Casa de Tereza is amazing! From the warm and friendly service, with a very tasty and fragrant shrimp stew to the Chapada Diamantina specialty coffee shop. All in an environment decorated with authenticity and care in every detail. I will be returning many times!

Incredible place, even more incredible food ... I only evaluate places that I really love! I ate meat (in a wonderful spot!), And I ate shrimp stew with a lot of flavor and considerable quantity. In addition, Teresa Paim and her waiters are very kind and careful. We celebrated the birthday of a friend who was in town, and they offered a symbolic cake to celebrate. Would go back a thousand times.
The ambiance is very cozy but does not make up for the value of the dishes. We ordered a shrimp moqueca for 2 which was good and an individual lamb dish that was not. The drinks are also expensive and left to be desired. The service was excellent.

On 06/24/1919, my companion and I went to dinner. We ordered a Muqueca de Aratu. The rice came cold and hard and the puff too salty. We complain. They made another pyramid. I could not eat. We leave with the certainty of not going back and nor indicating to anyone.

We were not informed at the time of booking that they did not have a table that fit all the guests ... that left the disappointed people and disrupted our celebration.

It was an indication of the travel guide who had painted the restaurant as the "best Bahian food restaurant in town". Finger wrong.
Initially I must address the good point, the house, very beautiful environment, spectacular to be honest, unprecedented decoration, but was not enough to hide the errors.
The service was poor to be mild, unprepared waiters who besides forgetting one of the orders could not explain the content of the dishes, something unacceptable for a restaurant that offers dishes for 300 reais. Finally, we had to deal with the bad mood of the lady who served us, though she had a scowl and unreceptive face, as well as dryness. There are rare times when I asked to withdraw the service fee, as I value the service of the employees of the places I go to, but this time there was no way, because I was very poorly attended, did not feel the "Bahian receptivity" in the house, being very best served in stalls on the street.
Which brings us to the food, we ordered shrimp based dishes, a shrimp noodle and a risotto of the same type. We entered 23:30 we were well catered for, after dishes served. The service changed because the same closes at 24:00. In the end we were poorly attended. For a high priced $$$$ restaurant lacked better service and better food preparation. Other than that the bathroom was really dirty. Would not recommend!
