I had a revision from sleeve to bypass on 7/30/2020. It was medically necessary as i was under a great deal of pain daily from the acid reflux and GERD the sleeve caused me to have and was not medically under control. I appreciate the kindness and care that the entire staff gave me , especially my pre op nurse Chris. He was a travel nurse originally from TN (so am I). He was very kind and made me feel at ease, that I was having to do this all alone (no visitors with Covid-19 policy s) . My post op nurses were Vickie and Yadah. They were amazing and took excellent care of me while I was there. They helped me in every way to make sure I was comfortable and feeling ok. They checked on me and always felt they they were reassuring me that I was in the best care possible, and I truly believe that I was. I want thank the whole staff from the bottom of my heart for the job that they have done during this trying time. (COVID-19). The dietician that came in to speak with me was lovely as well (I am so sorry I don t recall her name) .. she told me about a cookbook that a friend of hers had written (the author had the same last name as mine that s why she told me). I looked on Amazon and bought it that day ( It is specifically for bariatric patients). It is a very informative cookbook and I appreciate her telling me about it. Even if I passed someone in the hallway as I was doing my laps they always said good morning or good afternoon. The stay at Cedar Park Regional Hospital was wonderful. This will be my hospital of choice for any procedures or emergencies I may have in the future.

Delawna & Christi were amazing with their eye for detail and overall genuine care of their patients. They made my husband feel at ease with his procedure by taking the time to talk him through the process and overall down to earth demeanors .
Dr. Crimmins was very personable and thorough. He also took the time to make sure we understood the procedure, answered all our questions in terms we could understand and explained results nicely. Would highly recommend Cedar Park Hospital s Heart Center. Side note: both Delawna and Christi served us fresh coffee that could definitely put Starbucks out of business.

My husband recently had surgery on a broken arm in December and the surgeon and staff were wonderful. However, our BIG problem is with the billing. Here we are 3 months later and we are dealing with a billing nightmare. My husband requested an audit on the charges for the procedure. The audit was completed and it showed that we are were overbilled. The subsequent statement never showed the correct adjustment and in fact increased the amount owed. This has been a very frustrating experience for us. This is the FOURTH statement and it is still not RESOLVED. The hospital is now requesting a payment to keep my account from being sent to a collection agency, even though they haven't been able to give me a correct bill. Please CPRMC!!

I had a well woman mammogram. I have breast implants and this was my first mammogram. Dana was terrific. She was extremely knowledgeable, personable and took all awkwardness out of the procedure. My mammogram was pain free. I highly recommend and will continue my care here. Thank you, Dana!

I am the lead nurse for an overnight summer camp in the area. This is our ER of choice! We had two experiences this summer with kids needing medical care and both times we were very pleased with the care our campers received. The nurses were attentive and knowledgeable and Dr Lawrence did a great job connecting with a nervous camper.

Had a big scare today, had to take my dad to the ER after finding out his blood pressure was over 200/100, heart rate was pushing over 100. The entire staff at Cedar Park Regional was absolutely on the ball and took very good care of him. Thank you for everything.

After reading all the reviews I'm afraid to deliver in this Hospital, it has extremely bad ratings with billing and Maternity center. Miscommunication with the patient's doctor and nursing staff. Might be looking to deliver at another hospital.

My wife fell at home 2 am and hit her head on the tile floor. Lotsa blood. Ambulance called and she was taken to Cedar Park Regional Medical Center. Someone in a red scrubs took her to get an MRI or CT of her head (don't remember which one).

Said it should take 15-20 min. One hour later staff arrived and said they couldn't get equipment to function.

Later that day another staff personnel was able to get the equipment operational and found she had a brain bleed.

She was transferred to Seton Williamson Hospital in Round Rock.

We won't ever be going to Cedar Park Regional ER again.

We live nearby and have gone to the ER here twice....

We live nearby and have gone to the ER here twice. The first time we had a kid acting like they had heat exhaustion and were chastised by the triage staff for bringing them in at 11pm (if they had acted ill earlier, I would have brought them in sooner... what parent doesn't care about their child?). Care during that visit was ok and the doctor eventually ruled that the child had a viral cold.

The second time we had a head bump and had to come here as urgent care had closed a few minutes prior. We waited in the triage room for over an hour (no patients were admitted during that time). Eventually our child calmed down and we decided to leave. The triage nurse told us we could go as we'd received no care at that point. Later we received a bill for $474.03 for this visit. Our insurance called the hospital back to fight this for us since we weren't seen by a doctor. They reduced the charges down to $91. I understand needing to make some money so an initial bill of $91 would have been reasonable, but having it extremely overbilled in the first place when we just sat in the waiting room was crazy.

