pneumonia and the flu from January 18th through January 22nd. My illness was complicated by a staph infection in my blood stream. The care that I received was excellent. They aggressively and professionally treated all 3 problems which got me back on my feet in a short time.
It was a pleasure interacting with the staff in the emergency room and on the 2nd floor. The ladies and men had an upbeat attitude each and every day.
Special thanks go to Cathy, Christa, Lucretia (sp), Ana, Joe, Carl and Ivan who provided excellent care. I felt like they cared enough to look out for my best interest.

I was taken by ambulance to Cedar Park Regional Ho...

I was taken by ambulance to Cedar Park Regional Hospital in June 2018 with excruciating and debilitating pain in my head. I was treated for a migraine and given a CAT scan although I knew it was much more serious than a migraine. To make a long story short, I spent almost two weeks at this hospital, most of which was in the critical care unit only to be moved to a "regular" room without even having a diagnosis!! I was being given every pain medication there was without any relief in sight! I was seen by a neurologist one night who reviewed my CAT scan and finally ordered an MRI. She came into my room ONE time and said "You are really a mystery! We can see white specks around your brain but not exactly sure why!" After expecting the worst and not hearing back from her after 48 hrs my family demanded that we speak to the neurologist immediately. After waiting and waiting, another doctor came in only to tell us that he was filling in for my neurologist but was not sure what was going on because he had not reviewed my file. When asking questions as to what my diagnosis was, he preceded to tell us that he was not actually a neurologist but a LUNG DOCTOR!! WHAT?? My family had to fight to have him release me and made arrangements to see a real doctor! We left, in my robe and all and drove straight to St David's where they were awaiting our arrival. They immediately admitted me and had me in a room within 15 minutes and a diagnosis that same day!!! What I was being treated as a MIGRAINE at CEDAR PARK REGIONAL was actually a brain disease called RCVS!!! The neurologists at the hospital were astounded by the fact that an angiogram was never done when it should have been one of the first tests done after the MRI. I am now paying several doctor and hospital bills to CP for a very unnecessary week and a half stay! Needless to say I tell people at every chance I get to stay away from this incompetent hospital!!

Garrett, same thing happened to me, went in for two stitches, paid the doctor's cost and his associated facility cost but got hit with a 3000.00+ bill. I'm writing our state rep and congress rep, hopefully they can weight in, doubt it. Cedar Park Regional medical center executives are greedy. It's un American. DON"T GO THERE. It's like you get a service from any assorted business in the area, pay for it, then get hit with a $3k bill for just entering the building. Went to Round Rock emergency room two weeks later for blood clot, paid 300+ dollar bill. Why such a stark contrast? And I have good insurance from Dell. Greed.

This review is specifically for the imaging center. I Have had two experiences here over . the last week, and both were top notch. The facility is new, clean, easy to find, great parking and every employee I dealt with was kind, caring, compassionate, easy to understand and performed their job well. Scheduling was a breeze and both appointments were less than five minutes waiting time. My first appointment was for a cervical x-ray, the technician was professional concerned with my comfort, performed his duties in an expeditious fashion. The second appointment was for the dreaded yearly mammogram and dare I say the whole experience was a pleasure Enemencia. In the front office checked me in on both visits and I give her 5 gold stars for doing her job well, timely and understanding all of my questions and concerns and answering them to the best of her ability. She is absolutely an asset to CPMC. The technician who performed my mammogram, Donna also receives five stars. She too knew her job very well and made me feel absolutely comfortable. The instructions she gave me were clear and concise and my comfort level was always her most important question. She clearly takes her job seriously and the patients are the most important thing to her. Thank you Donna for making me feel so comfortable

I just had a cardiac cath done and couldn t have been more pleased with the nursing care. I am a retired RN so I know good nursing care. Casey and Jana did my pre-op care and explained everything well. When we went to the lab people were busy setting thins up but either Tyler or Casey kept checking with me and throughout the procedure. After words back to holding and I met Suzy and Dalawna. Between the 4 of them every question was answered and a lot I hadn t thought of. Excellent care

Awful billing practices. Had a procedure 2/4/16- w...

