This past Friday I went into the ER after falling with boiling water causing severe burns on my face, neck, and arm.
When finally got to a room (which wasn t even a room kind of just a place with a bed and curtain) I was clearly in a lot of pain and the doctor took 25 minutes to come and talk to me. I knew boiling water had gotten inside my ear and I told him that and he didn t even take the time to look in my ear. It took me crying and asking 3 times to look in my ear for him to finally look. He told me there was nothing he could do for me except put cold towels on it and he gave me some cream. He then told me to follow up with a wound care place a week later. We felt a little uneasy considering how bad the burns were so we went to Dell Seaton the next day where the doctors told us CPRMC should ve sent me there immediately. They said I was at risk for infections and severe scarring if I would ve followed what CPRMC told me. When I got to DSMC they told me my burns were so severe that I needed a surgery to lower the risk of infection because of the burns on my face. I ve been hospitalized for 2 days now where I m in a ton of pain and missing work all because The dr wasn't thorough enough and brushed me aside. I felt as if just because I didn t have insurance they didn t want me there.

This hospital s ER is probably one of the worst I ve ever seen/been to. They do not care about their patients and it seems as if they just want to rush everyone out.
I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOSPITAL.

I walked with severe abdominal pain and walked out with severe abdominal pain. In thime words of the physician that attended me. "I don't know what to tell you." I was sent home. And advices me to return if my abdominal pain gets any worse. But I was there with severe abdominal pain already. I've so many bad experiences here but figured it's 5 minutes from home. And I need to figure out what's wrong.

I just recently completed my 12 week program with Cardio Pulmonary Rehab. It was a great experience for me. I had my quadruple bypass in February, but, because of Covid-19, I had to wait until May to begin my rehab. Bethany and Kelly were my support angels for the program. They were very caring of everyone s needs. They kept everything very sterile; I felt very safe all the time. They were very diligent with the monitoring of our numbers. They observed an issue that I was having and they helped me through it. Again, the main things for me are that I felt watched over and very safe. Thanks!!!

Really bad emergency room experience on two separate occasions. Both times I was misdiagnosed. This hospital seems clean and empty (almost like a ghost town) and it s quick to get in, and so close to my home but I will NEVER go there again.

With all honesty I would not even rate a one star ...

With all honesty I would not even rate a one star . The staff and doctors seemed under trained and not knowledgeable enough on their equipment or patient health problems. For example, I was admitted to the hospital for a stroke. I needed an MRI & MRA scan I was there for over two days. No one paid attention that I needed a wider machine. Until I was getting ready for the scan. That been said I've to do an outpatient MRI & MRA somewhere else. Also, I had a Echo Cardiogram too. The doctor wanted to discharge me without the results of my echo cardriogram. The nurse said they'll call me to tell me the results. My discharge papers were ready and signed without the doctor getting the results on a patient with a stroke. I refused to leave and stayed until I got my result. The list can go on ,on all the errors on my hospital stay. The Doctors Preeti Venkatraman and Chittireddy don't seem ready or trained enough to practice medicine. The Dr. Venkatraman also mentioned that MRI's don't really show anything about 95% of the time. If that would be so then MRI's would not be done. The only staff that was kind and had bed side manners were Ebrima Kinter (RN) and Erin (RN)

Once admitted hospital staff is great. The ER communication between Drs and nurses was terrible. I was in severe pain....to point of vomiting. I pushed nurse call multiple times with no response(slow day btw). And when they did finally respond it was all pain meds will be given at next dr ordered times . But someone no one could tell me when this time was. It took multiple family members and over an hour to get anything. Pain management is key with ER. Simply not ok.

I just had a baby here... The postpartum nurses were so kind and so caring. My little girl was in the NICU FOR almost 2 weeks and I honestly don't know how i would have made it without those women in the nicu. They truly are AMAZING women. The took amazing care of my baby girl and me as well. I can not say enough good things about them. They are wonderful people and I am so so so thankful for all they did for me and my baby girl.

I went here to get a Echocardiogram inside outpatient clinical services. The Sonographer who administered my test was amazing. I'm a nervous person and she put me at ease. Not to mention the test went by like a breeze took about 25min. She went out of her to make me feel at ease and I appreciate that. I dont remember her name but brown hair, tall and wore black glasses.

