My carnitas taco tastes good but it was almost cold when I got it. Service is a little weird. There was no direction what window to order from. They need someone to bus the tables too. Atmosphere is pretty good though.

So my husband who is from SD always rants and raves by this place. After placing a delivery order however, I was really disappointed by the lack of flavor in the tacos. It was extremely greasy, like dripping oil everywhere. The guacamole and pico were virtually flavorless. Maybe it would have been better if we ate there at the restaurant so I could have added some salt or lime to it to enhance the flavors a bit. Overall though I dont think I would eat there again or recommend it as a must go to place.

I thought the Triple Threat Pork Sandwich was just okay ($9.75) but the Carnitas Queso Fries ($9) were awesome. A really big heaping portion of fries smothered in queso, carnitas, and salsa fresca. Perfect for sitting and enjoying the water view while munching.

It's a great view of the ocean and also have live band every time I visit. The guest area is not so bad enjoying a nice view of the people passing by for their daily walks. The boats there by the ashore are great for look while sipping down a cold soft punch.

Having come off the Starlight 2 hour cruise, my husband and I were hungry and wanted something within walking distance. The Snack Shack was right in front of us so we decided to try it. Not being big pork fans, we decided on the BLT and seasoned fries. While generous, the sandwich had a ton of bacon and even an additional slice of ham but it wasn't crispy. The fries weren't either. Good selection of local beers/IPAs and the bar was right there on the street!

It is a cute location. For some reason I like the original location better. The food was ok but not as inspired as when I went to North Park. We had a variety of things. Just a note since its by the water it gets CHILLY!!

Tuesday special was amazing! 3 tacos ant style $12! Sadly no beer fit the bill so I asked about coffee because I was freezing from our day cruise. Guy said "only black coffee". Stunned I thought he was kidding but said "you can get some across the street"! Turns out they just serve it black & you add cream & sugar Jeesh...just hoping he was new. Otherwise fantastic!!

The place is located in a perfect location to enjoy a sunny afternoon watching the crowd. The service was friendly but the place smelled of rotting fruit and was very dirty. You can see the counter and serving areas as well as the dish washing sinks. No reason to be this dirty so early in the afternoon other than lack of a serious cleaning for days.

I tried the steak sandwich and garlic fries with spicy bacon ketchup. They were both the bomb. A nice blend full of excellent spicy and savory flavors and crispy, crunchy, and chewy textures. Most items are about $10-- so it's not the cheapest--but you get what you pay for in terms of quality and quantity. There's also usually live music playing here on the weekends. And when there's no live music, they have good tunes playing in the background. A nice place to relax, enjoy a quality bite to eat/grab a drink at the outdoor bar, listen to music, and people-watch and look at the bay.
