I am the new owner of a 2017 Buick Encore. I've been looking for a while and found just what I was looking for at Carl Black. Matt Miller was so helpful in finding the right vehicle for me. He went over all the different options in the other cars I was considering and took the time to ensure I was making the right decision for me. Matt worked with the finance department to negotiate a great price and interest rate for me and I am thrilled with my new vehicle! I've even called Matt a few times to ask questions about the electronic features that I'm still trying to figure out and he's been very patient with me, taking time to answer my questions. I love my new car and would highly recommend Carl Black!

I get out of my truck and immidiately get approached by a salesman, which is no problem but when he walks away I get approached by 5 more asking if I need help. I say no as I was already talking with the first guy but then i never see the first guy or anyone else after that. Very strange.

Jacob Foshee was awesome. Handled everything professionally and helped me out in every way he could. Brent Wiegmann was terrible at his job in the service department. He will tell you whatever you want to hear just to get you out. Brent said I could get a V8 loaner truck while mine was in the shop just getting oil, wash and wax. Then the manager tells me that they don't offer V8 loaners. This dealership needs their personnel trained a little more thoroughly. Brought it for a rear main seal leak and they told me it was a loose oil filter. Brought it a second time and they told me it was a oil pan gasket leak. It's still leaking and now I have to take more days off work to get this resolved.

Update 2018. Took my truck in because I only had 1st and 2nd gear. The service department takes my truck for almost a week and tell me I need new injectors and an O2 sensor. Being a Ford tech I knew they were wrong and trying to falsely have me replace good parts for $4000 in parts and labor. They lied about that because my bumper to bumper warranty ran out at 75k miles. This is the dirtiest place I have ever taken a vehicle and I will never purchase or recommend them to anyone.

Customer service here was a joke. I was very upfront with the fact I was not buying a car and I just wanted to get my car appraised (even made an appointment for just that) and to see what the car would end up being.... 1. The man I made the appointment with was no longer there conveniently so I had to be with a salesman instead. 2. We drove the car I was interested in, which is fine and then I sat in the lobby for about 30 minutes while they ran the numbers. 3. I was asked over 10 times what they can do to get me in a car same day (they were withholding my keys so I couldn't leave while they were negotiating) and finally number 4. While I was there for almost 2 hours total they walked me outside to my car and I asked what are the numbers??? "Oh since you aren't buying a car today we didn't appraise your car because there is no point." ..... So they legitimately wasted 2 hours of my time because I didn't do what they wanted me to EVEN THOUGH I was crystal clear from the beginning about not buying a car that day.

If I do end up buying a chevy, it will 100% not be from this dealership.

PS.. please tell your salesman the correct way to wear a mask. If I see their teeth, they aren't wearing it properly.

I had to take my car there because my car would not start and I replaced the battery and it died two days later. Karim was the gentlemen who helped me through the entire process. I love the fact they sent me a video of the work being done on the car and kept me informed through texts and calls. He was AMAZING!! His customer service was great and I told him I just bought a house and this problem came at such a horrible time. He took great care of me and congratulated me on the house! I definitely recommend working with him if you ever need to take your car to them for service.

Tried to get an oil change here at around 5:15 pm on a Monday. I was turned away by the woman at the service desk (after they told me someone would be with me shortly and continued their personal conversation) saying "oh ur dropping off for tomorrow?" I said no I would like to get the service done today. She responded "oh well you can leave it." Guess I was supposed to walk home. Instead of offering to schedule an appointment for the next day they let me walk out of the office. The attendant outside was already putting the plastic and paper protectors in the car so I guess he wasnt even aware of the "cutoff." Instead of trying to fit me in the attendant wished me luck wherever I go for future service. My question is this: Is this how you treat customers? A simple explanation and an offer to schedule an appointment would have made me much less upset. Anyways, I ended up going to a new chain tire shop that just opened near my house. They got the job done in 30 minutes and even gave me 10 dollars off for me having to wait approximately 2 minutes when they had a little computer trouble. Not bad since I probably waited longer for the woman at Chevy to finish her personal story and then turn me away!