We've committed to always just driving down to St. David's and I'd recommend y'all do the same.

If you get DR SUKI WELLER ASK FOR ANOTHET DOCTOR. ...

If you get DR SUKI WELLER ASK FOR ANOTHET DOCTOR. I have been going to Cedar Park for years and have always had a good experience until tonight . I was checked in for post hospitalization care for a kidney injury. The problems had started again I was put on an IV and over 2 hours later had still had no treatment for nausea or pain. Not one person had checked on me. I had to call and got an aide to unhook me from the iv so I good go to the bathroom and be sick there twice. I kept asking for help and test results. Got no answers, no help. If you get DR SUKI WELLER ask for another doctor. She was rude, had no time or concern for me. Not approachable. No time for questions or advice. She wasn't listening to what I was telling her. She wouldn't be someone I would want for help
for anyone. I left in worse shape than when I went in from frustration, sick and in pain . I have never been treated so horribly by a doctor. When I checked out of the hospital after being there for days last week they told me to come back if the symptoms reappeared. Why bother? I'm at home in the same situation. With no answer, not comfortable and with a lot less money.

Compassionate care in the ER after I sustained a serious injury from a fall. I appreciated that nurses found ways to help with pain besides giving me more drugs. Xray tech was helpful in positioning to minimize pain while getting needed xrays. The doctor had a caring demeanor too. Highly recommend!

The hospital is beautiful but be prepared to wait. Even with no one in front of you, be prepared to be shuffled desk to desk with 30 - 45 min waits at each desk with no one present. There is nothing but a phone on each desk for you to call someone. No one seems to care about other people's time. Truthfully, I don't see how they can pay the bills if you can't even get patients with an appointment in the door. We will take our business elsewhere, and we live right down the road.

We had a very bad experience at the ER and would not recommend the ER to anyone. The wait time was rediculous, the staff seemed to not care because they had other patients with more serious injuries, and the quality of care we got from the doctor was third rate at best. Our 15 year old son was injured playing football and we initially took him to his pediatrician who recommended we immediately take him to an ER. We made the mistake of going to this ER because it was closest to where we live. We were in the ER for close to 6 hours. During the time there we asked about the wait time and were very rudely told that other patients were sicker or more injured. It was made very clear to us that the injury our son had was not important to them or in any way not a priority for them to look at or address. We knew that an x-ray would be required and over the course of hours repeatedly attempted to line up an x-ray to save time. No one would listen, and it was never clear who our nurse was or when the doctor would be available. After hours of getting nothing the doctor finally came to see us and did a very limited and basic exam of my son's arm and shoulder. The doctor told us he did not think there was a break but wanted an x-ray to confirm ther was no break. After another extended period of time the x-ray trechnicians came and conducted a series of x-rays. After another extended period of time a nurse showed up with an arm sling. We questioned her about the results of the x-ray and she said the doctor would have to tell us the results but the doctor was not available. After repeated questions the nurse told us that a broken arm would normally be splinted and she had no orders for a splint so it probaby was not broken. After that the doctor showed up and said he didn't see a break and gave very limited instructions about care. The doctor left quickly and we didn't know if we were done and discharged or what was going on. As we were leaving someone asked us about discharge papers and said we should stay until we receive the papers. Immediately after that the billing person showed up to get the insurance information and co-pay. The billing person was the only person in the entire hospital who seemed to show interest or concern. After 6 hours we left. The next day we spoke to other medical professionals and learned how incompetent the care we received was and what the ER doctor should have done better. My son's injury involved his upper arm and shoulder and the doctor never checked for a seperated shoulder, a torn rotator cuff, ligiment damage or anything other than a break. As a result we now have to take our son somewhere else to get a competent exam and treatment. The ER, the doctors and the staff were truely third rate at best. I would recommend that no one go to this ER if other options are available.

In the same boat as Natasha, except that I went there for care for myself. $4600+ in billing for LOADS of inconclusive tests plus $1200+ in ER Dr fees! Would not work with me on any kind of payment plan I could afford. Kept being told to call a number that would "work with me" but the only way they would work with me was if I made less than $400 a month. Just got notice that I will be taken to court if I don't pay up now. Still don't have that kind of money available to pay out... not sure what I'm going to do, but I do know what I wont do, and that's go to Cedar Park Regional Medical Center...

