Fantastic venue, service was polite and enthusiastic.
Went with 4 friends for bottomless brunch.
We launched ourselves into the cocktail jugs, drank as much as humanly possible.
We walked away dead sober, but extremely hydrated. So hydrated in fact we don t have any appetite for further drinks. We are bloody bloated.
We spoke to the bartenders and they confessed the jugs had just over a shot in of alcohol content. Maybe they forgot to bring out the alcohol, just like the oysters that never came.
I m not angry, I just feel like it was not what was advertised. And that s not acceptable at $60 per head. Pull your socks up Cargo.

Chill atmosphere. Young people. Good place to go for an evening drink and socialising.

Cargo Bar is a great place to meet up with friends and grab a drink before you head out for dinner. We shared the trio dip platter (around $19) and antipasto ($23 I think) and both were delicious. The serve of pita bread was very generous; nothing worse than heaps of dip but not enough bread. The let down for me was that you can't order a cocktail downstairs.

Came here for a Friday lunch. Ordered the beetroot ravioli and i ate into a piece of metal, probably from a metal scourer, which cut into the top of my mouth. The staff offered to remake the food but it took too long so i decided to cancel it and get a refund. The manager Dina stomped out and told me i cant get a refund because they have remade the food. She was rude and disrespectful and wasnt even apologetic of the fact that they served food with dangerous foreign item in it and that i suffered injury from it. She told me to "take the remade food or leave it" and that no refund will be given. My team of 30 people are definitely not coming back here for lunch again. Your loss Cargo Bar!

NOT HAPPY! Booked a table for my 21st in the Cargo Lounge but had some of my guests refused entry due to the shoes they were wearing (Air Max's) or for not having a collared shirt on. After reviewing the email I received when I had booked it clearly did not specify particular shoes not being aloud or collared shirts being a necessity. I showed security the email and I was treated rudely and disrespectfully resulting in them losing the business of me and my 25 guests! Terrible!

If you are looking for a quiet place to grab a drink on a week day then Cargo is a great option.

Really big venue & relatively clean. Decent prices for drinks. When I went it wasn't that active, almost dying down. The music selection wasn't great. Experinces will probably vary.

Massive restaurant/bar at King's Wharf. It caters to large crowds of people or tourists. Sit, in the massive continuous indoor/outdoor area and order whatever you like from the massive menu, guaranteed to have something for everyone.

Full bar, decent wine list. Good for groups. An easy place to meet people if you're in Darling Harbour, as cabs can get here and it's the first restaurant on the south end. But nothing magical, nothing special.

I do have to say that I had a pretty good fish 'n' chips here, though. The fish was grilled, not battered and fried. I paid $19 for it, though, so it should have been good.

Worst alcohol service. worst security. we have had 2 things stolen from this place, when we caught one person, they have kicked us out because we touched her on the shoulder. Last time I came here, my drink was spiked! WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE!!!

I chose salmon with salad and it was surprisingly good, delicious.
It's a bit awkward to order drinks and food with mobile, but it's covid time.
Staff is friendly and they take empty glasses, plates frequently away.

Julz. Niuen, cook island, Maori lady. Remembered her from so many other clubs and she s beautiful inside and out. She s too good. Always helps her customers & takes care of you and friends. Very professional and highly recommend her. Companies are lucky to have her onboard.

Went to see a friend DJ, which was awesome. Cool venue on the water with a nice patio, and a good bar and dance floor setup.

The bathroom smell and unclean . Same muse was repeated three times throughout the night . So sad never going back

DO NOT GO TO CARGO!!! Booked my 30th here, biggest mistake of my life. All the staff were rude, specially the ones at the bar, Honestly it's not going to kill you to smile once in a while. Food was absolutely horrible. We were 23 people and we were all disappointed with the food, so obvious it's just warmed up frozen food, some of us even got sick from it. So many better options in the area, make sure you explore your options as there is nothing good about this place! I would give 0 stars if I could.

Staff were all so polite and could not do enough for us. Once again you have exceeded our expectations from the moment we stepped through the door. Thanks .

great service and price. on valentines they give a coupon for $10 for 3 drinks. really great value. good upbeat music and outdoor seating area. ground floor is a nice restaurant with a good water view, and good range of food. upstairs is the bar, great place to go at night.