I have undergone two knee replacements at Cedar Park Outpatient Surgery Center using Dr. Logan from Texas Orthopedics and then recovering on the Orthopedic floor at CPRMC. In late 2018, I traveled over 100 miles to have my left knee replaced. My surgery and recovery experience was incredible. The anesthesiologist department is using the most current innovations for patient comfort. The Orthopedic floor is managed by Nurse Stacey. I've never seen a hospital unit run with such efficiency and the highest standards of care. There is absolutely no apathy or oversight on the Orthopedic unit. Nurse Nancy and Nurse Ashley treated me with kindness and competency, and I never had to ask for anything because they anticipated all of my needs. I have special medication needs that must be issued at very specific times, and they never forgot about my med times. In mid 2019, I returned to have my right knee done. It is a reassuring feeling to see that I recognized all the faces in both the outpatient surgery center and the Orthopedic floor. Nurse Nancy and Nurse Ashley were my same nurses. Roxy was my same physical therapist. It's such a nice feeling to have trust in the people that are responsible for my recovery and healing. I would travel more than 100 miles to have this kind of medical care. I am so thankful that I have a newfound mobility that was very much made possible by the awesome Orthopedic team at CPRMC.

This shout out goes to the Cedar Park Regional Medical Centers Physical Therapy & Rehabilitation Center. I am a bilateral hip replacement recovery patient, 6 years in! I started treatment for severe leg pains due to iliopsoas tendinitis and other problems related to my surgeries, exercises and life. I have been receiving treatment from Kimberly McElroy to help me rehabilitate my legs/body from my previous and ongoing ailments. I am basically a month and half in and have already made GREAT progress. With her help in providing knowledge in proper stretches and exercises I was able to alleviate my leg pain and I am starting to slowly correct my body alignment as well.

I had a surgery here yesterday and recovered for one night on the 4th floor. Ever staff member that I have come into contact with has been outstanding. They are kind and attentive and compassionate. Three in particular were Elsy in pre-op, and on the fourth floor were Karen & Nancy. Knowing I can't have my husband with me due to covid, I'm appreciative that I'm in such good hands.

Really happy with our PT experience. My daughter was treated by Kimberly McElroy and she did a fantastic job, potentially helping her avoid a minor surgery. Kimberly was very engaging and communicative with us and knew exactly how to help. She explained the process to us every step of the way and made sure my daughter understood the steps for successful therapy. She was also really fun to work with. I hope my daughter doesn't have to receive any additional treatment in the future, but if she does we'll certainly be going back to Kimberly.

I was treated with such compassion and care during my stay there. It was scary enough to be dealing with a emergency medical situation that landed me 13 days in hospital but during a pandemic! It was very lonely since you can't have visitors but the nurses and techs were so friendly and comforting when I had no one else. My father passed away while I was in there and Nurse Sweemy went above and beyond to get my husband in there to be able to be there for me. I looked forward to my 4am date with Angie from the lab to take my blood......she has a great energy and her attitude is infectious. She was so god at her job I often didn't even know she was already done poking me!! She is the best poker!

My grandfather has received horrible care at this facility. His Ostomy bag was completely full and overflowing. This was pointed out to the nurses multiple times and they said it was fine and wouldn't back up into his kidneys. The Ostomy doctor came in and was horrified. She said that it was backing up into his kidneys and was making them worse. We also found out that the patient in the room next door was given the wrong antibiotic and had a bad reaction. Later that day we attempted to put an extra chair in our room and the charge nurse Kathleen threatened to file a report about it. The nurse sitting next to her immediately apologized and said we could move the chair. It's no surprise why over half of the rooms are vacant.

I thought I had a good experience with them only to find out later that they gave me the wrong estimate for my ultrasound and mammogram- they forgot to mention there would be another bill for an additional $200 from the imaging company on top of the $370 bill that I paid. If I had known it would be close to $600, i would have gone somewhere else. Now ARA has sent my bill to a collections agency. I don't care if I signed something that said I would get two bills, if you can't give me an actual estimate for services rendered, don't pretend to- I don't appreciate getting a surprise extra $200 bill after thinking I had paid what I owed.

On 9/14/2020, I went into Cedar Park Regional Medical Center for an echocardiogram. The technician in charge of the procedure was Ms. Karine North. I found her to be very personable, professional and extremely knowledgable about her craft. Thanks to her people and job skills, the entire procedure took only about 40 minutes. She should be recognized for an outstanding job. Similarly, all the CPRMC staff I encountered that day were extremely friendly and professional. It is comforting to know that a caring medical facility exists in our own back yard.

Seems like one of those places for profit and exploit workers. While my wife and I selected this hospital to have our first kid. The LDR area was nice and the nurses were very attentive, but once we got to post-partum it was like the threw us into the most ghetto section of the hospital. There were barely any nurses and probably about a quarter of them were straight up rude and treat you as if you're a customer at Walmart. Barely checked on, never had a schedule for lactation or pedetrician. I mean it seems like it could be a good hospital if they invest in workers and infrastructure. Gonna pass on this hospital next time.

