Hopefully you will never have to deal with this 'independent' party CED. CED would contact me through my insurance, but I was told through my insurance that they could not reach me. They haven't even tried to call. I just got a text to call them back.

CED is very blunt, curt and downright rude, both in writing and orally. They don't take the time to speak to you and explain how it works. It is assumed that you understand, although you have never had a report drawn up by a loss adjuster. These people clearly don't feel like working and helping people move forward.

Very unprofessional, this is not how bad this can be called a loss adjuster. Comes in and doesn't feel like looking after the car. Hangs around it says I've seen enough and appraisals without expertise. Poor victims of damage this is expertise at a very bad level.

Amateurish. Was called by the case handler that they would pay the current value of my stolen scooter .. I have taken out extra insurance to get the purchase value in case of theft for 3 years. Mister was not aware of this and still wanted to ship me off with the current value. Then indicated that it is clearly on the policy schedule and Mister would sort it out and I would be called back. Not called back after 1 week. Called again and was told the money is being transferred. No excuse nothing. Not neat and very unprofessional. I do not intend to sit on the chair of the practitioner. How can you overlook something like that

My first experience is very bad (after being insured for 13 years). It may be that the CED employee is responsible for this. My tip: it is best to hire an expert instead of CED and you are also entitled to counter-expertise by another expert (both are reimbursed by the insurance).

After a visit from their expert. I was left feeling assured that the damages would be covered by the insurance. He left me in no doubt and guaranteed it. I was not surprised as the circumstances of the damages where exactly why people have a liability insurance. Someone damages something of someone else and they have insurance for when this ocurrs.

So one week passes and then i recieve an email that the insurance company will not be paying out for the damages.

This is a doubly cruel. Firstly the damage in the first place then the promise of insurance coverage and then the withdrawal.

I have rarely experienced such a cruel and unprofessional company. I would not encourage anyone to take out policys with this diabolical lying company. They are the reason people do not trust insurance companies.

This company was founded by an experienced and seasoned con man. The fraud just splashes out. You have to put some cash in the left pocket of their employees if they want to move in front of you. I'm outstandingly shocked at how insanely bad this company is with dealing claims - I'm waiting now since 5 months for my money. A car insured with their company drove against my car and it was 100% his fault and I have proof of that! However, they say that I'm 50% at fault WITHOUT even investigating the witness! I call them twice every week to just get some overview and nothing has happened yet even though 5 MONTHS have passed. Instead, they break my right to privacy by sending my private information to strangers, trying to keep the money from students (me) and never inform me about anything. The only way I got information is when I spend a great amount of my private time. Not once I got a call from them, even though I asked a dozen times for that. I've tried being patient and working with this bad service, but nothing has come from them since those 5 months! I will search for legal aid because this is UNACCEPTABLE!

My insurance company had the settlement of storm damage that caused a leakage to my roof handled via CED. It took almost a year to get the damage repaired. That could certainly have been faster as far as I am concerned.
I did not experience contact with CED employees as professional at all. I got the impression that the assignment was to "send the customer" as much as possible "into the forest". The topper was that I called about the fact that in case of rain the water ran along the walls because no temporary repair had taken place, after which the employee indicated: "That is not a problem because the damage to walls and floor that is caused by this falls. nevertheless under consequential damage and that will be reimbursed anyway ". Talking about limitation of claims ..................

CED engaged by counterparty after a collision for valuation of my car. CED came up with a correct current value, they also asked for the purchase invoice (had the car less than two months). Despite the age, they managed to estimate the value of the car!

Do not do business with this company. After 32 days I receive an invoice while we were at home. I still have the mail changes in my mail. Gentleman on the phone refuses to give his name and hangs up intrusively while I have the right to explain myself. Invoice was drawn up 1.5 months ago. Hopefully I will receive a credit note to solve this problem. I was literally sent from cupboard to wall. This 1 star is already too much!

Seriously folks, it's no joke. 1 star is even a compliment to this company for how amateur they are. Never do business and if they have to get out of insurance ask if they can send another company stay away from CED. Liars

Not recommended! The independent expert appeared to be biased. Apparently they are also known for that! Do not call the "mafia" company for nothing.
