Mr. Russell was very helpful, from the moment we shook hands. He was very prepared and had researched the used car I was interested in, and he had driven it himself and personally inspected it for any bugs or glitches. Mr. Russell was also friendly and personable, seeming to take a genuine interest in me and my family. He was on top of things and knew what he was doing, and he remained very positive and resourceful the entire time. The Capital Nissan staff were all helpful and polite, always doing anything possible to expedite and lessen the sometimes daunting car buying process. I have never had such a positive experience at a car dealership, and I would highly recommend Capital Nissan and Derryck Russell!

We were looking for a van for months and we were unsuccessful in finding one with all the featurrs I wanted, so we contacted Valeri Parker. We let her know exactly what we wanted and she found the perfect van quickly. She was a pleasure to work with and very friendly. I'll definitely come back to Valeri Parker at Capital Nissan for future purchases and if I know anyone that needs a vehicle i'll definitely refer them to her. Plus we left knowing we got a really good deal.

I went to the dealership just to look at SUVs. I didn't plan on buying a vehicle that day. Jesse was my salesman, and from the beginning he was sweet, patient, and kind. I had told him I wanted an SUV, not too big, but not too small, and great on gas. Looking and pricing different Nissan Rogues, I couldn't find one to fit my price range. Jesse was actually able to place me in a brand new 2015 Nissan Rogue and IN my price range! Jesse took me on a tour of the dealership and I met everyone I needed to, and I couldn't feel more any more welcome than I did. Brian, in the service dept, was awesome and laid back. He was cracking jokes with me and made the environment feel even greater. I asked David if I could possibly have a balloon because my daughter wanted one, and he didn't hesitate to blow one up for me to give to her. AMAZING service, AMAZING people, AMAZING dealership. I will forever recommend this dealership to everyone I know! I love my new car, and I love where I got it from.

Staff was friendly, and willing to negotiate on the price to make it closer to reasonable. Other then that though I don t have much to say positively. They overinflated the price of everything to an unreasonable level, and also was extremely confusing to get everything on my end in order. Talked to several different people over the phone that had no idea what they were doing, and after a long confusing discussion in person we finally got things sorted out. I would have took my car somewhere else, but it was undrivable and they d already started working on it. Would not recommend them to anyone, and definitely will not take my car back to them.

Great experience. Friendly sales staff, not pushy at all. I've had some car buying experiences in the past that left a bad taste with me for a while. Would recommend to any one.
When we purchased our 2013 Nissan they were out of the complimentary roadside assistance kits, which are super nice. When we returned for our first oil change, the salesperson we worked with remembered and got us our kit. To top it oft the oil change/service was quick and the waiting area was nice and comfy!

This was mine and my husband's second/third purchase from a Nissan dealership and it couldn't have been a better experience. From the moment we pulled in and met him, Patrick was professional, knowledgeable and super helpful. We told him what we needed and he was straight up with us and did exactly what we asked of him without hesitation. In fact every very staff member and the manager were all friendly and helpful. This is a professional dealership with a hassle-free experience and we definitely feel we got the most car for our money. We've been getting our leased Rogue serviced at Capital Nissan since relocating to the area and look forward to many more visits with our new Altima and Sentra. We can't recommend them enough for sales and service; these folks truly get how important a positive customer experience is!

What I like about Nissan is the service department, Charles. He is always very good. He is the one who keeps me coming back honestly. Because it is very expensive versus most other places. Main reason I go back is because of the great service He gives everytime, as well as the shuttle boys are also really nice.

I would appreciate it if they do the job you came for and stop wondering around in people's car. Not a good look.

I found the car I really wanted at Capital Nissan in Wilmington but I dreaded having to go through the hassle of purchasing a vehicle. Mr. David Kelly definitely made the experience much better than I anticipated. He was friendly and kind to my kids, not pushy or rude, and has continued to help me through hiccups long after his part of the sale was complete. I can't thank him enough and will be sure to visit him again the next time I am ready for a new car. Thank you Mr. David!

