They helped me purchase my first car! I've been looking for a Honda Accord 2017 for a while now and I haven't been lucky and just never met my expectations. So I reached out to Honda Carter and asked if they could notify me if they receive an Accord that has no previous accidents, low mileage and in automatic transmission. They got back to me later that same day and mentioned an accord literally just got traded in! I checked it out the following day and test drove it. I knew it was the car I wanted, the color silver was my first choice, no accidents and only had 19k mileage in it! I ended up purchasing it and picking it up the following day. They made the whole process smooth, painless and made the buyer feel special. All their staff was very welcoming and helpful until the end. I would definitely recommend them!

I recently purchased a 2019 Honda Odyssey. It was a wonderful shopping experience . The test drive and subsequent purchase was smooth and efficient. Bob Louie is highly knowledgeable, pays attention to detail, and is a non-pressure sales professional. He took the time to familiarize me with all of the operational details of the car and provided thorough and in depth answers to my specific questions. This place went above and beyond after a miscommunication. Although I was very flustered at the time, they treated me with care and respect. I honestly didn't even know how to react, I've never been treated that well in a situation like that. Also the receptionist was very warm and friendly. They have a lifetime customer in me. Worst experience ever in my life.

Worst experience ever in my life.
Called them about an used vehicle and made them offer because I live far away from Vancouver. Associate told me, will talk to manager and would get back to me about my offer , took my contact info. I did not get any answer for a week. I called again, talked to another associate, explained about previous conversation. Associate assured me that they will look into that and get back to me in few days. But then even after 3 weeks I never got any answer from the dealer.

After dealing with other Honda dealers who were quite rude and I was not happy with their services, I met Alan Li at Carter Honda because I inquired about a 2019 Honda Clarity. Alan was very straight forward with all of the information I needed to make a decision and helped me order a Clarity and kept me updated every step of my purchase. Any time I needed something, Alan was very quick to pay attention to all of my questions and concerns and really listened to me. When the car arrived, he did an excellent job of showing me and teaching me all of the new technology. Thank you Alan.

We then went in to appraise the trade in. Very comfortable experience. The whole process took less than 2 hours from first contact to agreeing to everything. Honda was nearby, we went in and asked for help. 2 workers brought out a drill and was able to get the plates changed for us. Just wanted to say a big THANK YOU to the staff at Carter Honda! I purchased my first vehicle from them recently and wanted to share my appreciation and thankfulness towards them for the superb level of professionalism and customer service they provided throughout the process of purchasing my 2015 Honda Civic.

Of special note, I'd like to extend my thanks and gratitude towards Aryan A. from the sales staff; he was exceptionally knowledgeable and patient while helping me through the process of selecting a vehicle and did not pressure or try to up-sell me a vehicle I did not require. I'd highly recommend him to everyone looking to purchase a vehicle from Carter Honda.

In addition, I'd also like to thank Sabrina, Kim, and Sarah at Carter Honda. Complementing Aryan, they made sure the entire sale process, and the following paperwork and insurance procedures were extremely quick and smooth for me. All the while, providing me with all the information I required to make a well informed decision and complete the purchase of my new bae. Without them, and the help they provided me, I would not be experiencing and enjoying my brand new ride, nor would I have been able to purchase the vehicle I needed.

We are an elderly couple, who lived in Canada for ...

We are an elderly couple, who lived in Canada for ~ 48 years... we owned ~ 4 x used vehicles during this time, and purchased 8 x new vehicles, various makes (the trucks have been north American...) and the Honda we got is # 4 for us ! Due to the fact, of our years of enjoyment of driving a luxurious new car with all the safety features, being somewhat limited... we decided to get a new vehicle, or low mileage pre-owned one, an made some inquiries for it through friends and also visiting some dealerships etc. We then got a call from Carter Honda, on Friday, may 19th... and they just had a 2 year old Honda with low mileage, in mint condition available... and went to Vancouver the next morning to see it... We were then met by the director of the sales, Ariel, who had been contacted by Priscilla, and it truly was a "Royal treatment" ! (he also sacrified some of his long weekend to make sure were we well taken care of !) We were then introduced to Bob, who appeared to know just about everything about everything and helped us out making a decision !!! also met Ruba, who handled all the details of the financing and the warranty related subjects etc. after long discussions, we decided to opt out for new one, instead of the pre-owned one, mainly due to the more favorable financing terms... and went through all the details... we also decided to have some extra protection, such as undercoating and the paint protection added to the deal... And I must say, there just is no words to describe this experience !!! I really can't say and praise enough the friendliness, politeness, knowledge and professionalism in this Dealership !!! All of the people were just outstanding an truly went out of their way, to help and serve us to get a vehicle we would be happy to own !!! They also had an insurance agent Jamil, available to handle the registration and insurance etc. And quite honestly, I have never experienced this level of service and commitment ever, in my life !!! To whom it may concern, being a true "Honda lover", and having an opportunity to visit Japan several times in the past, in my opinion, Honda really is the only choice to me ! And, without the doubt, in my honest opinion, the Carter Honda truly is the flagship and an example for any Honda dealerships in Canada !!! (talking about happy customers...) yours truly

We bought our vehicle at the Carter Honda Burrard location.
We are so happy with Sami O. who helped us find the car based in our needs.
We live in Burnaby and went to visit other car dealers but we are so much pleased with our overall experience here and all the staff.

