Exceptional cuisine and the decor is wonderful. The dishes are light, natural and tasty. Prices are fair!
Divine food and fast service during the week. Air conditioning doesn't freeze well.
The location is pleasant. The food was good. But quantity for price is a steal. That was the feeling. We ordered a mixed moqueca and 8 prawns and 4 pieces of low quality fish came. No steaks. Small pieces of fish that fit in a child's hand. Absurd! The rice, also in miserable quantities, came raw. Just kidding! Restaurant that does not know how to cook rice ... without comment. We ordered a starter sausage that describes 300 grams on the menu. Not even close. As for moqueca they have the face of talking about 750g of protein. As I said, 8 medium prawns and 4 pieces of fish are not even close to 300 grams. A real robbery. My account was 290 reais. With 4 beers and Hot. Lots of propaganda and propaganda for miserability. If you want to be robbed, go there. Funny that two years ago we were there and the food was plentiful. From what I see in the current comments, you are being deceived. A feather!
Speechless. Beautiful restaurant, delicious food with unique touch.
I got the mocqueca de peixe and it catapulted me out of this world! Included was fish, octopus, oysters, and plantains! (I was really surprised that I couldn't find much plantains in Brazil, but was lucky to find them here.) The base tasted of rich, fresh coconut. The sides of mashed pumpkin and yucca were fantastic!
An excellent experience with great food, a beautiful and clean environment and Tereza who is the friendliness and competence in person !!!
Super recommended for anyone going to Salvador ...
Very show attendance. Moqueca to die for. And the rose wines very much in mind. Loved it!
Great service, exquisite cuisine, pleasant atmosphere!
Very good. Beautiful place and very good food. But the price is very salty, but it is worth it if the idea is to enjoy a more refined local gastronomy.
Great ambiance and spectacular food! Well worth the visit and sip the starters and the moqueca.
Unmissable! If you are in Salvador you have to go to the Casa de Tereza restaurant, or you will not have gone to Bahia ...
Delicious food, really great servers. My service was a bit slow, but didn't take away from the experience. If you're in Salvador I definitely suggest it!
Super nice atmosphere. Extremely helpful and polite staff. Amazing food. It is worth visiting the restaurant in Salvador.
Good food, but doesn't justify the price. Good just to know.
Without a doubt the best moqueca I've ever eaten in Salvador! Unmatched service and wonderful taste, everything.
Great ambiance and kitchen, but the service can improve. The hostess is great, but waiters sin for lack of friendliness and flexibility. The argument that "the chef does not allow" causes an automatic dislike.
We ate the chef's moqueca, at the suggestion of the house attendant, we liked the fish was tasteless and could be another. A yellow hake would be perfect ....
A great atmosphere, great food, reasonable price-performance ratio and still had our stay a taste. About our hotel we had reserved two seats in this great restaurant. A driver of the hotel took us there and told the staff that he would pick us up again at a certain time. But we finished the meal 45 minutes earlier. Our glasses were still at least half full. Then came the nice waiter, who previously spoke a few words of English, with a cell phone and asked - as far as we understood - for the number of our taxi driver, so that he could pick us up rather. We only had the hotel number and asked him to call there. After a short time he asked us to come along. We rushed down our drinks. Unfortunately, a strange taxi was at the door. We did not get in and waited 30 minutes in the reception area until our driver arrived. From then on, the waiter, who had not called us at the hotel, spoke a word of English and disappeared. Maybe everything was just a misunderstanding. But it remains a taste. Otherwise, the restaurant was great.
Great atmosphere, well trained staff, very good food, I ate a fish in shrimp sauce and what I liked the most was the taste of coconut rice that few restaurants in Bahia offer, congratulations.
Very good, first class food, friendly service. Highly recommend.
Excellent service. Special seasoning. It's really worth it!
Excellent good, decoration, service, English menu available. A nice experience!
This restaurant is an amazing place!
Farofa of oil palm, farofa of garlic, vinaigrette and pepper are already at your disposal as soon as you arrive, to accompany whatever your dish.
If you are visiting Bahia and looking for a restaurant to remember with your hand at heart, this is the place. If you live in Bahia and want to eat well, this is the place too!
The restaurant has several atmospheres, each consecrating a different Bahian artist, and in all of them it is possible to notice the richness of the Bahian culture.
The desserts are also a delight, but should not be the main reason for your visit.
The restaurant is not cheap, it's a place to go on a special occasion.
In addition to all the environments, the restaurant still has a little shop that is a cutie that sells handicrafts, and some food / drinks from the restaurant (the chef's farofas, for example, are 7 types, and I took one home).
What a lovely dining experience! From the moment we walked in, there was a beautiful pianist charming diners with his keys. Service is attentive, friendly and can accomodate English. Although it s not my favourite cuisine, the food was fresh, generous portions and extremely filling. The restaurant has a homely feel with a small gift shop attached. The best part is that this is a family owned business and the owner/chef came out to say hello, check on the food and pose for a couple of photos
Local recommended by our guide as "cute and that you eat well" I found it beautiful outside and inside, cozy and special.
