Had a cracking night, food was good and the DJ was amazing. Looking forward to the dance floor being back open. Doing the YMCA while sitting feels like I m holding in a sneeze.

Great location, wide variety of tasty meals with good service. Also a good late night spot with good music and space.

Its nice for drinks but terrible for food. We went up to order our food. Requested fillet steak and asked to swap the chips for mash (mash was cheaper on the menu). We were told we would have to pay extra for the mash! So we kept the chips. She then asked if we would like to change the fillet ($34) for rump ($10 special). As I don't eat rump we declined and requested the fillet. When it came it was clearly rump. It was tough and chewy, had fat through it and was only approx an inch thick. Definitely not fillet steak. We tried to give it back and was told we can't. It was the worst steak I've ever had and I couldn't eat it so I ordered dips and bread. Again they were disgusting so I went elsewhere on the way home to eat. Will never go there for food again.

Just went there for a snack and some drinks with my friends on Sunday night and The Bartender Souzan was really nice and made me feel welcome.

We arrived at lunchtime Friday. Extremely busy however there was a very good atmosphere. My wife had the schnitzel and chips and I opted for a Chicken burger . Both were well presented and very tasty.The service was fast, efficient and friendly. Overall a good experience and great food!

It's cargo you love it or hate but it's always open and there and always a laugh

Was there today. $44 for 4 schooners. Air conditioning wasn t working so it was stinking hot. Urinals weren t auto flushing so the toilets stunk.

Come out on a Thursday night for some reminiscing of the good old times dancing to the old school hip hop! It brings back many great memories! There is food available as well. Try out the dumplings and steam buns if you get hungry from all of the dancing. Try the cocktails, but ask to put in fresh juiced fruits. Very refreshing!

A must see when in Sydney. Watching the cruise ships enter the harbour was fantastic.

Hated it doesn't do justice. Can I give a rating of less than 1 star? Don't bother. Terrible venue. Staff hopeless. Owners clearly are not spending any money on the venue. Place needs total renovation.

Absolutely loved our night at Cargo!! Morgan was so amazing and made sure we were happy at every point of our night, made our Sydney experience. Highly highly highly recommend this bar and the new isolation bubbles are so awesome!!!!!

Had a tall guy called Marcus serve me last night on the bar, he was great and very easy to speak to.

I m sorry to say the security were poorly organised and rude when approached, not only initially when checking our Id s but had attitude when needing to be screened a second time for Id? What on earth is going on in darling harbour? Anyone would think the Crown Jewels are kept in a safe at cargo bar, a change to your security staff would be advised as they are an embarrassment to this establishment as it stands.

2 star rating doesn't show that it's bad place. It just my humble opinion.

Music is too loud and even so there no one is dancing, people just shooting at each other, seems weird if you want to talk why do you come to place where you cannot have a conversation... I just come here with group of people who I meet in lift when I was leaving O bar. It's good I've checked this place, since security "asked me to changed shoes" I would not call this place Vibram friendly place :)

A lot of nice people around and most of them smoking. Bottled cranberry juice same as in 333 by taste but half by quantity for the same price. I'm doing my best to find some reason to come here again, but cannot do that, what a failure...

I had two drinks at Cargo Bar, and apparently I was too intoxicated to stay there, so I was kicked out.

It's not even that I was kicked out, but that if the manager had even been watching me to see if I was intoxicated, they would've noticed that I'd just been to the bar, and bought two drinks for a friend and myself, only to then proceed to take my drink from me and lead me to the exit. Why not kick me out before I wasted money on drinks?

Good waste of money, bad service all around.

If there is no line.. It means you will. Enjoy this place. You will have the view to yourself, won't have to line up for drinks... And above all, won't have to out up with the wanky attitude from some of the patrons. This place can really be an amazing place to spend your evening. Esoexitwith work colleagues

I have to say that the service we received was impeccable. The staff were all so polite and could not do enough for us. Once again you have exceeded our expectations from the moment we stepped through the door. We can t think of anything you could do to improve thank you!

The usual "kick out all the guys and bring all the girls in". Don't go here unless you want to waste your money to then get kicked out.

I had the Sunday special of roast beef. Everything was nice apart from the potatoes which were raw. I got told by the waitress they were meant to be like that. I personally thought you shouldn't eat raw potato.

Awesome place for lunch and a drink. To either do business or socialise.

An open air table by the water & a few ice cold beers. Spot on.

Organizing my best friends hens Went to Cargo bar firstly to be told the bride was too drunk. WHICH SHE WAS NOT. I personally made sure she didn't have too much to drink and she drank a water between each drink. Secondly we were told her eyes were too glassy by door man Ben who then said if she put her glasses on we could come in after i explained she normally wears glasses. He then said we could come in but we weren't on the pre organized guestlist. After demanding to talk to the manager LEWIS that they were not informed of our guest list and regardless we weren't coming in. Ending with the bride humiliated in tears. We then headed to Pontoon bar entering with no problem and the later to Stonewall. again with no problems.

Toilet floor constantly wet. Main area where band played was wet. Alcohol too over prized. Won't go there again.

Went in on ANZAC day and had a bloody ripper of a time. Highlight had to be the bartender in the roosters jersey, especially as a roosters fan myself, she had such a positive and friendly vibe 10/10. Will be coming back soon

My husband and I had lunch here last week. The bar and wait staff were very friendly and attentive.
The pizza was tasty and great value. We would also recommend the cauliflower salad which was delicious.

Best place to chill out in the city. You'll find their very friendly staffs to get served. I tried some of the items from their menue and the foods are also worthy to pay for.

Great location in Darling Harbour, nice views from the first floor. Food is fine even if I went to this place for a private party, so this is difficult to say how it is when open to the public. Service is not great, from my experience, especially at the bar. Very slow to get served, with no obvious reason.

Good location, nice view, food is ok, not many choices from the tap but many options for cocktails. This place is always extremely busy on weekend nights.

$10 steak option is great but drinks are all overpriced.

Good views, and great value for this picturesque part of Darling Harbour. If you have a corporate 'Cargo Bar' card it's 20% off non-special items of the bill on weekdays (at least).

It's better to enter early here than late. Lot of rules and thus not so welcoming but it would not be an issue considering the number of people that visit the place.

Monday 10$ steak , nice view to harbour ,affordable food price and good service , sunday DJ starts from 2 pm .