I sent in a credit application and no sooner I sent it in I received a call from them to schedule an appointment to come in. I spoke with Karen and she was very nice to me and wanted to help me. I explained my situation with my credit which isn t that perfect right now. As soon as they pulled my credit and realized that it wasn t that perfect that s when all communication stopped and they wouldn t return my calls or reply back to my texts. They say they help people with bad credit but it s not true at all. Sorry if I don t have a credit score of 800. I feel like blasting them on yelp also. If you don t have perfect credit then I wouldn t go there because they treat u good until they see your score. Shame on u guys

My experience with Capital Nissan of Wilmington, NC was exceptional. I was initially called by Jeff Adilias to come in and look at the Pathfinder. I came in to look at the Nissan Pathfinders to compare it to the Hyundai Santa Fe that I had my heart set on, when I was greeted by Davis Bureham. He was very friendly and prompt to assist me. I told him I was just looking to compare both vehicles and that I had been to the Hyundai dealership earlier in the day. We went for a test drive and I fell in love with the car. I asked him to work up the numbers with my trade and with the help of several employees, we came up with a number that would fit my budget and at approximately 11:00pm, I went home with the 1st 2017 Nissan Pathfinder of the year. Throughout the whole process that night, several employees went above and beyond to make me a deal I couldn't refuse. I will recommend my friends and anyone who is interested in buying a new car to see Davis Bureham at Capital Nissan. He, Jeff and the other employees that assisted are a real assets to the dealership. Thank you for my car. I will be a loyal customer of Capital Nissan.

I went to the Capital Nissan service center on 9/8/2020 after one of my tires malfunctioned on I-40. I got the great chance to work with a customer service representative named Rachel. She was by far one of the most considerate and applicable customer service representatives that I have had the pleasure to work with. She went far beyond her due diligence to make sure that my visit was exceptional. Rachel comes with my highest recommendations for a customer service representative. The entire service center was superb and I will definitely use them with any future endeavors pertaining to my car.

The service department has been a nightmare! We took our Infinity convertible in because the top was stuck. I don't know what they did to it, but it now needs thousands of dollars in body repair. When I called them they blamed the tow truck driver. However, the tow truck driver had taken pictures showing the damage before he picked up the vehicle. I called the manager to ask for their store video, but he wouldn't return my husband's or my phone calls. It is really a shame that one star is the lowest I can give this company.

We recently had our company Nissan Cube transmission replaced and our service advisor was Rachel. To make things simple, she was absolutely awesome! I called around to get several quotes and believe it or not, Capitol Nissan had the best price, quickest service and Rachel was very helpful and communicated clearly and effictively. I manage people in similar roles as Rachel in my own company, and I have to say, if I had an employee like her I'd do whatever it took to keep her around. Great job!!

I drove 2 hours to purchase a car from Nissan of Wilmington. Buying the car was hassle free and painless. Less than 30 days later before the first payment was made the car left me beside the road. I had the factory warranty as well as an extended warranty. Neither the warranty ( with rental car) or the dealership cared I was stranded with no way home. I was only told that I would have to wait till my car was diagnosed to get a loaner. This was on a Friday afternoon. Great place to buy from to get the run around, they have definitely lost my business.

I went to "The All New Capital Nissan" to look at ...

I went to "The All New Capital Nissan" to look at new altima's. I walked arround outside for almost 30 minutes and nobody asked me if I needed any help. I would have left but wanted to see the inside of an altima so I went inside to find someone. They went on the loud speaker and found a salesperson. He knew nothing about the vehicle and couldnt anwser any of my questions of even show me how any of the equipment working on the vehicle. When I asked about the engine and how powerfull it was the salesperson just looked surprised that I would ask and he didnt even know. The "All New Capital Nissan" is actually twice as bad as when it was Wilmington Nissan. The fact the the commercials say "We just do things better" is a bunch of crap. I will never go back for sales or service. That place is a disgrace. Do yourself a favor and make the drive to another dealer in town or another Nissan dealer out of town.

Bought a 2018 Maxima Platinum. Sales rep was Tim and finance closer was Rick. I have to say, I have been thrilled with every step of the car buying process with Capital Nissan. From start to finish, I felt as if I was purchasing a Mercedes S600. I was offered cold water, introduced to the service staff, had the sales manager come up and introduce himself and so much more. At NO time did I feel ANY pressure to purchase. As a matter-of-fact, when the sales manager came up to me, he simply shook my hand and said that they would appreciate having an opportunity to sell me a car. They did more than that. They sold me (a salesman) on SERVICE.

Oh yeah, and the car is awesome! I received a great deal on an end of model year vehicle and it was washed, polished and detailed at delivery. The quality of the car is amazing for the money.

But I was so impressed by the team at Capital Nissan. Unless I strike it rich somehow (which is in the works), I would very much consider purchasing ANOTHER vehicle from them when I tire of my Maxima (which MAY take a while!!) Well done team!!

