It's been a while since I've been back but it was as fun and tasty as I remember.

Our server was quite nice and accommodating with us and the boys. I tried the recommended Moscow mule and it was good.

We had a keto burger (no grains), an eggplant parm sub, and chicken tenders for the kids. I really liked the eggplant, it was lightly breaded and fried to a light golden hue. The burger was overflowing with bacon and cheese, messy but delicious.

As always, the view didn't disappoint. Beautiful boats headed up and down the intracoastal made for a really enjoyable time.

Came for NYE, had a reservation. Was told we had to wait for the table to be cleared. It was not busy at all. After 2hrs later we still did not receive our food. But they told us all the dishes were prepared in the morning so you could not change anything from what was listed. So they could just put them in the oven. When we finally got the food it was ice cold. The manager never came over to address the issue. Shame the waitress was nice.

It's an unpretentious Italian bar and grill with an extensive menu, and a pretty classic dive bar with pool tables and sports, but it's the back of the place by the Bay that is really the place you will want to end up.

Its beautiful spot for a meal, overlooking the boats anchored off in the intercoastal. Be sure to go when the sun is about to set and watch it dip to the West behind the trees and leave it's pinks and blues floating on the water.

The food is also really good and pretty extensive. Whether you are in the mood for beach bar type fare like the smoked fish dip or conch fritters, you won't be getting dive bar food here. The dip is perfectly smokey and a huge portion - easily enough for the table of 4 to share, while the fritters are a beautiful golden brown and perfectly crispy on the outside while nicely cooked on the inside - no rubbery texture here.

It also shines with the pasta and pizza. Truly tasty Italian. Any of the pizzas is a good choice and all I can say, is pick your favorite pasta dish as they likely have it on the menu and you won't be disappointed.

Ate here w my two friends and got food poisoning. Not only did our waitress get our entire order wrong, not only did the food take three hours to get to the table, but 2/3 of us got sick and have been sick all night into the next day. We ate there 4/8 around 9:30 pm. I would never go back or recommend it!!! Also, the bathrooms were unable to be used due to it being covered in human excrement on the two toilet seats that were available. When I told the waitress she said she would get someone to clean it. It was easier for me to walk back to our hotel to use the restroom! If you ever stay at the Margaritaville Hotel in Hollywood don t expect to eat off site.

Since I cannot reply to the owners comment directly I m editing my comment here!

Firstly, Why would someone write a review if it didn t happen ? You think people are out to get you? Lol You re not that important nor is your poorly serviced, dirty restaurant.

Not only did I bring it to the attention of the manager, we had almost the entire meal comp d. So it did happen. Let me leave a little more detail since you re failing to recall our visit... the waitress put a chicken sandwich in for the order, instead of a pizza. The hilarious and still mind boggling part being she s the one who recommended we order the pizza. She went on and on about how she just had it for lunch that day and that she orders it all the time... that it s so good. Lol Still can t wrap our heads around that one. (Also I forgot to mention the Restaraunt was pretty much dead, so the fact it took three hours... well you get the point. Lmao.) Trying to get us not to go to management, she offered to pay for the pizza out of pocket. We brought it back w us to the hotel thinking maybe, just maybe y all did something right? Nope!!!! It was undercooked and the dough was pretty much raw.

So go ahead w your snarky comment Mr. Owner man with your attitudinal reply! I wonder how many others have gotten sick and have had horrible service at your establishment? I m wondering if you only treat the locals well? Idk... but, if we find ourselves at the Margaritaville Resort again we won t be crossing the street to visit you!!

And two weeks ago from today a person by the name of G Go left a review complaining about a two hour wait for their food. I m not going through every comment but it s funny how you try to call us out for a false review saying it didn t happen but clearly if ppl read the review they ll see people who left 1 star reviews have complained about similarly poor service just as we have.

Food is good, need better organization. Appetizers come, then you wait 1/2 hr. Or so for entree . Waitress always say they are new. Noisey small outside bar, distracts from the ambience. Not so pleasant anymore.

