Stoughton Country Club Review

Went for a company outing, all staff were nice, food was great, facilities were clean

Toured for a wedding. The grounds and beautiful and the bar and rooms inside are very spacious!

Suler friendly, good prices, immaculate course. Very good carts.

We go here for a work party every year. The space is a bit small, but they make it nice. The bar has decent service but it would be nice if they had a few other popular beer choices. Every year the food is so incredibly dry and overcooked that I dread the meal. The salad is usually my favorite part and it was again this year. Oh well. It is what it is.

We are so glad that we selected the Stoughton Country Club for our wedding ceremony and reception! Everything was so wonderful, from start to finish.

The people: Kelly, the event coordinator, was not only extremely helpful, organized, and on top of every last detail, but is also just a wonderful woman who I am glad could be a part of our day! She clearly loves her job and I never once felt like just another bride, even though we were already her third wedding that month. It felt like our wedding was as special to her as it is to us. Tim, bar manager, is there during weddings and closes out the night. He also went above and beyond to take care of us and our guests.



The food: HOLY SMOKES! I don t think a single plate went unfinished. We were blown away at our tasting, but I was curious if they would be able to duplicate that high of quality when producing dinner for nearly 100 people at once. They did! Everything came out efficiently, hot, and delicious. We served the tortellini alfredo, the chicken dutchesse, and prime rib. I also appreciate that they made sure our head table was served first so that we got plenty of time to finish our meal before we got pulled away by all the glass clinking and congratulations!

The value: Given how wonderful everything was, we got the value of a lifetime! There were also other perks thrown in, such as a social membership for the two of us and a free round of golf that morning.

Highly recommend! I've booked with Stoughton Country Club for numerous corporate events over the past year, and can't say enough good things about their facility, customer service, event coordination, food, flexibility - the list goes on! They're an absolute delight to work with and take all the stress out of coordinating big events.

We attended a wedding here and it was a perfect venue and very well done. I recommend this place to anyone that needs a wedding reception place.

I attended a wedding reception here this past weekend. It was clean and spacious. The view of the lake is beautiful from the dining area. (Although it was snowy, it was still romantic and amazing). The staff was helpful and friendly. The bathroom was large and very clean.

We had our wedding ceremony and reception at the Stoughton Country Club last year and we could not have picked a better venue! The groom and groomsmen were able to go golfing in the morning. The locker rooms are a nice private space to prep and change for the wedding. The ceremony by the water was beautiful! It was amazing being able to drive off on a golf cart after family photos for beautiful photos of the two of us and for some time away from everyone. The dining room overlooks the beautiful water and the food was amazing! I still get complements about the food. There was a great space for the photo booth we rented, space for people to talk away from the dance floor and a good size dance floor next to the large bar. The photos on the website for weddings do not do the venue justice. I highly recommend!

Seriously we cannot say enough great things about this venue. We held our rehearsal dinner downstairs at the Country Club ... which was ideal for us we were able to practice our wedding ceremony outside and then come right inside & dinner was waiting buffet style for us inside (which they customized to what specific meals we wanted). We then had our wedding ceremony and reception the following day. Let me start out by saying the golf course itself is BEAUTIFUL....it sits right on the lake. We held our ceremony outback on the lawn facing the lake......it was stunning. People said it was the "most beautiful ceremony they've seen". The golf course made for some great pictures. The cocktail hour & reception were immediately afterwards. Indoors is just as beautiful as outside. The room where dinner was held has windows lining the entire wall facing the lake, watching the sunset was an extra special touch on the night. There's a dance area & bar area attached to the same room as dinner was held, it's an open floor plan which was IDEAL for our reception. There's also an "extra" room right off the bar area where we were able to have our photo booth and a slide show playing all night. Everything was flawless. The staff was phenomenal. Kelly, the event coordinator went ABOVE and beyond to make the day absolutely perfect....she was so excited for us & so helpful for anything we needed. The bartenders were very attentive. There was never an empty drink. The dinner was DELICIOUS. We offered sirloin, chicken cordon bleu & tortellini alfredo. Every single plate was empty....people could not stop raving about how good the food was. Stoughton Country Club is the best!