Sami O. as a sales consultant is very professional, very informative, takes his time with every bit of information he gives and not pushy type of guy. Sami doesn't make us feel pressured in making our decision in getting our vehicle.

I would still come back to this location if I had to purchase another car in the future.
I would definitely recommend and give 5 star credit to the people who works here.
We are a happy customer and this is our way of appreciating and sharing our excellent experience with Carter Honda Vancouver.

Alan made every possible effort to answer my questions and help me find the right vehicle. He took me on a 20 min test drive around town and kindly guided me through the process. I have my car serviced at Carter Honda. I bought it in Richmond but started going to Carter for service as the service there is far superior. Aaron is unbelievable. My experience with him has been absolutely phenomenal. He has this customer service thing down to an art. I also had to deal with sales to buy out my lease (refused to deal with Richmond Honda) - and Sabrina was also SO great. So friendly, so efficient. I am super impressed with Carter Honda and I will be buying my next vehicle from them.

We purchased our first Car, a Red Honda Civic 2020 from Carter Honda on 2nd November 2020.
We found everyone at Carter Honda quite warm and friendly, specially Kevin, the sales person, who worked hard to help us get the best deal. Since, we were coming all the way from Abbotsford to purchase the vehicle, and were arriving at the store around the store closing time, Kevin and his team made sure that all the documents were ready on time. We also appreciate that all staff followed COVID-19 related protocols like wearing mask and providing santizer.

My husband Vipin and I strongly recommend Kevin and Carter Honda (for hassle free services) at Burrard to anyone looking forward to buy a vehicle. Our best wishes to Kevin and his team.

At the dealership, it was nice to see that they were practicing social distancing and had hand sanitizers everywhere. I found Carter Honda had the best price in BC. I am very happy with the excellent motorcycle service I received at Carter Honda. To start with, I am a woman and an inexperienced rider. Simply put, it would be very easy for a mechanic shop to take advantage of me. Thank goodness Carter Honda gives old-fashioned, good quality customer service and is fair about their recommendations and pricing.
I drive a Honda CBR125: basically the smallest cc bike that is still street legal. And I love it. But I was noticing some performance issues - at first I wrote it off as bad riding on my part, but then the fuel injection failed. So I took it in to Carter and the guys there completely took care of me. They test-rode it, figured out was wrong, and were very honest with me. The service manager James was very clear about everything and explained things in terms I could understand, even physically showing me each problem on the bike and going through the estimate step by step. He told me which repairs were critical and which were more optional, and what the benefits would be of getting the work done. Yes, I was pretty surprised by the amount of issues with the bike, and the amount it was going to cost me, but the guys at Carter did everything they could to keep the cost low, and even ended up coming in under budget. They also took care of other issues that they found with the bike as they were taking it apart and didn't charge me extra for those fixes - including rewiring my handlegrip heaters. They finished the job ahead of schedule, cleaned the bike from top to bottom, and gave me a courtesy call to let me know when everything was ready. When I went to pick up my bike it was waiting at the front of the shop, clean, fixed, and looking brand new. It also rode like a dream, way better than ever before. It turns out I am a decent rider and the issues were with the bike. I absolutely love my bike again, and even more than before. I will definitely be returning to Carter for regular service on my Honda.

You would think Honda Certified means that a used ...

You would think Honda Certified means that a used vehicle has actually been inspected? They sold us a vehicle with one wiper blade and the windshield washer spray not working (even after we filled it up because they didn't). If you can't find that on an inspection, what else did you miss?

They were super responsive before we made the purchase, but once they got our money they have been quite evasive.

Don't trust these guys.

All of the sales associates do their best to find you the right car but the sales rep Jason Lalli went above and beyond to find me the car that was in my budget as well as something I would like. My daughter bought her first car, a Civic LX, from Carter Honda in 2012, and after an accident last month that left that car irreparable, she decided to replace it with a 2014 Civic EX. I contacted my broker and was about to buy from him, but once again, Carter gave us an unbeatable price. This time around, I dealt with Walter Najarro. Unlike pressure-sales guys, I found Walter to be very sincere, even though he did call several times, knowing we were serious about buying. He bent over backwards to make the sale happen, and because of his perseverance and work ethic, it did! There were a couple of glitches along the way- the car was sold to someone else on Walter's day-off, and the other one ordered for us arrived a day late- but Walter got my daughter a demo car to drive in the meantime, so it was not a big issue. Carter went out of their way to help us and to keep us loyal customers. Thank you, Walter and Carter Honda!

