Potawatomi Area Council, BSA Review

I have been going to Long Lake since 1992 when I was going there for Young Women's Camp. Now I am able to take my son as a Cub Scout.
I absolutely love how the camp is set up and all the staff.

Excellent camp! Awesome job with social distancing and making it the best experience possible for the Scouts during COVID.

I went here for a week of summer camp, and I had a great time. I greatly recommend it for any scouting group looking for a place to go for summer camp.

I had a horrible time here the food is terrible and it is way to big of a camp

Great Cub Scout/Boy Scout camp. It's well taken care of and right on the lake.

Awesome BSA camp! The zip line is cool and I loved the climbing tower.

Been there for the last 8 years every summer. Summer camp has a lot of merit badge options and a good choice of outposts. Zip line, canoe, kayak, stand up paddle boarding and shooting sports all in one place. #BeThere

This camp is great. It's a safe place to grow up.

I had a great time up at Long lake sledding and spending time with the other troops up there. It was just really heartbreaking to see all the damaged trees from the straight line winds that happened up there but still a great place to go!

I was a Cubmaster and went there with my son who was a WEBELO for a three night four day jamboree in '91 or '92?. Never forget that event. Second day a tornado passed within a mile or two of camp, high winds and four inches of rain in about one hour caused most of the canvas tents to collapse and soak the sleeping bags.
But even with this the 23 boys in my campsite had a blast.

This is my favorite lake out of all of the lakes. This lake is very wide and I love it. The fish are delicious and are perfect for fish taco recipes.

Great Boy Scout camp. My son loves the shooting sports there.

It is an amazing place for not only Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts, but also for families and friends. I loved it and if you ever go I'll bet you will love it too.

An amazing Boy Scout Camp. Good staff, excellent facilities! Its big enough to make you feel secluded, yet small enough where you get to know people that your spending the week with. A great place to spend one or more weeks of your summer

Favorite memories of a young man. I need to go back and visit, if that's even possible. Is there a time when the camp is open to BSA Alumnus to take a tour?

Cool camp for scouts. Love the target ranges. Food - not so good but hey.

A wonderful Boy Scout camp I've always loved. They make improvements every year. The staff are great, very fun and well-maintained camp!
