Kaitlyn was an angel! We were visiting Wilmington...

Kaitlyn was an angel! We were visiting Wilmington from middle Tennessee for a one night stay. On our way to our event our car broke down. We were stranded on the highway, 10 hours away from home, totally outside our element and I was almost in full panic mode. We contacted Kaitlyn 10 minutes before closing on a Saturday evening and she stayed over to ensure we were taken care of. Within 2 hours of breaking down, our vehicle was towed to Capital Nissan, Kaitlyn coordinated a car rental, scheduled our vehicle for an appointment first thing Monday morning and picked us up off the highway when the tow truck could not take us. She literally saved our weekend. We were able to get to our event on time, enjoy the evening and an impromptu vacation day Sunday. We got our vehicle back early enough on Monday for us to make it back to Tennessee at a reasonable time on Monday and resume our normal lives. We cannot express how grateful we are that Kaitlyn answered the phone Saturday and turned her life upside down to turn ours right side up. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!!

The entire buying experience was great. All members of the staff from sales to finance were professional throughout the whole buying experience. They did not have the vehicle that we wanted and were able to locate it and have it there the next day, despite being a few hours away. They were definitely willing to go the extra mile. My salesman, Allen definitely went out of his way to make this a pleasant buying experience. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking to purchase a vehicle in the future.

Traded my 2005 Frontier for a new 2019. JJ listened to us, provided excellent info on the options available on the trim level we were interested in, and more importantly; he seemed very sincere and didn't try to lead us in any specific direction. Wrapping up the deal in the business office, the part I usually don't like was really ok. I ended up paying about $1,600 more than I thought I would coming in. Overall, it was a good purchase experience.

Great experience. We purchased a used vehicle recently from Capital Nissan and we could not be happier with the vehicle and how we were treated. After going to nearly all the big dealerships in town I can say without a doubt that this team is the most professional around. I wish more car salespeople treated their customers like Gary Scott, no nonsense and he focuses on helping the customers make the best decisions for themselves. I can't say enough about Jimmy and Matt either. Both stayed after hours to get the job done and met us first thing the next morning to pick up the car. That means a lot for a family of five with a limited schedule. Take my word for it, you will not find another team like this one in town.

Allan Peed was a very friendly and helpful representative. Given my dire situation of needing a car within a day, he made sure what was offered to me was something that would be best suited for me and my needs. I felt he was being honest when he made suggestions, usually starting with "If you were my kin" which was always nice to hear. I felt like he wouldn't put me in a situation he didn't think I could handle when it came to payments or things of that nature. Since this was my first time purchasing a new vehicle, these comforts meant a lot. We walked out with a better car I could have ever dreamed of, with an incredible value. Allan is a good man and I thank him for his assistance. Because of him I will gladly recommend Capital Nissan to friends and family.

Dec. 2018 I required ser. right away( just before Christmas ) and the service rep. Tom went out of his way to see that my car was serviced before I left for Spain. As a matter of fact, I think he went out of his way and waited until after 8 o'clock that night, with his wife, to make sure I got my car.
That's service.....

My experience here was not only lengthy, but poor as well. Every time I called something else was wrong with the vehicle and I was unaware, in addition call backs and follow ups on status of the car was a rarity. It's almost like it was my responsibility to call and ask for updates. After my car had been in the shop (much longer than expected) I was told I could pick it up at 5:00 to 5:30 after they called me. At 6:10 I got a call saying my car was done yet I couldn't pick it up because all the cashiers left. This is both frustrating and a hassle. I had a ride set up for 5:30 to pick up my vehicle, yet now I have to wait another day. I would expect my car to be ready when they said it would be, now I'm left carless another evening and have to rearrange plans to find yet another ride.

I have been to Capital Nissan a couple times for regular maintenance and once for a warranty fix on my 18 Altima over the last month or so. Rachel there in service has always been extremely professional and always makes sure the car is cleaned up and good to go in a timely manner.

Buying a new car can be a nerve racking experience...

