Carolina restoration services Review

My husband and I loved our experience with the professional, punctual, and gracious team from Carolina Restoration Services. We had water damage, and were weary about having anyone in our house due to a family member with a severe illness. CRS helped us schedule around our loved one's doctor appointments. Their team was quick, amazingly professional and very quiet which is what our ill loved one needed. Highly recommended!

Carolina Restoration Service! Wow, wow, and more wow!!! I honestly cannot express what a relief, and totally removal of stress and anxiety that Carolina Restoration Services rendered to my family and I. It was and has been utterly blissful from start to finish with our home restoration.

We purchased an older home a little short of a year ago, which is our very own gem, old but timeless. Needless to say, a water leak in the master bath was the culprit that exposed every weakness within the flooring of the home. USAA, our Insurance Company, provided us with quality assurance, and professionalism when suggesting Carolina Restoration Services.

Keith Southern (Mitigation Manager) of Carolina Restoration was the first to shed light on our gloomy situation. He was professional, courteous and cared and listened to our issues and provided answers to all of our many questions. My wife and I explained that we felt the floor damage, was connected to our daughter being in leg braces for the previous 2 month! He understood our concern for getting the job done right, but expeditiously!! Keith took his time and explained every detail of the process to my wife and I and totally made us comfortable with the process. He represented a higher quality of service, and the service rendered was never lacking!

Keith did us a solid, and provided us, with whom I feel to be the epitome with what a Project Manager should be!! Mr. Eric Ambrose checked every check, dotted every dot, and crossed every T . He was very easy to approach and communicated effectively throughout the whole ordeal. He was available literally 24 hours of the day 7 days a week, answering all questions and correcting all if any deficiencies promptly. He is a very genuine person that listened to our needs and satisfied our wants! The wife and I are truly pleased, and because of Eric, we have decided not to sell our home, but cherish and relish in the newly surfaced beauty, created by Eric and his Trade Partners. I haven t experienced this level of professionalism, attentiveness, precision, and trust, in a very long time. He is a person that is overly accountable, and insist that others corresponding under and around him are alike also!! His Trade Partners, Plumber, General contractors, Cleaning Crew, furniture Movers and Demo guys, they all were superb and motivated to be professional.

The organization as a whole is absolutely wonderful! I m sure all of their employees are great, but if you are fortunate enough to get Eric, Keith, and their Trade Partners, all of your stress and worries about the future of your home or investment, if you see it that way, will vanish! We hold that much confidence in them. I have never witness employees within an establishment that valued the growth of a professional relationship into a professional friendship! My wife and I are looking forward to calling upon Carolina Restoration when we update our kitchen at the end of the year!

I had water damage in the kitchen due to a leaky dishwasher. Decided to go ahead and take the opportunity to remodel the kitchen and two bathrooms. Since Carolina Restoration was handling the insurance work, I hired them for the remodel. Daniel and his team did a fantastic job. They tore out the old, cracked tile in the kitchen, hall and bathrooms and installed vinyl plank. They put in new cabinets, an over-the-range microwave, a new bathtub upstairs, new vanities and mirrors in both bathrooms and hooked up my new dishwasher. They installed a beautiful granite countertop and gave all the rooms a fresh coat of paint. Everyone involved in the work went above and beyond to make sure I was satisfied. I've had a lot of work done on my house over the past decade and it seems I always have to complain to get things done right. Not so with Carolina Restoration. They always asked if I was happy with the work, each step along the way. If I wanted something changed, they took care of it, no questions asked. It may seem like a small thing, but throughout the project, they always made sure I had a temporary sink and at least one working bathroom available. Overall, a great experience.

After some damage from a shower water line leak, CRS was recommended by our insurance company. They responded immediately, and handled the drying out & repairs in a quick, professional and polite manner. Eliceo Villatoro scheduled and managed all repairs and he utilized excellent & versatile tradespeople. He carefully handled all tasks through completion, and was always easily available for questions or concerns. Keith Southern, Anthony Lynn and other Carolina Restoration Services all helped make a difficult time get resolved as painlessly as possible. Eliceo proved to be a superb project manager, and we would recommend him and CRS to everyone.

This was my first time in over 13 years as a homeowner where I needed to file a claim for repairs. I received their information from my insurance agent and I was pleased with the work and communication throughout. They finished on time and my kitchen looks great! Thanks again to Wes for keeping us on target and making this experience a breeze!

