Had a horrible experience with the parts department,I felt like there was resistance on their part to sell me a part. There were like 4 guys behind the counter and rick didn't even bother to physically look @ the part instead I got "we can go in circles all day here, but I dont know what to tell you" when I tried to show him the picture. Just Laziness they seemed more concered about the protesters than doing their jobs. Its best to go to the smaller guys who will actually help and stick with them .

The sales rep - Luis Rojas - was the most knowledgable I ever had. You could tell he just loved cars. I learned a lot. He worked within my budget and went the extra mile to treat me well. The absolute worst dealer to do business with. I've been waiting almost a year for the 1,200 dollars the general manager "promised" me because they sold me a broken car and never fixed it. All of this was after they double charged my lender. On top of it, the service department charged me 700 for a new motor mount which was cracked and broke again. Don't buy or have a car serviced here. They don't keep their promises or return your phone calls. I'll upload the conversation proof

I took my Chevy suburban to Carl black to be repaired.in may since then I have had to take it back three times soon to be four because the issues has not been fixed (although my credit card was billed).all they do is reset my codes and send the car back like no issues are present today my wife broke down again with our 6 children. I called to speak with the service manager and customer service manager and was given the run around if you want to waste time and money and be treated with below average customer service plz plz plz come here

When I reached out to the fleet sales dept,Kip was very quick to respond and offer several options for our needs. Kip offered to bring us a vehicle to look at immediately. Was on vacation and visiting family when our GMC terrain clunked out on us. Had the vehicle hauled 3-22-18 to Carl Black Chevrolet and upon arrival I was greeted by Sean in service telling him of situation of being from out of town and on vacation. They were really busy but he said they would make time to get my vehicle back on the road. Within 2.5 hours I was informed of the issue with the vehicle, the cost of parts and labor, and if I was ok for the repairs to be made before they attempted. Could not of had any better experience and considering the circumstances our vacation was not hindered. This is my second purchase of a truck from Carl Black Chevrolet and I have to say it was an even better experience. I came back because of the great service and deals I received the first time. When Josh Neville contacted me, he was able to help me over the phone through texting and many phone calls. He realized I lived 2 hours away and my life at the time was very busy. So, after working a great deal for me he then delivered my truck to my door step. What great service!! My Mother-n-law was so impressed by this that now she is ready to buy. I went to the dealer I attended Mr. seller attentive and very friendly ,,, introduced us the vehicle he was interested at that time Chevrolet Spank with manual transmission and in the car had a price of $ 9,990.00 and the back window had a price $ 12, ..... I'll talk about the car, what color it had available and how to pay me a surprise came Mr. G....with another price ... $ 12,592. for dialogues with their manager sale price ,,,, the explanation that he had committed an error in the price of money that was inside the vehicle was disappointed ,,, no local by Mr. but the sales manager ... then I left I called Mr. A... S.... to discuss the price ... price $ 9,990.00... It is disrespectful to me mistakes are ,,, and ,,, reward is offset from you that you might be interested.
I recommend getting your car serviced somewhere else. I had a great experience purchasing my vehicle with Dwight, but the service department is horrible. Over the course of 8 months, they gave me the runaround about a serious malfunction with my car.
During this pandemic, I offered to leave my car for a few days so they can test drive it to replicate the issue. Each day I called to check the status and Ieft messages for my service rep Eugene. He never returned my calls. So on the 3rd day, I called to speak with a manager and that is when I received an update saying they drove it, could not find an issue, and to come pick up my car.
I went to the dealership and had Rick Ebanks, a customer service manager, ride along with me with hopes of replicating the issue. IT DID!! Eugene suggested I call to reschedule an appointment when I was able to leave it again for a few days. I called, left another message, and he never returned my call!! I contacted Rick about my issues with the service department and my options of going to another GM dealership and he nonchalantly said if that is what I want to do then I can.
I took it to Orange Buick GMC and the service manager instantly knew what the issue could be. They test drove it, saw the issue, checked with GM on any issues with my car make/model and saw an alert for my EXACT ISSUE and re-calibrated the system the SAME DAY!
Carl Black service department is terrible. No customer service skills and unprofessional. Do yourself a favor and avoid being lied to and treated like your concerns are not important.
Ben Fordham, could be one of the best cars sales men i have worked with in years. It took me 2 weeks to decide on my new 2019 Silverado and not at any point did i feel like he was pushy or annoyed with me. We started looking for a car and we were connected to Sam in internet sales He was very easy to deal with and very courteous and nice. Once we arrived we dealt with Jack Cherelus to purchase our vehicle and he was really good and he took the time to help and answer questions. I went to Carl Black to buy my 2016 Buick Verano. My family always loyal to carl black when purchasing new or pre owned vehicles. Upon driving up I was greeted by a salesman (Raheim Brown) who went over and above to put my deal together. We dealt with Will Theiss today and bought a Chevy Suburban. Great car. So happy with it. Will made the experience enjoyable and we were done with everything in about three hours. Everyone at the dealership was nice and very professional. I would highly recommend Will and Carl Black the next time you are in the market for a car. I know that I will be back.
Customer and buyer beware! Gave them multiple visits to make it right but to no resolution. First visit for a dead battery, battery replaced under factory warranty. Second visit for an oil change, door panel rattle and rear suspension noise. I was told my door rattle was the cause of a repair done at another dealer in another state over a year prior and I was responsible for the trim piece, and I could "get reimbursed later for it." When they showed me the broken piece it was broken in three different places and they couldn't get it back on my door in any condition near what I brought it in as. Finally they agreed to warranty it (which GM wouldn't cover if it was abuse, so my conclusion is it was broken during my visit here when they took it off my door). As for my suspension noise they verified it, and when I asked for a loaner vehicle I was told "you leave your truck here, and we will put you on our three page loaner waiting list". Unacceptable for such a big dealership. Finally after almost two weeks, I believe 10 business days to be exact I called GM corporate as my truck was still not finished and day in day out Carl Black kept telling me my part for my door would be in. Within 24 hours of calling GM corporate my part was in and installed. But not before the service manager's recommended fix was taking pieces off of a 2019 Canyon on the lot fix my 2016 Canyon. More recently, my battery was failing again, this time I went to a different dealer, and the battery was again discharged. After looking through my repair orders, and doing some online research, Carl Black put in a discontinued battery with a discontinued part number and my battery was again failing within six months of their replacement. So how long was that battery sitting in their parts room for it to go dead that quickly, and why was it installed in my vehicle? Bottom line, you are just a number here and unless you have your wallet open for payment, you're at the back of the line. Also, if you're buying a new vehicle here, make sure all of your vehicle's pieces are there because in my situation they were going to part out a brand new truck to fix mine. One more thing, when the dealer reads this review and responds with "Contact Omar the general manager.." don't worry I emailed Omar, with pictures of the condition of my vehicle, my email to him was forward to the service manager and I received no response from Omar. Advice to management, you need a thorough review of your appointment scheduling process for service and you need to open your lines of communication to your customers because I am not the only review here with this type of experience.