Awful billing practices. Had a procedure 2/4/16- walked in and was told my Insurance adjusted rate- since I hadn't me my deductible was 1267.86. This would have been nice to know ahead of time if one of the insurance verification people would have returned my call.

I paid it- using every cent on my health spending card, and then another 300+ on my debit.

Had my procedure- tech was very nice- no complaints there.
I then expected my bill to be filed with my insurance- nope. They filed it a week later, was rejected. Waited 2 more weeks, filed again, rejected. I called them on 2/24/16 to find out what the problem was since it wasn't showing up that I had met 1200+ of my deductible and was being asked to pay everywhere for stuff. They explained my claim had been rejected x2 since I did not have insurance with said company. Bull. Got it straightened out and bill filed. Then my insurance approves only 926.00 of it- so I had overpaid by 341.00. I call back to CPRMC on 2/29- they can't refund until payment received from insurance company- then they will refund the over payment. Great.

So I call back today. Insurance company paid them on 2/29/16- go figure- right when I called. I asked when I could expect my refund then, said I had to request a refund. WHAT the F&@%$! That's what I had already done. So I asked for my refund and it will now be another 3-6 WEEKS until it is sent out.
I then asked a hypothetical- If I was patient X and hadn't realized I overpaid- would that money have ever been refunded once insurance had paid. NOOOO! Because I (patient X) wouldn't have made a refund request. That is just crappy and dishonest.
Billing at CPRMC sucks and so does the ER care. I and family members have been to the ER there a total of 3 times and each experience was awful. Our family will never go here again- even for outpatient procedures.

I recently had hip replacement and I was very pleased with the preparation for surgery and the care I received. As a retired physician, I am well aware of quality of care, organization, and compassionate care. All 3 were seamlessly present during my 36 hour stay. Stacy, Nancy, and Ashley were superb nurses and I thank them for all they do!

Moms & Dads (especially divorcees) beware! DON'T B...

Moms & Dads (especially divorcees) beware! DON'T BE THEIR NEXT VICTIM. This hospital WILL SUE YOU! By law and understandably so, hospitals are not legally required to get involved in, or enforce divorce decrees. If the parent financially responsible for medical expenses by court order does not pay the bill the other parent can & WILL BE SUED if their credit is better than the the non-paying parent (with bad credit) who has refused to pay. It does not matter who signed what, who was present and who wasn't, who is listed as the guarantor on account, nothing matters in the courtroom! You should AVOID this hospital at all cost!! They will let the parent financially responsible assume the account, leading you to believe you can receive treatment for your child but if unpaid by that legally responsible person the hospital will go after the parent who is more financially stable. Your credit will be ruined and your time wasted trying to fight their lawyers. Look at the Travis county & Williamson County websites under public court records. Thousands of cases against patients have been brought to court by the Cedar Park Health System. It is unfortunate that the hospital chooses to disregard circumstances & sue undeserving people causing unnecessary anxiety, mental anguish, & stress. I should sue them for putting me through this when it could have been avoided. While not required by law to consider prior court orders the hospital is also not prohibited by law from doing so and they are the only hospital I know who does this. One more warning for consumers. Audit your bill. Ask for itemized invoices. I found fraudulent charges like charging me $300 for a syringe that cost them $19 for a box. They also charged over $200 for 2 pushes on 2 syringes of meds administered at the same time by the same nurse which incidentally should not have been given to an 8 y/o child with his symptoms! I couldn't give zero stars or I would have.