My impression? Nobody likes their job there. Waitress was moody but who isn't nowadays. That aside. We ordered. I think the kitchen staff are too busy checking their phones instead of the food. French fries tasted like fried chicken. All three of us had at least half of meal still on plate and paid over a hundred dollars for an experience where the kitchen staff ignored us and the waitress assaulted us. You should check it out if you like abuse and you grew up on garbage.

Capone's Pizzeria/Flicker Lite has some of the best authentic Italian food to be had in South Florida, and I've lived in Italy for six years. The price is great for the quality of food you are eating.

Walked into place was ignored at first , had to ask first guy asked for a menu. Then ask one of waitress that was sitting on her butt if I could get a table. Was told to hold on as she surfed Facebook. Waited 5 mins and between 4 people working no one got me a table so I left.

Nasty place. None of the waiters and waitresses were wearing their face masks. They all had it under their chin the entire time and kept talking and serving guests without them on. I felt like the fans on the outside were blowing their saliva on my food and face. The place smells like old wet and reused rag. I felt dirty and exposed to illness just being there. We left as soon as possible.

The view, however, is nice. The food was nothing to go crazy for either.

Awesome please to have a few drinks and have some food. The service is amazing. The specialty drinks are delicious and a couple pool tables to play pool on. They also have that really cool machine you can charge your phone in and lock it in. I'll definitely be back!

Totally disappointing experience. Our small group of 3 went to watch Da Bears game on a Sunday. Was not that busy. We respected their covid protocol and waited on the list. We asked to be seated waterfront and were promptly. That was the best part of our experience. Waited 15 minutes four a server tho come back. I had to ask the bartender to change the tv to the Bears game. They call themselves a Chicago bar in Florida hmmm.
We ordered beers finally and put in an oreder for their Supreme pizza. Our heres took another ten minutes. The pizza actually did not arrive for the first hour. I had to find our server and ask if there was an issue. To her credit she apologized. We just wanted our pizza to go. I then walked to our car that was parked 15 minutes down the Beach. Drove back parked again. Still no pizza. Another 7 minutes and they bring it out. No word from manager or server. Never again.. Don't spend any penny here.

We came hoping to grab some food, beer, and catch some games. The place smelled like vomit. Our server was pretty rude and apathetic, couldn't answer a question about one of the beers, and didn't offer to find out, and doesn't seem to know how to competently handle customers. Decided to move outside to the Riverside area in back, but bartender said she wouldn't be serving food at the bar at the time. We could have sat at a table immediately behind us, but didn't want to deal with the server again.

To be fair, the bartender did eventually come back and offered to serve food, but at this point we decided we didn't want to stay.

The place does not appear to be understaffed or overloaded, maybe just a bad night. Maybe worth a shot in the future, but we can't recommend based on this experience.

Oh, and they have a live lobster crane game.... It's pretty cruel and tacky, could be upsetting for people who aren't a fan of that kind of thing.

Ambiance is AMAZING! My date was excited to share a "Chicago" pizza experience...definitely not "Chicago" but a good NY adaptation. Sauce was sweet and thin...option to put on top with deep dish...no corn meal on bottom of deep dish crust. Wait staff was very confused..brought us the wrong pizza first...and then the one waitress stood their at the service station on the back deck, cussing about co-workers and dropping "f bombs". I wouldn't bring kids if you aren't used to that kind of stuff. The views are spectacular and honestly, my date made it better than anything :)

This last and finally time my man and I try this place, we walk in no one greets us, no server in site PER USUAL. Bartenders see us but don t acknowledge. I get up and get menus from the bartender. I ordered the calamari as an app & specifically told her to lightly fry them because from previous visits they were over fried and it s mostly just crumpled pieces of batter. We ate maybe about half until flagging down another waitress explaining our disliking. She says you should ve said something before you ate it all and leaves to find out actually server, I believe her name was Deb. When she approached I kid you not she said you guys should ve said something before you ate it all I WORK in the hospitality industry if I ever said that to a guest I would be fired. We tried to explain to her that it was over fried, mostly pieces of batter and some of it was even freezer burned. She said that how it always comes..It wasn t even what was said it was the attitude that came with it. We didn t even make it passed the appetizer and we walked out. In this industry you re supposed to make your guests feel welcomed and we ve never felt that coming here.