Buying a new car can be a nerve racking experience and sometimes uncomfortable when the dealer uses high pressure sales tactics. Jim Kamara, the sales consultant my wife and I dealt with on May 16, 2015 when we purchased my car, a new 2015 Nissan Rogue was very professional and clearly showed the skills to make my wife and I happy. In fact, soon after we finished the paperwork from my new Rogue, we talked more with him and told him we would be back in a few months to purchase another car to replace our other vehicle. We in fact, changed our mind, decided the same day, on our way out that we would be back that afternoon to purchase another vehicle for my wife and we did.

We went home to get the titles to both cars we were trading in and when we came back we in fact, purchased a second car, a new 2015 Nissan Altima. The sales process at Capital Nissan made us feel welcome and we look forward to having our cars serviced at this wonderful dealer.

The financial dept does not fully explain what you are buying. They stated we could have free oil changes for life and when I go back to do the free oil changes we are then told we are required to purchase the maintenance before we can receive or continue the free oil changes. I spoke the Service Manager and she is rude and hateful and said we signed the contract. Would never purchase a vehicle from them again.

If I could rate -5 star I would. Took my truck the...

If I could rate -5 star I would. Took my truck their for one reason just to get rid of the miss. Probably needed coils or something simple.they wanted to install a transmission for 5000 before they did anything and recommended I trade it in and get another one of their vehicles. Didn't get charged anything I owed them no money for diagnostic. Because they didn't do anydiagnostic. Yet when I went to pick it up they brought it out to me with no power steering so I went back in and at least got some to leave. By the time I got home 3 miles down the road i was out of power steering completely,truck now makes more noise then I've ever heard come from a vehicle. I releize why they didn't charge me.. I've never had a problem with the power steering. So they said i needed a new rack for power steering and the part itself cost 1000$. Yet I found them online for a quarter the price. Big fan of Nissan but they didn't listen to what I wanted to pay them good money to do but seems like they abused and broke more parts hoping id sucker into buying a new truck or rebuilding 80%of the one Im still paying for now. By now I wouldn't recommend my worst enemy to get service done their.

I will return for service because this dealership is my only local option. I discussed my service related concerns at length with the service manager. I am very concerned that the issue I had with my car is not considered a warranty issue. I do plan to follow up with Nissan on this matter.

A horrible place to get a car. My wife and her mom have both got one from there for some reason. I went there to look at a car and the people there are the worst you could get for car sales men. Pay here pay here guys are better because they know how to screw you nicely. Over priced cars and they will not answer questions directly. They also don't post prices on the car they tell you you can find them online.

I purchased a 2016 Nissan Versa from this Dealersh...

I purchased a 2016 Nissan Versa from this Dealership and honestly, it's a great car. The salesman at the time was polite and articulated well, giving thorough explanations on just about any question there was to ask about the vehicle I had purchased. It was only after making the purchase that I realized that the end goal for the salesman is simply to make a sale as it turned out I'd payed significantly above value.

Present day, I had received a letter in my mailbox stating that they wanted to buy back the 2016 Nissan Versa. So, I returned to the dealership and met with a salesman, I suppose the warm, comforting environment of the wait area in the dealership paired with the free coffee had muddled my thought process causing me to forget about my previous experience.

After being assured approval in trading my vehicle in, as they had came to me trying to buy back the car I had purchased, I waited around and wasted a significant chunk of my day before being told to fill out the financing application online. After filling out the applications I gave the salesman a call and he told me to return to the dealership so we could discuss my options, making it seem as though there were options.

When I arrived I was sat down with my spouse and told that the dealership was offering an extremely meager sum in contrast to the vehicle's value and were told only after driving all the way across the city that we were turned down financing. The salesman suggested finding a cosigner and trying again, however the dealership effectively lost me as a customer. Not only was I contacted by the dealership only to have my time wasted but I was lead around by the nose for hours effectively wasting a majority of my day and burning up gas to drive up there to receive a response I could have obtained via email effectively costing me money for gas.