The cardio rehabilitation I received by therapists Jana , Bethany Townsend, Kelly Estes, and April Sako....was outstanding.
Excellent job performance, they have my outmost confidence and respect. In the early sessions I wad discouraged not by thier performances but by the emotional upheaval of the heart attack, denial, depression, anger etc., but thier counseling
attributed to my continuance and success
of my therapy. I am thankful, and they have accomplished thier goal in making me a healthier and confident person. I will miss them but I will occasionally visit my "heart family". Yes they have a "special" place in my heart.

My husband had an outpatient surgery recently. The people in registration were efficient and the nurses preparing him to go to surgery were very good. Everything went downhill when he was transferred to recovery. The doctor came to talk to me about the procedure and assured me that all had gone well. He did tell me that my husband had to stay for an x-ray to make sure all was good, and then he could go home. About 20 minutes later an RN (surgery specialist) came to get me telling me my husband was awake and ready to go home. I was puzzled. I inquired about the x-ray the doctor mentioned. She immediately began looking at all his paperwork, but said the doctor did not write an order. I requested that she check with the doctor before my husband was released. She said she would call. In the meantime the machine that measures heart rate, respiration, etc. starting making a loud noise. I noticed my husband's respiration was at 42 which seemed very low. Another RN that was sitting at the desk along with three other nurses(??) were chatting, laughing, eating and carrying on. I looked at them and said there is a bipping sound on this machine and someone needs to check on my husband. The female nurse sitting behind the desk said "he is not my patient". I said then someone needs to come here and check on him. I believe that every medical staff personnel who was there on duty should be responsible for any and all patients in that area in case of emergency. Just then a doctor walked in and heard the machine, came in and said "I don't know anything about this patient, but I'll try to help." He looked at the machine and told me that actually 42 on respiration is still acceptable since he just got out of surgery. The original RN taking care of him came back in and told the doctor about the x-ray I mentioned. He looked at my husband's paperwork and said "the order is right here." By then several of the "nurses" that were behind the desk came in to my husband's area and said they would call x-ray for my husband. I asked one of the male RN's what the x-ray was for. She said they want to make sure that all is in place and that they didn't puncture his lung. If they did puncture it, right around now he would starting being short of breath. I said so this other nurse was going to send him home and if all was not well, I would have to call 911 because the nurse did not read the orders properly? He just nodded and walked away.

Fortunately, all was well with the x-ray and my husband was good. I don't want to think of what might have happened if all was not well. This is the first time we have used Cedar Park Regional Medical Center and I don't believe we will use them again. The RN's in that surgical recovery should have enough education to be more professional around all the people that were sick and their families, since WE ARE who pay their paychecks. I would write the CEO of this hospital personally, but I couldn't get his email address. Thank you.

My husband and I decided to deliver our first baby here because the good things we heard about the L&D department. It has been a great experience so far. We also really appreciate the free classes they offer to patients. We took a few about newborn care, delivery, and breastfeeding and feel we were really well educated and given access to great resources for before and after our baby is born. They are one of the only hospitals that offer the free classes in the Austin area so we feel really lucky we had access to these.

I had to go to the ER at Cedar Park Regional Medical Center. I had the best care from my nurse, Omar & Dylan. They kept my spirits up while I had to stay there by myself due to COVID. Dr. Haushatler diagnosed my issue. He listened carefully, let me ask questions, and helped me make the best decisions for my care. Kudos to CPRMC!!!! By the way....I just have to say Omar is the BEST!!!!!

My wife, who is a nurse at this hospital, had a ro...

My wife, who is a nurse at this hospital, had a routine outpatient surgery 2 months ago. The operation took a bit longer than anticipated and her surgery had already started later in the day, so by the time she went into recovery, it was close to 7:00PM. I get back there and my wife is coming to and clearly in severe pain and vomiting. She could hardly talk the pain was so bad. The nurse, seemingly eager to get her last patient out the door, explained to my wife that she was simply experiencing gas pain and that she needed to walk around. I asked if she could administer pain and nausea medication but she refused to do anything intravenously, stating she was unable to. She instead gave her an oral dose of hydrocodone. I told her I was concerned about her sending my wife home without the pain and nausea being put under control and she said for her to take ibuprofen or Tylenol as needed and that there wasn't really any medicine for this type of thing. What? My wife just had an organ removed, are you kidding me? Before I knew it, she was handing us clothes to get ready for discharge. I don't think 20 minutes had passed since I came back there.

This nurse was bossy and unaccommodating to say the least.

It turns out it wasn't gas pain but something more severe and we had to come back to the ER after a few days. I'm so glad it wasn't life threatening though.

