Rum steak for $ 10 a week, unbeatable price! Great ambience, right on the harbor!

The cocktails were good. Didn't have the whole lot. But whatever we had was good stuff and staff were being "staff" instead of being nice.

I really enjoy coming to Cargo as the food and drink prices are not outrageous. Very nice sitting outside looking on the water. I always come with a bunch of friends as it caters for group sizes

They have renovated this bar in recent years and it now looks and feels very much like a nice bar. They allow you to purchase beverages such as beer and wine. I would recommend this place to anybody who feels like drinking alcohol and sitting in a bar that is nice and good. I hope you found this review helpful. Unequalled regards etc.etc

Ok for a visit. Better for the young ones. Music not best for my age group. Good beer. Food average. My fish was a bit mushy.

Awesome atmosphere great meals and the $10 steaks meals were a treat, great value and will visit again next time in sydney Darling harbor.

Same experience as Benedikt, the utterly incompetent door staff couldn't decide which door we should use and the manager, overwhelmed, decided to ban us, I think he did us a favour really as there are far better venues in the Harbour

Full of pretentious Sydney folk and dolled up overweight high heel wearing tossers. The women are also obnoxious.

Went for the $10 steak, great value for money. Cargo Lounge has a great location right on the darling harbour and always seems to be busy, creating a great atmosphere for after work drinks/food.

Food is great, nice place to have a beer with great sunset view

Bianca the barmaid was so awesome and had amazing energy she made my night at cargo amazing and also made me amazing gonna nd tonic shout out Bianca give her a raise.

Igloo meal was awesome. We were well looked after and had great food and drinks.

Bar queue on a Friday night is a bit too long for my liking!

Came here for my 21st and was such a good night! I know it was tough with COVID restrictions but they really made my birthday so good !!!

Didn't buy food, was stopping off with others to have a beer. Beer is expensive, $11 approx for smaller beer, $13+ for larger one. Service is slow because the number of severs is not proportional to the crowd being served, took around 15 mins in the line to get served. To be fair, they do have a Q code where you can order online, perhaps that might have been quicker but some in my group used it and they still had to wait for their meals but they were able to order quicker

This location has great atmosphere and music. Bar staff and people in the bar were very friendly and willing to chat. Overall a good place to relax with a few drinks and friends and enjoy Darling Harbor.

Went here for a nice snack and drink and all I can say is that Yumi (our bartender) made the experience so much better. Fun, bubbly and a good sense of humor. Only for you I would come back! See you soon!

this bar is really good especially when u have a big group. the music is great, they are open till dawn and the staff are friendly and good service. the location is great right next to the water and its in cookle bay wharf, excellent for birthdays and party goers.

Extremely rude and unhelpful staff. Will definitely never come back again.

Literally had such a good, 5hr night dancing can't remember much about the club.

Downstairs is fake, not fun and full of pretentious bogans with the top 40 music to match.

Bar service was average at best. Menu for cocktails... didn't even serve cocktails.

Kind of a touristy location, but located on Darling harbour. It's good bar food, and great for views and a cocktail but I wouldn't necessarily recommend it for a full sit down meal.

Cargo bar and their staff are amazing. Too bad the Reign event staff are disrespectful and rude to customers and allow their family members to run through the club causing trouble. Cargo bar may need to reconsider their affiliation with Reign.

One of best places around kings wharf to hang around on weekends

Nice Wharf views to just sit and drink especially on a sunny day. I can't comment on the food as I didn't order at the time.

Saturday and Sunday nights are great fun at Cargo Bar, awesome DJ's on Saturdays and cool live bands on Sundays. I've never had a bad experience in all my time coming here, they've always got me coming back for more !

Went back for first time since 2003 last night to watch Wallabies vs Wales. I then remembered why I hadn't been back since 2003. Nothing has changed. Bar staff have distant stares, didn't know what a middy was (they advised they only served schooners). Promoted as a sports bar, RWC flags everywhere, yet didn't even have commentary on all the while music playing in the background to an empty bar - hopefully demolished soon

We reached at around midnight last night and refused to get shots as per the rules,which make sense . However somewhere around 12.30am , a girl next to us ( wearing same dress as other bartenders) got a shot from the same bartender who refused us (the one with glasses).We were shocked .This is very disgrace for such a reputed bar. We wanted to raise this issue with the managers but social post makes more impact and lead to investigation(if they really care).Rule has to be same for all of us without any sort of discrimination. I am a part of hospitality industry as well and i am aware of all these rules. Would not be returning definately.

Good location but service is bad, slow, waiters/security/manager are lazy who just want to close early to go home because they got $$$ from jobkeepers. Won't come back.

Been years since l have been to Cargo Bar... and they still have a tender $10 steak, chips and salad lunch on a waterfront in Sydney..bargain - worth a visit.

Worst staff ever. HIGH PRICED ($28 the jug of beer) staff and 'manager' very RUDE, specially the blond French bar tender. While this place is in wrong hands (inexperienced 'manager') I'm NEVER going back. DON'T RECOMMEND FOR ANYONE. just go to other place. I recommend Bungalow or Tokyo bar, both few meters ahead, where you can find well trained staff and good prices.

Okay place for a drink and dance. Attracted a younger crowd while we were there. Cover charge was 20 per person when we went. Bar service was fast.

We decided to go with the $59 igloo package on a Tuesday evening. The food is on the simple side but still great value for money.
The staff were so attentive! They kept on checking in to see if we needed anything. As it was a cold night, they gave us blankets and ensured we were comfortable with the heating throughout the night.

Great night out was had with open bar overlooking Darling Harbour. The drinks were well priced and the venue is clean and formal. The staff are highly professional and I would certainly go back!

SO MUCH FUN! 6 of us hired an Igloo for a Friday night and paid $59 for two hours of bottomless wine and beer. We also got an extremely large amount of food - for 3 boys and 3 girls and still had some left over. Special shout out to James who was our waiter for the evening! We were never without a drink and he made the night very enjoyable for us! We want to book in again! Great atmosphere, Great time & Great work James!

Attended a work function. Immediately after we finished our bar tab the security began removing the organisers for the event who did not look in anyway intoxocated to try and get the party out the door, presumably to make space to start charging entry fees.

Good selection of beer, 10$ stakes are really good value for money.

the $10 steak is a great deal. But sometimes it's a miss. perfect place to go if you are on a tight budget bit want to have steak. Must be there at 1130am to prevent the long queue. there is a bot of waiting.

We hired a igloo for a birthday , nora was by far the best host I ve ever come across she was amazing , always making sure we were okay and had drinks flowing , hands done money spent well will definitely be back

Would recommend for a cheap and cheerful lunch and drink. Chicken parmy was bloody good but the vicious seagulls nearly took me head off!!

Rly friendly staff! The winter cocktails are to die for. And the igloos are nice and warm. Love the atmosphere. Good for girls night out.
