Wow, how happy I was to know this place and eat this wonderful food. Beautiful environment well decorated, pleasant to be and stay. I felt very well received, service note 10, food shows. Loved it. I want to go back soon. I recommend everyone to read this post the visit, and comes the Chef's moqueca, very tasty.

Casa de Tereza is amazing! From the warm and friendly service, with a very tasty and fragrant shrimp stew to the Chapada Diamantina specialty coffee shop. All in an environment decorated with authenticity and care in every detail. I will be returning many times!

Incredible place, even more incredible food ... I only evaluate places that I really love! I ate meat (in a wonderful spot!), And I ate shrimp stew with a lot of flavor and considerable quantity. In addition, Teresa Paim and her waiters are very kind and careful. We celebrated the birthday of a friend who was in town, and they offered a symbolic cake to celebrate. Would go back a thousand times.

The ambiance is very cozy but does not make up for the value of the dishes. We ordered a shrimp moqueca for 2 which was good and an individual lamb dish that was not. The drinks are also expensive and left to be desired. The service was excellent.

On 06/24/1919, my companion and I went to dinner. We ordered a Muqueca de Aratu. The rice came cold and hard and the puff too salty. We complain. They made another pyramid. I could not eat. We leave with the certainty of not going back and nor indicating to anyone.

Tereza was a sweetheart welcoming us. The dishes are impeccable with a unique flavor. I indicate the entrance of bread with sausage and caramelized onion. The main courses that my group ate were the lamb shank, oxtail and goat steak. It was a great experience.

Excellent service and very tasty dishes, however we made a reservation for the family and for being 20 people put us on separate tables ... We were not informed at the time of booking that they did not have a table that fit all the guests ... that left the disappointed people and disrupted our celebration.

Sensational.

Sensational.

A great opportunity to taste typical Bahian cuisine. More than a restaurant, this house provides customers with immersion in the palate of Bahia, we were three and ate a dish of good memory (plus one for the collection) and a muqueca. Both delicious and well served.

The drinks are also a separate chapter, regional fairs and copyright combinations that challenge our taste.

The price is right and the steps serve up to three people, depending on hunger.

The price is right and the plates attend til three people, depending on hunger.

It was an indication of the travel guide who had painted the restaurant as the "best Bahian food restaurant in town". Finger wrong.
Initially I must address the good point, the house, very beautiful environment, spectacular to be honest, unprecedented decoration, but was not enough to hide the errors.
The service was poor to be mild, unprepared waiters who besides forgetting one of the orders could not explain the content of the dishes, something unacceptable for a restaurant that offers dishes for 300 reais. Finally, we had to deal with the bad mood of the lady who served us, though she had a scowl and unreceptive face, as well as dryness. There are rare times when I asked to withdraw the service fee, as I value the service of the employees of the places I go to, but this time there was no way, because I was very poorly attended, did not feel the "Bahian receptivity" in the house, being very best served in stalls on the street.
Which brings us to the food, we ordered shrimp based dishes, a shrimp noodle and a risotto of the same type. The risotto was at least forgettable, with a sweet touch, probably coming from the coconut that made him sick. But the pasta was literally unpalatable to the palate, first not being told that it was red sauce, and otherwise, its sauce was extremely sweet, it seemed grotesque kitchen mistake that probably
He had put too much sugar on the plate and sent it to the table. I literally left the plate there and had to leave with a little hunger and nausea.
Finally, the price. We feel that the restaurant is sold as upscale, so I was prepared to pay a price commensurate with that and for equally good food, which did not happen. For the food and service there, never, I repeat, would never be worth the price, literally outrage.
I conclude, a beautiful restaurant, with poor service, poorly prepared food and at an expensive price for the experience I had. I set expectations for the story, which were overwhelmed by what was presented. I've eaten and been better served in smaller, less sophisticated places.

We feel free to enjoy the dishes! Exotic atmosphere, food with unusual flavors! Loved the prawns! The tapioca pudding with sparkling wine is to turn a blind eye! Here is to taste the menu. We love it!

We entered 23:30 we were well catered for, after dishes served. The service changed because the same closes at 24:00. In the end we were poorly attended. For a high priced $$$$ restaurant lacked better service and better food preparation. Other than that the bathroom was really dirty. Would not recommend!

It was me and my wife. Great food. Kind and correct service. Pleasant and cozy environment, showing various nuances of the Bahian soul. Good options for those who want to know and those who know, Bahian food with a light, hot footprint (spicy if you want) and several flavors to choose from. The bar is well served, with a variety of drinks and drinks. tasty desserts with typical flavors from the regions of Bahia. Tereza Paim, the owner, is attentive and attentive to the preparation of the dishes and the importance of food in Bahian gastronomy. Try to know the concepts and objectives that move the restaurant's existence. The price is differentiated, it is in the range of EXPENSIVE. You can't go every day or every week, unless you're rich, or good at saving. Make a reservation: there is often a queue. I used public transport. There is no easy parking nearby, sometimes.

Overpriced and overvalued place. We ordered three dishes, and the best was the farofa. That says everything. Only the bolinhos were good. It is expected from a restaurant in this category and this price a superior meal, and not mediocre and tasteless dishes.

Excellent restaurant. The food has a special taste, from the couvert bread to the crumbs on the table as an option. Everything is just wonderful. Cozy place, the piano music, the service, well worth it. The price is a bit salty, but consider saving on something else to get to know the place.

Repeating the experience, I renewed my visit. A place always cozy. I would like more space between the tables, I like the smell of cinnamon in the bathroom although it is considered muffled. Well, the important thing is the food that appeals to everyone. I liked the octopus triology watered with herbal olive oil (the option of lobster or octopus is on the menu, I do not know if I was not lucky, as of the previous time, I did not have the lobster again), Fish (golden), crab that stole the scene by the taste and only 03 prawns ... Yes, only 03 prawns. Eat well with the accompaniment of coconut risotto. It satisfies and makes you want to return to another new experience. Regarding the value fits in the pocket. It can also hurt in the pocket. But I recommend it to anyone who can try it. Be allowed. The experience is at least de-li-ci-o- $ a! Lol