The staff who welcomed us were very polite and precise. They brought us the ITALIAN menu a real rarity for Brazil. Some dishes recommended by the waitress were divine. The puree looked like a great musse. The right times for all dishes and all excellent. My best dinner in Salvador de Bahia.
Bahian food in a place full of history and personality. The price is salty, but the taste is unforgettable.
Rustic and charming at the same time. Excellent service. Good food. Fair price for what it offers. I recommend.
Food very good, but poor service, have to beg the waiter to take orders from things
Very cozy place, waiters serve very promptly. Wonderful food!
Good hotel, excellent location, swimming pool with beautiful sea views, large room, great shower, good breakfast. But it has flaws: rooms with communication with others (noise from other guests), and does not have Wi-Fi.
Great place, great food, alternative audience, good music, excellent service.
First class service. Nice atmosphere and great food.
Certainly one of the best restaurants in the Bahian capital.
Several choices of moqueca, starters with typical Bahian delicacies and also good meat dishes, with the typical Bahia flavor, but all without exaggeration, even my wife who hates my coriander dishes, ate and liked it.
Booking is not critical, but on busy days it can be interesting.
The ambience and decor are impeccable, the service the same.
Only negative I found: the cover charge (R $ 7,00 per person) of the pianist, excellent by the way, but does not warn the entrance.
PS: be sure to taste the delicious palm oil crumbs.
Rustic atmosphere, carefully decorated with a lot of art that reminds us of our culture. Impeccable service and the best of Bahian cuisine. At the exit, there is still a small shop where we can buy some wonderful More
The farofa with garlic and the palm oil are wonderful! Divine shrimp dumpling and steak! Wonderful food and service note 10!
Excellent ambience and easy access location. Very good service. The waiters are very kind and Jefferson is a show apart. The food, however, somewhat disappointed. I ordered a shrimp moqueca with calamari and fish. I found no salt, no taste and I almost did not taste the palm oil. What's left we take home and we need to improve, redo. Anyway, I found a good restaurant, but for tourists who eat moqueca with tomato sauce. For Bahians, I do not recommend it.
The best of Salvador !!!!! Super nice atmosphere very well decorated, full of culture and excellent gastronomy !!!
A super restaurant in Salvador. It is in the bar area. I loved the typical atmosphere of the region, the service and of course the food. For those with a shellfish allergy, like me, ask for the Octopus moqueca option; is great.
Cozy place, I went in search of the dish of the good memory that by the way is a delight ....
I tried 3 different types of moqueca ... All sensational ...
At first I had some restriction due to location, but went and was surprised!
The decoration is a very tasteful point.
The service surprised, super attentive waiter!
The food is a chapter apart, delicious! Tasty entrees, the banana stew of the earth was divine!
Congratulations to the boss!
Beautifully decorated environment, great food. And all the attendants are friendly, attentive, make suggestions for drinks and dishes. I intend to go back.
Customized and air-conditioned environment, with regional menu. Good service, but the prices are a little 'salty' - juice 18 reais ... But I recommend it!
Environment themed, with store, bar and restaurant typical of Bahia. Delicious food and good service!
Excellent attention, very nice place and very good food !! Highly recommended !!!
Delicious food and top notch service! Super recommend ...
I was expecting to find one of the best and, most important, FRESH Bahia food restaurant while instead we ended with a big disappointment.
It was served the spice tray with two not-so-fresh farofa cans (it was clearly cooked weeks ago and still resting inside those cans) and stale condiments and spices not very tasty as well.
We had then a small size moqueca with catch-me-if-you-can shrimps and few pieces of a probably frozen fish.
The sides were just OK and rice, again, was probably not fresh and small portion as well.
The drinks were average, (we had cocktails, caipirinhas and juices) while the only remarkable thing of this disappointing experience was a very friendly and attentive service.
The place is definitely worth to visit for a beer and a couple of nice pictures but not to get a great food experience. We will not come here again.
Nice restaurant with good food .. I think the values are too high.
Moqueca Ana Bueno is a great option for typical food.
So delicious with an absolutely beautiful setting and live piano music playing on a Friday night. From the caipirinhas to the moqueca, everything was soo yummy I want to go back again!
The food and drinks are incredible, however, the service is always bad. The waiters are slow and often don't seem to see you.
Veryoo boooom.
They serve excellent Shrimp Bobo.
Grade 10.
One of the best places in Salvador to eat typical Vahian food.
Sensational. There's a beef jerky called nigga that's great!
Colorful and beautiful like traditional Bahian cuisine. But very contemporary
Beautiful environment, cozy, great food, fast service and fair price.
Very good food .... Impeccable service .... Who recommended it was the Ibis
Great food. Cozy environment! Do not stop going in the shop!
Excellent service and wonderful cuisine. Pleasant atmosphere, with the face of Bahia, makes reference to regional culture.
Great food. Exquisite location ... old house and still with kind, pleasant service and simply note 10.