Charles, my service advisor never fails to give outstanding customer service. He always goes above and beyond to make sure that all our vehicles get the service that is needed without trying to sell a service or part that is not needed. This is very refreshing in a world where honesty is not always present in the car business. I love that Charles always has a genuine smile which is contagious and brightens my day. Overall his professionalism is second to none!! I can see why he is a valued team member at Capital Nissan of Wilmington.

My service advisor Lenee Tarver not only made sure my vehicle was taken care of by contacting me with any changes or concerns, she tried every avenue to make sure I received everything I needed in all fairness. I live 2 hours away from Wilmington, but found a good deal there. I contacted them ans was in regular communication with a worker there via text. The responses were sometimes fast, sometimes slow. Once the price was figured out, I said I could cut a check for the car and get up there on Friday. They wouldn't offer a "hold" on the car for two days unless I put $1000 down from afar, and that would only last a day... On Thursday afternoon, the worker asked if I was still coming there the next day so she could pull the car for me. I said yes. Before I left on Friday, I asked if everything was ready, and she "checked" and said the car had been sold the night before... Wth. If i hadn't checked, i would have driven 4 hours round trip for nothing...

I first met him when he came by the dealership on his day off and introduced himself to me while I was browsing cars in the lot. I choose to work with because of his initiative. I bought a used car from this pace and bought the extended warrenty for the car and was told it would cover anything that went wrong with it for 5 year or 150,000 miles. I dropped my car off with Charles, and I explained what was going on. He told me that it wouldn't cost ANYTHING for them to look it over and would call me for prices when they looked it over. I called on my break and the lady on the phone asked who I talked to the day before for my car and I told her Charles and she said he had been on lunch but would call me later when he got back. Well I called back again because it was getting close to me to get off work and asked for a update.I talked to a guy named Wayne and he basically said that they had not looked at my car yet, mind you my appointment was at 9am. Well I went to the dealership after work to see about getting a rental car since my extended warranty covers that. Wayne told me that they would look at my car later that afternoon and then would call me. I got a phone call and Wayne left a message saying they looked at the AC and had a leak, but didn't tell me they had done a diagnostic test on it or tell me the price, so I asked about the transmission and he said they would look at it the following day. Well I gave it a few days, and Wayne called again and said the tech hadn't herd anything with my transmission but would try to see if they could catch the sound it was making again. I asked about the airbag and he was like I'll have them look into it. So they looked at my car for a few more days to see if they could catch what was wrong with the transmission. Well I called on Friday and they said they couldn't figure out what was wrong with the transmission, so I asked again about the airbag and he said he would ask his tech again. Which he should have done the first 2 times I asked about it. I called back once again before I got off work so that way I could make sure it was ready to pick up since they had my car for a week and did nothing to it. When I called Wayne he told me that the AC would be over $1500.00 to fix, in which when I bought the car the finance man told me my extended warranty would pay for this. When I got there I gave them the key to the rental and I asked to have my car back. Wayne then told me that it would cost me $147.00 for a diagnostic test. I told him I was advised that it wouldn't cost me anything to have my car looked at by Charles. Wayne was like well you have to pay. I asked can I speak to a mananger. Noah who is the general manager of the service department came and and talked to me and I told him what was going on and he was like well I'm sorry you have to pay, because I had to pay my tech in order to do the test. I was like I understand that but I was told by Charles that I wouldn't have to pay anything for them to look at it. So Noah took Charles to the back to talk to him and Noah came back and was like you have to pay the balance. I was like I'm not paying it because I was told it wouldn't cost anything to look at my car. At that point Charles interrupted me and told me that he didn't tell me that. I said to Noah again that I couldn't pay the balance because I had just paid rent and wasn't advised to the fee. Noah then said my tech would never tell you anything like that and my tech would never not disclose that with someone and my tech wouldn't do that. I asked him if he was calling me a liar and he said well your going to pay or I'm not giving you your car, I said I don't have the money and that I needed to have my car because I'm a single mom and I need to be able to take my son to school and go to work/school myself. He didn't seem to care and walked away from me and left me in the office with no car. They refused to give me my car and told me that I had to leave it till I paid it.The guy who did the shuttle had to take me home and they didn't seem to care that I was going home to my child with no car and told me that my car would sit there till I paid the $147.00. Corporate has been called and this isn't the last of this.

