I have never been to Carl Black since I moved here in 1991. But, it just so happened that my budget opened up a bit to allow me to buy the F150 that I have wanted for YEARS. After extensive internet searches, we narrowed our possibilities to three different dealers...The first one was Carl Black. I met with Jeff Johnson and he was bending over backwards to make sure we were satisfied. He gave us drinks and worked hard to make this deal happen (Even though I am somewhat arrogant and tough to work with). It took a little more time than I wanted to be there, but I left there with my new truck. Jeff went back and forth between us and the 'man behind the curtain' and eventually we made a deal.
Would I recommend Carl Black for your next vehicle? Yes...as long as you get Jeff Johnson as your salesman.

I checked in at the service desk and they were done with my vehicle in 30 minutes. They swapped and SD card in the navigation system. The navigation system worked for 6 days, but is now getting the same failure.
Had a 9 o clock appointment today I arrived at 8:45am for a recall on my pick up truck something with the computer needed to be updated for the braking system talk to the service department and ask them how long it s gonna take about an hour we should have you out of here after an hour I go out back to the service department for my truck and it s in the same spot it was when I arrived I asked the service tech is the truck ready he looks for the key told him the trucks right there in front goes back to the service tech in the back comes back out nothings been done to the truck wants me to wait another 30 to 40 minutes! Telling me a laptop wasn t available Laptop wasn t available I m pretty sure this is $1 million business here no reason why a service techs Laptop should not be available terrible service today my time is valuable something that should take 30-40 minutes now a 2hrs ordeal came here thinking it would be better than Chevy Autonation at this point I m not impressed more frustrated and unsatisfied!

Best dealer experience I ve had!! Leonard and Matt M. were quick and to the point with no nonsense, and EXCEPTIONAL service. Leonard even gave my boyfriend a ride to his job during rush hour because our appointment went a little longer than expected. We both really appreciate the extra miles he went but did not have to take. His character and kindness clearly runs deeper than the job! Also the gentleman who helped with financing (who s name escapes me at the moment) was great and he made the paperwork process quick and painless! Happy with my experience it was a little slow at first due to the hurricane but brought my truck back in after to find out what was wrong with it after taking it to several different places and then not knowing and they got the problem fixed quick. And big plus to Nelson in the service department even with me being impatient he was absolutely helpful easy to work with and kept in great contact!!!! Great experience!!!!
My experiences (service and parts) have been overall positive. The parts guys were a joy to work with--helpful and funny. The part I ordered was no longer common and came a bit scratched which was disappointing but not something I would be seeing often so I didn't worry about it. Service department seemed a bit disorganized, lots of people working but not much "I'll be with you" (even though only one waiting) however in the end the guy that assisted me (there for a recall and a key program) was a great help even helping teach me a thing or two for future reference. I don't remember names but I was pleased with the one on one interactions I received.

I'd also like to mention the finance guy, Travis. He has the best job of them all (sealing the deal). You hear about so many finance guys pushy with unnecessary add-ons, but Travis wasn't one of them. He seemed to only mention what he felt may be necessary, leaving the decision totally up to me, no pressure. He was also very personable. I enjoyed completing my required paperwork with him.

I went into Carl Black last week to look at a cargo truck for work. The sales guy Justin was very honest and not pushy at all. I ended up purchasing the truck however when I got home the truck was so long it blocked part of my side walk. Being as I worked from the house and have a crazy home owners association this was a major problem! I went on google and found out that the dealership actually is not legally responsible for returning the car to me even though it had only been about 5 hours since the purchase. I called Lance the manager at Carl Black and he told me to come down and he would take care of me. This was at 9 P.M! I came down there and ended up with a much smaller van that gets great gas mileage and is a lot better for me. When I finally left that night it was around 11 P.M and the staff stayed to make sure I had a vehicle to leave in. I would highly recommend going here if you are looking for a vehicle.
After looking at other places and online, I decided to come into Carl Black. I worked with Jon Palko, and he redefined what I thought car salesman were like. He never made me feel pressure, but gave me the facts in a way that I understood. I ended up buying a new Trax. Carl Black Orlando is different from the rest. One year later, I'm still waiting on the money that the general manager said he would reimburse me for selling me a lemon car that no longer runs. A brand new Camaro shouldn't have issues. Omar said he would work on getting me reimbursed for several months of payments and time that I was out of a vehicle.

