Fred and Trey are awesome! They made the experience totally easy for me. I am from Fayetteville and there is a stigma surrounding all car dealerships here because of the way they try and con and scam their way through sales. I have always tried to avoid dealerships here at all costs but looking in other cities can be tedious and discouraging because of the convenience factor. This was not the case at all at Capital Nissan of Wilmington. It was such a stress free and easy experience. I was in and out of the dealership within an hour and could coordinate most everything remotely which was super important for me. Probably the best car buying experience I have ever had. It was also a great deal and I love my new car! It s a 2020 Nissan Murano and they really hooked it up and bent over backwards to get me where I needed to be. They were thorough when explaining the specs of the car as well as what their maintenance package covers. I felt like they had my best interest in mind and I couldn t be happier. They also went ahead and scheduled my complimentary oil changes and helped set up an online account for me so I could keep track of everything. Seriously a great team there!

I recently purchased a vehicle from Capital Nissan...

I recently purchased a vehicle from Capital Nissan and as much as I loathe the car buying experience, I must admit that both the sales and finance teams were exceptional. Trey Yarborough, was the salesman that I had the distinct pleasure of working with. He was personable, transparent, kind and knowledgable throughout the process. When my decision came down to purchasing the same vehicle from either Capital Nissan or another dealership in town, Trey was the deciding factor for me.

I would highly recommend Capital Nissan if you are in the market for a vehicle. I m grateful for Trey and I appreciate his customer service and sales skills. I ll definitely be returning to Capital Nissan the next time my family needs to purchase a car!

In the year 2020, wow am I glad I have Rachel Biss...

In the year 2020, wow am I glad I have Rachel Bisson on my team, helping me get the best service for my latest 2018 LEAF. Through storms when needed a new tire replacement, I was provided a safe dry and quiet space to order a meal and eat healthy foods, while working and waiting for my tire to be replaced. Everyone in the department have been helpful, although Rachel stands out among them all since she is a leader in the Senior Advisor in the Capital Nissan's Service Department. I love good service just as much as I love driving my Nissan LEAF! Thank you Rachel, Your Team and Capital's Manager Noah Woods, too! I added a star today!

I have been a Nissan LEAF driver since September 2013 and am really happy with my vehicle. As with all new innovation, there have been adjustments to be made in types of service required. With fewer parts and fluids, but still requires monitors and tweaks. I am grateful to Capital Nissan and their LEAF Loyalty Department for helping to keep it affordable to drive and electric car in Wilmington, NC. We have all learned in past three years and hopefully it will continue to pay off in reducing environmental impacts, too.

Capital Nissan service department was great!! They were prepared for my arrival and quickly greeted me. Rachel explained my maintenance program and let me know when my vehicle would be finished. When I returned my vehicle was ready looked great (even though it was a routine service , Rachel let me know that they would wash my car as well!!) Thanks for a great customer service experience !

I came here to buy my first car a used honda civic. It was the best price and my sales associate David Kelly worked with me every step to make sure I left with the car I wanted although I have no credit. We drove in from out of town and had a run in with...

We drove in from out of town and had a run in with some roadkill that caused some underside damage to my car. We called Becky who was super helpful and got us in as soon as we got to town. The whole crew there was super nice and helpful. They fixed up my car and got us on our way expeditiously. Thank you Becky and team for your hospitality!

I have never dealt with a more professional group of sales people in buying a vehicle. I saw Steve Kramer on the lot and told him I was just looking for a future purchase. He located exactly what I was looking for in just a few minutes. I was going to wait but, they offered me such an amazing deal that I couldn't turn it down. I had my new vehicle and was driving off the lot in about an hour
Thank you again Steve Kramer. I will tell anyone looking for a vehicle about Capital Nissan.

Excellent service. The Service Manager, Cheryl, is the best. She does what she commits to doing, and communicates very well. My direct follow person, Tom, was very knowledgeable and responsive.
I have owned 5 Maximas. Capital Nissan s Service Dept is the best of any Nissan dealer that I have used - They get it

I found the car I wanted online and I was able to purchase it the next day. I didn't feel a lot of pressure from the sales team. I made my needs clear, and they were very upfront about whether or not they could meet them. This was a stress free purchase and I was pleased with the amount of transparency throughout the process.

What a terrible experience at their service depart...