My cardiologist convinced me to "try" rehab as it would improve my mobility and stamina. I reluctantly complied and on my first day was somewhat overwhelmed by the amount and type of information I was provided concerning life style, diet, physical conditioning and health. I returned two days later a reluctant, exercise hating, participant for my first session but was told to go home because of my high blood pressure caused by my anxiety. Almost didn't return, but knew I had to or suffer the deadly consequences of being a professional couch potato. I went and after 36 sessions and life style/diet modification I GOT MY LIFE BACK.
I can once again participate in hobbies like traveling, woodworking antique restoration, go for walks and enjoy activities with my family. Prior to the rehab I thought I would never enjoy these activities again.
I want to thank those who made my life better from the cardio rehab department; Jana, Kelly, Brittany and of course Bill. Your patience, persistence, professionalism and consistent good humor were inspirational.
Thank You
Steve Squires
PS I even joined a local rec center to continue my physical activities.

I have never been to a hospital that was more professional, more empathetic and just an all around amazing experience (as amazing as you can have going to an ER). I showed up to the ER in extreme pain and within 5 minutes I was in a room and talking to the Doctor, she immediately got me something for the pain and sent me for testing. All told I was in the ER for under 2 hours and left with all my questions answered and a way ahead. They made the entire process easy and painless

The staff of of nurses, Bethany, Jana, Kelly, and the volunteer Bill, in the cardiac rehab are excellent in all they do for each and every person there.
They are kind, thorough, always on task, watching us to make sure we are not in duress, and keeping us all on task. Every one is treated with respect and kindness. They encourage us to get all we are able to do, in order to reach our goal. I looked forward to going every time I was scheduled. I will miss their happy faces.

If I could give this place 0 starts, I would. They deserve it! I had a horrible experience in the E.R. where the nurses referred to me as Fast Track. Word of advice: go to a Seton or a St. David's where they provide superior care no matter what. I imagine that this is the area hospital that accepts the rejected nurses and MD's who can't go anywhere else. Horrible standard of care. Shame on you people! I wouldn't go back to this hospital for anything!

My husband was admitted for a procedure and the pre operation staff and doctors were helpful and nice but the post recovery was the problem. I think there was a miscommunication because my husband and I both wanted him to stay overnight and this was one of the procedures with the option of sending their patients home right after if not complications arise.

The nurse Siri gave me a call and told me my husband was ready to be discharged, with no option of him staying the night. She literally asked me could you be here in 1 hr? and i felt like through all the process she rushed me to get there (I have 2 small children and live far from this hospital) and I guess they just didn t want to keep him overnight.
Anyways on top of that we felt so rushed during his discharge and she was rude when i accidentally grabbed some papers that were hers; she very cold and unfriendly individual.

We are disappointed with that experience because I know there are other good nurses in their staff and we think the hospital should train their nurses to give better attention to their patients and families.

Run away!!!! Wow! thought the rumors of cedar park hospital was just a running joke. till i sent my 19 year old son there and he got 4 stitches in his thumb . He did not have that much in saving. so, i said i would pay what insurance doesn't . His cousin just got 6 at round rock 7-8 months ago and it cost out of pocket after insurance 630.00 +/-. thought that was high. But worth for my son. he was going to place across street. told him he would be better served going to cedar park hospital. (Wrong) How bad could it be . (oh bad, very.) Cedar park is well over 1150.00 out of pocket. Started with a doctor and hospital combined bill of 6333.00+ . for 3 stitches!!!!!! he put in 4 but decided it needed only 3 and took one out . That's 2000 per stitch . have calls in to see if they take cash or first born children. will let u know with up date.

I recently had surgery here. It was a astounding experience.

Every single person was so very wonderful. I was so fearful of many different things regarding this surgery and every one of the staff members helped me through.

They treated me with respect. I felt they genuinely cared for my safety and personal feelings. This was so precious to me.

I work in healthcare. I know it's easy to become jaded and robotic without realizing it. I appreciate them all so very much.

From prescheduling to after care every person was detailed, professional and kind.