I am dumbfounded at the lack of professionalism shown at this hospital. I made a formal complaint to the Surgical Director Kristine Wood and after a week and a half, was told that this nurse would be reprimanded.

A few days ago, my wife learned this nurse was not only not punished in any way, they promoted her to a management position. Perhaps bossy and unaccommodating qualities are revered at this business.

I have heard of similar stories and many neighbors choose to drive further than needed to not be seen at this hospital.

Do yourself a favor and avoid this place.

I normally wouldn't go in to the emergency room but it was a Sunday and I had a very very bad allergy on my face and neck. The whole ER was empty but doctor took 15 mins to come in after the nurse left, and decided to not give me an epi pen and instead put me on prednisone and other pills. He didn't even give me a strong enough dose to work, had to go to my GP the following day to get medicine that works. Now I come from a family of doctors so I know when a physician or a hospital doesn't know what it's doing. This hospital really doesn't know what it's doing at all. Furthermore they stuck my insurance with a $1000+ bill. I was lucky, had a high deductable but that was it. The kicker was that they send out a bill on the 15th of this month (which arrived on the 20th in my mail) and expected me to pay in 9 days. Who does that?!?! I called the Billing Hotline to request assistance and no one picks up the phone.

Anyways, 3 days of calling and no response later, I have paid my bill (my deductible), but I will NEVER come here again. The staff and doctors are too busy cracking jokes to come see you, and are too poorly trained to diagnose you properly. And they will charge you way too much for doing almost nothing. This center is a scam, truly the worst! Go see your GP unless you are in a severe accident, and even then go to a different hospital/center.

Cardiac Rehab is awesome! Bethany and Kelly are knowledgeable, professional, kind and compassionate. Plus, we have fun and celebrate milestones. I have learned there are ups and downs in the road to health. They have a unique way to acknowledge issues but helped me to move forward with a "can do" attitude. I look forward to going to Cardiac Rehab 3x a week. I have met many nice seekers of health! I will miss the motivating environment, the great leaders and my fellow athletes. DANGEROUS HOSPITAL!!! I will be reporting to the Texas Medical Board!! I went to the ER for severe back pain that I never had before. There were NO tests preformed NONE!! I was given steroids and muscle relaxers and sent home. The pain never subsided. I followed up with my primary as noted and sent to St. Davids hospital where they did do tests and found that I need emergency spinal surgery. As far as I am concerned they should not be paid, as it cost me money, time, and prolonged pain that could have been resolved right then and there. I will be reporting this to the medical board, and my insurance company. They sent me home with an unstable spinal cord injury that has left me paralyzed from the waist down. At this time, my goal is to have the hospital reviewed. Shame on your poor practices. Since you don't have it together on your own, maybe reporting you to the Joint Commission, Texas Medical Board, and whoever else can prevent your continued damage to people. I am sure, someone will reach out with there apologies, but sorry won't cut it, so save yourself the time and use that energy to clean up your act. My disgust over your laziness and incompetence has left me bed bound. YOU should be held accountable, and believe me, you will be.

What a joke of an ER. Had to take my toddler here ...

What a joke of an ER. Had to take my toddler here as he came down with some worrisome symptoms and our insurance's 24/7 nurse line told us to go in. To be fair, everything in the first half of our visit was ok. The staff were all nice during the entire visit and we got back to a room immediately as they had no other patients ahead of us. So once the doctor checks out my kid and we do some x-rays... we wait... and wait... and wait some more. My wife and I both understand that our kid probably wasn't too high on the priority list of patients for an ER, and that was fine with us. But we literally waited for over two hours after seeing the doctor and having x-rays with no answers or even an appearance by the doctor. At least not in our room... of course I got to watch as he had plenty of time to chat casually with the nurses out at the desk though. After the third or fourth time asking the nurses over the course of two hours if there was any word on what was going on with my kid, and then finally asking the doctor directly, as he was sitting in an office, if we would be getting out of here soon, a nurse delivered our discharge papers... With no mention of the x-ray results! Or any suggested treatments! Or anything useful for that matter other than a discharge packet with the wrong reason for visit and useless home treatment information to go with it. When I asked the nurse about the x-ray results, he didn't know that one had even been performed. He went to go ask the doctor and came back telling us, "the doctor said it's a virus." No details from the doctor still sitting in his office within my line of sight just watching this interaction. Just that it's a virus. The primary issue we came in for was never addressed, we received no treatment recommendations, had no face to face follow up with the doctor, and spent over 4 hours total in an ER that was never more than 1/4 full... All with a angry toddler. They certainly live up to the reputation they have built in the community.