What a terrible experience at their service department. Every time I've made an appointment there they never complete the job on time or completely. I always have come back to get the work completed. The service department is so poorly managed that if I could do away with my Nissan, I would never buy another one again just based on my experience at this dealership. Made an appointment this week for today at 9am. This was for a simple inspection. I drop it off at 9am and they tell me it won't be ready until 5pm? Okay. They must be busy (but they weren't). Come time to pick it up, after waiting all day, I get there and they tell me they didn't get a chance to inspect it because their safety inspector wasn't working today? Are you kidding me? The next review will be to the general manager. What a disappointment.

They were very prompt and attentive to my needs upon arriving. Ken Hall took the time to listen to my needs for the service and made sure I understood everything before proceeding with any other repairs that were required. He kept me informed of the status throughout the process and answered all the questions I had. If you want someone to make you feel like a VIP you need to ask for Ken.

more details...After signing my contract for a Nissan I was told that something was wrong on their end and not to make any payments until I heard from them..Our first payment came due, 2nd payment came due..and at this point I called the dealership and questioned them because the Finance Company had started calling and harassing me, again I was told to ignore them and to not make any payments...I asked repeatedly if I was to be held responsible for making up the back payments all at once, I was told by Patrick Barnes the finance manager and Noah Woods the General Manager that I would absolutely not be held responsible for the back payments...they said the loan had ot even been funded yet and that when that happened, my payment would be due 45 days later. I continued to get calls from the finance company, my account was reported as late to the credit agency and the dealership continued to tell me to not make payments...I never had a clear understanding about just what had happened that caused all of this....I thought the dealership knew what they were doing and I followed their instructions. In February 2015 I was told that it was time to make my first payment...and that the finance company would be in touch to explain what I needed to do...well they called and instructed me to make my payment of 2040.00 dollars...I replied, "No thats not what I've been told would happen" I was promised over and over that in fact this would NOT happen...I tried to call Noah woods, General Manager, eventually contacted him and all he said was, I'm sorry, I never thought you would have to pay it all...I responded that I expected him to honor his promises he made on several occasions and not to do this to me as I had no means to pay that much at one time...In the end he just hung up and walked away leaving me to find a way out of something THY had cause...I had to put that money on a Credit Card. I frustrated because they are not being held to their promises..their problem became my problem...I am the victim of their incompetence ...they messed up the contract some how and I'm the one paying for it Do not ever buy from Capital Nissan in Wilmington NC

What a horrible experience we had with this dealership, Noah Woods to be exact. He purposely lied to us repeatedly promising us things that he had no intention of keeping...in the end he just says "oh well, sorry I can't do that" and walks away leaving us to pay over 2000.00 and we were not prepared to pay this money, based on Noah Woods promises, so we had to put the money on a credit card.. he told us over and over that we would not have to pay that...but guess what? WE did have to pay it....Never trust this man or this dealership.....they will do or say anything to reel you in and then desert you....no ethics at all, When you promise your customer something you should take responsibility for it...they do not care at all about their customers...NEVER EVER will I buy from this dealership and neither should anyone else...I will sing it from the roof tops to anyone I can to please avoid this man and his lies...Buy from anyone else except Capital Nissan. I can't wait to sit in their waiting room and tell my story to anyone I meet in there... and on Social media and new Hanover hosp and everywhere else I can...you treated us so unfairly Noah... it was just so wrong what you did and you know it !!!

Bought my NEW rouge on 10/13/18, after 4 hrs for the sale process me and my family went to ihop next door to only find out my rouge was missing a piece on the front of the car. Had to go back and got the BS story of oh that piece is put away in the back of the car, the salesperson just forgot to put it in place well guess what no piece was there had to wait for them to locate it. 2 hours later when I got home i was standing on my porch and realized that there were dents on the roof!! I called immediately to be basically told as first by saleperson terry that he didn t see any damage when he sold me it, which I replied with just like you didn t see the missing piece in the front . Literally the phone conversation made me so mad I went into labor!!!! Had my baby on the same day at night (11 pm - 1 am following day), sent my sister and husband Monday to get things fixed to basically to no avail, the ppl in Nissan tied my hands on my options and did whatever they wanted to do. Cuz apparently they couldn t find me another blue rouge to trade, rude managers and bad service. Can t believe them, there s so much more to this story but quite frankly if I were to discuss everything that had happened this would be almost an essay in why I don t recommend anyone buying from Nissan in Wilmington