We recently bought the 2016 Honda CRV demo model from Carter Honda. We dealt with Anna who made us feel comfortable as she wasn't too pushy with us.
Unfortunately, the moonroof on the CRV had a faulty motor and it was opening and closing by itself and not responding to the controls. Anna helped arrange for the service centre to look at the problem right away for us. It was in the shop for a week but works now. Hopefully there are no more problems.

Purchased a 2016 Honda Pilot Touring in June of 2016. The initial overall experience with the purchase was pleasant, although the sales associate did not seem to know much about the product. What he lacked in product knowledge, he made up in exception customer service.

The reason this is a one star rating is because of experiences with the service department of Carter Honda. In December of 2016, I had ordered accessories for this vehicle, but not all of them arrived on the install date, although I was assured that they were there. Also made this appointment to have them look at an issue with the second row captain's chair. The issue with the chair was that the seat backing was loose. Apparently this request was not entered into their system. To make a long story short, the service advisor was anything but helpful as he did not listen to me regarding the issue and also "promised" to get my missing item for the same day.

To make matter worse, when the vehicle was "ready" that day, they advised the missing accessory was not in stock and and they could not find anything wrong with the seat. Aside from the inconvenience of a return visit for a missing part, the bigger issue was that they tested the wrong area of the seat. This most likely would have been avoided if the service advisor actually listened to what I had to say instead of talking over me. They then had to re-assess the issue and further delay the delivery time of my vehicle. When I went to pick up my vehicle later that evening, they advised there was nothing wrong with the seat. I did not agree with that decision so decided to take it up with upper management. I also asked to be reimbursed for my wasted time on the matter with at least one return visit and was offered a discount on a future service. I told them I was not interested in a future service at this time as this experience has left little or not faith in this dealership's "service". I wanted reimbursement on items that were already purchased and not for a service that may or may not happen. This is pretty presumptuous on their part to expect an unhappy client to come back to them.

To this day, I have yet to receive an actual response with concrete information from the General Manager of Carter Honda regarding the status of the issue with the seat in my vehicle. The only responses that were provided was that he could not speak for Honda Canada about the seat issue and that he could not offer any type of reimbursement other than from future servicing of the vehicle. This was nearly two weeks ago.
The prudent thing to do would be to inform the client with some sort of timeline, even if there is nothing to report, at least by doing this, the client would not feel as if they are being ignored. Not even an apology was issued regarding this matter.

The Service Manager and General Manager have proved ti be very unhelpful and extremely disorganized. Neither one takes the time to read the emails that outline my concerns and when they called me to speak, I had to repeat the whole story to them once again. Neither one actually answers the questions posed to them, instead they choose to talk around the questions, address questions with questions and not provide actual answers.

For a company who claims to be "service" oriented, this could not be further from the truth. There are individuals at Carter Honda who do put the client first, but it is unfortunate that the individuals in charge do not act the same way. The message being conveyed by Carter Honda is that a client can come in and purchase a $50K+ vehicle and then get treated like trash. They have zero accountability for their errors. No matter the outcome for the issue with the vehicle seat, Carter Honda will have lost a customer in me.

Very happy with my experience dealing with Carter Honda. Appreciated the no-dicker policy with pricing, and got a great car at a good price. As with other dealerships, there is a fair bit of time trying to upsell you with extra coverages and options, but I also didn't feel pressured when I chose not to take them up on it. I would happily deal with Carter again.

I ve been getting my 2019 Honda Ridgeline serviced here since I first purchased it back in April 2018 and I have zero complaints about them. Service managers and other staff are polite and efficient. The costs are explained ahead of time so I m not surprised when I get the invoice. And since they re located so close to Granville Island, I just go there while I m waiting for my truck.

Conveniently located for those who live in City of Vancouver. Sales staff know their Honda's; which these days seem especially complicated with all the electronic options and aids. Andy went through each and every item. Overwhelming at first, but was patient in going through it all.

Pricing of new vehicles are competitive; and if you are serious on buying, they are serious on making a deal. Also got close to what I was expecting in my trade-in. Dealership may appear smaller than others, but they seem to have stock on hand.

Haven't been to their service and parts department yet. I will note that service is not located at this same Burrard location. Service is located at the Carter Motorsports just outside Granville Island.

My brand new '15 KTM 690 was in for 1st routine service, they damaged my ignition steering lock and basically blamed me for it ?! I dropped my bike off locked... picked it up took it home- ignition broken. Called them immediately. Cant get Aaron on the phone ever, he never responds to emails.
Basically- Go SOMEWHERE else. I don't know how they did this to my bike, because they have no explanation and took ZERO responsibility... now I'm forced to use my insurance to pay for it.

Bought my car online as I live in Radium Hot Springs. Online experience was good...I thought. When I got there there was a small issue with the car, no button on the end of the emergency brake, salesman said he would send it to me....good. But, as I was driving home I noticed a dent in the hood that was not mentioned, and I hadn't noticed. That will cost me some pretty serious money to fix. That was very disappointing as the rest of the experience was pretty good.