Everything was great until I drove off the lot with my certified preowned car. After leaving, a parking sensor came on and that same evening discovered the DVD player did not work. After taking the vehicle to another dealership near my home, they discovered a bad battery as well. I have sent emails to Jonathan (my salesperson) Bryan (used car manager) and Omar (GM) asking only for help on the $150 battery expense I incurred. I believe that all of this should have been caught with a certified pre-owned inspection.
No responses from anyone at the dealership. At least have the professionalism to respond with an answer after I purchased a $45,000 vehicle from your dealership rather than the one near my home.

The two of them were great and the manager should be lucky to have these two because they looked out for me and they ll look out for you as well.
Cliff and Luis the finance manager were the best. Cliff was personable and cared about our recent car loss. He helped us find a car and eased the pain if getting back into a car note. Luis worked a great deal and the next day called us back to say He lowered our payment even more so we need you to sign again. That was the best news I have ever heard from a dealer after the deal was already signed and complete. These guys will definitely keep our business going forward. My husband and I just purchased a Suburban from Carl Black, we were apprehensive based on my sister's poor experience there with the Sales Manager Bryan Levitt, but went anyway because they had what we were looking for. I do express the same distaste for the Sales Manager as my sister, a very arrogant demeanor who obviously puts himself above everyone else...very noticeable and dissatisfying as a customer. HOWEVER, working with both Ryan Sibble Brice (Sales Consultant) and Raheim Brown (Finance Manager) made this investment worthwhile, they both provided excellent customer service and truly turned the experience around. If it weren't for them we would have left. So major kudos to them and we are beyond thankful for the service and personable experience they provided. I'm giving 4 stars not 5 solely based on the Sales Manager, being in HR I would never allow that type of representation of my company.

I recently purchased my GMC Canyon from Carl Black Chevrolet. Leo Willis was our salesman. I chose Carl Black because I asked not to be contacted when I inquired about buying my truck online initially. Carl Black Chevrolet was the only dealership who honored my request not to be contacted. When we got to the lot we were immediately approached by Leo and we told him what we wanted to look at. He brought out the exact vehicle and left us alone to look at the vehicle. Then we left telling him we would return. He didn't try to pressure us or coerce us in any way to stay and purchase a vehicle. He simply thanked us for stopping in and told us he would see us later. In the meantime, I decided on exactly the truck I wanted and emailed it to Leo who immediately found it on the lot and got back to me. I revisited Carl Black Chevrolet and test drove my new vehicle. Their finance guys are the same as any other place, they sit behind a glass and play cat and mouse with you but in the end I felt I got a fair deal. Leo Willis, however, was very knowledgeable about the vehicle, he was personable and he honored my wishes by not pressuring me. I would definitely recommend Carl Black Chevrolet and Leo Willis if you would like a hassle-free experience.

After picking out dealerships to visit based on online reviews, it is now my turn to leave a review, in order to give a bit of insight to the next person looking to buy/lease a car. My all-around experience at Carl Black was excellent. Dowain was my sales representative. From the moment I spoke with him, I was really impressed. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and helped me find the perfect car, working in tandem with one of the managers, Sam. Sam seems very good at his job in the managerial role, and met my expectations in terms of my interactions with him. To be honest, after visiting a few other dealerships, it was the Dowain-Sam combo that brought me back to make the deal with them. In addition, they went above and beyond to do the right thing by me, after the delivery of the vehicle took quite a bit longer than anticipated, due to circumstances beyond anyone's control. I will not soon forget the lengths Dowain, Sam, and whoever else was involved, went in order to make sure I was more than happy when I left the lot with my new car. Also, for what it is worth, both times I was at the dealership on different days, the owner was walking and/or riding around the premises. While the timing may have been coincidental, it was incredibly nice to see his presence in the public areas of the dealership, near the customers. All of this to say, I highly recommend Carl Black Chevrolet Buick GMC for your purchased and/or leased car needs, and be sure to ask for Dowain as your sales rep, too! You will receive best-in-class service as a result of this decision, the same way I did.
I was very dissapointed at how badly i was treared when getting warranty work done in the service department. Nelson would not return my calls, he did not offer me a loner car for 3 days and then waited till 5pm the night before my car was finished. It is obvious that since i wasnt spending money, i was the lowest priority.
My time Carl Black was tremendous. Hector Jimenez did a great job securing manageable deal while Leonard showed me a variety of cars and helped me pick one that was a perfect fit.