The staff never once made me feel like a number, a bed to be turned or a nuisance. They gave me the time and the support I needed to make this as pleasurable an experience as possible.

The absolute worst medical place to receive health care. I do not recommend you go there for any medical attention. The staff are rude and they do not know what they are doing. I took my husband there and it was only thanks to God he came out alive. These people do not care about you or your health. The nurses are horrible and they only care about what is in your pockets they just want your money. The ABSOLUTE WORST MEDICAL CENTER!!!!! Save your loved ones and do not go there folks!!

My father was admitted through the ER for observation and further testing for a possible stroke. Before the family left that night, we advised that his bed alarm be activated as he may try to get up by himself. The absolute worse did happen the next day, he tried to climb over the bedrails and fell out of bed causing some serious bruises and lacerations to his face and arms. How did this happen if the bed alarm was activated? They did move him into ICU tonight to keep a closer eye on him but it scares me to think how serious his injuries are. How can we be assured of their safety when something like this happens?

I have been a patient at the Heart and Vascular Rehabilitation Center since June. Today was my last day....I graduated. The team of Jana, Kelly, Bethany, and Bill were so caring, knowledgeable, and friendly. I was given a lot of helpful cardiac information and guided step-by-step through all of the exercises. Everyone was so patient and encouraging. I highly recommend the Heart and Vascular Rehabilitation Center for anyone who is recovering from a heart attack or heart procedure. You will not be disappointed and will be treated like family. I give this team 5 STARS.

We have had multiple poor experiences at this hospital but I will just go over the most recent. Unfortunately it is the closest facility to our house so in desperation we have visited it when it would not be our first choice. My daughter recently had a fall onto her chest in a dance class. She woke up in the middle of the night complaining of severe chest pain. I rushed her here at about 3:00 AM. When the doctor came in to see her he was in our room for literally 3 minutes. He asked a few questions, felt her chest and said she was fine, just pain from the fall. We were sent on our way. No tests and we were really only seen for 3 minutes. When we got the bill for the doctor (separate from the hospital) it included an extra $30 charge for "exam between the hours of 10 AM and 8 AM". Aren't hospitals open 24 hours because of emergencies? Why on earth would there be an extra charge for coming in in the middle of the night? As I stated, this is just the latest in a long line of bad experiences here and we will make the drive to a better facility like Seton Northwest next time, even if it is farther away. Not recommended.

Ok. I don't know where to start. My mother came in last night because of some swelling of her stomach. Its been a day since she has been here and 2 doctors have seen her with different diagnosis and the nurses seem to be confused as hell and one nurse has a very nasty attitude!!! Im sure there are good hard working people here but some seem not to care about the patients. I am currently here with my mom, and im about to check her out this place. Just a bunch of confusion. Being a local guide, i highly recommend driving past this hospital to a different one on non serious issues.

My wife had food poisoning a few weeks back and ha...

My wife had food poisoning a few weeks back and had become severely dehydrated while continuing to vomit. Unfortunately, her symptoms spiked around 1:00 AM, so we were left with the option of waiting until morning or going to the ER.

When we arrived, my wife received the following care:

-IV fluids (1 pack)
-Anti-nausea medication (1 quantity)
-urine test diagnostics
-Prescription for anti-nausea medication.
-Diagnosis: upset stomach

That is all. Nothing more.

Total time spent with ER doctor: 2 minutes
Total time spent in ER room: 60-90 minutes

Total bill: $5,198.68

The bill we received was not itemized, and the version submitted to insurance did not contain details beyond "emergency room services", "emergency room drugs", "emergency room tests". We have tried contacting the hospital for more information, but the itemized bill will take 7 days to arrive (which is 2 days after the bill due date). Our calls to the hospital have been "dropped" on numerous occasions when asking for explanations and itemization.

I understand our health care system is broken, but this is criminal. Avoid this hospital unless you are dying. Even then, think twice.