We were looking to up size our vehicle and were not to sure of our options. John walked us through every step of the way without hesitation. We were visiting with a 2 week old infant and he even made arrangements to provide some private space while we worked out our deal. This was the most incredible car buying experience I have ever had. Dude, these guys are AMAZING! Last year I leased a 2019 Blazer RS from a South Miami dealer and I had so many problems out of it. Finally, GM bought it back and Carl Black of Orlando had the exact 2020 Blazer that I wanted, so I reached out. From the very first moment of contact, they were kind, courteous, and understanding of my situation. I live in the Florida Keys, so driving to Orlando wasn't something I wanted to do. These guys offered to drive my new Blazer down to me AND deducted the miles from my lease! I legit have never experienced customer service like I have with these guys. John, Gabby, Luis, Travis and I think another Luis, you guys rock! They did all my paperwork and financing via text/calls and it was the easiest process! Scheduled an Appointment with a loaner car on Friday. Told mondays not a good day so make it Tuesday morning. Just drive in and everything will be set up. Arrived at 7:30 am and not only was i not in the system but you guessed it...no loaner. So i had to cancel and drive to work. When you have a customers info and you drop the ball entirely it just doesnt look good. Missed almost 2 hours if work for nothing. As someone who works for a car dealership this isnt a good way to gain new customers.

I purchased a 2017 gmc Denali 2500 Brand new off the lot , was around $76,000 and also purchased a extended warranty , fast forward 2 years and 38,000 miles later I have several issues with the truck , some minor some Big Deal
Let s just get straight to the big one, MOLD from leaking back vent of cab , I only know where the leaks from because they found the leak , keep in mind I have been driving with mold in my truck with no idea for months and who knows what s it s done to me and my family as we cruise orlando . Alex from service called me today and that the leak and molded carpet aren t covered under warranty and it would cost $700-$800 to fix the issues , the money is no issue or problem it s the principal that I bought the $76,000 truck and extra warranty for reasons like this , the fact that the company won t fix the issue without trying to make me pay has made me change my mind about waiting for the 2020 2500 series to come out and purchase , I ll be visiting the local ford dealer tomorrow and checking into a f250 platinum .

Customer service can make a break any business and as a General Manager myself I know that the negatives tend to be often more highlighted and publicized than the positives. I recently went to have my car serviced at this location for several different things and I must say a few employees there gave me consistency. Alex is an employee of yours in the service department that I feel went above and to meet my specific needs recently when my vehicle was not starting.
Alex went above and beyond to ensure that I was properly informed about my vehicle. What started as a simple issue to my battery ended up being that I felt so valued as a customer, that he really did care about my best interest as well as my vehicles I did all the recommended maintenance there. I could have gone some where and had my service done cheaper however due to his consistency as well as amazing customer service I decided not to. I also must applaud Kate in the rental department who came in after she had already left for the day to ensure I would have a vehicle to function while my vehicle was being repaired. Many people would have came back being upset, hostile or maybe not come at all but she did. Not only did she come in but gave genuinely amazing customer service with a smile on her face. The amazing interactions I have had not only speaks to the consistent amazing customer service these two wonderful employees have .I feel like it is a huge attestation to the leadership they have in the store. As a GM who has risen through the ranks I know for a fact getting that type of genuine response from an employee tends to usually mean they have a person above them instilling good form, hard work and showing appreciation. If you treat an employee like gold they will treat every person they encounter like gold. In my interactions with this location I have witnessed with my own two eyes the way Louis is with his employees. I wanted to do this review because I feel not only the bad should be said but also the good. Alex from service, Kate from rental and Louis Leon are all definitely rock stars. I m surprised this dealer has 4.4 stars. This location has the worst service department I have ever dealt with. I own a 2016 certified GMC Sierra Denali, still under certified warranty and the A/C stopped working. I was told to drop off my vehicle early the next morning for a diagnostic, oil change, and tire rotation. I dropped it off the night before so that it could be seen early the next morning as they said. I called them around 2pm to check on the status of the vehicle. I was told they had a large volume of cars to look at and that they had not been able to get to my car yet. At that point was when I found out that my certified vehicle warranty was split into two parts, part 1 Power train and Part two being the rest of the vehicle which of course included the A/C unit and that this part had expired two years after the vehicle was purchased. I was told that to determine what was wrong I had to pay $150 inspection fee. Around 4pm I was sent a bogus video of a technician inspecting other things under the truck such as the tires, breaks, differential, etc, which btw was not the reason I took the truck in, in the first place and was texted 10 mins after to tell me that the condenser blew out and to repair it would cost me almost $1,600, oh but that the $150 inspection cost would be applied to the total repair amount and that I would have to leave my vehicle an extra day. I called them back to ask why I hadn t received a video of them checking the A/C unit then was told that they don t send videos for that which led me to believe that they knew all along what was wrong with the A/C unit, but wanted an extra $150 from me. At that point it was 5pm so I called them back to let them know I was picking up my truck and was advised that the vehicle would be ready for pickup. I was texted shortly after to ask me if I still wanted to perform the oil change and the tire rotation because that had not been done yet in which I responded that I would be picking up the vehicle. I paid the $150 for the inspection fee took my truck and left. The next morning I called around to different A/C repair shops for some estimates. I explained to them that my A/C was out and with just providing them the year, make and model immediately over the phone both repair shops told me that it was the condenser and that GMC knows about this issue which is a common one among my type of vehicle and that it happens all the time because these shops handle this problem for them very frequently which confirms that from the beginning Carl Black GMC knew what the problem was, but made me wait all day for the inspection and let me leave without taking care of the oil change and the tire rotation and charged me $150 for babysitting my truck. I decided to proceed with the repair through one of these two shops and in 4 hrs my vehicle was fixed, ohh and for half the price. This creates the question of how do these repair shops handle this type of issue so quickly? Easy, this is a common issue that GMC has and these shops have repaired so many cars with the same problem, but GMC HAS DONE NOTHING at all to do right by the consumer, such as recall for this type of issue. GMC does not stand by their customers and their product.