I went to trade in two of my vehicles for one in an attempt to downsize on my vehicles. We had a great experience. George, Hector and Josh were very friendly, down to earth and had great senses of humor. They worked with us on the trade in amounts for the two vehicles, and the sales price to get me as close to my goal as they could. I'm sure they had had it with me by the time it was all a done deal (LOL) and I was rolling away in my new Yukon Denali, but they truly were a great bunch to work with and they made the process pretty painless and even though we were doing a car purchase deal, we had a great day doing it. Our goal of downsizing from two to one vehicle didn't exactly goes as planned (sighing), because I fell in love with a Sierra AT4 that was on the showroom floor and purchased that one 2 days later. George, Hector & Raheim were awesome on this vehicle purchase, they really were, they absolutely went above and beyond on the 2nd purchase to get the deal completed for us that day, even though I was stuck at work and could not leave they made it happen no matter what they had to do, they were willing to go the extra miles without hesitation!

After having difficulty with other dealerships and car sellers- poor service, unclear answers, not able to find something I like for an affordable price, etc.- I was very happy to have found the Carl Black Dealership. Luis Reyes was the primary representative assisting us- he was very kind, honest, and helpful. And what s perhaps most important, he did not act like a salesman and instead helping me figure out which choices would truly be best for me (even if it wasn t the most expensive). Since leaving the dealership, I have been nothing but happy with my vehicle. I would recommend this dealership to any and all looking for a great new/newish (and affordable) vehicle.