Update: 9/25/2019 - Weeks after requesting the itemized bill, we received a form to fill out just to request an itemized bill. My wife then had to take time off of work and go to the hospital in person to see the itemized bill, which classified her straightforward, hour long stay as an "Extended ED Visit" for $2548.98, as well as +500 in urine test panels with no explanation as to why they were necessary given knowledge that my wife ate something likely to be bad and was feeling better immediately following the IV and anti-nausea medication.

Update: 10/18/2019 - We have been waiting for about 3 weeks for the auditor to call back regarding this visit and the inaccurate billing. Nothing yet, even though the bill was technically due over a month ago. My guess is that they will send to collections without ever contacting us back regarding this issue.

This hospital was a great place to have surgery. From the first person that registered me, everyone was kind and informative. They took very good care of me and answered my questions, so that I experienced very little anxiety facing the surgery. The facility was impeccably clean and the nurses came quickly when I called. I would recommend this hospital to people know and if I needed surgery again I would feel very comfortable at Cedar Park regional.

I am currently being seen at the Physical Therapy center and the treatment I have received thus far has been amazing. I had back surgery a year ago and was experiencing pain from tight muscles and perhaps some scar tissue and decided physical therapy would help. I recently got dry needling (similar to acupuncture but better) in the areas that were hurting me the most and WOW what a difference. The pain subsided tremendously and I noticed very minimal pain while at work. I also noticed a difference when laying down as much of the pain is when I lay on my back or stomach. My therapist Ben has been amazing! He is very professional, knowledgeable, and seems to really care about seeing me get better. I would highly recommend this location for your physical therapy needs.

My second child was born at Cedar Park Regional Medical Center and it has been an enjoyable experience. My wife s OB, Dr. Thai, has been there to provide support to her and our family throughout the entire pregnancy. This includes unforeseen challenges that we have faced.

In my experience, fathers are often left in the dark when it comes to the appointments and the actual birth of their child. Dr. Thai (OB), Dr. Thakrar (Peds Dr), Nurse Dana (Peds) among others were phenomenal in keeping me informed on the testing, expectations, etc.

Our experience has been great thus far.

Worst experience ever, my boyfriend came in with a lawn mower accident and had two finger tips cut off, we arrived at 4:45 pm, cut off fingers, lots of pain, they were quick to triage and get him xray and tetanus shot but than we sat and waited with no one asking about him or providing any updates at all for 2 1/2 hours when I finally complained someone updated him and than another eventually gave him some pain medication while we still waited in a waiting room. We never got to a doctor and a rude nurse ended up causing him to get more upset and we left after 4 hours of pain and emotional suffering. We went to another hospital and was seen and xrayed again and saw doctor with results all in 1 hour 30 minutes. This was on 3/26/16 horrible experience.

They finally diagnosed my pain on the 3rd visit after my personal Dr told them there was a major issue. Previously, they just gave me pain meds and sent me on my way. With severe abdominal pain, neither Dr even palpated my abdomen. Ridiculous! The Dr there are horrible and even worse with kids. They have no desire to find out what is truly wrong with you. They not only made me stay in pain for 5 days but cost me a lot of money in ER visits, in addition to finally being admitted.

All the staff was friendly and customer oriented from the person who checked me in to the Anna who performed the pulmonary test.. Anna knew her stuff and her sparkling personality and professionalism made the test go W/O a hitch from start to finish. I appreciated all she did to help me through the test. Anna is an asset to this organization.

I consider CPRMC to be our hospital of choice and have always had a good experience.. Very professional and pleasant to do business with!

Cardio Pulmonary Rehab Center-First of all-Bethany and Kelly are "TERRIFIC"!They are very knowledgeable of their profession. My initial conference with Kelly was an indept review of my vitals and how the department works and that goals would be set.On arrival of my first day everything was explained on the procedures of the center and the protocol that is followed.(Very conscience of making sure all equipment is disinfected-and social distancing is adhered to.)All department personnel were very helpful throughout my rehab-Bethany,Kelly,Jan and Marty.Kelly and Bethany made being in rehab enjoyable.I wish to thank them for the quality of the program-under these trying times.I would highly recommend!!!! Also the three other rehaber's-thank you and hope all goes well.THANKS!!!!!