If you want to call it service it took place

We were looking for a spot to watch the Cubs game ...

We were looking for a spot to watch the Cubs game so were originally excited about this Chicago themed bar. Noticed a live maine lobster "crane game" as soon as we walked in. It was rather disturbing and should have been my first indication of the low level of this establishment. Server visited quickly but when asked for more information about one of the beers her response was a blank stare and "I don't know. All I drink is Michelobe." I don't expect every server to be an alcohol expert but she couldn't be bothered to turn around and ask the bartender working 10 feet from our table.

Soon after ordering we realized there was a bayside patio out back so we asked to move. I know that can be a pain for a server but she made no effort to hide her obvious irritation towards us. TVs were only turned on at the bar but we were promptly informed we couldn't order food there. We'd have to sit at a table. Denying patrons the ability to buy food based on their seating preference seems like a poor business strategy. That was our final indication that this place wasn't for us and we promptly left, a common theme in other reviews here.

I've worked as a server for years, so I'm typically forgiving and understanding when things don't go smoothly. However, I felt like an inconvenience to the staff rather than a paying customer. I get the sense no one likes working here, which translates to a negative experience as a patron. We took our business to Nick's about a block away on the broadwalk and had a great time.

This place and it's sibling restaurant off I-95 is about the only place to have a Chicago-Style Pizza south of Orlando, but the prices have a lot to be desired. Probably due to the location on the beach / intracoastal.

This is a mainstay spot for our times on Hollywood Beach. The pizza is the best - try their ala vodka pasta (amazing) and despite all the stories about the service - there is always someone who steps up and makes things right. Good help is hard to find. A consistently great restaurant is even harder. After 15 years and probably 30 trips here - flicker lite gets our vote as a must visit while in town.

Came to Hollywood beach and decided to TRY to eat here. The restaurant does not follow covid standards. No social distancing. Way too packed. No masks. No Hostesses. I watched a customer clean her own table and another customer complain that there wasn t a server for their table. Tried to order delivery instead and they cancelled the order after an hour...they didn t pick up the phone either.

Im usually here late night. Joe is always great! But today I sat waterside for lunch and the older server, (Casey?) was offensive. When the food arrived, the avocados were brown on my friends plate and the chicharrones were stale on mine. Im thinking not a big deal, I'l just tell me server. I asked for another option and she freaked out, was rude, and grabbed both plates. Her over the top rudeness was so awful, I decided to leave. On the way out, she started yelling at us in the middle of the restaurant. The bar manager was clueless on how to handle the server. In 7 years dining at Flicker, I've never been treated so poorly. This 1 server's display of crazy also ran another couple off and to LeTub with us.

Been coming here back in the early 1990s when they had 1 small place and now they have expanded to a huge storefront. Had my first job here also, a busboy. I love their menu. Pizza is phenomenal! Friendly staff and the outdoor seating on the water during the sunset is beautiful. Long live Capone s Flicker Lite! :)

I love this place!! I love the servers, the pizza, and the great prices on beer specials. The dock out back is fun to hang out on. The only thing is the owner can be a bit grumpy and mean at times...but, I assume that goes along with owning a business.

This place was ok since they are open late and service was good but the (Hand toossed cheese) pizza was so awful I had to reduce so many stars. It looked great but was so bland. No one in my party liked it but we were so hungry we ate it. I had to write this review immediately so that hopefully no one else makes the mistake of ordering it. Adding every seasoning doesn't help. Just don't do it.

This is my favorite pizza in the city. The crust is delicious with cornmeal crusting. The pizza itself uses super fresh ingredients. I'd recommend starting with Capone's Flicker Lite and moving to thin crust.

Very good pizza. We arrived Fort Lauderdale in the evening, and went to Capones, around 2.am...(party of six) The pizza's were realy great tasting. The pepsi tasted like a swimmingpool, but after two weeks in the US, I know that it's like that a lot of places when it's not bottled. So it's two tumb up from us Norwegians:-)
