The Court At Round Rock Review

I love working here. Great teamwork and employees that truly care. Family environment and an awesome boss, Anna. Worked in healthcare 13 years and this place is by far the best!

The Court at Round Rock is a great place for "Seniors." We have only good things to say about all the staff. Many fun activities and entertainment are planned for all. We enjoy the food very much. When my nieces and nephews found The Court, we fell in love with the staff and it felt like home.

My grandma lives here and loves it the staff are very polite and the food is great!

Very pleased with The Court. Our parents have been here going on 4 years, & I have no complaints. The staff are superb in their interactions with the residents. The building is always clean from what I've seen & I've seen most of it.

There are activities for the residents, both planned by staff & by residents. The small library is pretty well supplied, the game room/Multipurpose Room is well kept. There are two garden areas for the residents to get outside without having to go out of the bldg proper. And the security of the complex is excellent.

The dining area is, for all intents & purposes a small restaurant. The meals daily planned & prepared by an actual chef...and I have yet to have had a bad meal! (The "Court Burger is killer!! ) And the portions are very generous. The staff that wait on the folks also seem to really enjoy what they are doing, the interactions with the folks & they actually know magically every resident by name AND pretty well know their eating habits before they sit down.

We've just moved the folks to the "assisted living" side of the complex...and I'm just as pleased with the care and attention they are receiving there also.

I'm not here on a daily basis, but as often as my schedule allows, and I've never found the complex in any condition other than extremely well kept. I've gotten to know the Facility Maintenance Mgr & I really am impressed with his knowledge. There's not much he & his assistant can't or don't tackle! Some people have slightly elevated expectations on how fast something can be fixed...and some things take time. The shower floor cracked in the folks apt, and they seemed to take a while to fix (I was told), & when I checked on it they were trying to plan it out for when the folks could be gone for a few hours due to fumes. That's when I started becoming impressed with the care they take of the residents.

So I'll end this by saying that when I weigh all options available, consider location, look at what is provided for the cost...I'm extremely glad we found The Court to meet the needs of our parents.

in the 'assisted' side, twice now the court has simply discontinued giving my aunt her medicines. one for diabetes and one for blood pressure, for like a week, while they waited for the new prescription for a higher dosage, rather than continue with the previous prescription.
they've also been dishonest about rooms available and what can be covered.
and, the medicine chest meds -- like aspirin, tums, vitamins, simply disappeared.

Horrible place to work at, place is infested with roaches, all staff is very rude. Wouldn t recommend AT ALL!

Just moved to this area from Oklahoma City and I am a registered nurse and go into this facility to see patients. The care there is great and staff really care about the residents. I been in a lot of bad assisted living and this is what an assisted living facility should be.

My name is Grace Telander and I have lived in Round Rock all my life. I watched The Court being built and never thought that some day I would call it my home. From 2000 to 2008 I had one brother-in-law and three sisters that made The Court their home until their passings. I have had many other relatives and friends that lived here as well. The Court has always had a very special place in my heart becuase of the wonderful staff and friendly residents. There was never any doubt that The Court would be my retirement home. My sister Blanche and I moved here in April 2016 and are proud to call this place our home,

My mother and I are SO GLAD to have found this place! My mother had previously been in two other independent living homes in the area before finally discovering Court at Round Round and this is THE place to be!!!

My mother is constantly raving about how great the food is there as well as all the staff. Chef Becky prepares fresh food every day (not processed or previously frozen crap!) and the meals are served like a restaurant. You are seated with a menu, and you select whatever you'd like to have. They're also very accommodating and do their best to please you when you want or need to change things around (ie: substitutions, more of this, none of that, etc). Heck, they even host a Happy Hour once a week!

The staff really does care about you. They have people at the front desk 24/7, they have 7 managers, and they don't just have 1 activity director, rather they have several activity people!!

The apartments have a full kitchen (though I doubt you'll ever use it) and they have a really nice gardening area, a HUGE exercise room and more. I can tell you, I've not seen my mother this happy in years. I'd like to give a HUGE THANK YOU to everyone at the Court at Round Rock for making my mom feel welcome and special.

Wonderful community! The residents are so happy. Every time I visit, the place is buzzing. Love it here.

I have been at The Court at Round Rock for almost 2 years. My wife, Christine and I, are amazed at the level of care that we receive from the staff each day. They are alway courteous and pleasant to work with. The management has been consistent, and under the leadership of Shawn, strives to make everyone happy and assists residents to achieve their own levels of comfort.

My wife and I started at The Court in independent living and had to transfer to assisted living shortly thereafter. Shawn and her team made the transition seemless.

Furthermore, I have always been one to compare food to my mother s home cooking, and The Court, always matches and exceeds it in every fashion.

I would recommend The Court at Round Rock to anyone looking for independent or assisted living.

Moving my 94 year old mother-in-law from OH to TX and we looked at 4 places and chose The Court. We like what they had to offer and hope mom will love it too. Will post more as time goes on.

This community does a great job caring for its residents. Since COVID has become prevalent in our community, they have done an excellent job of remaining diligent so their residents can feel safe. As a registered nurse, I am always impressed by communities like this. Also, the staff are always helpful, kind, and personable. They really get to know their residents and provide a warm and hospitable environment so people can really feel comfortable living here.

If you're looking for the perfect place to call 'home', stop and visit the Court at Round Rock. This is an established community with staff who have been there for many years! Executive Director, Anna will do everything in her power to help you feel at home! Must see!

This place is extremely good at carrying their weight when it comes to keeping your loved ones safe from this virus. They go the extra mile to make sure that everyone is safe and everything is sanitized. The staff is delightful and they all seem to enjoy their job and really love being there. I love how much they truly care for the residents. I would most definitely feel safe bringing one of my loved ones to live here.

Extremely pleased with our experience at The Court! We highly recommend this beautiful place to everyone who has to make that tough decision to put a loved one someplace because they can no longer live alone. The staff could not be better or more efficient! We were extremely happy with the cleanliness, the food, the amenities, but mostly the peace of mind we felt leaving our Mom here. A 10 plus rating for everything! A special thank you to Shaun & Bob!