Husband went to ER having a stroke while all the staff did was complain that other staff members weren't doing their job, was admitted and the Dr. prescribed medication for him which we found out on his discharge. He was only given one aspirin during his entire stay. Horrible place!! Never take anyone here unless you don't care if they die or not. Dr. told him he had a hole in his heart and blood going into his brain, then she says oops I have the wrong patient information.

UPDATE!

UPDATE!
** I actually received a bill for over $300 for the 3 to 4 minutes I was actually onsite per the following event...HA:

Worst ER ever, and sadly, I've visited many. I'd give 0 stars if it allowed it...
I arrived late Monday night, March 21, 2016, with severe difficulty breathing, a problem I'd been dealing with mildly for some many months and finally escalated and seemed an emergency to both my wife and I. Upon arrival I was immediately accepted and seated.
The young male attendant receiving nurse began to check my blood pressure and pulse/02 and asked "how long had this been going on". My reply: "it started about June last year" which was the exact truth but apparently not the correct answer. In the most remarkably condescending and sarcastic tone, his reply: " I can't enter that in the computer, now when did this start?" I asked him "why not" and then just that quickly decided I wouldn't stand for this, ripped off the monitors, told him to "get f_=$#d" or similar, and walked out.
Noteworthy is that I've visited this ER 3 times, twice for myself, once for a family member, and experienced similar attitudes from at least one of the attendants EVERY time. Coincidentally, I commented to my wife I was hesitant to go there (although by far the most convenient), based on past experience , before I even left home.

I then drove to Seton Northwest, where I received marginally better, perhaps not, service from the aging female receiving nurse, sarcastic replies to each of my answers to her queries. However the rest of the staff was just fine. This was also my second visit to this ER, the first being a simple procedure that failed completely, and was later easily resolved in a basic clinical/GP office.

Also noteworthy, both my children were born at the aforementioned hospitals, coincidentally, one at each, and both of those experiences were superb.

Maybe it's a Seton ER thing, quite unacceptable IMO. I would try Brackenridge, St Davids Round Rock, or anywhere else for ER needs if you have the luxury to choose(which is unfortunately often not the case), I've had positive experiences at both of these two mentioned in my past.

Seriously, AVOID Cedar Park Medical Center ER at all costs, unless they make some serious changes in personnel in the ER dept, just have a look at the many negative reviews.

The billboards are incredibly deceiving. We were "admitted" very quickly and the people up front were very friendly. However, once we made it back to the room, we seemed to be forgotten about. We were there for 5 hours, my blood pressure was taken twice, the doctor came in for less than 5 minutes. The bill is over $1,000 with my high deductible insurance plan. I wouldn't mind paying the bill so much if I felt like anyone there did anything to help! Hindsight is always 20/20, I suppose. Won't be making an emergency room trip again.

I believe attending their hourly cardiac rehabilitation sessions over a period of three months had significant impacts on improving my health condition. When my son broke (and disfigured) his arm just a mile from this hospital, we rushed him there, but the whole time I was wondering if we should drive into Austin and go to the children's hospital. I am SO glad we stayed in Cedar Park.
We were immediately put in a room and checked out. We had a plan of action and x-rays within 20 minutes or so of arriving, and then his bones were reset using conscious sedation and he was splinted. We were in and out in three hours, being helped the whole time. I can't speak highly enough about Dr. Nate LeFleur, the nurse Angela (___ I can't remember her last name ) and respiratory therapy and even just the staff we passed in the hall. My son's arm looked like one of those awful sports injuries that make people nauseous, so it was quite traumatic for all of us, but Dr. Nate (and his staff) were compassionate, sincere, confident and precise. When we followed up with the orthopedic doc the next day, they were impressed with the job that had been done. I'm sooo thankful that we had the exact staff we did, and I'm grateful we chose this ER! I pray we don't have to return, but being a mom of two boys, I'm glad to know we have excellent care just around the corner!

I went into the ER with a laceration across and around the knuckle of my left index finger. They gave me a tetanus shot, injected me with a numbing concoction and applied 6 non-dissolvable stitches to the wound. I was in and out in an hour, if not less. I figured it would run me a few hundred dollars, but my jaw hit the floor when I received the bill - altogether, $3,356.04, only a fraction of which my insurance covered. Is $3,356.04 really the running rate for 6 stitches these days!? That is an astronomically high, ridiculously absurd amount of money for a quick mend. I am going to dispute the living crap out of this, but I fear I will end up paying what they say I owe. My return to this facility will be completely contingent on how this gets handled. If 6 stitches truly costs 3+ grand (that's $560 a stitch, folks), then I will not be returning.

This is my second year to do my mammogram with Roxanne in the imaging center. In 15 years of mammos, I have never gotten pictures as good as she gets. She doesn't just position your breast, she gets the whole body (arm, knees, feet, shoulder, neck, chin, etc) in correct position to get the most amount of breast tissue seen. And then, she lets you decide the amount of pressure you can take. So the more you take the better picture she gets. AND I was amazed at how much of the chest wall and part of the under arm that she can get. I highly recommend her if you want the best results!!