We were a group of 5, 4 girls and one guy, and the guy was almost sober, and the girls had a few drinks, but despite this the male was pulled out of the line and told he was too intoxicated just because he was a guy, but as soon as he left the line the girls were pulled out and taken straight to the front of the line into Cargo. This just shows this place is sexist and just wants to get the girls in, and not letting males in that have the right to be, even when completely sober. Won t be returning here.

Great ambience. And the 10$ steak is fantastic value for money!

While the ambiance is good, the bar tender(the one with the beard) is a bloody idiot. We order champagne and prawn poppers and thought he told us to walk to our table; Then he addresses us at our group table and tells us that we had to pay. Which would be fine but he said. It's not for free and walks away.Rude and if this was anywhere else he would have a broken nose! Never coming back if that man is working here!

Great Location but I didn't think much of the food. Nothing really stood out. It was a busy night and the staff were thin on the ground. Not that that was an issue

Pleasant enough. Pricey, like anything in Darling Harbour. Slightly synthetic atmosphere, like anything in Darling Harbour. Not the worst of the choices in the area.

It is still open (despite all the publicity that it was closing down). Drinks are cheap, bar gets quite busy after 5 on Fridays.

My first experience of cargo was last Tuesday for a party, and I ll definitly be back! The food, atmosphere and drinks were amazing and the location is beautiful. Above this- special mention to the staff who couldn t do enough for us but in particular to Teddy who really looked after us; ensured our drinks were always filled and we were having the best night possible! We ll be returning!

State of the place not very clean toilets were so bad. Spoke with manager didn't give a toss. If I was owner would not feel very proud of my business.

What we had was nice and the price was fair,nicely decorated and very clean.

I often come here on a Friday/Saturday evening after 9am and am always impressed. The 2nd floor atmosphere is great with loungers and a more intimate setting. The music is always great and the drinks are reasonable. Would highly recommend if your in the Darling Harbour area.

Cargo bar. Standard place to be seen. Come in for a selfy and tag your location. Drinks alright. Staff are generally backpacker spec friendly.. Cool location. Can't argue with that!

Doorman extremely rude. Asked me how many drinks I had, I said none. Then gave me weird stares and asked me am I sure? I said yes of course then he started questioning my attitude. It was around 11pm and the bar was kinda empty so I thought why do I have to deal with this guy to get in? Absolute bullshit. Never coming back!

The girl taking order was so sad and looked overworked. Had Stomach upset after eating here. Strictly avoidable place.

Had a good night on a Tuesday it was quiet, and easy the heaters outside kept it warm even in winter. The food is pretty good I enjoyed the Parma, although they put the chicken on-top the chips which meant the chips (shoestring) were not as crispy as they might be. The weekly specials looked like good value too.

Very classy place. I need to visit earlier in evening to see sun down.

Great place to watch new year's fireworks on a budget.

Bar tenders seemed a little in-experienced. Hopefully they were still just learning. Struggled with some pretty basic drink/cocktail orders.

The bartender Elliot is a top bloke. Gave us a bunch of recommendations and advice about the local area. Greatly appreciated and he s down to earth guy. Cheers mate!

Don't bother coming here, garbage service all across the board. Go somewhere anywhere near by and you will have a better time.

Always a fave, and still got their infamous $10 steaks! Great view, atmo, and great selection of beverages.

Cargo Bar. Reliable old place. Normal priced drinks for a place like that where it is; service speed is normal and bartenders are the usual slightly grumpy kinda fun type. Usually frequented by the younger after work type or kick start a friday night type

A packed venue, Great if you're up for an action packed night.

Too expensive. I bought pint of beer, it cost me $19. Normally I wouldn't complain but really? The service was fine and it was a nice environment to be in. That is all.

HAD the best time here, came in with my girlfriend the other week for a few drinks before we went to the opera and were received with warm and friendly service, a great atmosphere, and our favourite beer!! We were served a couple of times by a tall gentlemen (I m pretty sure he said his name was Marcus) who made us feel right at home and really personalised our service. Being from a hospo background myself, I really appreciate good service and this guy embodies everything there is to it. Thanks Marcus and thanks cargo!!

We usually go there after work for a drink or two. Great location with fantastic view.
It's always busy especially on Friday and Sat nights. Downside is you have to wait for quite long to get your drinks and the place is noisy.

Awesome view, location & food. I would highly recommend the Cargo bar rump steak & their pizzas! :)
