Casino Miami, Cruise Ship. Review

Didn't expect the cruise experience was that nice, although we had to stay on the boat last day due to bad weather, there was enough things to do on board

5th cruise with Norwegian but the Sky was by far the oldest and less exciting boat. I give 5 stars because norwegian is great but the sky is too small. 3 days later and I still feel my equilibrium off.

Pleasant atmosphere, customers knew proper etiquette ! Many activities to participate in, Courteous staff, LOTS OF WONDERFUL FOOD! Met a huge amount of multicultural knowledgeable people. Did not witness any inappropriate behaviors as seen openly on other cruise line. The cruise director was pleasant and always assessable! Everyone had fun without the inappropriate TRASHY BEHAVIORS and nudity . Passengers were RESPECTFUL of each other! Mature crowd 25 yrs-92 yrs, M A T U R E , very few children. Lots of opportunities & variety of shore excursions.

Usually good prices and good ships. Recently did the Escape ship and service was lacking a little.

Absolutely incredible vacation experience. The ship was fun, the staff were friendly and the destinations are well selected. I highly recommend Norwegian for your next cruise!

Crowded and loud in common areas. Very slow service in dining areas. Good food and friendly staff. The best shows of all the cruise lines.

Awful! Our first cruise. No one took anytime to explain what was go g on. One night I slipped and fell on the deck. A steward just walked by looked at me and me and kept going. My husband and a kind stranger helped me up. The food was so-so It was just a terrible experience.

I paid for the couch package and bottled water, I didn't get it, and I still have to run after the company bureaucracy to try to get a refund. They don't care about the customer.

The cruise ship over all is under average. The crew is very attentive, , food is average, the sports bar has no American sports stations, just the same British soccer game over and over again, entertainment venues below average, drink package exception , excellent

Crew was very nice, cabin was comfortable, private Island (Cay) was great.

Crusing with NCL was by far one of the best vacations of my life. Never have I had so much fun in such a small amount of time. We sailed on the Escape and it was beyond amazing. The food, service and drink packages were exceptional for the price and your stateroom was perfectly taken care of. It was my first cruise so as much as I'd love to give someone else a try these guys at NCL really blew my experience out of the water, figuratively of course. Can't wait to go back.

Beautiful ship. Norwegian Getaway. It was BIG! Small pool. Tons of activities. Good food. Great music.

None of the soap dispensers work in the public bathrooms

Cruising is my favorite way to see different places.

Second time on the Getaway. The first experience was a bit better than this time. Tip your bartenders and you will get the best service. Make sure you do not get a stateroom above fat catz, you won't be able to sleep.

Love this cruise line. They employ some of the best people making travel with them very enjoyable.

The elevator does not work. We had to carry the bags stairs down.

On board now, less than stellar performance so far.
1) drink package - does not include any bottles water (separate fee) or any canned sodas ($2 ea)...how ridiculous is that. I truly hate being nickeled and dimed to tears...and find NCL's beverage package to be lacking greatly.
2) unless you are an experienced NCL traveler and know the drill...you will not find decent openings for specialty dining...either too early or too late will be what's left for you pick.
3) After finally completing reservations for dinners at leftover obscured times, we then could not match I single restaurant reservation with ANY availability seating at any of the onboard entertainment/shows
4) beware of the internet package - it works horribly everywhere on the ship, but especially in your stateroom...I had forgotten how bad dail-up internet service was...until now

More to follow...I have spoken to mgmt...awaiting feedback to see what's fixed and what's not

During the cruise, friendly crew and staff. The service on board is exceptional. You really feel welcomed.

But the phone service isn't that good, I had some problems with my latitude account, and even though I called 4 or 5 times, they did not solve them. However, It took me 2 or 3 minutes to solve the problems in the ship.

Also the website isn't so friendly.

The total experience is good though.

I'm a frequent cruiser and NCL is my cruise line of choice.

It is very crowded but everything moves fast. Norwegian makes it easy to register and security is not like TSA at the airports. Everybody very friendly.

