Man this place was one of my favorites. The staff was amazing, the food was delicious. The carnitas tacos were huge. Beautiful location right by the water.do yourself a favor and get the carnitas fries. There are plenty of places to sit and even a Cornhole game set up for people.

Super organized. People there to tell you where to go, which line to get in. There was plenty of seating along the Embarcadero. Was able to get two yummy tacos; 1 fish, 1 carnitas and 2 amazing cocktails!! A wonderful spicy margarita and a mai tai to die for. I felt very safe (during the pandemic) and they text you when your food is ready.

The experience was ok, the waiter was very attentive and sweet. But the drink and food was not the best. I m not from the area (From the Bay Area) and I was craving a Bloody Mary and the one here was unfortunately and honestly the worst I ve had. The drink itself lacked in flavor, like something was missing. As for the fries, they were ok? The presentation of them was not so appealing and it was very salty. For being next to water, I thought this place would be very good but unfortunately was not for me.

Moved from North Park to the bay front, this hidden get e is now in the spotlight where it belongs. This is personally my second favorite carnitas in San Diego, following my own made at home.

Enjoy the atmosphere and some of the best pulled pork you will ever eat, while watching the boats and people.

Love this place. So nice to have an option close to the water. Great outdoor seating. Music seems to play a song and then off for several minutes and then play another song. I couldn't decide if this was good or bad. The music played was good, upbeat. My husband really liked it. However, when there wasn't music, you could hear all the water sounds and the birds, which was also nice. The food is very good. I had the carnitas breakfast quesadilla and my husband had the pork belly burrito. There isn't a lot of egg in either option. Mine was basically just a lot of carnitas, but oh, so good! The salsa is nice and spicy. I ordered a side of guac for dipping and we both got bloody mary's. The bloody mary's look watery, but don't be fooled, they have great flavor and a nice kick! This place is very affordable too! Overall great place to eat with some marina vibes!

CSS is in a prime location right on the Broadway Pier waterfront between the USS Midway museum and the old sailing ship museum.

They have a nice outdoor full bar and on the other side outdoor tables and bean bag games for kids(very family/tourist friendly).

I had the Caesar salad with mahi added which was filling with the Mac and cheese.

Service was excellent considering the crowd. Manager Jason is very cool, friendly and things were running very smoothly.

Food, fun and great location...can't beat it.

We were dropping our daughter off at the airport and needed something relatively quick because we had ran out of time, and something better than airport food. Most of the items we ordered were awesome, from the Carnitas and Fries, to the Swine Club sandwich. We ordered the "SHACK CHICHARRONS", and they gave us pork rhinds that probably came out of a chip bag, and they were stale to top it off. So overall our experience here was awesome, except for the $6 shack chicharrons. I recommend you stay away from those. The outdoor location, with an outdoor bar area and heaters was pretty cool though. Would we come back? Maybe if there was nothing else to eat.

They completely lost our order. We waited for 45 minutes before finally asking the status of our food. It took another 15 minutes to figure out what was going on before we were served. The manager eventually comped our food, though.

Total tourist trap but centerally on Harbor when Broadway ends. Been here a few times and always have been happy with the quality of food and service. Great place to enjoy the late afternoon sitting outside or at the bar, views are awesome. If you can find street parking in the area that'd be a first to look, or there are pay lots by the Midway.

5 stars for location, quality of service and product. Not reflecting on the restaurant but the parking situation can definitely throw you off.

-Nice chill spot and the customer service is awesome. The food isn't all that great, in my opinion and it is pricey because of the location more than likely but the portion size is in comparison to the money also. The manage is awesome and he will come out and ask you if all is well. I have been there a few times when I visit San Diego and it is near the airport and a 3 bucks bus ride per se. Cheaper than uber/lyft. The location is well and you're seated outside.

Good place for a snack along the waterfront. Grilled fish tacos are good. One drawback is the LOUD music of the open air bar next to the order window - cant hear a damn thing the counter person is saying.

So happy to see something authentic spring up on San Diego's waterfront. The setting is spectacular if a little windy on occasion, food was original, interesting and quite good. Large variety of beer offerings with wine and mixed drinks available.

Good happy hour destination.

Great fish taco aside from serving mine in a tortilla when I asked for lettuce that is specifically on the menu as an option. Took almost 30 minutes to serve. Would have rated higher if not for these problems.

A very cozy stop on the Embarcadero boardwalk with an outside bar and friendly staff. For starters, we quenched our thirst with Cadillac Margaritas while munching on a delicious basket of stone ground chips and guac. The pork belly sliders were mouthwatering and full of flavor. The cauliflower tacos, splashed with just the right amount of chipotle crema and cabbage rounded out the meal.

Food was great, but eating area needed a little more shade. There are only a few shaded tables, and the rest of the eating area is park benches with short wire tables. There are trees, but it will be a few years before they're big enough to provide much shade.

You can either go to the window or a server can take your order at the table. The triple meat burger was good but one of the meats was pretty dry. Overall all good and it was right next to the water

The person very nice but it was a big setback for me I guess I'm not used to seeing a person of my caliber and their establishment expensive for what they're serving is taste okay but not for the price that you're they have listed

This is exactly the kind of place the embarcadero has been SCREAMING for over the past 20 years. Outside seating, full bar, great beers, and food so good it ought to be a war crime.

I have absolutely no idea how they got this done but I'm so happy they did.

Pretty long wait for my food and beer. However, both were ready and just sitting there for quite a while before the servers realized that i was sitting there waiting like they tell you to. My fries were cold and too crunchy (definitely overcooked), and the bottom burger bun was soaked through. Burger tasted fine but the soggy bun was pretty unappetizing. i had also asked for the aioli on the side, but that didn't happen, and was probably part of the reason the burger bun was soaked so badly. I am just visiting San Diego, but i will go elsewhere next time i'm here; the service was not up to par. It looks like a "quick bite" type of place but my visit was definitely not quick whatsoever.

Lovely little open air eatery. Waiting in line at the window had a waitress approach to mention you could sit and be served, which was very nice. There were heaters above and if you were still cold (as some other patrons were being evening and near the water) they even offered blankets. The food was in generous portions (those sides are the same size as the meals!) and all of it was very tasty. Many options available for food and I would definitely return!
