Great location and could do so much better with their service and facilities. Glasses were dirty, not convinced they were even washed. Seat missing on the toilet. No soap in the dispensers. They needed more staff. Not in a hurry to go back there.

Good place for a bite before a boat cruise or to meet friends. The Mezze dip plate was very good. Nice Sunday arvo place to chill.

Terrible guy at the bar at 7pm 25 March 2019. I was waiting for a good 5 mins while he served others, and he saw me there already. However, there was this good looking woman that came to the bar after me, I believe he wanted to serve her first so he said "no kids at the bar". Yes I was in my gym wear looking young however, if he was strict about his no kids at the bar rule, then he should have carded me from the start. Secondly, no kids at the bar is the rudest way to card someone. You can say - can I have some id. Either way after I got my ID out, he didn't even say "sorry" for asking rudely, or say something like my bad you look so young. Bad service.

Really liked this place! Good value drinks on the river and fireworks every Saturday!

Not every week you go to go cargo for a party and to our surprise we could hear fireworks going off at Darling harbour and all we could see was scaffolding. Bummer

Cargobar Sundays.. what a vibe. The talented band "SuiteAz" amazed us with there performance and the drinks cheap with helpful stafff.... will be back again and again :-)

Perfect location for a Friday afternoon drink. I'd paid more than I would have liked for a drink but it is the city, and by the water. Relaxing to sit there and people watch as the sun slowly drifts away behind the casino. As 5pm ticks over the crowds will slowly increase but suddenly it will be packed and bar trips will become a challenge.

Easy to get to and when it's time to leave its close to buses, trains, ferries and taxis if you need a plan B ;-)

Nice place good food drinks bearable service slow as as this place gets rammed with people particularly during the weekend.

The atmosphere is always good on a weekend. Drinks are not cheap but worth it if you are with a good group of people. Upstairs has a small dance floor and good views form the balcony. Some nights are very busy so its not a last minute option as you might not get in.

Gluten and dairy free (and really good) fish and chips is a rare treat for those who suffer!

Great bar 9ver looking the water in Darling Harbour. Specials and happy hours most days and I can recommend a hearty rump steak for around a tenner. Super value and great location. Just watch out for the gulls. Gulls will be gulls.

Enjoyed a really solid lunch meal from Cargos today - most people that I ate with had the $10 steak and were pleased. Beetroot ravioli was also good. Great value for money.

I went in here on a rainy Thursday evening for a quick drink to meet an old friend. We knew it's a tourist trap but we were in a bit of a rush. I was surprised by how rude the barman was. Balding, blond haired fellow - never said please or thank-you once. I think he rated himself, somewhat.

After the third round I noticed that the price of the beer had increased by $4! We were only drinking schooners of pure blonde. So, my advice is to watch your change because they have some dishonest people working here!

Great place to have after work dinner & drinks with it $10 steaks from monday to wednesday. I make a really nice beef burger & chips however it not in my top 10.

Very rude staff. NO ACCEPTABLE MANNERS WITH CUSTOMERS. We were sitting there for 15 minutes and no one even came to us ask what we are looking for.

Had an excellent steak for only $10. I think it's their Monday to Wednesday (or Thursday) offer. It's a great location and ideal for a meal or drink with friends for lunch or dinner. Haven't been there at night time.

The lunch time steak deal for $10 Monday to Thursday is really good value.

People smoking upstairs from 9 onwards. Didn't know indoor smoking had been allowed again?!??!

Sticky and dirty tables, bad music and $13 for a pint of Tooheys. Pizza was OK. Security were very friendly.

The guy Barron was amazing... He is super cool.. Nice venue.. Good food and Good Music... The DJ Adriana was awesome.. Overall perfect place to go with friends on a Saturday night... Highly recommended

Cargo has stepped it up since the renovations. Still a nightclub on the good nights, and also has a fantastic function space. Will be interesting to see what happens after the lockout laws go!

My food took like an hour to come but they gave me a cup of coke :) Food was cheap and good.

Spent Saturday night along King Street Wharf - LOVED Cargo Bar. All of the staff, including security looked to be enjoying their workplace, which is so nice to see.

the customer service at the restaurant is great,. the steaks a great and it is very family oriented place.

Very good service, the staff are friendly, and the meals were very nice at affordable price. This place is very well layed out, highly recommended.

The music was really loud but it's a nice place next to the Harbour. The service was good. We find the prices a little bit high but it's in touristy area of Sydney so expactable.

AMAZING. Dance and drink the night away. Beautiful location close to many other clubs. Perfect place to start or end your night. Large outdoor area for smokers. LOVE LOVE LOVE.

Average....very average. Food was slow to arrive (took over 40 minutes) and the place wasnt even full! When it did arrive the Chicken schnitzel was not cooked well. The Chicken caesar had about three pieces of chicken total!
Save yourself some money and try a different place to eat.

I wish they'd hire people who work at the entrance with a bit more brains, not just brawn. Instead of inviting, it's intimidating walking to a door with a gorrilla dressed in black ready to pounce on you because you're more intelligent than he is. He was asked by his manager what's one plus one and he said PURPLE. WTF ???!!!

Anyway, not a very nice place.

Elliot at Cargo is a star. Absolutely next level experience and is great at recommending locations around Sydney to enjoy. Come have a drink or meal at this bar - I've never met Elliot but was so impressed with the level of service I had to leave a 5 star review.

Favourite Saturday night venue on the harbour and love coming here for drinks! Highly recommended

We arrived and given no clear direction where to sit or how it works with covid safe rules sat down there was a sign said order through qr code done that ordered drinks very limited options no cocktail options, after drink order placed waited 20 minutes before being told by staff that probably has worked as the systems down and need to go to bar to reorder so went to the bar only to have the drinks be delivered to the table while at the bar.
Food was completely unappealing ended up finishing mediocre drink and leaving.
Unfortunate as i used to rave on how good cargo bar was won't be anymore do hope improvement happen.

9pm abd they take 2/3 full cocktail and then replace it with what they call a coctail. More like a mocktail. Then they took my friends as well.

A Sydney staple. If you are a local, you likely would have ended up here at some stage whether you wanted to or not. Pretty decent place with a nice view of the harbor.