Went here for general service before I moved out of town. Affordable and thorough, but what really makes tye place shine are the ladies at the service desk. Extremely friendly and knowledgeable. Made it a breeze to get work done. If i werent moving out of town, I would make this my go to spot for any auto issues. experience all the way around!

Terrible experience!

Terrible experience!
Would not honor free oil changes and it was the last one we were due.
Was ready to trade but not there.
Went to Stevenson Auto and bought a great truck and fantastic service and employees.
Capital Nissan has ruined our Nissan experience and probably will never buy another Nissan because of this horrible dealership.
Was a much better dealership when it was Wilmington Nissan.

I brought my 2017 Nissan Sentra in for the 15,000-mile service and oil change. I waited until the last minute to make the appointment on a Friday but they were able to get my car in the very next day! I was told it would take approximately 2 hours for the service. I waited in the lounge area where they offer free coffee, latte's, cappuccino, etc. There are even cookies :) They also offer free wifi with no password needed. Between the refreshments and reading an e-book on my iPad time flew and before I knew it my car was ready even with a car wash. It had actually been a little less than the 2 hours I was originally told. All in all it was a great experience.

I was recently at Capital Nissan twice for two different services. First, was my oil change which was done promptly and I was on my way with high marks for my vehicle's condition.
Second, was for a repair to some painting after I scuffed my bumper and got a door ding somewhere. That went very well. Job repair look perfect!

Honesty is not present here.
We were used car shopping. Saw a Kia and Ford we were interested in on Tuesday. But both needed to be serviced and cleaned. They took our number and told us they d call when they were ready. Wednesday no one called. We called Thursday and were told both were serviced and they d have them ready for us. When we got there Th afternoon, the sales manager told us the Kia we wanted had been sold the day before. He didn t tell us that the two times we called earlier in the day when he said it was ready for us to look at. This dealership was 30 min away and we were wasting valuable vacation time. The sales people are also not knowledgeable. We got lots of bad information. Like the warranty on a Kia had 35k of warranty remaining when in fact the warranty is not transferable to new owners unless you buy from a Kia dealership. And many other uninformed ideas.

We came the first time while we were shopping and met Jesse. He was friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. He encouraged us to buy but when we said we were still in shopping mode he backed off and respected that. When we finished shopping at various dealers, some of whom gave us a ridulous hard sell, we evaluated and decided that when we bought we wanted it to be from Jesse. When he made his follow-up call to us we told him what we wanted him to find for us and he told us he'd do it. The next day he called with a car that met most of our wishes. We drove back to Capital Nissan. He had the 2012 CR-V waiting for us and looking brand new. We test drove it, loved it, and started the purchasing process. Jesse was great, as was Patrick Barnes, who completed our paper work. After the sale was complete Jesse went the extra mile and programmed (while teaching us) all of the blue tooth functions in the car, including setting up both of our phones. My wife and I are both in our 60's and have purchased numerous cars in our lifetime. Quite frankly, dealing with car sales people is something I have always dreaded. Thanks to Jesse and Patrick buying our new car was a very pleasant experience. For once it seemed like the customer mattered more than "the sale." We were most appreciative of how we were treated and will recommend Jesse to our friends.

I was in a situation where I needed a new car desperately. I was introduced to Kelli Williams, a sales consultant at Capital Nissan. She listened to me, understood what I needed and got me a great deal on a pretty red Nissan Altima. My experience was the best I have ever had at a dealership. They were understanding of my situation and really worked with me. I highly recommend this dealership to anyone looking for a new car.

Kaitlyn of Capital Nissan Wilmington service department provided excellent service! She went above and beyond to help me with service to my used and newly purchased Nissan Armada from SC. She and team quickly identified the issue and then she went the xtra mile to make phone calls to the prior service department to assure payment would be covered and I didn t have to pay anything. It was such a pleasant and unexpected experience. I will be sure to have my Nissan serviced here in the future.

Kelli Williams was absolutely amazing! She thoroughly accessed my family needs and made an absolutely phenomenal suggestion to fit our needs. As a consumer I'm tend to be apprehensive when car buying because of past experiences of untruthful sales associates, but Kelli Williams was quite the antithesis of this as she was very patient, very honest, and made the experience light and fun. I will never deal with another sales representative outside of Kelli Williams; and as long as she is working for Capital Nissan I will always be loyal to this company. Thank You Kelli!