After being bitten by a cat, I developed sepsis and had to be hospitalized and given large doses of antibiotics and pain meds. The e.r. was fairly efficient, but couldn't find my veins, of course. After admission, the PACU nurse recommended a PIC line which was awesome! The e.r. also lost my clothes and shoes that I came in with. But I got Dr. Guerra and he was probably the one that saved my life! He is very awesome! I would love to thank all of the health care professionals that helped me recover. I wish I could remember all their names. They were truly great - especially Melanie (Med/Surg), Connie, James, many more. The nurses and aides in PACU were super too! But I was pretty much out of it to remember their names. Thank you all so much! Thanks to Susan in the lab for the super fast diagnosis on my blood cultures too.

The colonoscopy I had was the best part of the day . The reaming over being presented a bill before anything began was worse. Especially since my procedure was covered. Now try getting reimbursed!! Not a happy camper

Nurses and medical staff were excellent. Intake, insurance and the rest of them need customer service skills

UPDATE:

UPDATE:
Anyone who reads these reviews notices that the hospital staff responds to them, offering assistance. The did so to my review (see below) from a few months ago. I called, as the reply to my review requested. I told the same story. Again. She offered to "look into it." I was promised a call back. I did not get a call from the hospital. I did get a call from the Emergency Room Doctor's of Central Texas manager. They are no longer the sub-contractor used by Cedar Park Regional. Dr. Lee listened to my story and adjusted the fee to a more reasonable amount. Cedar Park Regional made no adjustment.

Avoid Cedar Park Regional Medical Center.

ORIGINAL POST:
My son clearly broke his collarbone. We took him to the emergency room at Cedar Park Regional Medical Center. We were escorted to an exam room within minutes. The nurse quickly asked what happened, then the doctor came in and sent my son for x-rays. The doctor was in the room less than three minutes. The x-rays took a few minutes and the doctor returned approximately 10 minutes later. He affirmed that it was a broken collarbone and recommended that we see a pediatric orthopedist. This interaction with the doctor was also less than three minutes. Our entire time with the doctor was approximately six minutes.

Then we got the bill. Over $4000. The two x-rays were over $800. The doctor's bill was over $2000. The hospital room charges were over $1000.

First, the doctor's bill. This hospital contracts their ER docs from a company called Emergency Room Doctors of Central Texas. They have a Better Business Bureau rating of a D. They rated my son's visit as a "Level 4." This is one level below gun shot wounds, stab wounds, and patients coming in with no pulse. I tried calling them. The person in charge of billing is Susan Potter. She does not take phone calls. She only responds through USPS mail. I got the run around. I reached out to the hospital folks for help. They verified the accuracy of the doctor's billing.

Next, the x-rays. Why were they over $800? I wanted to know. I called and was transferred to billing. They told me to talk to imaging. Imaging told me to talk to billing. Finally, a hospital administrator told me they must charge those rates to be able to have an emergency room open 24 hours a day with a trained person to operate the x-ray. There are at least 20 more x-ray machines in that hospital.

I spoke with Frances, who was incredibly kind about everything I asked. But there were no changes.

Scott and White is 4 miles east on 1431. We went there for our next sports related incident. We were there longer. We spent MUCH more time with the doctor. The room was messy when we left. x-rays were taken. The bill was under $1200.

Avoid Cedar Park Regional Medical Center.

We delivered our first baby here last week and have nothing but good things to say about the staff and nurses! Anything we needed was given to us day or night. My wife had a hard labor and we could tell that shift change/pass on they spoke about it and made sure she was as comfortable as can be. I've seen other reviews that speak about how the nurses treat husband's as second class citizens. That couldn't be farther from the truth! My needs and questions were met as attentively as my wife's. Only missing part now is how billing is. Will update with any issues on that front.