All in all, the salesmen look out for their commission and not for the customer. There was no attempt to amend the waste of time and money the visit to the dealership had cost me nor was there any semblance of remorse in the salesman.

Also, their iced lattes are hot, there's legitimately no ice. It's just a latte.

Edit - The lattes haven't improved.

Chelsea at Capital Nissan Service Department located in Wilimington, N.C. went above and beyond to assist us with not only keeping us up to date on our Murano service work and recall appt., but was extremely courteous and professional. If I could give a rating with 10 being the best of the best, Chelsea would receive a 100. Sales dept can use some improvements as our Sales Rep Jesse wasn t so sharp, however service dept is top notch. Chelsea .... thank you for demonstrating excellence in your outstanding performance and customer satisfaction. It is so nice to do business with individuals who actually care and not just take your money. We truly appreciate your quality and expertise in customer service. We are truly grateful. Thank you!!!

BUYER BEWARE!! PLEASE READ BEFORE YOU FALL FOR THEIR LIES! Recently bought a Nissan Rouge and was Sold the gimmick that it came with free oil changes for the time I have my vehicle. The sales guy Moose went as far as doing the math of showing me the savings this would have. Great deal right! WRONG! Went to get my first free oil change and was informed that at 15K miles I need to spend $200 to maintain my vehicle or I loose my free oil changes. Then again at 30K miles spend $600 to keep it. The fees continue at each additional 15K. So much for a free oil change, mind you those fees include oil changes...funny. And you guys claim to have spent so much money advertising the vehicle that you couldn t come down $500 of the price. This just reminds me why I stopped using your service department when I went for an oil change they tried to get me to spend $500+ on unnecessary services. Think twice before using them.....next time I m going else where.

Just spent upwards of 30K on a used vehicle battery is dead after a few week on a low mileage vehicle. Dealership told me drive over 200 miles to replace for free. C'mon man just paid for 100 thousand mile warranty and you tell me I have to drive over 4 hours for a bad battery. Easy solution pay for my bad battery and you may have been sent more business since a multitude of people have asked where I got my car. You lost business over 129.00 dollars.

When it comes to service these guys want to make sure you leave happy. It's hard for me to put into words how they made the car buying experience so I'm just going to say this, that, from now on when I'm in the market for a new or used car, this will be my first stop.

The WORST experience in my life. Service advisor Rachel was rude and wreaked of cigarettes. Completely unprofessional in my opinion. When I asked to speak to the manager I was told she wasn t in, yet I see her in her office. Never coming back to this dealership for servicig my vehicles and I ll make it a point to tell everyone I know not to give this place any business. Nothing but trashy people here.

Service is always good. Every thing is done in a timely fashion. Everyone that has helped me is upbeat and friendly. I want to thank Fred Rose our salesman for all he has done to make our purchase of our new Rogue. My wife Ellen loves it. Now we just have to learn how to use all the buttons etc. I also would like to thank Matt Wooten our Finance guy for getting us thru all the paperwork. He is very sharp. He made it very painless . This is our 2nd Nissan. I have a 2017 Pathfinder which serves me well. A special thanks to (Rachel Brisson.) She is one of my favorite persons there. She is very knowledgeable and always courteous and personable. She always knows the answer to my questions. She is a Keeper. last but not least there s Cheryl Furcini your service Mgr. She always has been nice to me has also answered questions and getting things done for me. Thanks Cheryl. Over all I have been very satisfied since coming to Nissan. I leased a vehicle in March 2014 and was told they...

I leased a vehicle in March 2014 and was told they would inform my insurance company and the NCDMV of the transaction the next day. Sometime after that I received my registration in the mail with the wrong VIN number on it. I called Capital Nissan three times to inquire about this, and finally got hold of someone on the third try (they did not return my first two calls). I was assured this would be rectified. Last week I called the NCDMV to confirm the correction had been made, and it was not. I called my insurance company and they informed me that they were never contacted by Capital Nissan and had no idea that I had a new car. I called Capital several days ago to get hold of the manager, he still has not returned my call. I spoke with another manager instead who said he would rectify the situation immediately. As of now, nobody has called me back. Thanks to Capital Nissan, the bottom line is I am driving on an invalid registration AND until two days ago, without insurance. That's FOUR months!