I had a water pipe burst a couple of months ago causing a lot of damage in the main bedroom of my condo. My experience working with Carolina Restoration Services was great from beginning to end. Everyone I dealt with was very kind and professional - Kim, Alex, Katie B., Eliceo, Charlie, Daniel, and Stephanie (hopefully I didn t forget anyone!). I especially appreciated how considerate Charlie and Daniel were, because I was working from home at the time of the repairs and they did their best to keep the noise level down as they completed their drywall work. The subcontractor who installed my carpeting was wonderful as well. I hope I never have to go through another water damage situation but, if I do, I will definitely work with Carolina Restoration Services again.

We had smoke damage from a mattress fire. This company estimator came out assesses the damage and we get a copy of the estimate. Within 2 days that employee found almost $5000 more damage without even revisiting our home. He added windows in closets, shower/tub in half bath, heater in room that didn t exist, cost for moving stove which just happened to be built-in, cleaning cabinet contents that didn t need or get cleaned and believe me the list goes on.
He double-dipped on several items one example is getting paid by the hour for cleaning and then adding/listing everything that was cleaned - resulting in double charges of THOUSANDS of dollars. If I questioned something in particular the charges mysteriously moved into some other charge.
I wouldn t recommend any of the contractors they used to perform the jobs. Several of them lied or couldn t remember what they had done or not done when I questioned what was listed as far as charges. The painter did more damage than was already there from the smoke. We had to redo everything he did and unfortunately once he painted over the popcorn ceiling material he got all over the walls it couldn t be removed.
Luckily we decided to do most of the reconstruction tasks ourselves. If we hadn t I m afraid our home would have been literally destroyed by their inferior workmanship.
I can see why homeowners insurance is so expensive when they allow themselves to be ripped off by reconstruction companies. Just keep in mind some of these estimators get paid commission so the more the estimate the more they pocket. Even though the insurance company is footing the bill please check over the estimate.

I can't say enough about my positive experience with Carolina Restoration Services. Water damage was brought to my attention by a contractor performing foundation work in my crawlspace and I filed an home owner's insurance claim. The source of the leak turned out to be a crack in the fiberglass shower unit. The damage was extensive and resulted in the entire bathroom being gutted down to the studs.

Carolina Restoration to the rescue! Everyone I interacted with from this company was courteous and professional! From Gabe, who came out to do the initial estimate, to Chris Whittington, my assigned project manager extraordinaire, and all of the contractors (Cam (plumber), Bob (framing and carpentry), Santos (paint & trim), Josh (shower install)), this job was handled professionally from start to finish.

Since the bathroom was gutted, I decided to pay for some upgrades out of pocket, so that I would have a final product that I was satisfied with. Carolina Restoration staff did a great job of explaining all charges for my out of pocket work as well as the labor guarantees.

This job took a few weeks to complete, but I couldn't be happier with the service or workmanship! The before and after pics speak for themselves! (my shower door installation is scheduled for next week) I HIGHLY recommend this company to anyone who is looking to remodel or clean up after an incident of water damage.

I came in to my master bedroom to hang up so things and when I stepped into the room my foot was covered with water. I looked and over half the room the carpet was wet. I turned back into my living room and the water was then coming into that room. My next step was to go to the main shut off valve to stop the flow of water. I then called my insurance agent who in turn gave me the number to call to get some help. Well I was so glad when I called them and they said they were on their way. Carolina Restoration came in to my disaster and immediately started cleaning up everything. I could not have ask for anyone to move as quickly as they did. They had gotten up all of the flooring that could not be replaced and removed it from my house and then started moving forward with getting everything dried out. Since the work that required the clean up was in my master bath. I was able to get the bath updated from a garden tub to a stand up shower. During the process they came in got their portion of the job done and then next group came. It was like a streamline process. The Supervisor that I worked with I could not have been happier with. He provided updates on what was being done and when things would be finished up. I hope I never have a problem like this again, but if I do I will be calling Carolina Restoration to come and help with the clean up and repairs.

Carolina Restoration did a fantastic job ushering us through a water damage situation. They worked fantastically with our insurance company! Chris Flantos was our tour guide through the process and did a FANTASTIC job! They brought in a great materials vendor so we could choose the floor we wanted within the claim budget. And when was time to get the work done, it was like clockwork. We knew what was going to happen each day and it DID! The work was completed on time and our new floors look AMAZING!!! Thank you to Chris and Carolina Restoration for doing such a great job!!!