I am extremely disappointed and beyond frustrated at this ERs blatant disrespect for their oath and the law. I drove my wife to this ER late on December 20th around 2300 hours, my wife was actively seizing in the car, had lost all feeling on her left side and speech was slurred. My mother in law went in while I held my wife to ensure her safety while she was seizing. The ER attendant refused to send help outside and told her it s going to be a three hour wait anyways. They refused our right to care and in return her health deteriorated even further as we had to go to St. David s Round Rock hospital in a completely different town! She is now in ICU after getting transferred to St. David s North Austin on a ventilator due to the nonstop seizures.

Stay away from this place if at all possible. I will be looking into further action for something that should
Have never happened.

Went for MIR. Tech was Kash. He was excellent. Very calming and made it easy for me to get into that MRI machine, considering I have fear of confined spaces. On another note, my Doc. wanted me to get the MRI STAT, and the hospital fit me in. Thank you!

I was just released from being impatient. I was admitted through the ER. First problem was that the ER doctor was going to release me when I went in for chest pain and went to go sign my discharge orders and then came back and said oh well your ekg is a little abnormal we better admit you. Plus she told me I was a diabetic and was prescribing medication for diabetes. I met with a Cardiologist, the only one that was compete my whole stay. She said she would run some tests and she agreed I should be admitted. She ordered tests to be done once I was moved upstairs to my room. One was never done I found out upon discharge. One was done 4 hours later than it should have been done. My cardiologist agree to discharge me with medication for my blood pressure and follow up with my doctor. She signed my discharge orders. By the way she ran my A1C and I am NOT a diabetic like the ER doctor said. Well the nurse decided without talking to my cardiologist that my blood pressure was too high still to leave so she gave me an injection to lower it before she would process the discharge from the cardiologist. Well the injection sky rocketed my blood pressure and heart rate to the point I was about to have a stroke! My doctor came in and said she never ordered that. I had to had an emergency ekg and then was not allowed to be discharge at risk of stroke. Then they gave me pills to counteract the injection and gave me too much so my blood pressure did the opposite and took a dive to the point where I almost passed out. I had narrowing vision, sweating buckets, headache, dizziness, and disoriented. At this point I was not staying a minute longer. This hospital is incomplete. They seriously could have killed me or made me have a life altering stroke! Don t ever go here!

My husband had a hip replacement and it was a HUGE success! They have an excellent ortho floor! The class you take before surgery is a great asset for those who aren't in the medical field and don't know what to expect. The nursing staff was phenomenal - preop all the way to discharge! Physical therapy was amazing as well!

THE WORST HOSPITAL IN AUSTIN. Sent my dad home after 5 hours in the ER with nothing to lower his skyrocketing blood sugar and not a single pain prescription. Having to go to another hospital. They only care about getting people out the door. Would rate zero stars if possible. PLEASE take your loved ones elsewhere.

Nice hospital. Clean. Nurses and other staff was clear with info and procedures.
My nurse Ashley was the best!

Update - Cedar Park overbilled me before my surgery and I am having a difficult time getting my money back. While I still feel the care I received was great my rating has changed to a 2 star rating.

NEVER EVER USE THIS ER!!!! My friend, whom I will not name, was having a miscarriage. She came to the ER, blood everywhere, and was told to go sit and wait! When they finally got to her, they told her to WALK to her room, despite saying she couldn't! When she stood up, she told me she felt everything "fall out" so she actually had the miscarriage IN THE WAITING ROOM! Believe it or not, there's more, bad doctor, poor nurses' attitudes, etc., but you get the idea. I'd give it zero stars, but it wouldn't let me click the Publish button without clicking at least one.

I went to the ER second evening in a row. My 2 year old was running a fever and kept complaining of pain in his head and belly. I was waiting to be checked in for over an hour with only 3 people in front of me while the nurses kept laughing in the room which you can see through the glass. After waiting for that hour the nurse that checked my son did a rectal temp check and couldn't even get the temperature so she just left him like that and asked us if we were back for the same reason as the day before I answered yes and added more symptoms he had. After being seen by her we were sent back to the lobby to wait another 30 minutes, when we where taken to the triage we waited for 45 more minutes before we decided just to drive the hour for him to be seen in Dell's Children Hospital because the nurse had been sitting chatting to the nurse next to her, they didn't bother see why had he been crying the whole time and why his face was flushed. So I took him to Dell's and they verified what he had which was RSV, liquid on his appendicitis and ear infection on both his ears with a non stop fever. Now I know next time.. I have to drive to Austin or Round Rock for a better check up in the ER.