After TWO trips in 3 days to Cedar Park Regional m...

After TWO trips in 3 days to Cedar Park Regional my 65yr old wife was admitted to this hospital with a touch of pneumonia ER Trip 1 treatment was ineffective. On ER Trip 2 on a Sunday evening no treatment was provided by a Doctor. The staff got her a bed and into the system. Blood and urine were drawn. Lung X-rays were taken. No treatment was offered despite the patient telling the nurses she hadn t had any nourishment for 18 hours. When a doctor finally saw her on rounds it was early morning and she was surprised by her lack of treatment. We spent 72 total hours in the hospital in a state of confusion about treatment about when we could go home and a follow up treatment plan.
Two weeks later we started receiving bills. My wife has the top tier plan of insurance through her employer and BlueCrossBlueShield. She has endured major surgery before and we have paid co-pays and deductibles that were at least affordable compared to the cost of the procedure and hospital stay. Cedar Park Regional is different. Listed in BCBS directory as an IN-Plan facility the reality is they employ Drs. Who are NOT in plan. If you are treated by those Drs.you are screwed! We tried to negotiate with the insurance company and they pointed out the Drs. would not accept the negotiated price agreed upon by BCBS with in plan Drs.
Cedar Park Regional were intractable in negotiation. On a combined bill of $6K the best cash discount I could get was $160. The only advise I could get from BCBS was that on the ADMISSION FORMS AT INTAKE write that you request treatment from ONLY IN PLAN Drs.

Cedar Park Regional will come after you like a crooked-nose collection agency while you try to sort out what your options are to paying $6000 bill for 3 days in their facilities.
Then after paying their blood bill in FULL their billing office couldn t figure out how to get me out of collections.
Go somewhere else, do not trust these people with your life.

We just delivered our 3rd child at Cedar Park Regional. All of the staff were amazing! Our admissions was quick and smooth and my labor and delivery team were amazing, specifically Molly, Tracy, and Carlos! Our little guy had some complications during delivery and everyone responded very quickly to his needs and he was transferred to the NICU. I am so thankful that CPRMC had this unit available and I was able to stay in the same hospital as my son as I recovered. We spent 12 days in the NICU where we received the best care! Our NICU team was so amazing and talked us through every step of care and concerns that we had. All of the NICU nurses were wonderful, but we were very blessed to work with Amy, Shannon, Melissa, Yvonne, Gail, Cheryl, Cathy, and Dottie. They all made us feel like family and we felt confident that our little guy was getting the best possible care and love. These ladies truly have a calling for what they do!!!! We also worked with several from the lactation team. Becca followed up with us several times and helped me and our baby with some of the feeding struggles he had. I also do not want to forget Ernesto and Brandon in dining services. They always made sure to call to get our meal orders in when it often slipped our minds. They were so patient and kind to ensure that our meals were taken care of. It may seem small, but it meant the world to us.

Visited the Cath Lab yesterday at Cedar Park Regional Medical Center. Started out on the wrong foot as my wife's Dr. was delayed. During our all day stay the staff of the Cath Lab kept us informed and entertained, making our long stay much more pleasant! We'd like to thank Dalawna and Marty in particular as they covered the night shift and were very friendly and helpful! If you have to have a Heart Catheter procedure, we highly recommend Cedar Park Regional. Ken & Linda Null.

After having had a mammogram prescribed by Dr. Neal on 9//9/19, the first time I could get in to the "Imaging Center" at Cedar Park Regional was 9/24/19. Thought that was too long; the Dr. reading the mamo and ultra-sound only comes in on Tuesdays and Thursdays. The care at the imaging center was superb. This review is because of the 2+ week delay in getting scheduled.