PS: in response of the reply i received on my other account , the issue is not that it was "EVENTUALLY fixed" the issue is how long it took and the time wasted to get it fixed and how i was treated along the way. i was told i could get another new rouge with i did not want to change my blue rouge which they gave me options of colors which I DID NOT WANT AND APPARENTLY THEY COULD NOT ORDER ANOTHER BLUE ONE FOR ME. well because of this i said yea i would set an appt to get the dents fixed (THEY NEVER SAID IF I CHOSE THIS IT WOULD FORFEIT switching out my rouge for another one). WELL anyways i went for my appt to get my rouge fixed and NO ONE KNEW why i there (apparently everyone that i spoke to werent there and there was no note or anything for everyone else to know about my situation). long story short, when it came time to get me a rented car so i could leave my rouge because (it would take "time" i was moving my items (WITH A LESS THAN A WEEK OLD IN MY ARMS BECAUSE NO ONE HAD THE COURTESY TO AT LEAST HELP WITH MY CAR SEAT) i was told i couldnt get one because i was not 21. reminder i was never told about this "exception" which should they should of known and told me before telling me to go, now you could say "why didnt i bring someone with me or my husband, WELL GUESS WHAT i told them i would be alone because my husband works 8 am to 5 pm during the weekdays and i COULD NOT APPARENTLY get a SATURDAY APPT. so after not being able to get a rented car they tried to tell me they could drive me home which was not a possibility because (as unbelievable as it may sound thats the point of why ppl buy cars TO BE ABLE TO DRIVE AND DO ERRANDS WHICH I NEEDED TO DO THAT DAY). after the whole situation i got mad and called and said "im tired of waiting just go back to option A and give me another Rouge i dont care if its not the color i want anymore" and was told i could not because i chose to get it fixed even though it didnt happen when it was promised. so that why i say they tied my hands and ended up doing what they wanted to do for my situation.
AND AGAIN THIS IS WHY I DO NOT RECOMMENDED ANYONE TO BUY FROM NISSAN AND WHY I REQUESTED THE STICKER ON THE BACK OF MY CAR TO BE REMOVED. i also told them the car had dirty finger prints on the driver side (on the cloth) and i was told they would clean it and NOTHING. still there because they didnt care or how they first told me "I didnt see any damage when i sold you the car".

I have never been treated so badly by a dealership...

I have never been treated so badly by a dealership than Capital Nissan of Wilmington. I inquired this morning about a pickup truck listed on their website via Car Gurus. Spoke with a sales person named Beckie, made an appt to see the truck and drove almost two hours from Morehead City and just before arriving at the dealership a sales person named Evan calls to tell me they just sold the truck. Don t bother making an appt to see a vehicle here because they are not an honorable dealership.

Whatever you do- DONT LET ZACH MORGUE CHANGE YOUR WATER PUMP. the dude does mobile mechanic stuff on the side and totally screwed me. This was not done at Nissan! It was done by one of their techs! He Took my 300 bucks and didn t complete the job. Water pump was pouring out water. Didn t tighten the bolts down and installed my lower radiator hose backwards. Not sure why or how he got hired at Nissan. And i have never been scammed by someone in the auto world until this guy.

Having had my previous Nissan serviced here, I was familiar with the professionality of the staff and how they always went out of their way to make me feel comfortable and confident in my car being serviced. My recent Nissan purchase was no different. To be honest, I'd hadn't planned to purchase a new vehicle for several weeks and decided to take another look at the Rogue's with my husband. We were approached out in the parking lot and asked if we had any questions or wished to look at any vehicles. We test drove both the Nissan Kicks and Rogue S; both wonderful vehicles, the Rogue better suited to our needs. Our sales associate Fred Rose was great to work with.