Rachel Brisson s service was expceptional! I had brought my vehicle in, months prior, and my issues were not extensively addressed at all. No codes came up from the issues that I was describing, and I was told to take my vehicle and come back if I kept experiencing the issues. She was thorough and offered more solutions for the problems than I had ever received prior. She was apologetic in regards to the service that I didn t receive, and wanted to make it right. The upgrade in the computer software was a bonus she did complimentary, since it was never considered or offered before. Once that was installed, it through a code immediately, and my transmission was the problem, and it needed to be completely replaced. It was awesome how she handled the insurance and vehicle warranty information, I didn t have to do a thing! Her service is impeccable and I would buy another car from Capital Nissan due to her genuine personality! The service department as a whole was phenomenal, everyone was very accommodating and helpful.

BEWARE OF FALSE ADVERTISING. There is a reason this dealership does NOT post the manufacture MSRP sheet on their cars. My car was advertised as being below $16k. But then they throw in all these fees, like window tint and paint protection, things done to the vehicle and not add-on items I requested. Next thing I know the car is back up to $21k. They even charged for the air in the tires!!

We were probably an easy customer since we knew the exact vehicle we wanted when we got there. Matt was very easy to work with, answered all of our questions and was very informative about the process and the van we were interested in. Patrick in the finance department was very honest and transparent in the financing process and helped us find the option that worked for us. I have to give them credit for providing us an extra key fob ($300 value) and owners manual on a used as-is van. It may not be allot but it speaks to their desire to do right by the customer. I would visit them again if I lived in Wilmington.

I have been servicing my vehicles with Capital Nissan for more than 2 years now and she has always made me feel welcome, been more than helpful and gone above and beyond at providing the BEST customer service!!!!

My key fob wasn't working so I was worried I would have to replace the remote. I visited Capital Nissan and Tom quickly greeted me and much to my surprise only had to replace the battery. It was done immediately and there was no cost. Plus, he was super friendly. Keep it up Capital Nissan!!

This is the best service at any dealership or mechanic shop. Chelsea was very willing to help me. She was very easy to get in touch with and always returned my calls. Chelsea made sure the issues were taking care of immediately and resolved in every aspect. Excellent service!! I highly recommend this dealership!! Ask for Chelsea!

Purchased a truck from this dealership back in May...

Purchased a truck from this dealership back in May along with an extended warranty. Had an issue with the truck last Monday and had to have it towed..called the service department to let them know my Ford truck would be there shortly. Normally I would've had it taken to Ford but the warranty i purchased stated that the vehicle needed to be brought back to the place of purchase for service. So the lady on the phone takes all my information including what type of vehicle I have an says they'll be looking out for it and that it would probably be the following morning before they could look at it, cool. My truck gets towed there around 11:30 Monday.. I don't hear anything Monday or Tuesday.. I call Tuesday afternoon to see if they have looked at it yet.. I basically get the run around and was told that someone would call me back shortly.. No call back. Wednesday arrives and still no call. I call again Wednesday afternoon only to be told by the young lady that she doesn't see my truck in their system! She tells me someone would call me back to figure out what was going on. I get a call shortly afterwards from the service manager Cheryl who proceeds to tell me that they do not have my truck! She then tells me that even if they did have it they wouldn't be able to work on it because they can't diagnose Fords! So why wasn't i told this when i made the intial appointment??? So now I'm panicking wondering where the hell my truck is. I call the tow company to make sure they didn't mistakenly take the truck to capital ford instead of capital Nissan. They track down the driver and verify that the truck was delivered to Nissan so I call back and ask for service manager Cheryl only to be put on hold forever. Finally someone picks up and its a guy named Andrew, thank god for this guy, I tell him what's going on and he says ok I'll go walk the lot to see if its here and I'll call you back..5 minutes later he calls and sure enough my truck's been sitting there untouched since Monday! He tells me call the ford commercial service store that's right beside Nissan to see if they would look at it. Fortunately they agreed to or else I would've had to have it towed again to Capital Ford. This was by far the worst experience I've ever had at any service department and you would think that after all the b.s. I dealt with that I would at least have gotten a call back from the service manager Cheryl to apologize for their screw up.