I have a Chevrolet Cruze 2012 and this is the WORST vehicle made to man kind. This vehicle has had oil leaks , coolant leaks , check engine lights , misfiring , air bag issues , over heating issues , head gasket problems and now cylinder issues . This vehicle is unfit and unsafe to drive and that is because GM is manufacturing these vehicles that are putting people life s in harm . I ve replaced over 3 hoses for the radiator and even the thermostat and that still caused the head gasket to blown !! I ve contacted GM no help I ve spoken to my local Chevrolet no help . I even went there in person and one of the workers said in his exact words yea those cars are known for these issues ! So if this company knows of this issue why are they constantly allowing people to continue to drive these vehicles without having a recall . When I drive this car I am so scared for my life because everyday is a different driving experience . Imagine driving with your nieces and nephews as they are explaining there day at school to you and your car starts to shake abruptly out of nowhere . There life was also in danger who knows what could of happened and GM does not give a care in the world enough to hear my story . I drive my car and it misfires I constantly am buying parts for this car to just turn out worst at the end of the day . Because no one wants to help me I believe a lawsuit will get my voice out there and speak for other Chevy Cruze car owners . This is unacceptable I m tired of this. I Am losing job opportunities job hours because I cannot drive this vehicle because I m scared I may not see another day driving this vehicle . How could you dare make someone who drives your vehicle feel this way . Completely disgusted with GM

They took my bad situation and turned it into a positive very quickly and my issue is going to be resolved soon Thanks to Kyle. So it is because of this and Kyle I changed my review because this is going above and beyond for understanding the issues and customer satisfaction. And Louis (finace manager) was escalating things to get results as well, putting me with the right people I needed to speak with. This is why they have my loyalty. Alex was my first point of contact and he was very inviting and kind. He listened and was patient. He then set us up with Luis. I can t say enough good things about Luis, he makes the difference. He is kind, respectful, patient, honest and most of all knowledgeable. In the future I will buy cars and urge others to buy from Luis at Carl Black.

Before going to Carl Black found the perfect car I wanted. I was very specific to the features, color, and extras. John WAS ABLE TO LOCATE 1 OF THE 2 Blazers with my specifications IN THE ENTIRE STATE OF FLORIDA! I was also in a time constraint and needed the car with within a very short time frame. I recently purchased my second vehicle with Carl Black. I finally traded in my Buick Verano for my dream truck- A 2019 Chevy Silverado 1500. When I pulled into the dealership I was welcomed by Dowain without feeling pressured. Since I basically knew what I wanted, he directed me to the truck and he explained every detail before we went on our test drive.

I was hooked! We went through the whole process and in the end, drove away with my truck. From Dowain, to the manager, to the John the finance advisor, we had the best experience without feeling like a number to them. We felt more like family as cheesy as that sounds. We purchased the extended warranty for 100k miles and know we will own my dream truck until the wheels fall off. If you plan on buying your next car, ask for Dowain!