An awesome cruise line! This was my first cruise and the staff was so friendly and accommodating! Everything was clean and I felt right at home everywhere I went. The food was especially good in the specialty restaurants. I would highly recommend NCL if you are planning to cruise the Caribbean.

On Jade, nice specialty restaurants, buffet was ok, nice balcony stateroom. Lost a pair of glasses on board in either a main dining room or the casino and after reporting it to guest services within an hour they we're never found. Kept asking each area to look for them but they refused and said check guest services which we did daily.

Lovwd the cruise, and the food. The people were a little different. Lots of loud music and etc.

There was an easy accessible taxi, uber area. Getting on and off ship was a breeze

Norwegian is great, everything...except boarding/demarcation which is kind of a cluster, which most are from what I have experienced. Lots of charges for extras like WiFi/ movies, go-carts, bowling and other things. Other than that, it was really nice, staff exceptionally nice and always had a smile!

Norwegian cruises are the best! Staff and service are excellent. Price is also highest. We went on the Brantley Gilbert country music cruise. 1500$ per person for balcony. I never saw any litter the buffett was very clean and the staff were vigilant cleaning hands. They all were very polite, considering we were a boat full of rednecks. Lots of debauchary. The rooms were cleaned 2 or 3 times a day. Everything looked new and bright. Auditoriums and french cuisine halls at the ends of the ship were outstanding roomy and well decorated. Bar service is fast and friendly. Im an early morning riser so i noticed they get busy painting and cleaning the ship when everyone is asleep. Casinos and gift shops were not for me but the door card / credit card was convienient. Many had to get their dor card replaced at the start of the trip. Was taken care of quickly. I almost was left behind in cozumel. Staff were still polite, i was shocked! Totally worth it if you can afford Norwegian.

It was a great ship. Staff was amazing, food was delicious, some thing different every night to eat. Not as entertaining like it's other competitors, but none the less a fun cruise ship to cruise on. From crew to passengers warm and friendly vibes.

Ship was somewhat difficult to get around. Food was just average even for cruise ship food. Best thing I found were sandwiches and some chowder one night. Found two friendly servers that we really enjoyed. Ports were changed due to November hurricane, and we didn't get to visit their private island as the waves were too choppy to tender us in. Really could care less about Jamaica. Will stick to the line I know is better.

First Cruise boat and i loved the hospitality, friendly ppl, and all the events.

OMG!!!!! Best Cruise line EVER and some of the best employees as well.

Buffet line food was cold, when it should've been hot. Mixed drinks didn't seem to have a lot of liquor in them, a few I had were stiff, but for all the drinking we did no one got drunk.
Loved the dining rooms, but they were pretty slow, took about an hour & a half to eat dinner. Food was VERY GOOD. I'd give the dining room 4+stars. It was great to go to dinner in my beach attire, instead of getting dressed up.

Excellent food and drinks served, extremely hygienic rooms and very nice weather of the ship, which prevents from giving 5 stars is the fact that it did not stop on the private island during the weather cruise as it was sunny during the day and day. Following the voyage, no option was given to refund that day or to increase the cruise by one day for this experience.

Excellence cruise..most definitely will cruise with NCL again...

Large, modern ship. Lots of ship activities. Performances, rope park, climbing wall. Ponds, skis. recommended.

Extraordinary cruise on the Norwegian Escape from New York City to Bermuda. The ship is beautiful, with so many things to do. Entertainment was top notch and plentiful. I stayed in the Haven and the service couldn't have been better. It was so nice to enjoy the restaurants, bars and entertainment of the larger ship and then be able to slip back into the quiet, relaxing confines of the Haven.

Hidden charges and deceiving pricing. Make sure to find out exactly how much you'll end up paying before going on a cruise with them

Best cruise line out there get the drink package it's worth it

I've been on three cruises with this cruise line and it keeps getting better

The ship (Escape) was immaculate and the staff were all very friendly and helpful. If I take another cruise, I will certainly choose Norwegian again.