Unreal, I purchased a used SUV form Capital Nissan...

Unreal, I purchased a used SUV form Capital Nissan. My wife and I were trying to downsize a vehicle to get ready for a baby. Given the mileage of the car, I asked the Sales Rep to MAKE SURE that the timing belt had been done. He said "No Problem, I'll make sure its done!"

Come to find out..... I take the vehicle in for service at the Toyota Dealership and not only had the timing belt NOT been done but the car is past due for NUMEROUS maintenance.

This gets better, I call and talk to the service department. They say you need to talk to the sales department. I get a call from my sales rep and he says management (Noah Woods) said they are NOT going to fix anything, including the timing belt.

I asked to speak with Noah and he said "I'm sorry hes gone for the day, you will have to call him tomorrow."

OK, so he just told you to call and tell me that you guys WILL NOT fix any of the issues and instead of at least taking my call and he leaves for the day?

Let me just start by saying the service department here went above and beyond for my family and I! Thank you to Rachael our service attendant and Casey the service technician for putting in extra hard work for us, it will never be forgotten! Thank you to them for cleaning up another garages mess up in such an amazing time to get my family home in a timely manor!

I moved to Wilmington in January 2018 and I own an Infiniti. I've always serviced my vehicles at the Infiniti dealer but unfortunately the closest is in Raleigh. Luckily there is Capital Nissan here in Wilmington and they have been outstanding. Here are two quick stories:

We arrived right after the snow/ice storm in January 2018. During the trip from the Northeast something happened with my driver side wiper blade where it wasn't moving. I literally drove into town the day prior and still haven't received our moving trucks so I had no tools of my own to try and fix. We pull into Capital Nissan and explain the situation. They take my care for 20 minutes and return it back with working wipers. They told me the arm just needed to be tightened a bit since it came loose with the ice lodged underneath the blade. They didn't charge me anything for that quick visit but I knew I was going to be in Ok hands here in ILM.

Recently, I brought my Infiniti back in for a basic annual inspection. Upon testing they realized there was a major issue with the catalytic converter (think about how much that would cost to replace). Jonathan, my service agent, spent a good amount of time researching my issue and found it could be covered under Infiniti warranty. He gave me the exact details, I chatted with Crossroads Infiniti in Raleigh and about 6 days later, my truck just passed my inspection.

With this long winded review, I think you can see that Capital Nissan is exactly what you want from your vehicle service provided - honesty creativity and integrity. I would recommend Jonathan and the Capital Nissan team to any family member or friend living in the area or just passing through!

Had about $1000 dollars worth of servive done to my Murano, next oil change come to find out I had an oil leak because the tech did'nt replace the valve cover gasket. Asked about tire pressure sensor they could'nt tell me anything, only to come to find out later there's a screw in my tire.

Beware the bait and switch..... I took my 16yr old daughter to look at a nice vehicle that was listed at $13900. The salesman, Joe, was very nice and helpful. We mentioned that we would like to be at $14,000 out the door, and he said that he couldn t do that because of tax and registration, and their internet price is their lowest price. No problem...I asked hi that 3% NC sales tax and registration should put it at $14,500-$14,600 out the door, and he said that sounded about right. So my daughter test drove the vehicle and fell in love with it. We go back inside to write the deal up, only to have my daughter crushed with disappointment when Joe came back with a $16,500 out the door price after talking with his manager!! He and/or his manager added about $800 for an accessories package that included some kind of ceramic coating (which it didn t have because the vehicle was dirty and the battery was dead), and then tacked on almost an additional $1000 in random fees to that. Is this the way car dealerships do business nowadays? I see it as very unethical, and my daughter had the unfortunate opportunity to see it in person.

UPDATE: General Manager David contacted us the next day to see if there was anything they could do to earn our business. I explained what had transpired, and he graciously honored the $14500 price we were quoted. On top of that, Joe is delivering the vehicle to me at work, which is 3 hrs away!!! We all make mistakes, but they have gone above and beyond to make things right with me. Thank you Capital Nissan, you have made a young girl very happy, and earned our continued business!

Long story short... If you make an offer on a vehicle that they dont like prepare to be ignored.

...I have no issue with you declining an offer but whats unacceptable is how you would rather respond to my negative review than to return my vm. Maybe I had reconsidered after looking around more and decided to up my offer. Well done sir.