This would be my second time writing a good review on this dealership, I recently trade my Sentra for a Malibu I went ahead and went back on Saturday March 28, 2018 with my boyfriend to trade in his 2015 Chrysler 200 where we bought the car at Drive Time with a really high interest ( 17% ) with a monthly payment of $466 a month we wanted to see if we can trade it in and once again we came out with a new 2018 Chevy Cruz LT for the same monthly payment but with a VERY low interest at 4.50% this dealership has helped ME but ALSO my BOYFRIEND into a NEW CAR with a VERY VERY LOW INTEREST... I'm so thankful for this dealership and would like to say THANK YOU to the sales guy Joshua Castaldo who helped us out the second time... He does amazing job working out great deals..... My 2011 Chevrolet Aveo was towed to Carl Black needing a new engine. Not only was this covered 100% under a factory warranty, I was offered a 2016 car to use free of charge while mine was being serviced. I also had them look at another small issue I was having with the car and that was fixed for far less than the estimate I was given. My car was in the shop for almost two weeks and my service technician, Ray, called me every day to give me an update. After it was fixed, I drove my car out of the lot and realized my right directional was not working so I immediately returned. A technician came out to look at it and, because it was an easy fix, he took care of it right there and only charged me for the part. I would recommend this dealership completely and next fall, when I am in the market for a new car, I will going to Carl Black.
I received a letter in the mail to have a recall done on my 2003 Chevy Impala. I scheduled an appointment to have the recall done at Carl Black, but when I got to there, I got word that my parts weren't in. They sent me home and said they'd call when parts come in in a few days. That ended up being about a month. I just received an email yesterday stating that the parts were in, so I called to make an appointment to find out the parts wouldn't be in until July. This was the second or third time I tried to make an appointment. I will not be going back here. Taking my business elsewhere!
Will never purchase a car here again. Don t trust what they tell you. They will promise you one thing and not deliver. My husband and I had the worst experience with the finance manager. The salesperson wasn t well versed with the maintenance package and what it included. The finance manager was rude to us about the misleading information that was provided to us and also lied to us about the leasing agreement. I m so disappointed in the purchase we made and wish we never purchase from them ever again. Steer clear from this dealership. They are shady people!
I'm really afraid to say this - but I don't think I'll ever do further business with this dealership again. I do understand that no one was really holding me down when making the decision I made in trading in my car for a Cruze - but I didn't even have the car for more than one day and even pleaded to unwind the contract as sitting down and doing the math proved to be that this decision wasn't feasible for me. They kept reassuring me and I just fell for it. Even asking at one point for my keys back at least 3 times before I even signed the contract and they just kept pressuring me. I essentially traded in a good car for the same make, year and model - now with a higher payment per month and back $20,000.
Was told that because the papers were sent through, they wouldn't be able to retract what was sent even though most banks don't process documents over the weekend (I work for one) and as well as DMVs. So they retracted the Cruze and instead put through the same exact type of car I had traded in with 12k less miles.
I feel robbed and probably was. The Cruze is guaranteed to sell and they got another sale out of that Spark. They made pure profit and I got myself further in debt and regret. I don't know what else to do.
Update: After speaking to a rep and having my message directed to the REAL GM, I got my car back. I'm so happy that at least a couple people had the moral to understand my situation and the pressure I felt that no one should have to go through. Omar Rodriguez - although I did not speak to him directly, the rep (Monique? This is a very valuable lesson for me and it's something I will never do without making 100% sure that I want to go through with something even if I'm being told otherwise. Not everyone here is terrible and there have been good people I've met at this dealership that got me my Chevy Spark back in 2016 when I needed the help I could get. The service department in my experience were always great - in particular Karen Brown who has been honest to me and upfront. I did not want to abandon doing business with this dealership. But I know one area I will always avoid. Thank you again for working with me and pulling the strings. This really meant a lot to me and will probably be the best Christmas gift of this year.
This is my second vehicle purchase, this time with Leo. Excellent service and very happy with the way I was treated purchasing my new Malibu. I came in to see if I can get approved for a car even tho my credit wasn't that great. I Pulled up to the dealership, Mr.Raheim Brown came up to me and greeted me Professionally. Great environment and good people around. I told him what situation I was in and he gave me all available options. Few hours working on a deal with the manager, He gave me a price I couldn't turn down. So I bought a chevy Cruze and it's a great car and I love it. I have to say this was the best experience I've ever had purchasing a car, especially this being my first new car. Ryan was amazing he worked with me and helped me get into the car I wanted. And Josh from the finance department really made it like I was talking to a friend when explaining the paperwork that I had to sign. Amazing customer service and friendly environment.