This is my experience at Carl Black today on 8/19/2019. I made an appointment to have my truck checked out be cause a couple weeks ago I had routine maintenance service done at Carl Black. (Oil change tire rotation). I noticed that since then they serviced it. The truck vibrates and there is play in the rear end. When I made the appointment I notated this. I also live in Brevard county and told them if they needed to keep my truck that I would need a loner vehicle because I cannot walk home as this is my only vehicle. I should note my truck is covered under warranty. Well I got there right before my appointment time and got signed in. I also told them again that if they need to keep my truck that I would need a loner vehicle. After waiting for about an hour and a half while I m staring at my truck sitting on the side of the building with the hazard lights flashing. ( I went and turned off the hazards light myself). They have this texting app now and I text for an update. The service guy comes to me to tell me that they are basically to busy to look at my truck and they don t have any loner vehicles and I can come back when they do have one. I told him that no I can not as I do have a life, I work all week and I can not just jump up and go to Carl Black at anytime as to why I made an appointment and told them that I would need a loner vehicle if they needed to keep my truck.
Basically after spending most of the day there. The only option he would give me is either come back or wait to see if they could look at my truck being it s first come first serve bases. (Don t understand why you need an appointment then). And he couldn t promise that it would get looked at today. They would not help me get a loner or anything. My warranty covers rental vehicle as long as they have a diagnosis. Basically they didn t help and didn t seem to care if they did or not. I chose Carl Black to get my vehicle from and serviced there cause of there customer reviews. I don t live in Orlando. I live in Brevard county. I did speak to one of the managers before I left.

Terrible service and scamming for more money. They have had my car for over a week and refuse to return my calls. When I brought my car to them the first time, they gave me a list of what was causing the problem and I asked them "what will get my car working again so I can get to my much needed job?" I don't have a lot of money and cannot afford to spend it all on auto repairs. They told me I needed a (very expense) tune up, charged me $900 and when I was on my way to work, my car wasn't going anywhere. I had to have it towed (they did not offer to pay the $80). They then told me it was bad gas in my tank and it would cost another $400 to fix. Being generous (laughingly) they gave me a rental for as long as it took to fix my car. Then I was told that they could only give me the rental for a week before charging me $42 a day. I was paid today and was going to pick up my car first thing in the morning so I would only be charged for one day for the rental. I am hoping is fixed but I haven't heard a word from them. I left THREE messages yesterday and no one has bothered to pick up the damn phone for a two minute conversation and let me know what is going on with my car. I will NEVER go back to Carl Black. Terrible service and they seem to be finding more and more wrong with my car just so they can charge me more with out getting it running so I can get to work. I do NOT like being scammed!

***UPDATE*** They made amends. Upon learning of my dissatisfaction, Kyle Cloud, the service manager called me and asked me to come in and we would talk about my car. He apologized for the trouble I went through and for them not finding what was wrong with my car the first time. I don't remember his exact words but he told me he would make sure my car was in good working order before returning to me. They cleaned and flushed out the gas tank and filled it with fresh gasoline. My car also needed four new injectors, which Kyle had FedEx deliver to them so they could fix my car and have back to me before the weekend. He also had one of their drivers bring my car to my job so I wouldn't need to lose any more time from work. Thank you Kyle, I appreciate what you did for me.

I have bought 3 trucks at Carl Black since 2008 and for the first time i had to take my truck in for a recall of a safety software update. Super nice person called to let me know about the recall, i made an appointment. I showed up on time for the appointment. Nice guy checked me in and said that he didn't have a loaner car for me. I said. No problem, how long could it take? I have an appointment. Totally unperturbed he says "Hopefully only 2.5 or 3 hours." What? "Yea, it is no big deal, but i gotta get it in the shop first." I explained that it seems like a long time for a software update when i have an appointment. He pointed at my truck and said "Your truck is right there." I expect something better from a place that has gotten $125,000 of my money

My wife and I went to Car Black yesterday February 14 to buy a truck. It s was amazing how the costumer service was outstanding. We spend about 2 hour s to do the all paperwork process. We have a special mention to Louis, David sales man and John on financial department who s help us to make decisions to choice the truck we want .
Thanks to everyone and we will recommend any person who want buy or truck, go to Car Black for all yours need. Great price, costumer service and quick paperwork process.
